Tracy & her assistant were absolutely amazing from the first meeting to get an idea of who we are as a couple, through the entire planning & designing process, all the way to the end of our wedding night! They took the time to understand my husband and I’s vision for our wedding and helped make it better than we could have ever imagined. Tracy does the best job of guiding you through all the millions of design decisions and even pushes you a little outside the comfort zone, which was exactly what I needed as a very non-creative/visual person. She took each of my ideas and thoughts and turned them into a wedding day that reflected my husband and I’s love for each other. One of the most memorable and special moments of our wedding day was the private dinner Tracy set up for us while our guests enjoyed a cocktail hour and the main room was being prepared for the guests. My husband and I were very thoughtfully pulled into the private grooms suite where Tracy had Our plates and drinks set up. We were able to slow the moment down and we’re actually able to eat our food(as I know most couples that eat with their guests get pulled away to greet everyone and end up eating very little or none at all). By us having a private dinner, we were able to spend the entire time while our guests were eating, going table to table saying hi to every single person, which was so special. Tracy’s team team created a perfect detailed timeline and schedule that made the entire day flow so easily with zero stress. All in all, I would recommend TCE to every bride!!
We hired Tracy Collins Events for our wedding on 3/31/19. As we started our wedding planning we had no idea what to expect or how much effort it was going to take to pull off everything we were imaging. TCE's experience was extremely helpful when deciding on how we could put together the wedding we wanted but also in the budget we needed. I think the most valuable aspect of TCE was on the wedding day when it felt we did not have to worry or think about anything. We enjoyed the entire day with friends & family while everything was taken care of behind the scenes. There was not one time during the wedding that we were asked to make a decision about anything. TCE took care of everything and let us enjoy the night. It was well worth the investment and I can't imagine our wedding would have been as fun or as stress-free without them.
Our wedding coordinator, Tracy Collins was OVER-THE-TOP in all she did, and ON TOP of every single detail!!! She made our daughter’s and son-in-law’s wedding and reception simply perfect!
There are not enough words to adequately describe Tracy, but these are a few that apply...extremely organized, caring, a great sense of humor, fun, very creative, talented, honest, respectful, patient, intelligent, kind, sincere, hard-working, energetic, humble, positive, tactful, wise, calm, reliable, accommodating, conscientious, meticulous and so much more! As the Mother of the bride, Tracy insured that everyone, including me, enjoyed stress-free and enjoyable months of planning, and she made sure that the wedding day and evening reception was amazing in all ways.
Most all of our guests told us that ‘this was the very best wedding they had ever attended’!!!! This was all due to Tracy. Many of our guests asked for the name of our wedding coordinator. We gladly recommended her to many, many people. Almost one year after the wedding, we are still singing her praises!!
All of Tracy’s vendor recommendations were exceptional. Together with Tracy’s supervision, the planning, preparations, wedding day and evening reception was everything we could have ever dreamed!! We all have marvelous memories of this treasured time. Plus we have gained a lifelong friend in Tracy. She is truly THE BEST EVER!
What to say about Tracy "Dream-Maker" Collins? I live in LA, but was getting married in Austin. At first, my mom and I thought we could tackle everything on our own, but quickly realized planning a wedding is no small feat. So my mom began calling around to different planners, while I called a couple of other vendors. The florist I spoke with (and ended up using who was amazing - Flora Fetish) raved about Tracy. I mentioned this to my mom, who immediately called her, and Tracy answered on the first ring. An hour later, they were best frends and we had ourselves a wedding planner.
My husband and I wanted to get married on my parents' land in Driftwood, which is pretty rural and definitely not "wedding ready." Tracy was not phased, and handled each request, each (of the many) challenges, and each task with the utmost of ease, professionalism, confidence, and mind-boggling capability - I literally never saw her sweat even when I was certain the hurdles were just too great. And the final product was the most beautiful wedding I could have ever imagined, exceeding every single expectation I had ever had for my dream day. Thank you, Tracy and team, for making the best day of our lives even better!
Tracy was beyond professional. Most of the 200+ guests said it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever attended. That was no accident. Tracy met with us on numerous occasions and created a fantastic event. Our daughter and her fiancé were in California, so they depended a great deal on Tracy and her crew having the ability to pull it all together in a matter of just a few short months.
Tracy was a God send for my wedding. I was engaged for only four months and she was able to pull of my DREAM wedding. She new all the best vendors, made every decisions easy to make, and made me feel so calm on my wedding day. I was able to just relax and enjoy the full day because Tracy had absolutely every detail taken care of. I can never thank Tracy and her team enough for giving me the memories of a lifetime.
Tracy is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! She is a creative genius! My husband and I hired Tracy as our Wedding Planner and Coordinator and that was the best decision ever! From start to finish, Tracy was so fantastic, so well thought out and planned and had such creative ideas. I totally trusted her from day one and when it got to the day of the wedding, I felt completely at ease because I knew everything would be beautiful and taken care of. Even when I was stressed (planning a Texas wedding from NYC) Tracy would immediately respond to my text/call/message and be like okay let’s jump on the phone. She listened to all my ideas/needs/wants and made my dreams a reality! My husband and I only had a few weekends to go to Texas to go to meetings/viewings and she made it all happen and was so efficient! We also loved working with her team, especially Allison, who was also always readily available to answer questions. I have to say my favorite moment with Tracy was going to Marquee Rentals and watching her visually create our reception in front of us. I was in shock and it was like she waived a magic wand and had put a beautiful spread together. I HIGHLY recommend Tracy and her team of experts for your big day! We were absolutely thrilled to work with Tracy Collins Events for our wedding. From day one, Tracy worked towards making our special day the most fabulous day ever. Tracy has incredible knowledge, relationships and experience in the wedding space. Obviously, my husband and I had very little knowledge of vendors to work with, or where to begin as far as organizing a large event. Tracy took our hand and guided us through the entire process. What I love most about Tracy is the fact that she gave us the freedom to plan our day to make it about us, but challenged us to think outside of the box as far as our style, making our wedding high class and fun. Tracy went out of her way to help us stay under budget and honestly, became a sweet friend of mine throughout the process, keeping me laughing every time we connected. Our guests exclaimed that our day could not have gone more flawlessly, which I know was in extra large part because of Tracy. 10/10 would hire Tracy and recommend her team to all future brides and grooms. What a fabulous experience.
The wedding was held flawlessly in our back yard! Outside weddings present additional concerns not present with indoor weddings. We started working with Tracy very early and quickly became confident in her ability to put a great team together. She had us plan for the possibility of adverse weather, and she followed the weather closely with a special app. While we had a close call, she let us know a day or two before that adverse weather was not going to be a problem, and it wasn't. The weather, however, was cooler than we had hoped. After deciding with Tracy in mid-afternoon of the wedding day that we needed propane heaters, she took care of it and once again, we received many comments from attendees that the heaters were appreciated. One thing that was particularly clever was two very special bar drinks she had prepared that were named after our son and daughter-in-law's two pups. It went over extremely well with the attendees, many of whom commented that they were terrific drinks. Tracy helped us select a caterer (Austin Catering) that provided a truly excellent meal with a choice of two very well prepared entrees. The meal and the layout in the yard for the meal was again a source of many comments from attendees. Tracy guided us in the layout for the wedding service, and it too was excellent with many comments from attendees. Tracy guided us through the wedding procedure and cued the the string music group. She stayed for the reception with her assistant Annalise to make sure things went as planned; they were low-key in their presence and we were extremely pleased with their efforts for making a great evening.
I don't think we could have had a better back yard experience for a wedding. Tracy and her team were the very best!!
Where to begin with Tracy??? I got engaged before starting graduate school and knew I wanted to plan during my two and half years during school so I wouldn’t stressed and be ready to be married once I graduated. One day my mom was researching planners (I’m from West Virginia and lived in Austin, TX and wanted to get married there) and she called me and told me she was in the phone with this lady named Tracy for two hours and she was sold! I spoke to her the first time soon after and was sold!!!! She always listened to my mother and I but also gave amazing suggestions that only the a great wedding planner would know (I.e. your budget, cheaper options, prettier options). She is a go getter and you can see that. I recently was with a handful of my groomsman and they ALL spoke about her. She knows how to keep the boys in line (which especially with mine group, can be hard). Tracy has so many resources and ideas under her belt it is amazing to see her at work! I have personally seen her amazing organization and work ethic by going the extra mile. She truly was amazing. And I know I can say... while I was in school and my mother in West Virginia.... she made my Texas wedding a helluva good time. AKA... she’s the bomb.
We just LOVE Tracy and can't thank her enough for the incredible things she did to make our wedding dreams come true. My husband and I were truly novices in event planning and didn't have much help from family but Tracy stepped in and she works miracles. She is everything you could ever want in an event planner and more. She is organized, timely, professional, honest, and invested. Throughout the entire planning process, her input was invaluable. She made sure we were getting a fair deal from every vendor and gave us such peace of mind. For that alone, her work is priceless. On the day of the wedding, having her there made everything such a breeze. Her primary concern is only the happiness of the bride and groom. She’s always 10 steps ahead of any potential problem before it arises. There was not a hair out of place, down to the smallest detail. Tracy and Lauren are amazing and simply get things done. You’ll be so glad to have her as part of your team and she will make every part of the wedding easier and infinitely more beautiful.
When my wife and I started the wedding planning process, I figured as the groom I would stay away from most interactions with our wedding planner. Going into our introductory meeting, my thought was, "She doesn't care about my thoughts anyways." Within minutes of sitting down with Tracy and her team, I knew my initial assumptions couldn’t have been more wrong. The TCE team does a wonderful job engaging with both sides of the couple from the start to ensure the wedding is representative of both people involved. After each meeting, we always looked forward to our next meeting with Tracy because each time was so much fun. Admittingly, I never thought I would say wedding planning was fun, but TCE sure knows how to make planning a blast!…..Special shout out to Terrence, who is basically a unicorn, and always found a way to keep me entertained/engaged when Tracy could see me losing focus…..Throughout our entire year working with Tracy, there was never a doubt that she had wedding design and planning under control. Whether it was vendors, linens, decorations, or even programs/menus, Tracy made sure everything was taken care of and there was nothing to worry about! Most impressive of all is her ability to make everything seem effortless and organized. Not only is Tracy uber-talented when it comes to planning a wedding, she is able to connect with you on a deeper level than “what colors do you like” to understand how to bring personal touches to the wedding. Perfect example was my wife’s love for late night pizza. Without bothering us on the day-of, Tracy found a way to assemble individual, decorated Pizza boxes for guests as a late-night snack. Our wedding guests went on to call the pizza LEGENDARY. It is truly amazing how Tracy can excel at both the big picture and all the little details that go into the wedding day. Everything about the wedding day turned out perfect, and we have TCE to thank for that. My wife and I still consider Tracy a gift from God who made our wedding more perfect than we could have ever imagined. There truly isn’t enough words available to describe how amazing Tracy Collins and her team are, so do yourself a favor and let her coordinate the wedding of your dreams. Aside from saying yes to getting married, working with TCE is the best decision you will make throughout the entire planning process!!
(And yes, I am a groom who wanted nothing to do with wedding planning. I wanted my work to be done after the proposal. SO GLAD THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN 😊)
My wedding was exactly what I imagined and wanted—and the credit entirely goes to Tracy. We started working together about 8 months before our wedding date, and I’m so appreciative of the timeline she laid out to keep everything on track. All of the vendors she connected me with were excellent—there’s no way I could have begun trying to research them on my own. She kept me sane throughout the process so I was able to focus on celebrating.
Tracy and her team were so wonderful to work with! I've dreamt about my wedding my whole life like any other girl, but when I got engaged and actually had to start planning it I didn't know where to start...and I'm an organized, Type A person! From the start, I could tell Tracy was the expert! She made it very clear that she and her team would always be available during the planning process to answer questions and give input. Tracy even met with me and my mom to pick out table cloths and table settings, and she really brought my vision to life. Closer to the big day, Tracy and my amazing day-of coordinator Michelle, met with us for lunch to go over details with a fine toothed comb, and came armed with their laptops, planning sheets and a big binder full of all of my wedding details. We never felt rushed, and left that meeting knowing we had nothing to worry about. They also coordinated our vendors and made an intricate schedule to make sure the big day would go on without a hitch! Unfortunately, it rained on my big day when we had planned an outdoor ceremony, but Tracy and Michelle assured us our plan B would be beautiful...and it was! Even though I was disappointed about having to go with our plan B, I wasn't worried one bit about the last minute change because they had planned for it! Michelle and George, Tracy's assistants who assisted us the day of were absolutely the MVPs of our wedding. They were waiting for us with drinks after we said our "I Do's", checked in on us throughout the night, and transitioned all of our personal items, decor and luggage, into my parent's cars and our getaway car at the end of the night. They truly made our big day so special for everyone, since no one had to worry about those details. All in all, the whole planning process with Tracy Collins and her team was fabulous, and any bride would be lucky to have them coordinate her big day!!

Tracy Collins Events made planning my wedding enoyable and fun! Tracy has an eye for detail and designed our special day to be a perfect reflection of who we are as a couple. From invitations to the reception decor and everything in between, our wedding was flawless. I highly recommend Tracy if you're looking for an event planner to take away all the stress of planning and making the entire process easy.
Tracy is wonderful at accommodating her brides for who they are. What I mean by that is she gets to know what's important to you, what your budget is, etc. and she keeps that in mind the whole process. For example, she knew we did not want a majority of the "traditional" aspects of a wedding and never once tried to force us to change our minds. I was extremely conscious of our budget as well and she always worked with me through how to make it stretch or take something out that wasn't necessary so we had the money to put toward what we did want. On the flip side of that, I can tell that she has had brides very much the opposite of our vision with a bigger budget and she executed their days in such a beautiful way, too. Day of, we had Terrence and Michelle, who exceeded every expectation we had! I could have asked anything (and did!) and it seemed like they were already five steps ahead of it. From hand cleaning my dress that got mud during the recessional to running across the street to grab us Red Bull to keep us going, there is truly not ONE thing I would have changed about our wedding. It was flawless and truly the best day ever.
Tracy and her wonderful team held my hand through every step of the wedding planning process! She was the best decision we made. I took her opinion on all of my vendors and they all turned out wonderfully. My husband and I moved cross country in the middle of wedding planning, Tracy went out of her way to accomodate by pushing up and fitting in meetings as well as phone consultations and and taking care of errands for me before we were in town. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone looking for a wedding planner!
There are not enough words for me to put on a page to sing Tracy’s praises. When we decided to plan a wedding in Austin all the way from Seattle, we knew it would be hard work and would absolutely need a wedding planner. I interviewed 6 different companies, and from our initial meeting, Tracy stood out head above all the others. I knew I was looking for a planner with a talented eye for design plus someone that would advocate on our behalf both through the vendor selection process and on the big day, because we had no idea what we were doing going into this process. For the year that we worked with Tracy and her team (Shout out to Michelle and Terrence), everything ran more smoothly than I could have ever imagined. It got to the point where I knew Tracy understood our vision so well, I could trust her 100% to make decisions on our behalf. Tracy and the team were so enjoyable to work with, my husband actually enjoyed being involved with every aspect of the planning. I am so appreciative of how willing the whole team was to make the most of our short and scarce trips to Texas and have phone/skype meetings at weird times of day to maximize our planning. Our wedding surpassed all mine and my husband’s expectations, and it is 100% because of Tracy and her team. The day ran so smoothly and the whole week leading up to it Tracy was working into the wee hours of the night to make sure all the finishing touches were sorted out, without adding extra stress to our last minute preparation. The Tuesday before the wedding, Tracy spent 7 hours with us making sure that we were happy with every final detail heading into the weekend. We are still hearing from our guests that it was the most beautiful and fun wedding they have ever been to. We owe Tracy and her team a million thank yous, they are truly a gift from God. We are so thankful that she went above and beyond to make this day so special for us and for the friendship that developed while making it happen.

Tracy will do everything she can to make your wedding day go exactly how you imagined and more. I was planning my wedding in Austin from afar without much help, and Tracy was there to help me every step of the way. She guided me through a whole process I was very unfamiliar with to help coordinate a wedding for 230+ guests. The day of the wedding she is the bride and groom’s number one advocate - she helps with every detail and saves any situation- even turning a collapsing cake into a flower adorned breath-taking one ! Cannot tecommend Tracy and her team enough !
Tracy was my day of coordinator two years ago for my wedding. I've been meaning to write a review for a long time (now we have an 8 month old). My wedding day was effortless. We had a few phone calls prior to a month out when she gave advice and we talked about logistics. A month out we met and went over every last detail. We did a walk through with the catering team at the venue. I was nervous when we got there because I had no idea what to say/do. Immediately Tracy took charge and started giving the catering people and venue direction. It was wonderful. There was another couple getting married at the venue the night before so Tracy suggested we go in with them on a rain plan tent. We did and she coordinated it all, piece of cake!! Day of, I had to much fun, there were no issues that I saw. Even my dad commented afterwards that Tracy and her team were working hard! Looking back, I thought it would be easier/cheaper to do the wedding decor, most of the planning myself. It was incredibly stressful. I would just pay these guys to handle!!
Working with Tracy and her team was amazing. They were beyond helpful, responsive, and friendly. And during the day of, my two planners went above and beyond to make everything perfect. Hiring them was probably the best decision I made during my entire planning process and it was worth every penny.
Tracy is like the sorority sister that I never had. I'm not a huge girly girl, so a lot of the minute details really flew under my radar, but Tracy knew exactly how to pull everything together to make our day PERFECT. We planned a destination wedding in Austin from Phoenix and Tracy was so accommodating and conscientious about the difficulty of doing it from afar. She met with our vendors for me and scheduled a walk through at the venue with the caterer without me even being there. On the actual day of the wedding, everything ran so smoothly because Tracy and her support staff were able to guide us effortlessly from one event to another. The night never felt like it dragged on and honestly, the whole evening was magical, due to her hard work and being able to foresee potential problems from afar. I have never regretted hiring her and she has been insanely helpful from the get go. I messed up my linen order and she was able to get it fixed and worked with my caterer to make sure that my linens got there in time. If you're considering not hiring professional help for your wedding, PLEASE reconsider and hire Tracy immediately. She had so many cool ideas and all of her ideas were tailored to me and my husband's needs. I love, love, love Tracy and would recommend her to anyone.
I used Tracy Collins Events for my recent wedding. My venue required that I have a Day of coordinator and I am so glad that they did. Everyone should at least have a Day Of Coordinator. I hired Tracy for Design and Décor and Day Of Coordination. Tracy definitely knows what she is doing and has tons of contacts in the business. She was helpful with Design and Décor; however, I think she is used to working with brides with unlimited or very large wedding budgets. The only times we disagreed was when I was trying to stay within budget and she was suggesting things that while they would be beautiful, would have put me over the top. I’ve seen the weddings she has done and she does create beautiful weddings, so I knew she would do the same for me, just wasn’t comfortable doubling my budget in order to do so. In the end, we did go over budget but we picked and chose the items that were important to me and went over budget there rather than on things that I didn’t feel were necessary. She has a group of vendors that she prefers to works with which are great but I did choose several of my own that she had never worked with to save some money. My vendors did just as good if not better than her more pricey vendors. The Day Of Coordination is where Tracy really shines and proved her worth. She was there on time and had everyone coordinated and everything went smoothly. If there were any issues, I was not made aware of them (and still am not) and that’s the most important thing for a Bride. She and her assistant Michelle were very professional they made sure we stayed on schedule and most importantly that the Groom and I always had a drink in our hand after dinner. Tracy gets things done and is an amazing Day Of Coordinator.
Tracy was such a lifesaver! I couldn't have done it without her. I hired her as my day of coordinator and she went above and beyond in making sure everything was perfect. I highly recommend her!!
Tracy and Michelle were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! If I had it to do all over again, I would 1,000% work with her again, and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone getting married in Austin. She has relationships with the best of the best vendors, knows what to expect in terms of pricing, and knows when you can or cannot negotiate on price. She is truly talented, and can listen to what you want and pull things together in a way that is better than you could have ever imagined. As a bride who had just moved to Austin with no friends or family in town to help me make all the small decisions that go into wedding planning, I knew I needed to at least bring in a day-of-coordinator. Additionally, after selecting a modern, but blank space, and trying (but failing) to come up with good décor ideas on my own, I knew I needed the help of an expert. From the first time I met with Tracy, I could tell she just got my vision for the wedding. She was like the best friend in town that I needed! She was so easy to get along with and made the whole process fun. She made what I couldn't describe in words come together in a way that was amazing beyond what I could have imagined. She made me feel like I was her only client, and went above and beyond when it came to working with me on the design and flow of the wedding. She was responsive and available via phone, email, and text to answer all my questions. As an accountant and former auditor by profession I am very detailed by nature, so it was extremely important to me that everything, down to the last detail was considered, planned out, and budgeted for. As budget was important, she helped me to understand the different options and their costs, so that I could make decisions accordingly. Tracy went above and beyond, meeting with me several times to select each little detail, down to the linens, plates, silverware, chairs, and tables until I was absolutely happy and in love with the way everything worked together. We did mock-ups in the rental space, and she was even able to have the florist bring the vases and some fake flowers to help me get a feel for the complete look. On the day of she ensured everything was set-up exactly as discussed, and it looked absolutely stunning!! She also did an excellent job of coordinating the various vendors and ensuring they were there and doing what they needed to be on time. Her team took everything from me days in advance, and also packed everything up for me and dropped it off at the end of the night, so I didn't have a single thing to worry about the day of the wedding. She created a detailed timeline and plan that she circulated to the vendors and wedding party, and kept everything running smoothly and on time the day of. I can't thank Tracy and her team enough for everything they did! I couldn’t have imagined the day without her!!
Tracy and her team are amazing! From our first meeting, she inspired confidence and exuded professionalism. Tracy listened to my daughter’s vision for her wedding and made it happen within our budget. She is an outstanding designer with many creative ideas. Tracy is a delight and worth her weight in gold!
I don't think there is anyone better than Tracy and her team when it comes to weddings. For a completely control freak planning a wedding in a different city might have stressed me out but with Tracy's help I stayed calm. I used her day of wedding services, but she helped me throughout the entire process. She helped me pick out the table clothes, helped me with the caterer tasting, and made great recommendations all along the way. The day of the wedding she took care of everything, I had zero stress in my wedding day because I knew she was taking care of everything. My dream was to have a beautiful wedding and she helped make that happen. When I walked out and saw everything set up and put together I started crying because she made what was in my head come to life. Tracy was amazing from start to finish! She had multiple phone calls with me before I even chose her as my day-of coordinator and was extremely helpful. My mom and I did most of the planning and when we met with Tracy for our final meeting to go over EVERYTHING we realized that we had seriously missed quite a few things. Tracy creates the ultimate checklist for you and goes over every tiny detail that you would never think of unless you've done hundreds of weddings. She creates a custom timeline down to the MINUTE, it's unreal. She does her best not to bother the bride the day of for anything. We were behind schedule due to weather/craziness of a wedding and she spoke to my parents and the venue and added an hour for the reception so we didn't have to end early.
When we met to choose tablecloths and table settings we realized very quickly that we had signed a contract with the wedding planner queen. She knows everything there is to know about tables/decor/etc. and somehow knows exactly what you'll love. We went in thinking we'd have all ivory table cloths and came out with 4 different colors/textures, and it was all to die for. She has tons of vendor connections and was able to help me find multiple items I still needed help with. Finally, the day after your wedding she follows up with all vendors to let them know what went wrong/what was great, etc. If you want someone that will get everything done the day of, Tracy is your go-to.
Let me just start by saying that I'm not a planner, I don't enjoy planning, and I was SO excited to get married but the 8 months of engagement to "plan" wasn't part of my bridal joy. We knew exactly what we wanted but planning a wedding across the country, vetting vendors, and having confidence they would deliver on the vision was scary. So, I started the search for a wedding planner. My requirements - responsive, fun, understood my vision, and proactive. Tracy was ALL of this and SO much more. She's amazing at what she does, had an immediate understanding of our requests, and delivered 10X anything we asked. Even better, she had fun with us (or so I like to think). I would tell every bride to use Tracy and her insane planning skills for any event - wedding, party, shower, etc. She has amazing industry connections, executes on your vision flawlessly and can talk through budget like a champ.

HIGHLY recommend!!! We hired Tracy for all of our day-of coordinating and she was a dream come true. My husband and I wanted to get married in Austin so it would feel like a "destination wedding" without our guests having to go too far... so with my husband and I living in Midland, Texas and my parents in Houston, Tracy was SUPER helpful in recommending Austin vendors and coordinating details when my mom and/or I couldn't be there to meet in person. All of her vendor recommendations were excellent and she saved us so many hours of research by recommending great people! Anytime I had questions, Tracy always got back to me in a timely manner with all the info I needed. Three weeks before the wedding I realized I wanted the "day-of" paper items to go in a different direction than what I had originally planned... Tracy immediately jumped on it with one of her go-to vendors, they worked diligently to freshen up how to present our wedding theme, and I was truly amazed when I walked into our reception and saw how beautiful everything looked! The day of our wedding moved smoother than I could ever have imagined; everything ran on time and flowed exactly as Tracy said it would in our final planning meeting a month before the wedding. So many of our friends and family have since raved about how perfect everything went on our special day and we seriously owe it all to Tracy and her team, and all the vendors she recommended. And honestly I think I am most grateful for the fact that I didn't have to do or worry about a single thing on our wedding day because I knew Tracy had it all under control. I used Events by Decision (Tracy Collins) to book my buses/getaway car for the Rehearsal Dinner, for the bridal/grooms parties on day of to get them to the venue and the vintage getaway car for the bride/groom after the reception. Tracy and her staff were very professional and thorough in details and diligent in getting me the best prices for all my transportation needs. I would recommend using Events by Decision for all your wedding needs.
Tracy and her staff were AMAZING!!! She was my 'month-of coordinator', but she was available at all times and answered all of my questions! We would not have made it through the day without TCE! Five stars really isn't enough. As a bride living in Dallas, and planning a "destination" wedding in Austin... I was nervous about the disconnect and distance. However... Tracy and her team (shout out to Michelle, Lauren, and Tiffany!) are true pros. They are thorough, efficient, and just total babes to work with. You make so many small decisions along the way, that it's hard to piece together what the final event will look like, but Tracy and her team totally rocked it. They manage their time and their clients with ease, and always make themselves available to chat - making me feel like I was their top priority. Even though they manage multiple brides and events every.weekend. I can't thank Tracy and her team enough for helping me achieve my DREAM WEDDING!

I dont think I will have enough space to describe everything that Tracy did throughout our wedding planning so that whoever reads this review understands that Tracy is an AMAZING wedding coordinator and the BEST decision you can make when planning your wedding in Austin. In my case, Tracy came HIGHLY recommended. Right after I signed my contract at Ma Maison I asked Karen (the owner) if she had any recommendations for planners in the area and she said: call Tracy she is hands down the best! However I decided to do my research because I wanted to take the time to assemble the very best in the business and I knew that choosing our wedding planner was the most important decision after the venue, so I didnt take it lightly. After all the research and several interviews I wish I listened to Karen and signed the contract with Tracy right there and then because I got to the same conclusion...Tracy is by far the BEST wedding planner in the area and the best person to coordinate a Ma Maison wedding. She knows this venue and all the vendors around the area like the palm of her hand, and just like in real estate its all about location, in the wedding industry its all about the relationships and partnerships that your coordinator builds with other vendors and Tracy is the girl to have in your corner! She is so well connected and uses these to help each one of her brides accomplish the wedding of her dreams and solve any issues that might arise. We had at least two major problems that I can think of that Tracy solved with just one phone call and saved us A LOT of money. She was able to recommend the BEST vendors in the area and thanks to her we were able to assemble the "A team".
She was so flexible with us and was able to accommodate weekend visits since we were from out of town to help us pick linens, rentals, etc and lets not even talk about the ONE MILLION emails and phone calls that Tracy had to endure throughout our LENGTHY wedding planning, that she sooo patiently returned. I was a very detailed oriented and continuously made additions and changes and she was super understanding and patient. I know our wedding was quite a challenge and not the typical wedding given that we planned a Mexican-Colombian destination wedding in Texas but she took this challenge head on and rocked it! She offered her address so I could send multiple decor items and things I ordered online (that way I didnt have to carry as many things with me from Houston). She did a very detailed timeline and coordinated the SUPER complicated transportation schedule and my almost 30 wedding vendors. The day of the wedding she made sure we had a private dinner, she brought our signature cocktails so we could try them and was able to tame our crazy latin wedding party! Finally lets discuss the AMAZING design!! The ceremony and reception space were absolutely STUNNING and out of the pages of a magazine, I could not believe my eyes! It was everything I have dreamed and more! Tracy worked tirelessly until 4 am as our reception ended late and everything was PERFECTION. She packed all of our stuff in our car, sent us away with plenty of food and cake. She even went out of her way and returned all the unused alcohol that otherwise we would have to take with us to Houston (we couldnt return it on a Sunday). Tracy has to be one of the most connected people in the Austin-area wedding industry. She knows everyone, and has tons of suggestions to help you make the event you want, precisely how you want it. Her business model is what made me choose Tracy over other wedding planning/coordination services. She provides a list of itemized services, each with its own price. So if you help with stationery, for example, you pay X amount for her to take charge of this particular thing. In the planning process, she makes herself available to talk you through whatever you need. She also combs through your contracts with other vendors to catch mistakes and verify you're getting all that you paid for. On the day-of, she does an excellent job making the day run smoothly as possible and helping you have the best time possible. Highly recommended!
Tracy is phenomenal! We hired her as a "day of coordinator" and she went above and beyond. When the caterer didn't show up on time Tracy and her assistant made sure they arrived as soon as possible and finished setting up the tables. She saved the day! She is super organized and has fantastic ideas. It's because of Tracy I was able to have my dream wedding!
Iv been working with Tracy for about two years now and she's been amazing! Tracy is very good at getting things done because she's so organized, knows a lot of people and places in the wedding industry and loves what she does. I haven't had to worry about anything because she's always on top of everything. She's very bubbly and a sweet person and is very accommodating to your needs. She meets with you and goes over things with you, stays in touch via emails and handles things with your vendors! Wedding night came and she had everything under control, had me and everyone where we needed to be and knew every step of the way what to do next while coordinating with other vendors. Tracy and her team did an amazing job at our wedding at Ma Maison last week. We hired her as a day-of coordinator, but she was so helpful in the year leading up to our big day. She was there for us to bounce ideas off of, met us to help make our rental decisions, and had lots of recommendations for vendors she trusts. I felt the transition ran smoothly when she took over the week of the wedding. She had all our contracts and I had complete faith she knew exactly what I wanted and how to make it happen.
Several people told me to not stress prior to the big day. They said if anything goes wrong, no one will notice but me. I literally didn't have a care in the world other than celebrating my new wife. I put my faith in Tracy and she delivered. I can think of nothing that went wrong. That is either a testament to my amazing wedding planning skills, luck, or Tracy's execution. If anything went wrong, I had no idea. I would hire her again in a heartbeat and would emphatically recommend her to anyone I know.
P.S.- Tracy is sneaky and can keep a secret. She conspired with my wife to surprise me with a wedding videographer.
EBD was absolutely amazing! Our wedding would have been a disaster without them! If you are trying to decide if you whether or not to hire them, do yourself and your spouse a favor and hire them! Tracy was world class from day one. She was a total professional in her field and demonstrated this through her knowledge on every little detail and the respect she received from every vendor.
Tracy was a joy to work with the entire time and helped my wife and I make the best decisions on hundreds of matters. Our wedding turned out amazing and we owe the majority of it to EBD! Tracy was crucial the week of to coordinate vendors and make sure we were clued in on everything. Come the day of, Tracy and Vanna went above and beyond their duties. They kept the flow of the big day smooth, even when we fell behind schedule they were calm, while showing strong leadership to keep us on track and not worried about a thing. 5 stars is not even enough to quantify our incredible experience of working with Events By Decisions for our wedding. After meeting Tracy Collin's at our venue's spectacular anniversary party (which she planned) we saw the work in action and we're excited to hire Tracy for both our 'day-of' coordination and for assistance with the overall design elements of the wedding.
Leading up to the big day, Tracy went above and beyond in every possible way, and she and her amazing assistant Vanna then executed flawlessly on the coordination day-of. Tracy's extensive real-life experience, industry connections, creative 'outside-the-box' mentality, and can-do attitude allowed our dream wedding to be a reality. Coming from someone who has difficulty making decisions, and a couple who often has differing opinions, she made the planning process smooth and enjoyable. She was phenomenal with her communication, always timely and responsive. She took our vague ideas and concepts and developed them into a spectacular event. She made us feel very comfortable with our budget upfront, and offered suggestions for vendors who did the same. Our guests cannot stop raving about how gorgeous the day was, how blown away they were with all the details, and how much fun they had at the reception.
As for the coordination aspect, in the weeks prior to the wedding Tracy developed an extensive timeline that took into account every detail under the sun... wow did that pay off. On the day of Tracy and Vanna were over-accommodating, calm, positive, and attentive-- everything you would want in a coordinator. Its no wonder our amazing venue had nothing but great things to say about these gals! We cannot sing their praises more, they were amazing.

What can I say but Tracy is awesome! She was the reason my daughters wedding was exactly what she wanted. She listened to what Emily wanted and made it a reality. She is totally about supporting the bride and taking on all the responsibility during the day of the week of the wedding. The wedding day was so relaxing and fun. Yes I said relaxing!!!!! She is so organized that the wedding went off without a hitch. She was the go to person with all of the vendors during the week of the wedding so that the bride isn't really stressed at all. I love her creative ideas!!!!!!! She really thinks outside the box!!!!!!!!! The best choice my daughter made was having Tracy as her wedding planner. She works so hard to make the brides dream come true!!!!! She is like a 15 on a scale of 1-10.

I hired Tracy as a day-of coordinator for my wedding, but she was so much more than that! I hired her a bit more than a year out and she was so accessible through email/phone leading up to the day of. In my package, I had a few extra meetings, but she even offered to help me with linens - which totally took my wedding above and beyond. Tracy has an AMAZING eye - and is perfectly parts sweet and sassy - for when vendors or groomsmen get out of line ;). She is always in your corner - no matter what the request is, and that is extremely important to have the day of your wedding and leading up to it. She was full of great ideas to improve the wedding during our planning process, and without her my wedding probably would have been a huge flop. She really takes the time to get to know you and the groom, to understand your vision/tastes and tailor your wedding. Plus, the wine + dinner dates with her are so fun, you forget the reason you are there is for the wedding :)
Leading up to the wedding, Tracy is VERY thorough, having you fill out a questionnaire which is very detailed. With this, you discuss the details, family dynamics, etc. to make sure the day of is as smooth as possible. From this info, she creates a timeline, layout, and day of packing list. This is awesome, because as a result of her planning and organization, all vendors are on the same page as to expectations the day of.
I honestly can not say enough great things about Tracy and her assistant Vanna. Tracy was so willing to help out during my final walk through to add some drapings at the venue, getting them at a great price due to her great relationships with other vendors.
Tracy helped me take my wedding above and beyond all my expectations and completely floored me the day of, leaving me speechless with what she had put together. The drapings, linens, the layout, everything was absolutely PERFECT!! She even helped me take care of a few hiccups due to a difficult vendor the week of - she was the point of contact taking off any stress of the bride.
The day of the wedding, Tracy took care of a few obnoxious guests without interrupting anything that night for either of me or my husband. Our drinks were never empty the entire night - it was like she knew what we needed before we asked. She had drinks waiting for us directly after the ceremony and helped coordinate a private dinner for the Groom and I in the bridal suite during pictures, so we could have a few minutes alone. Additionally, she filled the limo for the ride to the hotel with snacks and drinks for us, in addition to our guestbook and Photo Booth book so we would have something to look at from the night on our way. It was so thoughtful and sweet!
Tracy is honestly so much more than a wedding coordinator - she has become someone who I consider a friend, and I am looking forward to catching up with a wine date ASAP!

Wedding #2 is a wrap! Tracy and Events By Decision has very successfully exceeded our expectations once again. After our first wedding in Austin five years ago I was a novice with this daunting process. I came away feeling (as the Mother of the Bride) like the most honored guest and relieved of all stress due to Tracy's giant assist. Our second wedding I was prepared to give it all to Tracy and my daughter. Tracy proves to be the intercessor between Mothers and daughters making the experience so much easier and all the more sweet. She has wonderfully creative ideas but open to our wishes as well. I didn't think I needed a wedding planner, and I was in Marquee rental trying to make rental decisions snd had a break down!!! I told one of the employees I need a wedding planner!!!! We are new enough to Austin that planning our daughter's wedding (who lives in another city) in 3 months required some guidance. We ended up with a fantastic morning wedding at Smith Family Chapel and an outstanding evening reception at The Austin Club.
