How the heck did we do that in Bluffton?
Storytelling is our mission. Finding the heart of a company and shining a light on that as opposed to showcasing products and flashy sales. Less than 5 years ago, our founder was editing videos next to a stack of dirty diapers in his nursery. He now has 4 employees, a new production studio, and has been nominated for Wells County Business of the Year as well as Citizen of the Year due to his philanthropic work during the COVID-19 outbreak.
What does this have to do with weddings?
As we mentioned before, storytelling is at the heart of it all. Through our portfolio, you'll see that no matter what industry we thrive in spotlighting those whose voices deserve to be heard.
It only makes sense that we use our abilities to then weave a narrative of love for the world to see.
What's in it for us?
As a very successful commercial production studio, we can offset the costs of your big day thanks to much larger commercial costs that we see on a weekly basis. Videographers that charge a couple 3-5k don't have that luxury, and therefore feel the need to overprice their service as such.
We simply want to help as many couples as we can showcase their love for one another during what could be seen as one of the darkest times in the history of our country. The world needs to see more positivity, and we plan on being the ones to show them that.

e night, he quoted us 12-16 weeks to receive our video. 16 weeks went by and I didn't think anything of it so I figured l'd stick it out a bit longer. So 5 months after the wedding day (end of June now, i shoot him a text to check on the status and to see if he needs anything from us. No response. Next, l send a formal email requesting an update on the timeline and if he needs anything again.
No response. By July I even sent a follow up email requesting an expected date and again no answers. It is now August and I still have not heard from him. We are out $2100 with no answers in a transitional phase of life and it sucks. All we wanted was our wedding video and to be able to watch our day over. I would not recommend him.

e wedding, two videographers showed up (neither of which were Quinn nor did he tell us he was sending someone else). We were flexible and again, I wasn't worried. After our ceremony, we planned to enter the reception and go straight into the first dance which we obviously wanted recorded. As soon as the ceremony ended, the two videographers left without telling us. They told our DJ that they were running to Walmart to get something. We waited nearly 45 minutes for them to return which delayed our entrance and made our guests very antsy. When the two videographers came back, they had Starbucks in hand and had zero concern for anything. At this point, I was pretty mad. We didn't let it ruin our day and continued. They ended up leaving early. A few days after the wedding, I emailed Quinn telling him what happened. He initially didn't respond and I called and emailed him probably 4 times before he responded. He told me that he had fired the two videographers he sent to our wedding and promised me that there was plenty of footage and he could still make us a video. He also told me he would process a partial refund and that we would have a video in 60-90 days. I appreciated the honesty and was still excited to see the final product. Almost a year later, Quinn has completely ruined our experience. We continued to try and contact him with no response and no video. At one point, I tried finding the Treeboy Facebook page. I quickly discovered that Quinn had gone out of his way to block me. I couldn't find the Treeboy Productions page but my friends and husband could. We decided to take him to small claims court and then he finally agreed to give us a full refund and sent over the footage he had. All of the footage is 3-7 second clips and barely any ceremony footage AND there is no sound. His company has caused us so much anxiety and so much frustration. A wedding is a once in a life time experience and we will never get these moments back. I would never recommend Treeboy or Quinn for any service.

just for our wedding. The pricing and packaging really set Treeboy Productions apart from other companies when I was comparing videographers. The product was incredible, and it was the better decisions we made when planning our wedding. Now we have a fabulous video to share with our family, friends, and future kids to look back on. On top of the amazing product and customer service, we had so much fun with Quinn throughout the day. He hopped into our day, and it felt like he was a part of the family. multiple times throughout the day to make sure we didn't need anything, and even brought us beverages when we were busy. We can't wait to see the video he puts together for us! My only regret is that we can't force him to be part of our friend group- seriously, he's the best.

If we had only one negative from the entire experience, it's that we did have an audio issue at one point during the ceremony where the DJ's sound system was cutting in and out. When we go back to watch our video, we can hardly hear what's being said. Quinn apologized for this and since our wedding, we've seen him "mic up" every other couple individually so this can't happen again.
It's an issue that's resolved for his couples moving forward, but it doesn't make it any less of a bummer for us.

fter my day? It was like everything changed.
I contacted the company and just asked what the rough estimate was- they said 45-60 days. We are now almost at the 3 month mark. The owner decided it would be great to add me on Facebook and then give me some snarky remarks about "if my studio catches on fire" saying how they royally messed up and never had anyone working on our video for the past two months. And said the rough date should be December 1st that the video will be done.
The date of December 1st came around, I waited about another week and then sent an email Friday. I got no response. Send an email the following week, no response. I am not one to get upset about a lot of things and to be honest, I'm not upset that we don't have our video, I'm upset about the lack of consideration and communication. I'm upset that I wasn't valued as a person who paid a pretty penny for a video of the best day of my life and I have been just thrown away. That's not professional. And I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone else, so no do not recommend this company until they learn to value other people.
