We LOVED Trinity!!!!! Everything turned out even more wonderfully than we ever could have hoped for. The weather was nice, so we were able to use the gazebo which was beautiful. The hall was gorgeous, the food was amazing, the staff was attentive, efficient and polite. Fran worked with us and made sure everything went well and on top of all that, it was affordable! Yay!!
Despite finding it difficult to contact Fran in the months leading up to the wedding.. the stress induced by them switching catering companies.. EVERYTHING was AMAZING.
The Hall is Gorgeous and So few people know that it's there. The food was spectacular. We had so many people compliment the food and state how they had NEVER had wedding food taste that good. And that is the GODs Honest Truth. Nothing was dry.. or over cooked.. everything tasted amazing. Even my picky Great aunt whom never gives a compliment said the food was amazing. The catering Staff was absolutely great. They made sure our guests with allergies were taken care of. They made that the parents of a guest with an egg allergy were informed what he could and couldn't have. They made sure my brothers gluten allergies were taken care of, and that he knew what he was able to eat and not eat. They brought out some extra veggies, meatless pasta, and Salad for the table with the two vegetarians, and they made sure our guest with IBS.. was taken care of by bringing him a platter of their turkey without any gravy on it (which would have caused an issue)
We hosted our wedding reception here and it was PERFECT! Fran, the wedding coordinator, was so helpful and easy to work with. We figured out our budget and were able to find ways get the look we wanted. The staff at the hall was all very friendly and helpful, which I really appreciated. I planned the wedding from Iowa, so it was important for me to be able to trust my vendors and be sure that they would do an excellent job. And we had no complaints!
Initially, we chose Trinity Hall because the inside LOOKS beautiful. For us, it was the best way to have a gorgeous reception and get the biggest bang for our buck. The hall has beautiful coloring and a very elegant feel. We also had access to an area outside the hall, with lots of beautiful flowers, a patio for guests, and a gazebo. It was great for taking pictures, especially large group shots (we had the photographer stand on the second story to get everyone in!)
Initially, we were a bit worried that having only one bar would be an issue. However, everything seemed to run smoothly and there were no huge lines. Also, if you'll have little ones at the reception, there's a game room available to keep them occupied - complete with an air hockey table!
The hall partners with catering from Popolano's, and the food CAN NOT be beat! We had chicken parmesan, pot roast, and Italian sausage with peppers. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how good the food was, and how full they all were because they couldn't stop eating it! Our impartial survey seemed to suggest that the Pot Roast was the favorite. We also went with the black tie package, so we had 6 hors d'oeuvres (three hot, three cold), an open bar, and five sweets at the dessert table!
Overall, we felt like everything was perfect. We got a lot more for our money than we would have at most other venues in the area, and the atmosphere was elegant and welcoming. We wanted to make sure that we celebrated our reception at somewhere that felt like a step up from a typical banquet hall, and we wanted to make sure our guests loved it too. Trinity Hall went above and beyond. I would highly recommend using this venue!
After a lot of meetings with managers at various reception hall venues, when my husband and I met with Fran Antone (the Hall Manager at Trinity Hall) we knew that we found someone who was helpful, patient and really good at planning events.
Fran was able to help us along every step of way regarding the reception. The overall set-up of the reception (table settings, décor) was perfect.
Everything was catered by Popolano's, a local Italian restaurant. The food was delivered hot to each and every table (I can't tell you how many weddings I've gone to were I've received a plate of cold food). We received many compliments about how delicious the food was. Also, Fran worked with our budget and found a way in which we could get appetizers for our guests during cocktail hour.
Trinity Hall as a reception venue is absolutely gorgeous. We had the whole building for the night including the upstairs Chandelier Room for cocktail hour which has two sliding doors that lead out to patios. Downstairs is the banquet hall adorned with columns and chandeliers. This hall leads out to a sunken garden with a gazebo (the gazebo can be booked for outdoor weddings) which was absolutely blooming with flowers in early June. The hall is quite large and there is an elevator for guests who require assistance.
