We loved Dawn! From the first phone call I had with her, I knew that we found a great photographer. She is very detail oriented, organized, and sweet. Due to Covid, our plans of having a big wedding were cancelled. We ended up having a small, intimate wedding at my sisters and Dawn was amazing at adapting to the change. Dawn has a way about her that makes you feel calm and comfortable. She takes AMAZING pictures and we are beyond thrilled that she captured our day! We would highly recommend her to anyone!

Picking a photographer is an incredibly difficult decision; the person that you choose is being entrusted with best representing one of the most significant days of your life. Trusting a stranger's subjective review of that person/ business on the internet is naturally a little unsettling. Having said all of that, I have to tell you that our experience with Dawn Crane, Owner of Trace Elements Photography LLC was nothing short of phenomenal. If you are the sort of person that places any emphasis on your gut feeling, or first impression that you get having met someone I can honestly say that Dawn is the person for you. She is an incredibly warm, caring, competent soul, that reads like an open book. The amount of thought, time, effort, and energy that she put into the photos she took of us, our families, and our friends is evidenced by the quality of her finished pictures. From the time that we committed to her every step of the way she surprised us with thoughtful little details that went above and beyond our expectations of what quality and professionalism looks like. If you are lucky enough to book Trace Elements Photography for your wedding , understand that you are getting a person who so capably is able to capture the emotions and humanity of your special day. Dawn felt like an old friend immediately; she absolutely shared in our laughter, the tears, and everything in between and took it in stride. Dawn is perfection, We loved everything about Dawn! She was always responsive, which was especially important since this was a destination wedding. She took the time to chat and understand what our expectations were, and she was so so helpful on the day of. Anytime i wasnt sure where to look or what to do with my hands, she was there to guide me. She didn't mind leaving the venue with us to get some shots in different scenery, and she paid attention to all of the details. I couldn't have asked for a better photographer. We got our photos back and they're unreal. Every single picture deserves to be framed. 10/10 recommend.
