I really hate to leave this review because our wedding went so perfectly however, TLC Event Staffing’s bartenders left a negative impact on our guests and us (the bride and groom).
Everything was going well until guests kept coming up to me and my wife telling us that the bartenders were rude and having racists attitudes. We are of Mexican descent and of course most of our guests were also. The bartenders were rude, kept lying about what drinks were available (seemed like they didn’t “feel” like making certain drinks) and then lied at the end of the night. We had at least 20 cases of beer, water, sodas and bottles of liquor leftover. My groomsmen were in charge of picking up what was left. So one of them asked the bartenders for the rest of the beer to which they replied “there’s none left.” We knew that wasn’t true so he insisted. They replied “I don’t know what beer you want me to give you if there’s none left…” luckily he helped me unload everything so he looked around and found all the left over beverages hidden. Although this didn’t ruin my wedding, nothing could, we’d hate for any other families to experience the level of disrespect our guests received. Not only did we have complaints, but according to the owner of the Stoney Ridge Villa, they had complaints the week before. Why keep using a company that is negatively affecting your guests? We’re paying for a service, this is not volunteer work. And of course, wedding prices are not regular prices either. We tried to resolve this with the owner of the company, Terri Elder, but she just gave empty apologies and excuses stating “When the bartenders close the bar, all of the alcohol that was at the bar is boxed back up and taken back into the kitchen and placed on the counters to be
loaded by the family.” Which begs the question… how is there no beverages left if the bartenders are the ones leaving out the rest of the beverages in the kitchen for the family to pick up? The beverages were hidden in cabinets btw. This was intentional. Please take this into consideration before hiring this company or booking this venue since it’s mandatory to hire this company when booming Stoney Ridge Villa.
We hired TLC to bus our tables during our event and they did a great job. They were easy to book with and helped make our wedding day a great one!
I coordinated a wedding on 3/5 and the bride & groom had hired Nicole to keep eyes on the popcorn bar and cake table, as well as help me out whenever I needed a second pair of hands. She did a fabulous job directing guests and helping me with teardown, had a can-do positive attitude, and was very professional.
Terri was our day of coordinator and we could NOT have done this wedding without her. She worked so hard all day long and she not only worked through all of the big details, but also the little details that I never would have thought about. Every time I think about our wedding, I think about how smooth everything was, and it was because of her! I will always recommend her to future brides! Thank you so much!
We hired TLC for our May 4th wedding and we could not have been happier with the service they provided. Terri was so lovely and accommodating to work with and her staff was wonderful. From their professionalism to their demeanor and efficiency, we were blown away. Everything ran so smoothly and we are so thankful that we hired Terri and her crew. We could not recommend TLC more.
Teri and her group did such a great job making our day completely headache free! They helped decorate the place beautifully, and did such an amazing job with cleanup and all. I would highly recommend TLC Event staffing to any bride! The rates were reasonable and made the day a complete breeze!
