We had our wedding reception at the Corner Market Buffet. The food was delicious and the all you can drink for $11 was amazing. Highly recommend it.
We got married on the Treasure Island Song Ship, and it was FANTASTIC! Everything was beautiful, the people were friendly, prompt, and knew exactly what they were doing. I appreciated the open communication, quick response via email, and having all of the information that I needed up front.
The only downside was having to get up early the day after our wedding to pick out the photos.
They made our wedding day really spacial, making sure we had everything. The set up was pretty , the people were great!
My husband and I and family members traveled from Pittsburgh to LV for our wedding. We stayed at TI for 6 days, had our ceremony & reception at TI. We felt that the ceremony/chapel staff were great; very professional & very friendly. Our reception on the other hand was not what we hoped it would be. We booked our reception (caterer & wedding cake), DJ & photographer with the TI reception coordinator. We had issues with everything. The reception manager was very disorganized; she mixed up details so many times. Our reception was very small (30 people) and very simple yet unnecessary issues kept occurring. We started planning this a year in advance. We were very specific on what we wanted & did not change our minds so I have no idea why the coordinator was getting so confused & why things kept changing with out our approval or request; very frustrating. The cake looked terrible. We choose one of there very simple designs; it was so disappointing. The food was very good but we didn't have a chance to eat it because the staff took our plates away without even asking (both our dinner & cake). The DJ made several mistakes regarding our song choices. The photographer was rude & obnoxious and offended our guests. The hotel did not make us feel special at all for having our wedding there nor did they offer us or our guests any room rate discount. They said we didn't have enough rooms booked to receive a rate discount. It was very disappointing. I would not recommend TI.
The rooms were nice and clean but nothing amazing. The don't have a lot of food options for real early morning or late evening. Pool was nice.
The hotel is nice enough but there isn't anything special about it. My biggest complaint is that the food is just soooo expensive inside the hotel. We paid $50 for the buffet breakfast on the weekend even though we were hotel guests. I thought we would have gotten a discount or something like everyother casino ive ever been to but i guess not. overall good but like i said expensive!
We didn't want the hassle of planning a wedding, and Treasure Island took care of everything! We had the option to add a few personal touches but we didn't have the worry of dealing with florists, musicians, videographers, photographers, TI did it all! The suite was perfect! We actually had our reception in it after the ceremony. The hotel rooms were quiet and extremely comfortable. Because elevators were designated for certain floors, there was never a long wait. Everything was easily accessible from the hotel and our guests had a blast. The front desk staff and all of the staff, from housekeeping to waitstaff, were extremely helpful.
Treasure Island = excellent. The location of the hotel is superb and for the money you pay the standard is very high. We had 8 rooms here for us and our guests which meant they upgraded us to a Petite Suite for free. They gave us a preferential rate of $700 for the Penthouse for our reception and removed the resort fee for our guests. Free champagne for our room, huge hot tub, service with a smile, beautiful chapel = one very happy couple. Can't wait to return!
I'm so excited to write this review. When we started looking for wedding chapels/packages, we found limited info. on TI. What sold us is their packages. The major things we wanted was a cute chapel, hair and make-up offering. Well we went with the elegance package. There was a slight increase in the fee due to it being on 10/11/12. Our original coordinator was Katie and she was awesome. Due to the limited reviews, I had a ton of questions. She always responded quickly and even offered suggestions if I was looking for some. Then 30 days prior to the wedding, Claudia called to finalize the plans and she informed me that Katie was no longer there :( Claudia knew everything about our plans so there was no disruption. We picked 3 songs (for parents to walk in to, traditional wedding march and walking out song) and everything went as planned. We went down to the chapel the day before just to scope it all out. The manager, Olivia, was there and gave us a tour and also explained how the day would go. She mentioned that they had a lot of weddings but let me say, we never felt rushed. They made us feel like we were the only ones there. I arrived 30 minutes prior and they put me in the bridal dressing room. While I was there, Maria from Cashman came in to meet me and take some pictures. OMG I just loved her, she made me feel soooo special. As we were finishing up, Pastor Mike came in. I can't stress enough how much we LOVED him. He only works on a limited basis but if you can request him, I encourage it. All of our guests loved him. We also had the 30 day wedcam option for our guests who couldn't attend. I loved our ceremony and the team at TI are top notch, please give them a consideration.
I got married at the Chapel @ TI. The service was amazing. They were very helpful, and enthusiastic. The package I got was inexpensive. The only thing I would of liked was car service to get the marriage license.
This was a great choice. I went with the elegance package and added on cake and champagne. The package included the ceremony, flowers for my husband and I, 30 min use of dressing room, my hair and makeup, and a night stay at the hotel. It was worth every penny. Staff were very friendly and helpful from beginning to end.
I was very impressed with the services at Treasure Island and it was a very stress free experience. Great service, everyone was eager to please. Also, the red velvet cake is to die for! Great value!
We were married on the sirens ship at TI on the strip in Las Vegas. That was an amazing experience once it was all said and done and I wouldn't trade it for anything. Getting to that point was a little difficult though. I was passed around to different chapel employees and there were communication issues along the way. And I can't say it was because I was in another state when I actually lived down the street and even had meetings with them in person. Hopefully this was just this situation and being treated like this doesn't happen for every couple.
I planned our near $10,000 Las Vegas wedding ceremony and reception from start to finish from over 600 miles away with email communication and a few photos to make decisions. Being a resort inspector, I spent many hours carefully planning how I wanted our special moment to play out, from the first note of the first song, to the moment at the end of the day where we spent our first evening as Husband and Wife. All I can say is overall: It was well worth the time and money. The services and package offered were amazing and elegant. I could not have asked for more beauty, elegance, and professionalism from a staff that was well versed, on the ball, and very professional! TIs wedding and catering staff were above and beyond. No wonder they only need word of mouth to advertise what they offer. It was well worth the digging to find this Gem in Las Vegas!!
The flowers are exactly what I wanted and they were very flexible especially since I've changed my mind a gazillion time. Only thing I didn't like was the price. I thought it was a bit too much.
There was only one minor mishap that I caught before it became an issue and that was I was booked for my hair, makeup and nails the day BEFORE my weddding. But it was taken care of and no problem came of it. The wedding was organized beautifully.
Jessica Parrot is a great asset to the Treasure Island wedding chapel. She really made the whole experience fantastic. She and I were in contact for about 3.5 months. In that time I sent her a billion emails, regarding any and every question that concerned me. She was always so polite and quick to respond. She really made me feel better about leaving all my wedding planning up to her. She was so helpful and always willing to go above and beyond to make me feel comfortable with the decisions I was making. If you have your wedding at TI, which I also would recommend, ask to speak with Jessica, you'll be happy you did!
great cake
Do not stay here. And absolutely do not even THINK of doing your wedding here.
We referred 30 guests to stay at Treasure Island for our wedding, naming it the preferred hotel for all wedding activities. I am SO EMBARRASSED that I told my guests to stay there. They arrived over the course of 3 days, and NONE of their rooms were ready when they got there, regardless of time or date.
As the bride, this was very upsetting. So was the incompetence we encountered with our own room. We stayed at TI for 10 days, and had booked 2 back-to-back reservations. The front desk said we would have to check out and check back in. (Annoying, but not a huge deal.) However, someone forgot to make a note of this because 3 different maids barged in and told me I had to leave since it was past check out...for the room I was in for 5 more days. Then they accused us of stealing a duvet, going so far as to charge my husband’s card…while we were still in the room, sleeping under the duvet.
As it was our wedding, I got my hair and makeup done at the spa. Rude, rude, rude!!!!!! Overpriced, and overcharged. I had 3 services at the spa, and all 3 "professionals" made fun of me. ON MY WEDDING DAY. To make matters worse, they overcharged me. When they called to tell me about the overcharge, they noted that I had been in for bridal services but that I would have to come back in that same day (my WEDDING DAY) with my credit card to get my refund. If I waited ‘til the next day, I forfeited the refund.
Fast forward, after the wedding. We’re hungry. The room service menu was missing, and the TV menu didn’t work. We had to pick up a dining menu at the desk, because nothing is open late in the hotel. (On a Friday night. In Vegas. No, no one wants food after midnight in Vegas, right?) We call room service, and they LAUGHED at us and said “oh no, that menu is out of date.”
As for the other restaurants, the best place is the deli. The Coffee Shop is disgusting and terribly slow, and The Buffet is so overpriced it makes the already gross food taste even worse. Khotan looks nice, but tastes mediocre. Gilley’s is fun and actually has decent food, and Canter’s Deli is probably the best food and price anywhere around the hotel.
All around, every staff member (with the exception of the catering department, who were phenomenal) was rude, bored, annoyed and just plain unhelpful. Treasure Island scrapes the bottom of the barrel for help, and it shows. It is unbelievable to me that they can charge as much as they do for such a low-quality stay and service. Spend a little more and stay anywhere else on the strip. Or spend a lot less for the same “quality” of service somewhere else.
We attended the bars located within TI and had a very pleasent time.
IT was simple and very accessible to the wedding location.
I arranged everything out of town via phone calls and emails and wasn't sure what to expect. The cake was exactly what I wanted fun whimsical and with a Vegas theme. All they had to go on was a photo I sent via email and they copied it exactly. It was awesome and a big hit with all the guests.
I loved the price unlimited champage and the amount of food it provided.;There's no dancing other people are around and its not very pretty.
Planning my wedding in Vegas was a very painless option for me. My planner was very helpful and went through everything with me. I had a great time.;The only warning I have is that you are putting alot of trust in people/venue to give you exactly what you pay for. I did not visit the hotel before the wedding so I was taking there word on everything.
It was a good location. The food was excellent and they set the room up exactly as i wanted.;If you go here make sure you state that you do not want to be put between two meetings. I was put between two business meetings and the room across the hall was open. I was told to keep my music down (which they meant down so low you couldn't tell what song was on).
The food was great everyone commented on how much they enjoyed the food. Our banquet room was a great size we fit perfect & it was beautiful.;Pricing is not usually negotiable so keep that in mind if you have a big wedding planned. You may find a better deal in your home town.
Everything was included with our wedding package. The flowers, photography, minister...even a car to city hall to get our marriage license!
It had something for everyone to enjoy.
They delivered them to where they needed to be in time.
the itimacy, service, food was excellent and very accomodating to our needs
