e that seriously. We met with Ceasar early on in our DJ search, and he was very nice and professional and even gave us a great presentation of his services. We were very transparent with him about meeting with other vendors before making a decision, and reached back out to him in the new year to move forward with booking. We met with him one last time before signing the contract because we had additional questions we wanted clarity on, and wanted to inquire about adding a black-and-white photo booth. We showed him the style we were going for; classic black-and-white 4x6 photo prints with our wedding logo on the corner of the picture. We didn't want any props offered to guests and we wanted a white background for the pictures. Ceasar told us they could absolutely do that so we added that cost. After signing the contract and paying the deposit, access to Ceasar definitely became more limited. Eventually, we got in contact with him so he could introduce us to Joey and Omar, our MC and DJ duo. They were very nice, but unfortunately, not very well prepared for our initial meeting. We thought we would help them out by creating a document with everything they would need for the day of the wedding, specifically all of the “big” songs we were using for our entrances, and the announcements we would want them to make. We also inputted the songs into the online platform they use internally as well. We shared the dinner and reception playlists we made, and confirmed the details for the photo booth to make sure everyone was on the same page; they even sent us a sample photo booth picture in color to show us how our wedding logo would look on it, which we flagged and said needed to be in black-and-white. On the day of the wedding, nothing went as planned. My husband had specifically asked them to play the intro to “Trophies” by Drake for the groomsmen entrance because he loved the trumpet solo. We told Joey and Omar that they could choose the parts of the songs they wanted to play for all the other entrances, but this one had to be played from the beginning. They didn’t end up playing it from the beginning and our groomsmen were confused as they walked out because they had practiced their entrance with the trumpet intro. We could’ve completely overlooked this incident, but then we saw that they started to play the reception music during dinner, specifically the Colombian songs my family had requested we play for them to dance. They apologized for the confusion and tried to correct it, but then we noticed that the photo booth pictures were being printed only in color, the background was a sequined silver, and the photo booth attendant had a bunch of props she was encouraging our guests to use even when they said they didn’t want to. After the wedding, we called Ceasar and asked about the photo booth situation, and he said he would send us all of the pictures in black-and-white so we could share them with our guests. It’s been three weeks since then and I doubt I’ll ever get those pictures. Although Joey and Omar were very nice, they were incompetent at following directions, and business is business and we know we have to provide an honest review. To future couples: if your gut is telling you they’re not the one for you, then they’re not the one for you.

After booking and throughout the planning there were red flags we should have noted. Every single time we scheduled an appointment with them to review timelines and our music choices they either no showed or were 15-30 minutes late. During each meeting that included the MC, Omar, he was either driving or at “his store” and obviously preoccupied. Omar repeatedly emphasized his love for house music and my husband and I clarified we did not want that our wedding and wanted a mix of 80s classic wedding music and some Latin and Ecuadorean music as well and reminded him this was reflected in our “must play s” playlist. None the less we had booked them and did not want to stress about finding someone else. Our booking included complimentary music during the cocktail hour so we spoke with our venue coordinator and didn’t plan for this with them as again, it was to be arranged by our DJ. The day of our wedding we were half way through cocktail hour and found out the DJ had not yet arrived. Our venue coordinator was able to substitute something for the cocktail hour and when we went in to the reception area around 20 minutes before our grand entrance was supposed to start, we saw them arriving and starting to set up. Needless to say our reception started late. Overall we were greatly disappointed in the music and energy brought by the DJ and especially the MC Omar that evening. They played only around 30% of what was on our must play list and we missed out on a lot of the dances and music we had envisioned for that evening. After our first dances of course the evening began with some house music and odd comments/“MCing” from Omar. My husband and I spoke to Omar reiterating we did not want house music and requesting less “MCing” from him. What was more disheartening and mortifying were Omar’s comments throughout the night. At one point a large group of my husband’s family had gone over to the bar and the DJ began playing the song “Shots” by LMFAO (not on our must play list) with Omar calling out multiple times to “all the alcoholics at the bar”. I was embarrassed and shocked at how unprofessional and inappropriate he was. Throughout the night he continued making these comments including saying my Filipino husband was “looking like an Animé character” and pointing out and laughing at my special needs cousin who was dancing pointing at him and saying “what is the guy doing?”. It was really disappointing and embarrassing to have this be the entertainment our guests remembered. I highly suggest you stay far away from this vendor and if you’ve already booked do whatever you can to get your money back and find someone else. If you absolutely cannot book someone else, please make sure you do not have Omar as your MC.

e wedding. Their web portal is easy to use and makes adding/removing songs you want to play and don't want to play quick and simple. We had an interesting taste in music as we had a lot of 90s/00s dance/techno songs, making it look more like a list for a Euro dance club than a wedding. They played every single song we requested, which was another of our concerns hearing previous couples' stories about their DJs "losing" the song requests or playing items they told them not to. Total DJs took account of what we wanted and made sure it was played. Omar was an incredible MC, making sure all our friends and family were on their feet dancing (which they were) and having a great time. Kevin (DJ) was awesome playing songs, listening to requests, keeping the party going. I will warn you, do some cardio in the leadup to your wedding. We were raging and dancing with our guests for the full reception timeframe, and just when you thought you'd have a minute to catch your breath... another banger came on. They were so good that one of the groomsmen and his fiancé asked for their business card for their wedding. It's been a month since we got married and our friends and family are still telling us how good of a time they had dancing and singing to all the songs.

Omar was amazing at keeping the party going and making sure that everyone was having fun. The DJ did an awesome job at playing the right music at the right time. We had an Irish-Latino wedding and he played music that EVERYONE loved and enjoyed.....Everyone was talking about how your team kept us on the floor the entire night! Two days later and people are still talking about their feet hurting from dancing all night. The dancing on the clouds special effect was something that EVERYONE was talking about. The photobooth was a great touch where people were able to bring home a nice memory! Lauren, Max and Mike were absolutely fantastic to work with! They worked phenomenally together and were able to manage a rowdy group flawlessly. They truly went above and beyond to capture the little moments that I know my husband and I will treasure forever. Thank you again for all of your help- I look forward to working with you and total djs music productions again in the future for other events!

ed out of the night. We had Nick & Brianna play acoustically for our ceremony and cocktail hour. They did a beautiful job and everyone raved what a phenomenal performance they put on. We also had a live percussionist during the reception, which was a huge lift during all the Spanish dancing we did! It was a great mix of our favorite 80’s, 90’s and some spiciness in between. We chose to have an extra photographer that took shots they put up on the screens all night, dancing on the clouds and giant sparklers!!! They also did our up lighting which changed the whole space and the photo booth! I can’t say enough good things about Total DJ’s and 100% recommend them to everyone!

music was completely perfect, i cannot tell you how many people were ranting and raving about how awesome the music was and the added touch of the first dance on the clouds, the specialized monogram, the TV screens playing pictures of my husband and i growing up while we danced with our parents and us dating while we did our first dance were second to none! Thank you so much for making our day so absolutely perfect and we cant wait to see all our amazing photos and video!

've been stupid mistakes completely unrelated to the DJ aspect of the wedding. Extremely grateful for Ceaser and all of the Total Dj's crew, they helped me get through the stresses of the wedding by working with me every step of the way. I highly recommend these guys for all events.

The DJ himself didn’t have it easy considering he had to play greek, Italian and English music. Of course he killed it and everyone loved it! Once we cut the cake, Ceasar floored it and never looked back. ands.I was very nervous about keeping 16 year olds engaged and on the dance floor but Cesar insured me that him and his team are pros at that. He guided me through the process of coordinating the sweet 16 events and added elements I did not even think of. David was our DJ and was exactly the perfect fit for the event. He arrived on time and set up quickly.He kept the flow of the party going exactly as we went over.Everyone at the party was on the dance floor and had an amazing time!Photobooth was also a great add on teens and adults had a blast. Good quality prints and fast turnaround on the digital copies
