As a florist, working with Christina made my job extremely easy and helped installation remain organized the entire wedding day. Even though Christina was brought onto the wedding the same week as the event, she had complete knowledge of the client's event, timeline and vendors. She kept all vendors on track with the timeline and made sure that the order of events was handled properly. Not only did she impress me with her event planning skills, she also was an absolute joy to work with. Christina provided top-notch professionalism and an extremely positive and fun attitude. I can’t recommend working with To The Nines enough! If you are in Chicago or Detroit, look no further!
I've been in a lot of weddings with day of coordinators, but Christina is unlike anyone I've eve met or seen in action! She is nonstop all day and one of a kind! I was in the bridal party and with her pretty much the entire day, and she was there every step of the way to ensure things were unfolding without any hiccups. She had a perfect balance of running the day, but not being *too* overbearing. She is very personable, outgoing and easy to get along with, while maintaining her professionalism and you can tell she really loves what she does and has fun. She was so excited for my cousin, her husband and really hyped all of us up in the bridal party! I was also surprised because she stays the entire night and doesn't leave after dinner, which I know from being in friends' and other family members' weddings, their coordinator left earlier in the night. She was zipping around the reception the entire time, tending to everything and anything that the bride and groom needed, their family, and really any guests! She has a packed emergency kit that she wheels around all day, which really came in handy. Christina goes the extra mile and I can't wait to have her be a part of my big day too!
It's difficult to fully express the disappointment we experienced with Christina. Long story (below) short - she bailed on us 2-weeks into our working contract and less than 6-weeks before our wedding.
After a great initial first call, I was excited to work with Christina on our wedding day. We postponed due to COVID and she was helpful throughout the pandemic - providing insights on postponing, contracts, vendors, etc. Christina was contracted to start 8-weeks out (approx. 10/29/21). That week rolled by - nothing from Christina. I wasn't worried, as we still had plenty of time, but sent her a quick email to check in early the next week on 11/2 - no response. As we were then about six-weeks out from our wedding, I started to panic. I sent her a follow up email on 11/8, called and texted - no response.
Then, on 11/9 - 2+ weeks after we were supposed to start working with her and less than 6-weeks before our wedding, she told us her in-laws were celebrating their anniversary on our wedding day and she could no longer do our wedding, even though she had our wedding booked for almost 2-years.
We had a signed contract that stated if she wasn't able to make it, she would have someone else from her team available. She said they all had holiday plans and were unavailable. After we expressed our frustration and brought up the language in the contract, she found another planner for us, but at that point, we didn't have any trust or confidence in her recommendations. I understand things may come up, but to dodge my calls / emails, then get back to me with this excuse and no other solutions or offer to help, etc., I was super upset and disappointed.
Overall, it was an incredibly frustrating and frankly, unprofessional experience. It was clear her couples are not the priority and her contracts don't hold up.
As a fellow wedding professional, I cannot say enough amazing things about Christina! I am a Detroit based wedding photographer, and had the wonderful opportunity to work with Christina this fall. She is not only kind, outgoing, and extremely helpful, but she is so wonderful at her job! She reached out to me prior to the wedding so that we could discuss timeline with our clients and all be on the same page. When the wedding day rolled around, we all felt like old friends and the day could not have gone more smoothly. If you are looking for an amazing coordinator for your big day, look no further! Christina is wonderful!
Christina was amazing! She was the planner at a wedding this year, and I was the photographer who shot it. She was really organized and professional before the wedding and the day-of! Pre-wedding she set up a phone call with herself, the bride, myself and the videographer, just to make sure everyone was on the same page, and that was extremely helpful. I had also never worked with a planner who came along during photos and helped with those - which was extremely helpful! Even the groomsmen knew her name, which says a lot about how helpful and willing and available she made herself all day. I was also so grateful that she made sure I got all the shots I needed of the reception set up before proceeding with the reception. I thought that was super thoughtful and I love it when vendors help each other out during the day and work as a team! 5 stars all the way.
I got married two weeks ago and hired Christina as my day of planner! She was truly amazing before/during/and even after my wedding! You don't realize you need a coordinator until you get one.. She really saved the day for me! She also did a great job with the timeline and helping set up/take down décor. I would recommend her to everyone!
Christina did an excellent job for us. She was professional, knowledgeable, and communicative / responsive. She even went above and beyond and took a bunch of pictures for us during the wedding (in addition to our photographer). We'd highly recommend her!

Christina is unmatched as a wedding planner. As a wedding photographer, I've worked with countless planners and Christina is the one I would choose if I could build my own wedding day dream team. She's everything you want in a planner, detail-oriented, driven, extremely hard worker, and always ready to go the extra mile to make sure the couple and their guests have the absolute best day.
Christina (To The Nines) was the easiest and most enjoyable wedding planner I've ever worked with! From the very start of the festivities, her outgoing, lovely personality mixed with her highly organized & professional way of managing the flow of the night put me at complete ease as a DJ/MC. She is 100% genuine in her care for making couples' weddings beautiful and memorable. Everything was so smooth and fun from start to finish. I only wish I could work with her & her team at every wedding I have!

We knew Christina was going to be amazing from the first time we met in March of 2019. We instantly connected and she was so understanding of my requests from the very start. I was a very hands on bride but I 100% trusted Christina to take the reins on the day of our wedding so I could truly be present with all of our guests. She made sure the night was perfect for my husband and I, she made us feel so supported and cared for the entire day. Just as an example, we noticed the photobooth setup was not the one that we ordered and she instantly was like "no worries I got this," next thing I knew it they were changing out the photobooth and the transition was seamless. She even sent us over 50 photos and videos from the evening, moments I didn't even know were captured :) I can't recommend having a day of coordinator enough, even for a type A person like me, and Christina was exactly who we needed to be there for us!
From the moment we first reached out to To The Nines, we knew Christina would be the perfect wedding planner. She is so personable, warm, and always willing to hop on a quick phone call. Her organization skills are unparalleled and I loved her many spreadsheets! Covid derailed our original wedding but Christina stepped up and made sure our rescheduled wedding was everything we wanted it to be. While Christina wasn’t able to be with us on our wedding day, her 3 associates - Dania, Olivia, and Brittney took over and executed our plans to perfection. You will not go wrong hiding To The Nines for your wedding.
As a venue and catering manager at Lacuna Lofts, we often advise our couples to work with a wedding planners to help guide the couple through the planning process and be there for them through the ups & downs that can arise from it. Well, this is certainly a time of need for our couples and Christina, from To The Nines Events, has been so amazing to work with and help guide one of our couples during this COVID-19 pandemic. I highly recommend working with her for Wedding Planning. She is one of the best!
Do you want to feel MORE stressed on your wedding day? Do you want to hire someone who shows up late to both your wedding rehearsal and wedding day and then loudly makes the event about herself? Do you want to pay someone to show up to your event just so she can network for company? Then look no further... and hire Christina! Hiring Christina is the one regret we have for our special day. It was such a waste of money and caused extra stress that was unnecessary. Luckily, both my husband and I are very organized and had planned ahead and also had an amazing photographer that took over the role of Wedding Planner, but we wished we had that money back. No matter how many phone calls we held with her or detailed information we provided, she did the bare minimum and argued with our wedding party when they requested she perform these duties.
She was unqualified to call out cues to our musicians and wedding party during the ceremony. We specifically requested that our band doesn't eat until after the guests have dinner as they were hired to play during dinner only. Christina instead goes up to them during dinner and tells them to go eat. When we asked her to correct this, she argued with us and our Maid of Honor had to handle the matter with the band. One of the main reasons we hired Christina was to pack up and organize any remaining centerpieces, leftover desserts, decorations, etc. into a truck at the end of the night. When this time came, she had already left the event and never did ANY of this. My friends and family had to help us do this. So to recap, never ever hire To The Nines Events nor Christina unless you want to pay for a migraine!
The best decision made regarding our wedding, besides of course, who I was marrying, was hands down our “day-of” wedding planner. The reason I put “day-of” in quotations is because Christina was MUCH more than that. Within the first 5 mins of meeting Christina, there wasn’t a doubt in my mind that this was our wedding planner. She is everything a bride needs and more: calming, friendly, passionate, personable, very determined, & hardworking. But if I had to pick one word to describe her, it would be organized. She worked so hard as if she was planning her own wedding – she was available as much as I needed. To help answer all of my questions, to reach out to all my vendors, to organize & make sure everyone was on the same page and everyone knew what they should be doing. My husband and I hired Christina to be our “day-of” wedding planner because we needed someone on our big day to direct and organize our vendors. It wasn’t until I met her when I learned that she is much more than a day-of wedding planner. She was always letting us know that we can always reach out to her at anytime for literally for anything. She really starts working with 2 months out from your wedding date. She sets you up with a google docs where most of your info is kept which is so cool because all your documents are located in one central place. She has her own personal planning docs, but also uploads all your wedding contracts / important docs. She has amazing & very organized docs to help you plan. She sets up phone calls to go over everything about your wedding & really takes the time to learn your vision & then does everything she can to put the rest of your vision together. I think one of my fav parts about working with Christina (honestly so hard to pick just one) was how much she offered to help. I would email her about things that I was going to do – she would say No, I can do it! I’ve been talking about everything leading up to the big day – but the amount of stress Christina reduced for me the day-of was incredible. As a person, I am very type-A. Now add in being a bride, I wanted everything to be exactly how I pictured & perfect. There was every bit of trust that Christina could do this for me – we had talked so much about my vision & how I wanted things to go & look. The day of the wedding, all I had to do was show up & enjoy myself. I didn’t stress, but instead was able to relax / live in the moment because I knew that Christina was handling all the behind the scenes work. My big day was perfect & special in every single way. It was everything I had been dreaming of & more. I couldn’t have dreamt of a better day & it was all thanks to Christina. It wouldn’t have happened without her & I am truly grateful for her. She is every bride’s dream come true. I had this expectation of what a “day-of” wedding planner’s job was, but Christina surpassed that in every way. If you are considering a wedding planner, actually, even if you aren’t, Christina is worth it. She really is the BEST & goes above and beyond. You can tell that wedding planning truly is her passion and it means so much to her that every bride’s day is absolutely perfect. I will be recommending her to all!!!! I am so sad that my time spent with Christina has come to an end – I want more Christina in my life!!! Christina was the day-of-coordinator at a wedding I photographed last month, and she was so wonderful to work with! She sent detailed information to all of the vendors well ahead of the event and then printed out hard copies of timelines, family shot lists, etc. She was such a huge help on the day itself, and helped to keep the whole team moving in the same direction! I have nothing but good things to say!
Christina was absolutely amazing!!! We used her for a day of coordinator at our wedding and we are truly happy we did! Christina is so detailed and organized. She has the best tips to make your day perfect. She is so personable and went above and beyond for us. We highly recommend her!
Christina was the most helpful, organized, and positive part of my wedding experience! I hired her as our coordinator for our wedding in downtown Chicago. From the first phone screening I could tell she was on-top-of-it! We discussed detail after detail early on and she made solid recommendations to help me get started. When we officially started working together 2 months ahead of the big day it was so comforting to have her to bounce ideas off of and track down last minute items. I worked 60+ hours a week while wedding planning and Christina was extremely effective to make sure nothing was overlooked. She sent me notes from our discussions and guided me through outstanding details so I could quickly remember what we discussed. On the weekend of the wedding she was supportive and available to not only me and my vendors, but also helpful to our entire wedding party! She attended our rehearsal, took notes on details for our church ceremony, and helped at our rehearsal dinner - even setting up last minute music to set the right vibe for our dinner. The day of the wedding Christina arrived early, oversaw setup of our reception venue with all the vendors, and continually checked in with me while I was getting ready to make sure our wedding party was having fun and comfortable. Before we walked down the aisle she even provided us mints & kleenex! Following the wedding Christina helped clean up, packed up all our decorations and made sure nothing was lost. I received compliments about the wedding overall from family and friends, but also very specifically about how incredible Christina was from our parents, bridesmaids, and groomsmen. I cannot recommend her enough to brides. You will be so thankful you have her as a part of your big day!
To The Nines was critical in making our daughter & son-n-laws wedding day the best day ever. Christina started months before the wedding connecting with all the vendors and preparing the plan for all the logistics. This helped alleviate the stress and pressure from my daughter so that she could enjoy the anticipation of her wedding day. Christina was so organized, efficient, experienced and provided suggestions with such a calming personality. On the wedding day Christina executed all the plans and handled any curve balls with ease. I cannot say enough good things about working with Christina and her team at To The Nines Events! From our very first screening phone call, I knew that she'd be the perfect fit to coordinate our big day (and be someone I could be friends with outside of the planning process!). We chose The Big Day package, which for most coordinators strictly means being there the day of only - or for some, is only two months before the wedding. While the package states two months before, Christina was available via text, email, and phone calls to answer any and all questions that I had about the planning process from the moment we signed our contract. Two months out, Christina conducted every call with vendors and kept us involved each step of the way. She was also able to provide recommendations on vendors that she knew would be the best fit for our personalities, like DJs who weren't too chatty and would be able to create the exact vibe we were looking for. The day of, Christina was professional, discrete, attentive, and extremely organized. The week of, TTNs provided detailed (5-min increments!) timelines for bridal party, family, and vendors to utilize the day-of. She attended our ceremony rehearsal to make sure that there weren't any outstanding questions. She and her team helped our vendors in setting up our venue in the perfect way. She was there for us every minute of the day - making sure my husband and I had drinks on the dance floor and even helping to fluff my dress right before walking down the aisle. And now, she's there for us 3 weeks after wedding day to help us through thank yous and the dress preservation process. I know this is long, but Christina really did help us with creating the most special day and I couldn't recommend her more. Bonus - she's in both Detroit AND Chicago! Christina is truly the best of the best! She and I worked together for over a year in the careful planning of my dream wedding, and I can honestly say it would not have come together without her hard work, determination, patience, and EXPERIENCE. She literally had the answer to every single one of my questions - all hours of the day and night (which I was not expecting!!!). Christina is a true professional, and did not let a single detail in the planning of our rehearsal and wedding day go untouched. From the moment I found her on The Knot and we had our first conversation, I felt confident that I picked the right wedding planner. She dove into planning our event head-first. I have no idea how she was able to manage coordinating all our vendors, family, bridal party, reception setup, timeline management, and everything in between, and still managed to get a ton of behind the scenes photos and videos of our big day. Not only that, but she held the most amazing positive attitude and genuine warm spirit that seemed to come so natural to her -- you can tell she LOVES weddings, and it shows in her impeccable work product. Not only am I honored to have worked with her, but I am so grateful that I made a new friend. If I could go back and do it again 100x (and I wish I could!) I would pick Christina every time. I felt confident that I was in great hands, and I knew everything would be taken care of to exceed our expectations.
We hired Christina for day-of coordination but got so much more than we asked for! She helped coordinate all of the final detail calls with our vendors, helped follow up on any issues or outstanding items I was wondering about in the weeks leading up to the wedding. This was such a huge help because it allowed us to focus on work (already hard enough to do in the weeks leading up to the wedding), communicate any last minute stuff with friends and family, and other miscellaneous personal to-dos that we had. Once the actual day came, she helped ensure that everything went smoothly - even if something didn't go exactly as planned, we still don't know about it almost a month later because she must have handled it! From carrying around a polaroid to snap fun pics of us during the night, to bringing - and adding- ribbon to the guys' boutonneires when they showed up bare, to helping set up all of the candles and other items we gave her for decor, to helping with gathering all of it at the end of the night, she was truly one of the best decisions we made throughout the planning process. If you're wondering if hiring a coordinator just for the day of is worth it - IT IS SO WORTH IT!! Trust me, you do not want yourself, your mom, your mother-in-law, etc. worrying about setting things up, timing of the day, etc. - it is so nice being able to fully enjoy the day without worries!
Wonderful support and great at communication!! I am a Group Sales Manager at a Marriott hotel. I just finished a group block on a wedding and Christina, was the wedding planner. She was very organized and commutative with all vendors involved, and supporting each of us along the way. She made sure to check in on my staff members to make sure if they need anything. This the kind of person you want on your team to help keep the stress away.
Christina was a pleasure to work with! She went above and beyond, had a fix for any problem that came up and even checked in after the wedding and helped us address some issues with the venue. She is extremely personable and helped us feel at ease throughout the process.

While wedding planning, I'm sure people will tell you how 'all the little details' don't matter...but to the bride, they do! Christina understands this and went above and beyond all hopes and expectations to make sure that our wedding went perfectly! I started planning our Michigan wedding from Georgia and began getting (very) stressed out as the date drew near; one conversation with Christina and I instantly felt at ease. She has a talent for listening, calming brides and paying attention to every detail. We will never be able to thank her enough. Additionally, I received compliments from all of our vendors at what an absolute pleasure it was to work with her and how she kept the entire day flowing so nicely!

She went above and beyond for me, my groom, my parents, and even our extended family. We hired her as our month of coordinator and she completely handled all of the stressful coordination for my family and I the month leading up to our big day! She has a way of deciphering what it is that you want (but can’t quite pull together into words) and bringing it to life. Can not recommend her enough!

I can't say enough amazing things about Christina, Suzanne, and TTN as a whole. From day one, communication was so clear and timely, which is super important when wedding planning because it can get really stressful.
