The Tom Quick's banquet hall is beautiful along with all of its sister properties- it made for a great setting for a small town wedding. We also used Milford Hospitality Group for ...our rehearsal dinner/welcome event and it was fantastic (Forest Hall Studios). The events coordinator we booked with left the company 8 months before our wedding and no one told us until we questioned why we couldn't get in touch with her, so this made for a rocky transition to the new coordinator. Weddings are a newer/less frequent part of this company, so they are not able to cater to you as a wedding couple the way a traditional venue might, responsiveness is slow, and they will not be able to make exceptions that don't apply to non-wedding events. For example, the hotel room block rules are extremely strict and do not follow typical group rate/block formula. I would not recommend doing a room block with them but encourage guests to stay at these properties as they are lovely but pricey. They could not guarantee use of neighboring hotel fauchere garden because a non-wedding event could be booked there even though they can only book one wedding per weekend. Staff-wise there is no way they could be stretched any further to host a non-wedding event the same weekend as a wedding. Couple small things to note- dinner service was slow (again staff related I think) and bar capabilities were somewhat limited. The room felt just right for our 110 person wedding (with live band) and any more than that would have felt cramped. Food and cake was absolutely delicious! Huge plus that catering and cake are included with this venue. We enjoyed our day and got plenty of compliments. I believe as the company and Keighla get more experience with weddings, things will run smoother. Good luck!
