Tower Club has really stepped up their service and professionalism. Working with Staci Chambers and team was a great experience. The food was excellent and our event ran smoothly thanks to the staff. Would highly recommend!
This ClubCorp that runs Tower Club- DALLAS is totally unethical in how they handle stopping their membership charges. Early in 2018 I joined a marketing group that met in the tower club so I joined the tower club to join this marketing group. I left the marketing group due to hospitalization. I called tower club to cancel my membership they did and stopped payment on my credit card. Fast forward to oct of 2019. They sent a $843 to collections for fees from back when I cancelled to now. I called GLORIA REYES at TOWER CLUB DALLAS and she said there is nothing they can do since I didn't send in a written signed notice of cancellation. They don't honor phone call cancellations. Not sure how a company can make up monthly charges for a product you don't use, then say "hey you owe us a bunch of money" years later. I live an hour away from there, and why didn't they just keep letting the bill add up? Something definitely not right about how they do business, please be aware of their unethical ways of charging you for something you never used.
The Tower Club venue itself is a beautiful place and has marvelous views from the 48th floor. The food is very good and our guests had a wonderful time. However, if you decide to have an event here, please know that we found the planning and communication with the coordinator and building very difficult during the months leading up to the event and during the event itself. There was much miss-communication. Details and emails were sometimes overlooked which was frustrating for me. The insurance requirements by the building are very unreasonable and we had issues with vendor approvals for seven months and right up to the last minute. The event was beautiful and our guests enjoyed it, but there were stressful decisions that had to be made even on the night of the reception. If you book The Tower Club, I suggest you keep good notes, keep all emails, stay on top of all details, and hire an outside coordinator to help be your advocate. I don’t think I would hold another event there after this experience.
The view is wonderful but the service leading up to the wedding was beyond words and not in a good way. No bride wants to ever feel forgotten or overlooked and that's the way I felt. I never heard from the person who was over our wedding until a week before. Our wedding was saved by the Executive Sous Chef and staff who once found out pulled our wedding together so it would be something special. The food was amazing although we hardly had a chance to eat, like most couples.
When I first booked this venue a year ago, I fell in love with the coordinator as much as I did the place. When he left and then a second person left, I was very skeptical of the ability of the new coordinator.
That being said, Ali Chandler was the best person for the job. She took initiative, helped me finalize all of the details and even gave suggestions that we incorporated into our night. The food was awesome, really spectacular for such a large party, and the staff were professional and helpful.
