Toast Weddings Chicago is a family-owned, complete wedding media company specializing in photo, film, and social content creation. We are committed to inclusivity and serve couples of all backgrounds in Chicago area and statewide.
Toast was founded by Zach & Callie, a husband and wife team.
Zach is a documentary cinematographer and producer known for the Sundance Grand Jury Prize winning documentary, The Price of Free, with another 5 documentaries premiering at Tribeca Film Festival.
Callie, in addition to being an experienced wedding and travel photographer, has collaborated with some of the most renowned photographers globally, editing photos for the covers of Vogue, Vanity Fair, Harper’s Bazaar, and more.
Since 2014, we've been honored to capture over 3,000 weddings for incredible couples, winning Couple’s Choice on Wedding Wire, Knot Hall of Fame and Knot Best of Weddings eight years in a row.
We pride ourselves on creating all of your wedding media as a collaboration, deeply valuing what matters most to you. We understand that we're not just capturing any event, we’re telling a love story that becomes a part of your family history, through multiple different mediums.
All aspects of your wedding media package (photo, film, and/or social content creation) are completely customizable. We encourage you to be as hands-on as you like, and we make it easy for you to help guide every aspect. Even after the first draft of your wedding film is delivered, you'll have complimentary rounds of edits to ensure your film is exactly what you envisioned.

They have so much to offer and we are so grateful for all of the work they’ve put in to immortalize our wedding! Our videos turned out beautifully. The camera work and editing were amazing. I used Toast for my wedding in October 2023, which was planned in just six months. From the start, they were incredibly responsive and made the entire process seamless. They provided a detailed questionnaire that helped me clearly lay out my expectations, and they absolutely nailed it. We got our teaser video super quick and it came at the perfect time to relive our special day again. The highlight video was perfect, capturing all the special moments beautifully. We were offered two revisions to the highlight video, but barely needed any edits—it was that well done. Overall, it was a fantastic experience working with this team. Highly recommend for any couple looking for an easy hassle-free and professional videography service for their wedding!

My husband and I had the BEST experience working with Toast. Our videographer really made sure to take the time to make us feel comfortable in front of the camera, and captured everything beautifully! The entire process from start to finish was so smooth, and hassle free. We watch our highlight film probably 3 times a day! Could not recommend using them enough!!!

We had a Chicago wedding in west loop approx 150 people, single site,, drones and maybe 8 hours of coverage.
Everything was as described when initially booking with no surprises (other than positives) - which is somewhat rare compared to many vendors.
Julianna and her team were responsive, flexible and professional throughout.
We personally are not artistically inclined - so having her team put together our videography was much appreciated. We are very happy with how our teaser, highlight film and documentary films turned out - that’s what the professionals are for!
We also found their pricing to be transparent and around the median compared to many. I especially appreciated the ability to obtain the full raw footage at a reasonable cost. While all films were available for download digitally, I imagine the raw footage is quite large so was only available on a physical USB.
I’d recommend this team to anyone looking to check videography off of their list.

The Toast team were great communicators getting all the logistics taken care of before the big day. We didn't get to chat with our actual videographer until he showed up to getting ready, but Molly and Tyler must've done some personality matching, because Name (our videographer) fit in like we invited him as a guest!! We haven't seen the footage yet, but before that, Toast deserves all the kudos for being an amazing working partner and giving ease to such an important part in our wedding experience.

It was great working with Toast! We were a little overwhelmed trying to figure out which vendor to go with and once we found Toast, it was a no-brainer. I was a little nervous about going with a large company, rather than an independent artist, but those fears were quickly assuaged. We were able to get incredible pricing along with a video that felt personal and special. Our videographer blended into the background while capturing gorgeous shots of the day. I'm so happy we found the perfect balance of all of our needs with Toast.

I would say we had a mediocre experience with Toast. I would advise to use a videographer you can choose vs. as service like Toast that matches you with a videographer you've never met. Things were lost in translation on the day, and I didn't get a lot of the shots I initially wanted. I also felt as though we had to change our plan for the videographer so he could get a list of "shots" vs. just capturing the natural flow of the day. The editing process was okay, other than it took a lot longer than I had initially thought it would.

I'm sorry we did not exceed your expectations as we always strive to do.
We work with a team approach and our Videographers are one member of your team as well as your Project Manager and Editing team. We always accommodate couple's meeting with their Videographer before the wedding if it is requested.
That said, after reviewing your project it does appear a few shots were missing during transition times for our videographer and I believe some of the issues here stemmed from us not setting expectations properly.
I'm glad in the end we were able to create films you are happy with and that we were able to work together through multiple revisions to get it right!

We really appreciated the ability to make edits to the final cut of our film so we could include moments that were extra special to us. Toast Wedding Films was great to work with! All our logistics before the wedding were handled by a customer/client representative, then about 3 weeks before our wedding we were alerted with who our videographer would be. It seemed like our videographer knew exactly all our details when he showed up to film. Tom, our videographer, was great the day of the wedding! He was there to capture all our defining moments of the wedding day, but didn't feel like he was in our face or overbearing. We can't wait to see the final product!!

We hired Toast Wedding Films for our wedding in November 2020 and they were absolutely amazing! From our first contact they were quick to reply, informative and always kept me updated with the process. Day of we had Ryan film our video and he was so kind, creative and always kept us laughing. When we got our final film back and watched it together for the first time we definitely shed a few tears again being able to see and relive the day all over! You are able to make edits to your video when you first see it, but it was so perfect we didn't feel we needed to edit it at all. Thank you so much for everything!!

I am so happy that I chose Toast Wedding Films to film my wedding! Through all of the COVID craziness, they were helpful, understanding, and willing to go along with whatever changes I needed! I believe I got the most bang for my buck while not compromising quality! I absolutely love my 60 second, 6 minute, and 1 hour films! They made it easy from start to finish!

Toast was incredible! Super easy to work with and they put out great quality of footage. Even in having to move our wedding date due to covid, they were more than willing to work with us without charging extra. Day of filming was seamless and the videographer worked very well with the photographer. However, the best part about booking with them was the opportunity to do edits to the films. We were able to totally change the theme of our video without any issues. 100% recommend booking them for your wedding!

We couldn’t recommend Toast more! We booked them right before all the virus craziness hit and it was the best decision. They worked with our budget to make sure we got what we needed and stayed in our budget. Then the day of we couldn’t have been more pleased with our videographer. We LOVED Caleb, he was great to work with and made sure to get the shots he wanted and made us feel comfortable. Our photographers also said he was a dream to work with! Wow, can't say enough great things about Toast and the video they produced for my wife and I. The video captured moments that you can't quite capture with just photos. Everything about the process was streamlined and easy which was important since there are so many things that needed our day to go smoothly. The videographer they sent was professional and accommodating without being intrusive to the event. I would recommend Toast to any couples that are interested having their big day captured on video. 5 Stars!
