Based in Mansfield, MA Topaz Wedding and Event Services is a wedding band that performs in and around Boston. This high-energy, six-piece dance band prides themselves on creating a spectacular night of music and dancing that your guests will remember for years to come. With flexible lineups that can include a full horn section, they guarantee a show-stopping reception that is tailored to suit your tastes and preferences. The musicians with Topaz Wedding and Event Services have more than three decades of experience playing at corporate events and weddings. These gifted performers are influenced by the culture and community of the Boston area and know hits from a variety of genres and decades. Whether you’re looking for Motown classics or Top 40 favorites, this ensemble has you covered. For your convenience, Topaz Wedding and Event Services offers consultations and showcases so that you can decide if they are the right fit for you. These private concerts will provide you with the opportunity to get to know the band members and articulate your vision. Packages include ceremony and reception music, MC services throughout the night, a DJ, and a cocktail hour trio. You can also add a saxophone player, lighting production, videography and photography services, and even an Irish music duo for a truly unique experience.

so engaging!! We requested a saxophone player with our package and Nelson absolutely blew the roof off our wedding! He was running out into the crowd and the guitarist was playing the guitar behind his head. They were SO good and everyone loved their engagement.
We worked with Matt during the planning process and it was the easiest part of planning our day. He was informative, accommodating and reliable. He promised us that this would be a one of a kind type of night and he was right.
Kelly, their lead vocalist was also the point person for our introductions and she was right on point with making sure everything moved quickly and efficiently.

The older crowd was thrilled to hear some timeless classics and the band really set a positive mood right off the bat. Matt was so incredible to work with. He was easily available by phone any time we called. He made us feel comfortable and confident from the moment we first talked. The best part is he backed up ever single thing he said he would do! We didn’t have to worry about a thing. The band is SOO talented and energetic! The sax player was running through the crowd the guitarist was playing the guitar over his head and we have gotten nothing but great comments about their performance. When the dance sets really started to take off, Topaz played classic hits and current hits that really made my fiancée and I, as well as our guests super happy. budget reasons, but we are SO glad that we made this choice! The dance floor was packed, and the band sounded great! On top of that, the entire planning process was made so simple and easy. Matt was incredible at navigating a weird venue structure and made us confident that they would take care of everything! We were even planning this from out-of-town, and Matt was extremely accommodating! Come the day of the wedding, and the band really surpassed anything we could have expected or hoped for! They got there super early to scope out the venue, they helped perform a sound check to make sure that my relatives who played our first dance song felt comfortable and they also took care of all of the sound stuff for the ceremony as well. And then, as they were setting up their own equipment, they even lent their height to hanging some particularly tall decorations (a service that they might not have bargained for). This leads to my last point, in addition to being incredible musicians, exceptionally well-organized and diligent planners, Topaz was one of the kindest vendors we worked with. They were always friendly, courteous, and willing to brainstorm with us on whatever crazy idea we had. I would 110% recommend this band to any couple wanting an incredible, friendly, amazing band for their affair! They were phenomenal!

Their energy is contagious, our dance floor was packed for the entire night which is exactly what we hoped for. We then went to see Topaz live at a public venue this summer and we were able to see how amazing they are as entertainers. They drew the crowd in and the dance floor was packed all night. They played everything from Motown, 80s classics, 90s/00s hits to today country and pop hits! They are fantastic! My husband and I are so glad we chose them to perform at our wedding! nd at a reasonable price and a band that would take all my ridiculous requests, just like a DJ would. Was it more money than a DJ? Yeah, a little bit but let me tell you… spend the extra money!!! Matt and the band were so easy to work with and so flexible! We went from having a 170 person guest list to a small 55 person backyard wedding and I can tell you, all 55 of us were dancing all night long! They absolutely ROCKED! We all have extensive backgrounds in the music industry and many of us attended Berklee College of Music to pursue our love for music!
