April 16, 2016 bride here. I never wanted to spend a crazy amount of money on flowers, but always wanted real ones. A family friend uses Towers of Flowers religiously so we checked... them out and at first it seemed like they could give me everything I wanted. Fast forward to two weeks before my wedding: I am told that the stands for the centerpieces are limited and there will not be enough for my tables, so I have to mix and match. When Jan called and confirmed the flower order, everything sounded great. We got roses and hydrangeas and lilies and I asked for a Tiffany rose for the centerpieces, which I was originally shown to be a very, very light peach color. I get to the florist and it was pretty much orange, not at all what was shown to me. I am anal by nature and extremely attentive when it comes to wedding details and would not have okayed this. They tried to blame me for the color of the flower and when I asked to change them they said it was too late. Near tears in the store and looking up other stands for the centerpieces last minute, Tom, the owner, said he would try and get some quicksand roses, which were a dusty rose color. He also replaced all of the girls bouquets with the dusty rose and scattered them throughout the centerpieces, so I was thankful for that. We eventually agreed on a price because we paid in cash and as we made the final payment, that number changed, which I was very upset about so we had to negotiate a little more. When everything was delivered on the day of, the throw away bouquet was not there, instead it was delivered to the venue. We were allowed to keep the extra centerpieces (a grouping of unarranged flowers) which I took to my photography site. Beautiful flowers but the service could be better. Overall, Tom and the rest of the crew did whatever they could to accommodate us, so I'd say 3.5.
