Tracie Howe Photography

At first we were hesitant to go with Tracie because she is a close friend. We didn't want any complications between us since weddings are nothing but stressful. But, we were pleasantly surprised. She was professional, flexible and most importantly, patient. Tracie Howe was perfect on our wedding day. She definitely knew what she was doing because our photos turned out absolutely amazing and we couldn't be happier. We will enjoy our beautiful photos for years to come and we thank Tracie for that (and her assistant, Autumn).

Tracie did the photography for my wedding and I was very impressed with the process from start to finish. Tracie was attentive to moments I wanted to capture and was able to help me create lasting memories of my wedding day. Tracie kept in contact with me until the pictures were ready to print. The final product was great quality and I would definitely recommend Tracie for any future events!

When we met Tracie we clicked all clicked right away and her portfolio was great. She sent us home with a few documents to fill out, including a profile about us as a couple and expectations for the day of the wedding. We both appreciated her attentiveness. After we filled out the forms and returned them, I got the first red flag. She responded with a backhanded compliment about it being "very detailed by comparison with other forms that she had received." Still we proceeded, feeling maybe she was just overwhelmed with the wedding season. Then on the day of the wedding, traffic being awful due to two football games, I was running a little behind. Although I arrived only 15 minutes late and she was taking other pictures, when it was time to do the couple photos and family photos she was visibly panicked about the time crunch. We found ourselves hurrying from one photo spot to the next and she would focus more on posing us than taking the photos. By the time she got us in a position she wanted she took only a couple pictures then rushed us to the next site or into a new pose. I was becoming more and more anxious. By the time we got to family photos I was verbally panicky. My sister (the maid of honor) noticed my distress and took over managing the photos, getting people lined up for the shots they would be in and kept us on track for the ceremony to be on time. When I looked at the pictures from the reception I noticed a disparaging lack of pictures of our families. Most of the pictures were from the dance floor or of food. Of the pictures with family very few were flattering. Overall I was disappointed.
