Timber Hall is custom built from logs that have been harvested and milled here on our 76 acre farm. A spacious 3,000 square foot open space with vaulted ceilings, open beams and 18 candle chandeliers creates a simple, rustic elegant charm that is perfect for weddings. Comfortably seating 150 guests with additional areas allocated for Buffet, DJ and Bar setups while leaving room for dancing the night away. Our roomy 1,200 square foot front porch is fully furnished and provides open views of the gardens, mountains and Carolina blue skies. Included are a comfortable Men’s lounge and dressing room, Women’s Lounge and a separate dressing room for the Brides. Each restroom is handicap accessible. Also provided is a convenient Prep Kitchen for all your caterers with easy backdoor access. Our outdoor area features a 36′ x 52′ natural hand built pergola and a 40′ x 45′ pavilion. Within the pergola there is an 8′ x 20′ stage complete with electrical plugins for performers and ceremonies.
Acres of rolling green lawns with amazing views, provide a relaxing and serene natural setting for all of your special events. Weddings, Birthdays, Family Reunions, Anniversary Parties, School/Church Events, Music/Craft Festivals and Large Fundraising Events. Ample parking and handicap access. Other outdoor amenities include seasonal gardens, fire pit, large picnic tables, event size grills and griddle.

I had my wedding at this venue on June 7, 2024. Cheri is absolutely incredible. She is extremely prompt, readily available, happy to help, and will always support you in having your vision come to life. She made the entire process completely smooth and eliminated almost all my stress! The day of was perfect, and in large part that was due to her, her staff, and her list of preferred vendors. I literally just went down the list she provided and every one of my vendors was absolutely fabulous. I worried about literally nothing. My only regret is that I booked a wedding planner before reading her website in detail- with Cheri's help, you really don't need one. As far as bang for your buck, this is 100% the best deal that my husband and I were able to find in Asheville and all surrounding areas. The venue is absolutely breathtaking. Cheri and her fam are always making the cutest additions. And the best thing about the entire experience is that Cheri has become a friend.

Cheri and her team at Timber Hall Events made my wedding dreams come true! I would highly recommend Timber Hall to anyone who is looking to get married! From start to finish, Cheri was there answering all of my questions and making sure I had everything I wanted. The venue is absolutely beautiful and the services Cheri provides are unmatched. All of our guests loved their experience and commented all night how smooth the night went. I cannot thank them enough!
Would absolutely recommend Timber Hall Events! We had our wedding on 6/10/23 and everything was perfect thanks to Cheri & her team. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and requires no decoration because the ceremony site and gardens are beautifully maintained, the mountain backdrop is breathtaking, and Cheri has a closet full of decorations to choose from including chargers, table cloths, runners, napkins, vases, fake candles, you name it. We loved that the venue was geared towards enjoying the outdoors and stunning mountain views with the covered front porch and patio for cocktail hour and dancing. Many guests said this was the most beautiful wedding venue they had been to. Cheri is down to earth and has answers for all your questions and many ideas of how to save money while achieving your wedding vision. She acts as the day of coordinator and was so helpful in making the day run smoothly. So happy we chose Timber Hall!
I had the most amazing wedding at Timber Hall Events on 8/26/2023. The venue is truly beautiful and I highly recommend it for anyone wanting a relaxed, fun space with multiple areas for different parts of the wedding this is the venue to choose. The ceremony site is absolutely gorgeous, it is so fun to have cocktail hour on the porch, transition to dancing on the patio overlooking the venue with twinkle lights, and a big barn for dinner. It was so nice to be able to break up the events and we had an absolutely epic dance floor going! We were supposed to have air conditioning in the bridal getting ready room and it was not working. Cheri and her team left for a few hours in the middle of the day to get ready, and so there was no way to communicate annask for help since there is no service at the venue. It was an almost 95 degree day in Asheville so it was a little unfortunate!! Additionally, I paid extra for them to put out our dessert, but was unsure/ don’t think they ever refilled the table because we had so much in the fridge in the room and I know the dessert table was pretty empty at least an hour and a half before the wedding ended. We were also promised a golf cart to transport 3 Grandmas since the venue is on a huge hill and I’m not sure what happened but the grandmas did not get the golf cart for transportation… Overall, this was a beautiful venue and Cheri’s daughter, Megan, who helped with the wedding was so nice, Cheri was a little sassy to me and throwing some attitude when I asked questions about how things would work, but they did do a great job with everything. It was also very nice they had plates, silverware, and decor items you can use as well! I really do recommend Timber Hall for a truly beautiful wedding!!
I cannot say enough about Timber Hall and the owner Cheri! Cheri has created the most perfect wedding venue. I am so thankful that I went with Timber Hall for my wedding. Not only is the venue stunning, I found that the services Cheri provides made planning less stressful and our wedding day less stressful too. I planned my wedding by myself and with the package I chose the table settings, linens, chairs, tables, catering materials and more were all included so I didn't have to worry about renting. And I was able to use the decorations she already had so I got to save money on decorations that I wouldn't use again after the wedding. With the wedding package I purchased, we were able to spend the day at the venue Friday before the wedding to set up everything to our specifications and have our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. The view from the porch of the reception hall is beautiful and all of our guests took amazing photos in front of the surrounding mountains. The venue is far from busy roads so the whole site is very quiet. We got so many compliments on the venue and many said that it was the most beautiful wedding they'd ever been to. And that is all thanks to Cheri! My favorite part of the whole venue is the outdoor ceremony location. The pictures speak for themselves. And last but not least, Cheri also acted as my day of coordinator and made sure everything ran smoothly and our day went off without a hitch! I would recommend this venue to anyone who is interested in having a stunning wedding and saving themselves some stress and money!
Timber Hall is a stunning venue with a stunning owner and staff! We love Cheri! She is down-to-earth and has a world of experience to draw from. She made sure that our day was all about us and that everything flowed smoothly. She also was more than happy to answer all of my questions (sometimes 2-3x over.) We got so many compliments about the site too! The price is beyond fair, especially for all the beauty, accommodations, and support you will receive. We could not be more grateful to her for opening her venue to us!!
Timber Hall Events is incredibly beautiful. The location is absolutely gorgeous, and the venue itself is lovely. Additionally, Cheri and Cindi are both incredibly sweet and helpful. They were easy to work with and did a great job of making what could have been a super hectic day feel a bit easier. I can't recommend this venue enough!
Our wedding at Timber Hall was perfect! Cheri and her team have done an amazing job creating a beautiful space for weddings. The hall itself is gorgeous and the patio/porch are amazing outdoor spaces with great seating. The landscaping is absolutely stunning against the backdrop of the beautiful mountains. Cheri was super flexible when we wanted to do food stations instead of the typical buffet. She is so down to earth and easy to work with. TImber Hall accommodated our every need and more! Timber Hall provides a great value in a super pricey Asheville wedding venue market - amazing bang for your buck. We were so lucky to find Cheri and Timber Hall - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
Most amazing venue from the actual property itself and grounds to the craftsmanship and extra small details just overflowing in every space of the reception hall to the manicured gardens. And that is just the start- you have a room filled with decor to choose from as well as linens and plateware/glassware/flatware provided. And most of all you have Cherri who stays with you the entire way making sure that you get your dream wedding. You leave not only celebrating and getting married at a beautiful place but you leave with a new friend in Cherri because she Caters to her Brides so much and her naturally warm friendly personality makes it feel so comfortable.
We can't even begin to describe how thankful we are for Cheri and the overall experience at Timber Hall. Cheri is amazing and creates such a laid-back, family friendly environment. She puts such care into making the venue as perfect as it can be and it looks magical. We did the rehearsal and wedding at Timber Hall and both were great. Cheri handles those little details that aren't always thought of and everything went so smoothly. Would highly recommend!
My now husband and I sprung for the Oak package so we could have the venue for 3 full days and I’m so glad we did! Cheri (the owner) is such a wonderful lady and she does everything she can to help make your day perfect! And our was beyond perfect! Highly highly recommend this venue! So beautiful!
o I’ve said it many times during the wedding planning, and I will tell everyone I ever talk to about my wedding: Cheri and Timber Hall helped save my wedding. After my previous venue decided that they were closing, and making excuses about what they could and couldn’t do (including asking us to change the date of our wedding); my fiancé and I were out $1000 and a venue.
Through a recommendation of a friend, I reached out to Cheri and asked her what she was able to do with what our budget was and what we were looking for. Instantly, we were treated like family, and I knew we couldn’t even consider anywhere else.
After we booked, Cheri made sure to stay in touch – even calling just to ask how my planning was going, and checking in on how I was doing, making sure I wasn’t stressing myself out too much. Day of, her and her daughter went above and beyond everything even I could have thought of to make sure that my day was perfect, including picking up where other vendors were slacking. I cannot overstate how much they’ve done, and how much I recommend them to anyone considering an outdoor/barn/wooded venue.

Cheri was truly a god-send! She made everything about planning a wedding easier! First of all, Timber Hall is absolutely beautiful and requires little to no decorations and is such a VALUE! All the tables/chairs/linens are included in the up-front price so there were no extra costs. We also got to pick our own vendors. We even got to rehearse there for free on Friday and have a small dinner in the picnic area. Would HIGHLY recommend this venue! WE loved hosting our wedding here!
