Tim's Touch Flowers and Gifts

To start with, I literally never right bad reviews but I would hate for a bride to get treated the way that my family and I did. I am generally an easy customer because I have worked in the service industry since I started working so bad mouthing small businesses like this is not my forte. Tim is very hard to deal with. No customer service skills, he does not care about what you want, only what he likes. If you do choose to book Tim, be sure to ask for all fees up front. He hit me with a VERY large fee 45 days before my wedding on the day that I was going to sign a contract with him. I asked for ways to reduce the fee and he told me there was nothing I could do. I then said I was going to have to reduce the flowers because I could not afford everything and he told me he could "only offer one more complimentary quote" Mind you this "quote" was an email and could easily be adjusted by a simple backspace. I was paying $3,000 for flowers and wasn't even getting everything I wanted and then with tax and this additional fee that was never discussed I would have been paying $1,000 more. He insulted me and my family and then had the audacity to say that he spent more time on my wedding than any other wedding he has ever done. Mind you I had one initial consolation (where I wrote him a check for $500 on the spot). My family and I met him at the venue because he was doing a wedding at my venue that day and he asked us to come see his work. Then my mother met with him once because I could not be there due to being super busy at work. I had to cancel last minute on the final meeting because I work 9-6 on weekdays and he will only do consultations on the weekdays and the latest appointment he will take is 4:00pm. We were discussing the final details through email as we had already picked flowers and just needed to confirm numbers. I figured that could all be done via email because I was no longer able to leave work early.(I actually had to take PTO hours in order to leave at all) That's when the insults started. I canceled on him 45 days before the wedding because he was so rude and unaccommodating. I called a different florist that same day, told them what I wanted and because they are actually a tech savvy company, shared a Pinterest board with them and they quoted me less than Tim without even having to show them his quote. Tim wouldn't look at anything on my Pinterest and actually made me feel bad about showing him my ideas this way. Planning a wedding is stressful. Your florists and all other vendors are supposed to make it easier for you and he did the opposite. He acted like he was doing me some huge favor by doing my flowers and treated me like an inconvenience. Walk, no run in the other direction.

Tim is fantastic. He said he had a vision and it was wonderful. I gave him pictures of the bridal and bridesmaid dresses and the flowers were stunning with them. My decorations were beautiful and Tim was very professional yet personable. Highly recommended

Tim Lawing somehow managed to get inside my head and figure out exactly what kind of flowers I wanted. I gave little detail and really had no idea what flowers I wanted, but he figured it out for me and was a huge help setting up the reception. He created stunning, creative floral arrangements that were perfect for the overall look of my wedding. Special kudos to him for looking at my bridesmaid dresses and creating the PERFECT bridesmaid bouquets. He is wonderful and WORTH the money.

Tim is absolutely the best from the consultation to the finished products. He far exceeded my expectations. Wedding guests are still talking about the fantastic flowers! I couldn't have asked for anything more! Must see his work to believe.
