We had our wedding at The Town & Country Club in June 2024 and it was incredible! The venue is gorgeous, even the backup indoor ceremony option that we had to pivot to when it rained on our wedding day. The staff are very professional, the food is amazing, and the bar options worked well for us too.

My daughter recently had her wedding at Town and Country Club, and there was only one word to describe the event ..... PERFECT! Their special event and catering director Emma was so wonderful to work with. She was very organized and helped take the stress out of wedding planning. Everyone we worked with at Town and Country Club was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The chef was amazing! When we went to the tasting, he presented such beautiful and tasty plates of food, and he promised every plate served on the wedding day would look just as wonderful. And he was right! The food was amazing!! We chose walleye, boneless short rib, and parmesan chicken as our main entrees. All three meal choices were excellent, and people are still talking about how delicious and generous the food was and how beautifully it was presented. It was definitely not your typically wedding food. The other compliment we have been hearing over and over from our guests was how beautiful the venue and grounds were. We were fortunate to have gorgeous weather so we had a wonderful outdoor social hour. The lush green lawn and colorful flowers made everything look that much more festive and were a perfect backdrop for wedding photos. The indoor area was just as wonderful. The room was spacious, had a generous dance floor and bar area, and lots of beautiful woodwork and large chandeliers. The whole west side of the room had huge windows that overlooked the river and downtown skyline. The only decorations we added were some flowers, candles and greenery on the tables. I am so glad my daughter and son-in-law chose Town and Country Club for their wedding venue. It was so much easier to have a venue that provided everything, rather than having to coordinate separate catering and alcohol providers, rent linens, tables/chairs, lighting, sound systems, etc. I give Town and Country Club my highest recommendation.

he food was quality and fast - they know what they're doing! I was also happy with how reasonable the cost was. Unfortunately, we switched hands with 3 different wedding coordinators from the time we signed the contract up to our wedding day. The first Coordinator had confirmed we would have tents set out on the lawn for our cocktail hour (4pm on an 86 degree day - you need some tents!). We arrived and to my dismay - no tents. I talked to Emma, the current wedding coordinator, and found her to be so rude and unhelpful. She finally agreed to put out one tent (the space needed more like 10-12) and didn't make accommodations for the fact that the previous coordinator had confirmed we'd have tents and my willingness to pay any additional fees. Basically, she didn't come up to bat for us the day of, when you need your venue to pull through for you. Especially given the fact that it would have been an easy fix. My poor guests roasted during the cocktail hour! She had a bad attitude the rest of the night and really put a damper on the day. The location and wait-staff were phenomenal, Emma's customer service was terrible!

multiple times, at some points we had two days on the calendar. Their support and flexibility were greatly appreciated. The venue is elegant, classic, and spacious. As the bride, my #1 goal was great food, and I can't express enough how outstanding the food is at the T&C Club! We continue to receive compliments on how great the meal was from happy hour to entrees to dessert and late night snacks. Emma and her staff are so kind. They are a well-oiled machine. Everything was executed perfectly. Emma is a joy to work with. She is very organized and dedicated to making sure you have the day of your dreams. We were even surprised with a special moment for my husband and I to sneak away for sunset photos at the top of the golf course. There isn't one thing I would change about our reception and the staff at T&C club is the reason for such an amazing day.

several locations in mind for our venue. But when we walked into the River Room at T&C for the first time we knew we’d found the one! From the dark wood to the chandeliers to the amazing view of the Minneapolis skyline, the space checked every box on our wish list. That in combination with a new Executive Chef and menu, to a separate room used as a bridal “suite” and the impeccable staff and service at the reception – we were absolutely and completely satisfied with Town and Country Club from start to finish.

grapevine!) It were pretty unsure of what was going on for a month or two, but then we met the current event coordinator Megan and she helped make everything go smoothly. She was very accommodating when we asked for a second entree tasting, letting us store decorations at TCC the night before and come in early on the morning of the wedding to set up the hall, always answering our questions quickly, etc. We had a lot of compliments on the food: we served the Walleye, Chicken Veronique, and the Gnocchi with sides of Italian Smashed potatoes and seasonal spring vegetables. We chose to have a table side wine pour during dinner and a table side coffee pour after dinner which was really nice. The servers, bartenders and all of the staff were super helpful and quick to act. We were able to take some gorgeous sunset pictures on the back lawn. We were very happy with how everything turned out! I would highly recommend having your wedding reception at the Town and Country Club.

. We had a change of contacts the week before our wedding and their staff couldn't have done the transition any better. The staff was so professional when planning our reception and accommodated to everything we needed. The day before the wedding they were so much help setting up our stuff. When we arrived at Town and Country Club after the ceremony it was everything we had imagined! We couldn't be thankful enough for how great the service and food was for our reception and it was the best day because of all of the hard work done by Town and Country Club! They treated us like first class members of the club throughout the whole process and we wouldn't have wanted to have our reception anywhere else! It was beyond perfect!

The outdoor space is unparalleled, and luckily for my day the weather cooperated to allow for an unforgettable cocktail hour on the lawn. T&C even added extra tents the day of to provide more shade for guests. The food is extraordinary for a large group-- you can't go wrong with any of the options, but being that 50% of my wedding guests were out of towners, the walleye is a MUST. I still have people talking to me about it! All of the lovely feels here. Not to mention, the ultimate horizon/skyline view at the top hill of the 9th hole! We wish we could do it all over again :)

After we notified Brooke (the amazing coordinator!) she handled the situation very calmly and we were able to accommodate the surprise guests. , center pieces, candy bar and so much more. This helped take off a lot of stress and pressure off of me (the bride) not having to worry about anything. The dining/reception area was beautiful! There is no need to spend the extra money on ceiling draping or chair covers. The views from the room were gorgeous. We had a beautiful sunset right behind us at the head table that over looked the Minneapolis skyline. The room was very spacious even with a little over 200 guests. The one regret it did have, was that I was told there would be staff to take any cards or gifts and put them in a back room. Unfortunately, I was handed many cards throughout the evening because people did not know where to put them. I really wish I would have done a card box even though I was told I wouldn't need one. The only other negative comment that I heard from our guests was the food was that their food was barely warm. Overall we had a great experience with Town and Country Club and would highly recommend them!

faces towards the Mississippi River and downtown Minneapolis. What turned out to be a very nice touch, is the back drop in pictures for the wedding party walking down the aisle was the ivy on the club. This served as a truly beautiful backdrop.
The cocktail hour was also held outdoors on the lawn to the side of the ceremony location. Towards the end of the cocktail hour my groom and I went with our photographer out onto the golf course to take some pictures. This was great to give my new husband and I a few moments to ourselves, not to mention to see the awesome views from the course.
We then moved inside to the River Room for the reception. I absolutely love all the windows in the River Room. It doesn't help that this view is also of the Mississippi River and downtown Minneapolis. I liked that I had one branch of the room for the dessert table and bar and then another area for the dancefloor, so that I didn't have to move my guests table in order to make room for the dance floor.
We had white glove service for the cocktail hour and dinner. We recieved a ton of compliments on the food. It was incredible. We also had a coffee bar that the guests raved about.
The staff was a true pleasure to work with. Any questions I had leading up to the wedding were promptly answered. I feel like they truly went out of their way to make sure we had an incredible wedding.

up like some private country clubs. The guests raved about the food. The space was exactly what we were looking for.;It is a private club, so talk to catering services about requirements in order to book reception site. It is very easy.
