Highly recommend! From initial inquiry to execution of the event, every interaction has been such a positive experience. Traditions clearly prides themselves on providing quality customer service and it shows. We hired them for our wedding and the service, food quality, and coordination with other vendors was exceptional. Our guests spoke highly of the hors doeuvres & food portions were generous enough to leave guests full. I recommend the chicken cordon blue & beef brisket soup.

Traditions Catering were so attentive and addressed all our questions and needs. It was such a great experience and the planning was stress free. The tasting was amazing, the food was wonderful, and the staff that serviced the event were so friendly and professional! Our guests had a wonderful time and our event turned out amazing. We were more than pleased from the beginning with planning all the way to the end!

Traditions was with me through Covid and 3 different dates and two different venues. But the one thing that didn’t change is our menu selections and communication! Through covid, things got a little lost and we didn’t even get to do a tasting of the things we had selected. And I didn’t even care. The food was AMAZING and we had many people come up to us to say how impressed they were. We were even given some freebies along the way, which was amazing and unexpected. The only thing that wasn’t super great was the unexpected cost a few days prior to the wedding because the original excel sheet was messed up. But luckily, it wasn’t too much. But things happen and definitely wouldn’t stop me from choosing them over again!!! Highly recommended!

Great experience planning, postponing for a year and then finally having a wedding and reception. Zanny and Rev were extremely responsive to all questions and requests. The food was amazing and got rave reviews from guests. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Zanny was so helpful in planning for our reception!! She went above and beyond the food aspect! Then Covid! she was willing to work with our multiple event changes including number of people and location! I never did a food tasting! I was going on faith at that point! Everything was exceptional!! Food was delivered hot, fresh, tasty, plenty for everyone!!! I couldn't have asked for more. They even added vegatarian sliders for the bride and grooom. I can't say enough! Thank you!

Traditions created and presented the perfect food spread for a brunch at my house on the morning after my wedding. I knew I would be very limited in what I could do to prepare and host that morning, but it was no problem for Zanny and her staff. I didn't have to worry about a thing! They allowed me to spend precious time with out-of-town friends and family, which is one of the biggest gifts a bride can ask for! Thank you Zanny, and I highly recommend your company.

I really enjoyed Traditions Events & Catering. Nicole is amazing! The only small issue we ran into on my wedding day was raw salmon. Not all the guest, but some of them. The staff was very apologetic and prepared some more and served my guest. Other than that, my wedding was an absolute success!

The BEST caterers in town! My husband and I got married on 10/20/2018 at The Historic Post Office and had an AMAZING experience with Traditions! Zanny, Rev and the Traditions team epitomizes the phrase excellent customer service! They were responsive, professional, punctual and made our guests feel welcome and well cared for during our wedding. We HIGHLY recommend them!

Working with Traditions was such a great experience! Planning a wedding can be super stressful, but the staff (especially Zanny Brickner) were so incredibly understanding and accommodating! Even the servers during the wedding were personable and attentive. It was an overall wonderful experience and I am so thrilled I chose Traditions for our big day!

I love, love, love this company. Zanny Brickner was my point-of-contact up until the day of my wedding, and she is incredible. She is funny, smart, and honest. She guided me on headcount details, design details, and even walked me through options for the bar at our wedding (cash v open v deposit then cash). If you end up with her as your catering guru, you are lucky! I swear she is my sister from another life, we got along so well. She created a detailed timeline for the day-of, and it was incredibly helpful as the details start to pile up at the end and can feel overwhelming if, like my husband and I, you can't afford a coordinator to help plan the whole thing. Sean was the on-site manager during our wedding, and he was awesome. The entire Traditions staff at our wedding was polite, thoughtful, and helpful! There was a leak in a bathroom at our venue, and the venue didn't have a manager or coordinator on-site, so the catering staff helped us clean it up so guests wouldn't slip or get wet. They thoughtfully plated food for my husband and I, as we had a buffet, and they didn't want to make us walk through the line. They asked us if they should cut up our entire cake or leave the top tier. They helped us clean up our own items at the end of the night. I feel it's a company that goes above and beyond for their employees. I don't plan on planning a wedding again, but if there is ever an event where I need catering services, I am hiring Traditions.

Traditions was easy to work with while planning our wedding and very helpful. We worked mainly with Zanny, who was honestly one of the main reasons we decided to go with Traditions. My husband and I got along very well with Zanny and she helped make the wedding planning process involved with Traditions, fun. We had our wedding at West Neck Village Hall and it was absolutely beautiful. During the reception, we noticed that the food was served on time and quickly, plus it tasted great. My husband and I were very happy with how everything turned out and if our guests felt different, well, they didn’t tell us. Their prices were reasonable and appropriate. Every aspect of working with Traditions was positive: ironing out the details, the tasting, the food, and every person we encountered at Traditions. If we did it all over again, we would go with Traditions. I would recommend them as a both a catering company and as a company to cater and provide your wedding venue.

They exceeded my expectations! But the best part of all was they truly cared about listening to our needs to make it a memorable day. Indeed it was! We used traditions for our wedding of about 60 people. Zanny was wonderful to work with. She was very patient and gave great recommendations for other vendors. I would use traditions again.

Working with Zanny was so seamless and easy! We spent more time laughing together during our meetings than being stressed about making the details come together. The whole day was perfect and everyone complimented our food and venue.

Traditions brought a great meal to our wedding. Kathi made wedding planning a breeze by handling most all of our contact by email, answering any questions I had promptly and updating my contract anytime I made a payment or made changes,that way I always had the most updated information at my fingertips. Traditions even rolled our silverware in the colored napkins I rented and returned them to the rental store after our wedding was complete. Job Well Done.

Awesome venue! Exceptional customer service! The food was superb especially the seafood lasagna! My guest keep telling me how beautiful our wedding was & how great the food taste. I would recommend this venue to any bride and groom!

I truly can't say thank you enough to Rev and the traditions team! You guys made everything so easy and stress free! Food was fantastic and reasonably priced! No one had one bad thing to say about the food and bar! Also order the lumpia and get a lot of it it was a hit!

Everyone at Traditions was pleasant to work with and very knowledgeable in their fields. Nicole was super helpful in nailing down the small details that my fiancé and I wanted in our wedding ceremony and reception. We were looking for a place to have a wedding ceremony AND reception, where the food was good and the cost was reasonable. Traditions was the perfect spot for that. They were very flexible in working with us and paying as we went along. Nicole was very responsive via telephone and e-mail if we had any question. The facility is beautiful and well-maintained, I was glad there was a large space where we could get ready on-site. The food was DELICIOUS! (Thanks Rev and his team), people are still raving about the dinner they had at our reception. Thanks for making our wedding the best it could be, I will make sure to recommend anyone who asks right over to you!

I loved working with Nicole! This I the best company! They worked within our budget and didn't short change us. The food was amazing. Our guest said the venue and everything surrounding was amazing. They are amazing!

My husband and I chose Cypress Point Country Club as our wedding venue. During our wedding planning process, management changed and Traditions acquired it as one of their properties. As a bride, I was super nervous that the change would disrupt wedding planning and cause a headache. But, I'm happy to report that it was the exact opposite of that! Zanny Brickner was my coordinator and she helped my husband and I plan the PERFECT day. She is extremely detailed oriented and brought up items I hadn't even thought to plan for. The food was excellent and our guests raved about each item we chose for our buffet. The ceremony and reception space is beautifully kept. The staff goes out of their way to help the bride and groom enjoy their day. We're so happy we chose Cypress Point/Traditions for our special day.

We could not have asked for a better venue or group of people to help make our wedding memorable. The course and country club were beautiful. Anne, the events coordinator, was readily available to answer any questions. We appreciated that Cypress Point provided excellent bartenders and waitstaff. The ballroom and accessory rooms were spacious, clean, and had updated/classic decor. Cypress Point also has a good size room for bridal party prep, and an area for the guys also. I will be keeping cypress point in mind for future events!

My husband and I can't say enough amazing things about Anne and the entire staff at Cypress Point Country Club. They truly love what they do and helped make our wedding day vision a reality. We have gotten so many compliments from our guests on how perfect everything looked and how smoothly the whole day went. Anne Goessling, the event coordinator, is FANTASTIC! She serves as the day of planner and mistress of ceremony. We loved her! She was very available throughout the entire planning process through email, phone, and in person meetings. She also helped us with recommending other vendors during our planning process. She worked with our florist to make sure the whole reception was decorated. The venue is beautiful during any time of year too. We used Cypress Point for our ceremony and reception. We got married outside the club house on the golf course and it was gorgeous in October. Once our ceremony was over we took pictures and the staff made sure we all got drinks while we took all our photos. The staff also got my husband and I dinner first so that we could eat before all our guests. We were so happy about this because we had been worried after hearing from friends that the bride and groom never have time to eat. Anne and her staff checked in with us throughout the whole reception to make sure that we had a drink and asked if we needed food too. Everything was beautiful and the staff are amazing at what they do. We highly recommend Cypress Point Country Club to any couple looking to get married in the 757 area. You won't regret it!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Traditions this week and I have to say, we couldn't have picked a better place to get married. Rev and his team made sure our venue and catering goals were met at great prices. The place is beautiful and the staff were so nice and helpful to our guests. We have been getting so many compliments this week on how beautiful our wedding was. Thank you Traditions for giving us a perfect wedding!

Cypress Point was the perfect location for our wedding. I wanted an indoor location since we were getting married in May, I did not want weather to be an issue, but my Husband really wanted outdoor. Cypress was the best of both worlds with a beautiful interior spacious enough to hold all of our guests, as well as a magnificent, brick deck over looking the golf course. There was a small miscommunication toward the end involving set up for the reception but it was handled and settled very quickly and efficiently. The staff was very courteous and took fabulous care of myself, my Husband and my guests during the reception. The food was excellent, the drinks were amazing, and they more than accommodated my want to not have a sit down dinner.

My friends got married at the Chesapeake Golf Club in October. Traditions Grill catered their reception and needless to say, the food was AWESOME! The portions were plentiful. I enjoyed myself so much that I am taking my mother there for their upcoming Mothers' Day Brunch!

Cypress Point Country Club did a great job making my wedding day a day to remember! The venue itself is beautiful with plenty of space and a fireplace! Anne is the coordinator for the club and made my life easier by helping me keep everything in order! I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a place to house a smaller wedding guest list (i.e. 100)

I am actually on the fence as how I should rate them. First they did an amazing job on our wedding day making sure everything was set and ready. They have a beautiful golf course as well as there building. However, the day before for our rehearsal dinner they didn't have anything but the dinner ready. They didn't even have the area where we were getting married ready. The woman who we had worked with in the past was out on leave and some didn't communicate anything. So me being so stressed as it was started crying because nothing was set and ready. I have never been married before and we had a large group for our bridal party, so we needed to make sure we rehearsed! Needless to say they got their stuff together and fixed it but I was not happy with the money we paid they didn't have anything ready.

Beautiful place for any event, great food, great service. We had no issues at all here. Our coordinator Erin was fantastic, she had all the answers before we had even figured out the questions. Great value, the price was perfect for our fairly small budget for a guest list of about 75 people. The golf course view is amazing too. Check it out!

Rev and Will were absolutely amazing for my wedding! The venue was exactly what I was looking for and the food was DELICIOUS!! I couldn't have asked for something better!!

The event coordinator was WONDERFUL and extremely accommodating!! The prices are incredibly reasonable, and child-friendly ($2.95/plate). My only complaint is that the bar tender unexpectedly served some top-shelf liquors even though my parents (the hosts) had requested only well liquors, so that boosted the bill a bit. However, considering how great the prices were for everything else, it's still probably the cheapest (nice) place around.

Rev at Traditions (part of the Chesapeake Golf Club) went above and beyond our expectations for our wedding and was able to do so within our limited budget. He answered all questions we had, providing details and feedback in a timely manner. He even was able to accommodate our requests for sparklers and a mashed potato bar. Our event was staffed by professional and friendly waitstaff and the food was DELICIOUS! The linens were included in our package and there was no charge for cake-cutting. It was a perfect experience--I would recommend Rev and Traditions to everyone planning a wedding or event.
