Toast Weddings Syracuse is a family-owned, complete wedding media company specializing in photo, film, and social content creation. We are committed to inclusivity and serve couples of all backgrounds in Syracuse, Binghamton, Elmira, Utica and statewide in New York.
Toast was founded by Zach & Callie, a husband and wife team.
Zach is a documentary cinematographer and producer known for the Sundance Grand Jury Prize winning documentary, The Price of Free, with another 5 documentaries premiering at Tribeca Film Festival.
Callie, in addition to being an experienced wedding and travel photographer, has collaborated with some of the most renowned photographers globally, editing photos for the covers of Vogue, Vanity Fair, Harper’s Bazaar, and more.
Since 2014, we've been honored to capture over 3,000 weddings for incredible couples, winning Couple’s Choice on Wedding Wire, Knot Hall of Fame and Knot Best of Weddings eight years in a row.
We pride ourselves on creating all of your wedding media as a collaboration, deeply valuing what matters most to you. We understand that we're not just capturing any event, we’re telling a love story that becomes a part of your family history, through multiple different mediums.
All aspects of your wedding media package (photo, film, and/or social content creation) are completely customizable. We encourage you to be as hands-on as you like, and we make it easy for you to help guide every aspect. Even after the first draft of your wedding film is delivered, you'll have complimentary rounds of edits to ensure your film is exactly what you envisioned.

As the groom, I cannot express enough how thrilled my wife and I were with Toast as our wedding film vendor. From the very first interaction, they were incredibly professional, warm, and most importantly, attentive to our vision.
Toast was exceptional in every way. They worked closely with us to understand exactly what we wanted from our wedding film, and they delivered beyond our expectations. Their ability to capture not only the big moments but also the subtle, emotional ones was truly impressive. Watching our wedding film felt like reliving the day, and it brought tears to both of our eyes (and that’s saying a lot for me!).

Toast created a great highlight film for us and I am glad we utilized their services! The day of camera man captured great content, but came off a bit to controlling over the assistant photographer (from another vendor). They took our feedback seriously and put quality effort into the video edits. Just make sure to give them your feedback right away to stay on their radar. Toast was fabulous for our wedding in upstate NY in July of 2024! Even before our day, the people at Toast were on top of communication and were very flexible when making our timeline and editing it. The highlight film we received was so perfect we did not ask for any of the edits that were included. We absolutely loved working with Toast. Our wedding videos (documentary edit and highlight film) covered everything we could have wanted. They're reasonably priced, professional, and incredible easy to work with. They give you a small business support with the appearance and professionalism of a huge corporation. Having influence on the highlight film editing was a huge plus, and they followed what we asked for down to every last detail. Great quality, easy to download and share. Not to mention our videographer himself -- he arrived on time and was very pleasant throughout the day :) Thank you, Toast! Couldn't recommend highly enough to have a nice keepsake from your wedding day that doesn't break the bank!!

From the very first phone call, we felt confident that Toast Wedding Films was the videographer for us! The communication was always clear, they were always on time, and they always wanted to make sure we got what we wanted. David, our videographer, was awesome to work with! He had great ideas and an eye for what shot looks the best in the space we had. We got our teaser film, our highlight film, and documentary edit all on time. I always knew I wanted a videographer. I understood it was a big cost and we already had a photographer, but I pleaded with my husband and explained that there is nothing like also having those "moving images" to really capture great moments in the day. I am so glad we can go back and watch our wedding day whenever we want! I had a hard time deciding on a videographer. Some local small businesses were also options, but I also compared costs, and what stood out the most was the hospitality, kindness, and the offerings Toast had. My very first phone call made me feel very comfortable and excited. There was no pressure. I learned a lot about Toast and what they offer in their packages. The customer service team who helped me leading up to the wedding was great, the videographer Daniil did a great job being a "fly on the wall" to not interfere, and he captured beautiful footage. Thank you so much also to Julianna for being so accommodating and for putting up with all my emails, questions, and highlight film edit requests. Thank you to the editing team for your hard work on our footage. We are putting the final touches on our highlight film, but from what I saw already, I am extremely happy with the outcome. The videos take a while to come in (it was a couple of months), but it is worth the wait. The video editors take a great deal of effort and care in their craft.

We needed a videographer for our August wedding on short notice due to our other videographer not being able to do the services at the last minute. Toast was extremely helpful and accommodating to our schedule and needs. At the end of the day, they produced an amazing teaser video and documentary. We did not know what to expect but they blew us away. We recommend them 100%.

Toast Wedding Films exceeded any expectations I had. I LOVE how our video came out. They made the process effortless & are so worth the money! 5 stars!!
I was really hesitant about having a wedding video done, knowing it would add a couple extra thousand to my overall budget. After a lot of consideration, I ended up committing and I am SO glad I got a wedding video done--especially with Toast Wedding Films.
I ended up liking the video even more than my photos. The video captures so much more than pictures can: the smiles, the tone of the vows, the sentimentality of the speeches. Plus, I get to feel like a movie star whenever I watch it again ;)

I had a hard time deciding to spend the money on a videographer but after seeing my final product I would 100% recommend choosing to work with Toast Wedding Films. Toast Wedding Films was great throughout the entire planning process. They paid close attention to our preferences and delivered an amazing product. Unfortunately, our videographer tested positive a day before our wedding but they were quick to find amazing substitutes. I never felt stressed with any portion of the process with Toast Films because I knew we were in good hands!

Toast was outstanding! The wedding film that was produced came out even better than I could have hoped for! Aside from the amazing end result, even from the beginning, their team was responsive, patient, beyond kind, and unequivocally professional. Working with Zachary was great! He was very prompt in responding to me. Although we didn't get to meet Jason before the wedding day, he obviously did a fantastic job. He captured moments that we never got to see and so many things that made us laugh and cry! I asked Jason to get some shots around Bloomington's campus for us and he picked perfect spots. He captured all the best parts of our day. Chris, who did the editing also did amazing job. Wonderful transitions and overlapping of sound and imaging. I would highly recommend Toast Wedding Films. It is a little expensive, but everyone that has watched our video said it was the best wedding video they had ever seen. Definitely worth the cost.
