I would definitely recommend Natasha to be the caterer at a wedding or other events. She did such a awesome job and the food was delicious.
Natasha and her team were absolutely amazing. They went ABOVE and BEYOND with their services. You really get your money’s worth...actually even more than it! She and her team prices themselves in satisfying their clients and man they sure did! Our guests loved the food and were thrilled that the wedding “food” actually had flavor! The Mac n’ cheese was a show stopper!!!
My experience with TBTBS was absolutely amazing! The food was delicious, and the decor was gorgeous. The owner Natasha, and her assistant Ashley were very hospitable and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire wedding planning process. TBTBS has an open line of communication so you will never have to worry about anything. Also, they have options for every budget.
We had TBTBS cater our daytime wedding so we went with a brunch buffet. They have a wide variety of options and we were able to add or remove items as we chose. Natasha is so friendly as well as knowledgeable and we felt confident that the food would be wonderful that day, and it was. Everyone raved about the waffles and the shrimp and grits! We were also provided with food immediately after ceremony as well as during pictures so we did not go hungry. Overall very professional, affordable, and delicious. If I had to do it again I would choose TBTBS in a heartbeat!
I discovered Too Blessed to Be Stressed, run by Natasha, at a wedding expo – Other vendors were recommending her, saying she was great to work with and her food was amazing. I’m glad we chose TBTBS - Natasha and crew were amazing from the very beginning of our planning process. She asked great questions to help us figure out exactly what kind of ceremony and reception we wanted, and helped keep us organized all throughout the process. She has so much experience with event planning & connections to other vendors, and is awesome to work with.
Bad weather was predicted to hit on the same day of our wedding, and Natasha and crew were able to more the ceremony inside. Even with this and other last minute changes, everything was amazing, with details both big and small taken care of. On the day of, it great to know that with all the other things surrounding the wedding, I didn’t have to worry about the catering or the day of coordination, and was able to just stay in the moment and enjoy the wedding day. TBTBS really lived up to their name. Family and friends both told me after that they had wonderful time and that they enjoyed their food. I would highly recommend TBTBS for your wedding or any other event that you need done professionally and with personal care!
After searching for so long to find a caterer that would even come remotely to our budget, finding Natasha was a miracle. Natasha was very professional and organized, and her food was delicious. We didn't even bother trying to find other caterers after going to her tasting because we knew this was it. Her staff was professional, and everyone raved about how good the food was at our wedding.
My only critiques are:
1) We also booked with Natasha given the fact that she mentioned to us that she usually had a lot of leftovers. This was important to me because I know my family can eat, & so I even bought to-go boxes to account for this, to which Natasha said was fine. On top of that, since we were doing a buffet style, the price is dependent on the number of guests. The lowest tier was supposed to feed up to 100 people; w/ our estimated guests being over the 100 person range, we had to pay a bit more to go up to the next tier (which was supposed to feed 120 people). During the last week of the wedding, we had a lot of people drop out, but I chose to keep it at that tier since I figured it would be too late to make any changes. On the day of the wedding, we only ended up with 96 guests. But we barely had any leftovers left! Mind you, this tier was supposed to feed up to 120 guests, so had I chosen the tier for 100 people, I'm afraid we would've ran out of food. Also, mind you, the servers gave out the portions, not our guests.
2) On the day of the wedding, instead of the cake table being the navy satin we had discussed, she had made some changes and made it ivory instead. I was fine with this decision because our cake table was standing right next to our navy sweetheart table, so it might have been too much navy, but if you are someone who wants everything done your way, you have to make it clear, or it might get changed.
Overall, I could not have asked for a better catering team. Everything was delicious, and I want some of that food again!
Natasha's customer service is above and beyond. She's accommodated all of our requests and questions gracefully and super patiently. Although her design aesthetic isn't exactly our style, she made her staff available to set up much of the decor at the wedding. She also accommodated our nontraditional menu and was great with brainstorming ideas about the flow of the reception and cocktail hour. Her food was yummy, especially the chicken and waffles.
I loved the food and the service. The food was hot and my guests enjoyed it.
We used TBTBS for catering for 230 people at Newton White Mansion. Natasha was amazing, period. She responded to every email typically within 30 minutes and went out of her way to make sure we were on the same page. The food was great, we had buffet style of chicken marsala and salmon and all the guests raved about the quality of the food as well as the courteous and respectful servers. Her staff took care of the ceremony set up, break down, and reception set up/clean up (as the ceremony and reception were in the same room), flawlessly and within the cocktail hour time. The centerpiece/table arrangement that we had agreed on pre-wedding turned out just like we discussed. Clean up was thorough and we got our deposits back :)
Beyond service and professionalism, Natasha worked to maximize our budget best as possible and we were able to spend couple thousand dollars less than expected! We had set up including, chairs, linens, flatware/plates, the cocktail hour, buffet reception, bartenders, cake and cake service, champagne service, and clean up included in our contract.
I could not have been happier with the service and quality of catering from TBTBS and would definitely recommend anyone getting married in the DC/MD/VA area to check them out.
