Toast Weddings Virginia is a family-owned, complete wedding media company specializing in photo, film, and social content creation. We are committed to inclusivity and serve couples of all backgrounds in Richmond, Charlottesville, Roanoke, Hampton Roads, and the surrounding areas.
Toast was founded by Zach & Callie, a husband and wife team.
Zach is a documentary cinematographer and producer known for the Sundance Grand Jury Prize winning documentary, The Price of Free, with another 5 documentaries premiering at Tribeca Film Festival.
Callie, in addition to being an experienced wedding and travel photographer, has collaborated with some of the most renowned photographers globally, editing photos for the covers of Vogue, Vanity Fair, Harper’s Bazaar, and more.
Since 2014, we've been honored to capture over 3,000 weddings for incredible couples, winning Couple’s Choice on Wedding Wire, Knot Hall of Fame and Knot Best of Weddings eight years in a row.
We pride ourselves on creating all of your wedding media as a collaboration, deeply valuing what matters most to you. We understand that we're not just capturing any event, we’re telling a love story that becomes a part of your family history, through multiple different mediums.
All aspects of your wedding media package (photo, film, and/or social content creation) are completely customizable. We encourage you to be as hands-on as you like, and we make it easy for you to help guide every aspect. Even after the first draft of your wedding film is delivered, you'll have complimentary rounds of edits to ensure your film is exactly what you envisioned.

Toast Wedding Films provided us with beautiful wedding footage that we will absolutely cherish for years to come! Truthfully, we were considering not hiring a videographer due to the potential expense and also already having a photographer. However, I can without a doubt say we would have regretted this decision and are so grateful to have found Toast.
We felt extremely supported by the Toast team throughout our time working with them. Jonathan, our videographer, was very professional and had such a creative eye for shots that captured our love and the magic of the day. Even before the wedding, he helped us to find a package to our liking while also remaining within our budget. There are so many ways to customize your services, and we even ended up adding a few additional items in the leadup to the wedding. Julianna made that process a breeze and always promptly assisted us during this time and afterwards during edits.
Speaking of edits, the films themselves are absolutely gorgeous and didn't need any changes. Watching our highlight reel still brings tears to my eyes, and I want to show it to everyone I know! It was extremely well-crafted; it struck the perfect balance of light-hearted vs. sentimental, music vs. ceremony/speeches audio, footage of us as a couple vs. our loved ones, and it seamlessly incorporated all of the most important moments from our day. We also opted to get the Documentary Film complete with our ceremony, speeches, dances, and cake cutting. We had initially thought about purchasing the raw footage, which Toast does have as an option, but the Documentary Film was perfect for us. We were able to watch it for the first time with our family and relive the day all over again, and we plan to come back to it regularly in the future.
If you find yourself on the fence about getting a videographer like we were, I highly suggest that you hire Toast Wedding Films - you will be in wonderful hands and will be so happy that you did!
Toast films filmed my wedding in July, and it was a fantastic experience from beginning to end. Would highly recommend their work!

Toast Weddings was awesome to work with for our wedding! They were so on top of things, especially when it came to communication, which is SO important when planning a wedding! They helped us build a custom package of a documentary edit plus a short highlight film, and they worked with us to adjust the details each time we asked. They did all the edits and everything according to the timeline they initially outlined for us. Our videographer Jorge was awesome on the day of the wedding -- he got all the shots he needed without being in the way, and he was super professional. We're very happy with our final products :)

The team at Toast was wonderful. Patrick was the videographer for our wedding day and he was excellent. He seemed very intuitive with where to be and how to film in a way that caught the highlights without being too obvious about it. He was kind, professional, and had good insight on how to do things. Irene and Sharayah were the ones coordinating the calendar, edits, and file sharing. They were both helpful and knowledgeable. Sharayah was especially gracious in the editing and review stage of things. I was really pleased with the quality of the films they sent and the timelines for turnaround were quick. For the price and what they deliver, I don’t think you’d find anyone with better value. Highly recommend hiring this team. They really captured the spirit of the day and we are so thankful we have have video from the wedding. It all goes by so fast, it’s really nice reflect back and savor the memories

Hiring Toast Videography for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made!! They were so helpful and easy to work with, and Charlie was always available over the phone or email whenever we had questions. Danny, our videographer was amazing! We even had the option to have a drone capture amazing footage of our venue. We paid for a one minute trailer video, which we got back less than 3 weeks after our wedding, and it was phenomenal! We are so excited to see the full thing!

Toast was wonderful! We decided to hire a videographer a bit later in our planning process, and the staff at Toast made the planning process seamless for us. We appreciated that their packages were so customizable, and for such tremendous quality, you can't beat their prices! On the big day, our videographer was nothing but pleasant to work with. Our films came back exactly how we envisioned them to be, and we are so grateful! My husband and I highly recommend Toast if you are looking for the best videography!

After plenty of searching, I went with Toast Wedding Films on a gut feeling, and I’m so happy with my decision! Most vendors will claim to reduce the stress of wedding planning but can’t actually deliver. Toast definitely made my wedding easier. Our videographer truly was a fly on the wall and managed to confidently capture every part of our special day while adapting to weather and other changes throughout the day. He collaborated so well with the other vendors which made all the difference.Toast allows you a round of edits to your final product, but they did such a wonderful job that we didn’t make any adjustments! Their prices are honestly the icing on the cake. Thank you Toast for our beautiful wedding video!!

We had an excellent experience working with Toast Wedding Films! We had to reschedule our wedding twice due to the pandemic and they were wonderful and willing to work with us during a stressful situation. Julianne was very easy to communicate with and responded to emails quickly! The videographer captured beautiful footage of our wedding day and the film editing process was simple. Overall very pleased!

Toast was such an incredible company to work with. From our initial phone conversation to the 30 day prior questionnaire before the wedding I felt like every detail was covered and I never had to worry if they would be there. They were pleasant and efficient! Our videographer was Denver and he hit the nail on the head with the style and shots I asked for! We couldn’t be happier!!

We had a wonderful experience working with Toast Wedding Films. They filmed our wedding and did a fantastic job! Patrick was our videographer for the day of and was so awesome and easy to work with. You could tell he really knew his stuff and strove to get plenty of beautiful shots! While it took a while to receive our video, it was well worth the wait. We are so pleased with the final result and have enjoyed being able to share our day with friends and family who were not able to attend in person. Such a special memory we will treasure forever!

Julianna and the entire Toast team from the video artist to the editors and magic makers were phenomenal. Absolute world class service with detailed personalization, including drone footage of the city made our video a fantastic memory for years to come. TOAST is so easy to work with and their level of artistry is unparalleled. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed!
The Toast crew from Richmond, Virginia did the most amazing job in capturing our wedding day. From the moment they stepped in to the venue they made us feel extremley comfortable and we didn't feel like they were hovering on us with their cameras. They respected our space and while looking back at the footage they captured every significant moment that I could think of. They were also super easy to work with during the revision and edit of our 6 minute film which ended up being everything my wife and I wanted. I cannot reccomend Toast Wedding films enough.

Having a videographer was one of my top priorities for my wedding, and I looked at several when I first started planning. I found Toast through a Google search, and I fell in love with their videos. They were beautifully and professionally shot, and they pieced together beautiful stories that brought tears to my eyes. They were exactly what I was looking for, and they did not disappoint for my own wedding. The moments that they captured and the way they put them together are stunning. My husband and I have watched it over and over. It completely lets us relive that day and lets us see other special little parts that we missed, and that's exactly what we wanted. Other than having a beautiful product from our wedding, the team at Toast is fabulous. They were very easy to work with, had great communication, and delivered our video very quickly after wedding. Our videographer for our day was professional, didn't interfere at any point through the day, and blended well throughout. He made everyone involved in the wedding party very comfortable and didn't distract from any of our special moments at all. It was all very effortless. Overall, I couldn't be happier that we chose Toast Wedding Films for our wedding day. We have a gorgeous video that we will enjoy for years and years to come!
