We paid over $730 for this place to screw up our wedding. We rented two 10 ft x 20 ft tents, some tables, and some folding chairs for our front yard. We scheduled delivery for the day before our wedding at 2:00 p.m. We have the invoice reflecting that date and time. The day before the wedding, it hit 5:00 p.m. and we realized among the bustle of setting up the inside of our house that we had not heard from the delivery people yet. I called the rental center at that point and was put on hold for a very long time. The call eventually disconnected. When I called back I was eventually transferred over to the proper person. She informed me that we were not scheduled for delivery until the following day at 2:00 p.m.
I was trying not to lose my cool at that point and calmly explained to her that our wedding was beginning the next day at noon and that we had scheduled our delivery for three hours ago. I asked her if I should come in there with the invoice reflecting our delivery date and time. She responded that it wouldn't do any good and that we would not be getting our delivery until the next day at 2:00 p.m. I told her again that our wedding was starting at noon the next day and that wouldn't work. Her response was to tell me that they were closing in 40 minutes, and she asked what I wanted her to do about it in a very rude tone of voice. I hung up the phone at that point to avoid freaking out, and I had my fiance call her back.
In the time it took him to call her back, this rude employee had already been doing damage control with her manager in an attempt to cover up the obvious mistake that had been made on their part. She tried to convince my fiance that they had called us earlier in the week and confirmed delivery for the day of our wedding, 2 hours after our wedding was scheduled to start. We both looked at our phone logs just to be sure that they had not called either one of us, and we certainly would not have confirmed a delivery time for 2 hours after our wedding would have started. This was an obvious and blatant lie on their part.
My fiance eventually worked it out so that we could have our equipment delivered at 7:30 a.m. the following morning, less than 5 hours before our wedding was scheduled to start. The next morning, the delivery people did not show up until 7:45 a.m. It took them nearly three hours to set up the two tents, leaving us with an hour and a half to decorate and set the tables. Luckily, we had mobilized some of our friends and family to decorate inside the tents and set up the tables for us.
When the delivery drivers came back on the next business day to retrieve their equipment, they again arrived 15 minutes late. They also left our lawn littered with cut zip ties, disposable coffee cups, and cigarette butts. Despite all of the turmoil they put us through, the rude behavior of their employees, and the outrageous lie from the manager, this company has made no offers of a partial refund or any sort of compensation to make amends for their horrible business practices. If you are planning on using this business for any sort of special event or occasion, do yourself a favor and stay away.
Everything went smooth and was great to get everything we would need from the rentals.
Our venue supplied tables and chairs but only for seating 50 people. We knew our number or guests would be slightly over that so we rented some additional tables and chairs. I had rented from TRC in the past for an anniversary party and was pleased with the service I got so I decided to use them again. We didn't decided to rent the tables and chairs until 2 days before our wedding. TRC was amazing and accommodating for us and our short notice.
We had rented additional chairs and tables for our venue. Less than two weeks before the wedding, TOTAL Rentals Center called us and said that they had a booking error and would not be able to fulfill our order. When we went in to speak to the manager to find out what happened, they told us that their computer made a mistake. They had found out about the mistake 4 weeks before they called us. When I asked if there was anything he could do, he said that he couldn't and that we were out of luck. There was no compassion, no desire to make anything right, and no effort to give us any help. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!
I booked for tables and chairs with Total and their computer wasn't working right and allowed over booking. I got the call that they didn't have the items for me 2 weeks before my wedding. I was in a panic and they didn't want to work with me nor cared that I wasn't happy about the service. They were not helpful at all. We ended up going with ABC rentals which had better service and better prices.
This company was helpful and their website is easy to use. We got 40 tables and tablecloths and 200 chairs for 1,000 bucks. Not sure if it's the best price around but it wasn't too bad. The only problem was that no one called to tell me that we had to pay ahead of time so that the rental center would deliver our items. I am glad that I called the day before to make sure everything was set and that they told me so I could pay them.
