Toast Weddings Northern California is a family-owned, complete wedding media company specializing in photo, film, and social content creation. We are committed to inclusivity and serve couples of all backgrounds in San Francisco, Napa, Sacramento, Sonoma County, Modesto, San Jose, and the surrounding areas.
Toast was founded by Zach & Callie, a husband and wife team.
Zach is a documentary cinematographer and producer known for the Sundance Grand Jury Prize winning documentary, The Price of Free, with another 5 documentaries premiering at Tribeca Film Festival.
Callie, in addition to being an experienced wedding and travel photographer, has collaborated with some of the most renowned photographers globally, editing photos for the covers of Vogue, Vanity Fair, Harper’s Bazaar, and more.
Since 2014, we've been honored to capture over 3,000 weddings for incredible couples, winning Couple’s Choice on Wedding Wire, Knot Hall of Fame and Knot Best of Weddings eight years in a row.
We pride ourselves on creating all of your wedding media as a collaboration, deeply valuing what matters most to you. We understand that we're not just capturing any event, we’re telling a love story that becomes a part of your family history, through multiple different mediums.
All aspects of your wedding media package (photo, film, and/or social content creation) are completely customizable. We encourage you to be as hands-on as you like, and we make it easy for you to help guide every aspect. Even after the first draft of your wedding film is delivered, you'll have complimentary rounds of edits to ensure your film is exactly what you envisioned.

My now husband and I found Toast through The Knot. We did some research and particularly, it was the price point that caught our eye and sealed the deal for us. We received an excellent deal for what we were looking for with our videographer. Our Toast coordinator was amazing, she kept in touch and was involved with our day of coordinator in getting everything taken care of. Our videographer, Raymond was very nice and enthusiastic about capturing as much as he could, especially with our unique venue. We have not received our final footage yet but we should receive it next month. Our sneak peak was beautiful and captured so many key moments of our special day and I cannot wait until we get the final video and our raw footage!

The final product exceeded our expectations in every way. The video is beautifully shot, expertly edited, and perfectly captures the emotions and joy of our wedding day. We were amazed by the attention to detail and the way they wove together the various moments and scenes to create a truly unforgettable film.

We had the best experience with toast. Gail communicated quickly and met all of our desires with flexibility. We had two videographers at our wedding who were absolutely amazing. They stayed in the background but were there for all of our big moments and if we needed anything throughout the day. My husband and I just celebrated our one year anniversary and we rewatched our highlight film, documentary edit, and raw footage which took us hours because of how much footage we received. I would definitely repurchase the whole package through toast again because of how detailed, intimate, and beautiful our videos were! We are so appreciative of everything they did for us and that we have our wedding day captured beautifully forever.
Props to the Toast team for crushing our wedding video! They captured all of the key moments from all of the right angles and did a fantastic job editing the videos for us as well. Great communication and great quality for a great price, doesn't get much better than that!
We worked with them for our wedding in August 2022. The wedding video turned out so beautifully and will be something we'll enjoy forever. They were very easy to work with, and very responsive to any edits we had to the video. The videographer on the wedding day was so nice, and got beautiful shots!
My partner and I were very impressed with Toast, throughout the entire wedding process. It was great that we could easily pick and choose parts of our package, and even add on up until AND after the wedding.
We had been nervous about using a national company and not meeting our videographer until the day of, but were thoroughly impressed with our videographer Jessica! Following the wedding, the editing process was very stress-less, and we are so happy with the final product!

Working with the Toast team was nothing short of amazing! From coordinating details and logistics with Charlie, to our day of videographer (Sabrina), to the video editors, it was all seamless. Everyone was extremely professional yet personable and a pleasure to work with. The process from start to finish was very well organized and we were extremely pleased with our video package! It came out really great and so much better than we had ever hoped for. When selecting a videographer, we liked the flexible package options Toast offered and ability to add a la carte services. The overall package was very affordable as compared to some other quotes we received for the same service. Unless you are planning to shoot a motion picture, go with Toast and you won’t regret it! Very very pleased and I wish I had more friends getting married in California so I can directly recommend them. Thank you for the amazing memory you created for us!
The end product was amazing. I loved the videographer that came to my wedding. He was so kind. He made all of my bridesmaids super comfortable and got along with all of the groomsmen too. He captured so many fun moments.
The only reason I did not give five stars is because Toast wedding films is made up of a conglomeration of videographers. My issue with this was that I didn't know anything about my videographer until he showed up to my wedding. This meant that I couldn't see examples of his work which made me a little nervous.
Since I got married during COVID there were some strange occurrences such as the original videographer assigned to my wedding backing out 2 weeks before. I was very stressed out because of the possibility of not having a videographer, but I was grateful for the transparency of the manager.
Again, I loved the product and overall experience. Just know that you will not know your personal videographer until just before your wedding.
We loved working with Toast for our wedding video! The final product was beautiful and perfectly captured our day! We received a beautifully edited highlight video, full footage of the ceremony and highlight of the reception. Additionally, my parents ordered us all of the raw footage as our wedding gift. Toast was very easy to communicate with for both my parents and myself! They paid great attention to detail and made sure that the videos reflected the image and mood we wanted to remember. I would highly recommend Toast to other couples!
