I hired Tracy for month of coordination for my wedding. We had a 16 month engagement, so I felt comfortable and excited to tackle most of the planning - but when it came time to think about how all my months of planning would unfold on the day ...of the wedding, I knew I needed an expert. After a phone conversation where we got to know each other and discussed my needs and vision, I hired Tracy!
Tracy was professional in her communication with me and my vendors both in person and via email. After meeting with her the weeks before my wedding, and going over all details with her I finally felt comfortable "letting go" and knowing that everything would be taken care of in Tracy's capable hands. It gave myself and my family incredible peace of mind on the wedding day, and the only thing we had to worry about on the day of the wedding was getting ready and having fun. If anything went wrong the day of the wedding, I still don't know it - it felt perfect!
Tracy was accommodating of my needs and schedule, had an assistant with her during our rehearsal and wedding day who was also a pleasure to work with. She was discreet at the ceremony and reception, and only needed to consult me very minimally during the actual day, which was a welcomed time to check in with her and actually made our reception flow better with a suggestion by her.
Finally - many brides out there ask - is a coordinator worth the cost? YES, yes, and overwhelming yes! This was some of the best money I spent on our wedding because it gave us (and our moms, bridal party) the gift of a worry free wedding day. I spent months planning a wedding, and when looking at the larger picture of the cost and time spent planning, hiring a coordinator was a blessing. Its a gift for yourself for the day. You deserve it! I was on the fence about whether I needed one or not initially, but I was so thankful both the weeks leading up to and the day of. I will recommend all my friends to hire one of their own. Thank you Tracy!
