About this vendor
Weddings comprise over 85 percent of our events each year. Weddings are one of our favorite events because the atmosphere is uplifting and enjoyable to be around. To provide the best service to our clients we only perform a limited amount of weddings each year. All wedding receptions include the following services:
Professional MC/Host - Music is one small part of your event. Having a master of ceremonies helps your guests know what is happening, what is coming up next and engages them in the celebration.
Music - Everything from your background music, special songs and dance music is important in creating a fun and memorable event for you and your guests. All our music is radio edited, so it is perfect for all ages.
Online Event Planner and Timeline - The event planner allows you to input details about your wedding, such as the first dance song, names of parents and people in the wedding party and more. This allows us to learn more about you and your special day and to coordinate announcements. We will set up a basic timeline, which is determined by the details you input in the event planner. The timeline can be altered by you and we will provide guidance when needed.
Online Music Requests - We encourage our clients to complete the online music requests, as this helps us in learning what type of music they enjoy. You have the opportunity to input songs you would like to hear most and also songs you do not want played at your wedding. You also have the option of allowing your guests access to make song requests in advance of the wedding day.
Event Coordination - On the day of your event, we coordinate with the other vendors to make sure everything goes smoothly, such as providing a copy of the event timeline to the photographer and caterer. Prior to any special dances or moments, we ensure everyone is present, such as your mom and dad or other close family members.

e wanted it. Reasonably priced, very organized, and most importantly kept the party going all night! You can tell he really cares about the couple he is working with, we received many compliments from our guest about how great the DJ was! Truly the best, book him!
Thomas went above and beyond to provide a great selection of music for our wedding that all of our guests loved. His event platform is easy to use and helpful in providing samples ...
of our musical taste for our wedding. He listened to what we wanted and delivered a great mix of music, including latin, which our families and friends loved. He’s professional, a great MC and was a part of our rehearsal to make sure our music selections worked. Super friendly, easy to work with and always willing to talk out any music selections—I highly recommend him for any event!
Thomas was amazing to work with! He had the most professional and helpful website I have ever seen. It provides a timeline, music ideas, and lets you select must plays, if it fits,...
and don’t play. He also was there for the rehearsal and multiple FaceTimes. Also he was very professional, able to keep the crowd involved and everyone loved the music and had a great time. I would hire him for any event I needed a DJ for again 1000%. Thank you for everything we appreciate it!!

eaker, stay organized, and help us have a stress free reception. Thomas checked all these boxes and beyond! All our guests had a blast on the dance floor and our special people giving speeches felt prepped. He ensured our reception was personalized and very us! Thank you Thomas! You played a big role in making our evening perfect.

Thomas was an exceptional DJ for our Schweitzer Mountain Wedding. My husband and I placed a lot of value on the DJ as they really set the tone for the reception and the party. Afte...
r scouring the Spokane/CDA area for DJ's I kept coming back to Traks as his website was transparent, professional, and fun. Music is so personal I really encourage brides to go with their gut but also do their homework. We loved that Thomas was forthright with what he provided, what we were responsible for, and how we would be working together. I have to admit it was a little more work than I expected coming up with music lists, timelines, etc but it was well worth it. I did not have a wedding planner so it was super important I hired trustworthy vendors to deliver on my big day. We had two FaceTime meetings with Thomas- one prior to hiring him and another a week prior to our wedding to wrap up loose ends and finalize timeline. We were confident in his abilities the entire process. He had great suggestions but also gave us our space to personalize the reception vibe and reflect our personalities. He arrived early which also made me relax on the big day. I highly recommend Thomas at Traks-- a true veteran that knows how to keep the party rocking'!
BOOK WITH THOMAS! He did a fantastic job from the date of hire until the end of the reception. He did my wedding, and my sister's wedding (within three months of each other) and ...
both were done perfectly. He understands the flow needed to keep things going during the entire day (music during photos, ceremony, announcements, toasts, first dances, cake cutting, etc. etc. etc.). He worked with my dad on his toast (as well as for my sister's wedding) and took the time to make it really special and unique. I've never heard of another DJ to go that much above and beyond. If you want someone who will just handle the things you don't think about until last minute, who already has you covered and takes the time to understand the "feeling" you're going for, hire Traks DJ Service! He suggested additional up-lighting (which we paid a little more for) but it was KILLER for the photos and the ambiance at the venue. Since we had a winter wedding, we didn't have a lot of daylight, so his suggestion was perfect. He also handled a monogrammed light for the dance floor that he completely handled with another vendor, and it looks awesome. Best. DJ. Ever.
Thomas Shaw, with Traks DJ Company in Spokane, was fantastic! He kept things moving and upbeat. I was pretty nervous about the first dances and he reassured us that at any point we...
could just walk off & he would take care of it. Took the pressure off and we had fun anyway! He really made it a great night!
Thomas, the DJ, was super proffesional at all times. He really knows how to throw a party and we all had a blast. We didn't want the party to end when it was over!
