Do NOT use this company for your wedding unless you want to be stressed and annoyed the entire day. It all got off on the wrong foot for the initial pick up. We were running late and I admit that caused some confusion but it really shouldn’t have. I didn’t have my phone on me and missed a few calls from Kevin. They couldn’t find us at the initial pick up place and seemed to be driving around looking for us. The driver should have waited at the pick up spot - becoming a moving target made everything way more complicated than it should have. I called back and said we were running late and to change the pick up location to our house which was .25 miles from the original pick up location (literally across the street…). 15 minutes went by and the driver still wasn’t at the house and then we called him and he said he was 9 minutes away. I don’t know why he was so far from the proximity of our area to be 25 minutes away. He shouldn’t have been more than 3 minutes tops. I also don’t understand why he was even driving around to begin with - he should have just gone to the pick up location and stayed put until we found each other. No one contacted me in advance to review the pick up location to avoid confusion on their end. We were taking photos on the beach during pick up so a normal limo company would have waited patiently - instead they were neurotic and caused total chaos for me.
Once we finally got to the limo, the driver rolled the window down to my groom and said he wouldn’t unlock the doors until we paid. It was outrageous and definitely not the first impression I’d expect from our limo driver on our wedding day. Not to mention I had inquired about paying a few days before (payment terms are not listed in the contract) and was told I had to pay the driver day off. Then followed up even further to understand what payment methods would be accepted. I had been proactive in trying to get the company paid so this behavior was absurd.
I wish I could say the limo itself made up for it but it didn’t. The lights didn’t come on until the end of our trip and no one could get their phone to connect or work for music. The driver asked at the very last 5 minutes if we wanted him to connect the Bluetooth … like thanks, this should have been an initial conversation instead of the “you have to pay!” demands we we received. So we had nothing but the radio for the entire drive. No red carpet service like they sell you on during the initial conversation. And we asked if there were any snacks for my 6 year old cousin and the driver said he usually has some but that he ate them while he was driving around looking for us.
Then during my wedding reception the limo driver called me to remind me (at 4:45p…while we were 10 mins away from our final drop off location) that my contract was until 7:15. Why did he possibly feel the need to bother me in the middle of my wedding with this information!! We were back and done by 6:45p fyi, with 30 minutes to spare.
This company is god awful. Could not recommend less!!!

Ocean Front Park, 221 Long Branch, NJ. We arrived at 12:00pm for a 12:15Pm pickup. The driver waited patiently and saw that no one was around. We started making calls around 12:45pm and and also sent you two emails between 12:58pm and 1:00pm. Finally at 1:30 for a scheduled 12:15pm pickup you phoned and stated you were running late. We waited and then got another call to send the limo to a different address. While enroute to the second location, we were told to go to a 3rd location instead. Our driver, besides driving up and down Route 36 to the many locations we were redirected to, spent a good hour on foot speaking with park rangers and many others trying to locate you. This is abnormal for any wedding party. I dispatched the driver to go to the church in hopes that someone knew where the party was. You dropped of at 6:35Pm at 49 White Street when your scheduled drop off was 7:15PM. You had a 7 hour package which again is unusual. This company has over 25 years in business and not one time has an entire wedding party not been at the scheduled pickup. People run late, there usually is someone there, not a phone continuously going into voice mail. It was your wedding, if you were aware no one would be in the park, why schedule that as a pickup. This was an unorganized mess that you and your bridal consultant(if you had one) created. Don't blame us for your poor planning. We went above and beyond and after nearly two hours of having no clue where you were, we should have left. Even with a substantial balance due, we did everything possible to locate you. The review you wrote makes absolutely no sense and is a total misrepresentation of facts. We were more than patient and I am certain your negative review will be looked at as suspect.
We hired Tru Limo for our 2/25/23 wedding and are so glad we did! We used one of their party busses for the bridal party and two larger coaches to transport guests. The drivers were extremely professional, on time, and knew where they were going. The busses were very clean. I highly recommend them!

We booked an Excalibur around two years before our wedding after meeting Kevin and seeing the car.
Through this process, Kevin communicated well and made sure that we got everything we needed transportation wise and more. My number one suggestion would be to ASK FOR ALEX AS YOUR DRIVER!
The driver, Alex, was the real star of the show. My groomsmen and husband LOVED him! (They rode in the car lol.) Alex was prompt, kind, friendly, positive, and everything went seamlessly. (Mind you I had to change the pick up location 3x times due to different issues with the hotels that were of no fault to Tru Limo.) It rained outside and Alex made sure my dress never touched the ground and helped give ideas to our photographers of the perfect shots to take.
Highly recommend working with them and even more highly recommend asking for Alex!

Our drivers at Tru Limo were absolute angels. We booked 3 vehicles for our wedding (a Rolls Royce, and two stretch limos for our bridal party and for my parents and grandparents) they were not only easy to work with from the start, but on our wedding day we ran into a huge thunderstorm right before our ceremony was about to start. All three drivers escorted me and each of my bridesmaids, flower girl, parents, and grandparents into the church while it was flooding all around us. I can’t thank them enough for all they did. You will absolutely be in the best hands if you book Tru Limo for your event!
Used TruLimo for our wedding transportation (stretch limo, large bus, luxury sedan). They were easy to work with without being overly formalized or stress inducing. Kevin has seen it all in the wedding space and helped us pick the right combination of what was affordable and effective. You often don't see this integrity in the wedding space and it was a nice combination. Highly recommended.
Tru Limo was extremely professional and easy to work with. From the first time I called, Kevin was polite and professional and helpful. I had called to inquire about adding a lead car 2 weeks before my wedding and he held the car until I had made a final decision a few days before the wedding. Alex was our driver for the lead car, and we could not have asked for a better experience. He arrived early with a beautiful clean and air conditioned car. He was beyond helpful with my dress and veil and made the ride to church for my dad comfortable and smooth. Our second driver for the party bus was early and provided a very smooth ride throughout all of our stops. At the church, both drivers helped to open the doors as I walked down the aisle, and I can't tell you how helpful that small detail was. After the ceremony both drivers provided help to us as we took pictures with the lead car and even assisted in our photographers in creating the perfect lighting for out photos. I would recommend Tru Limo and their drivers to any bride looking for a reliable and professional company to make their wedding day stress free! We used Tru Limo for our wedding on July 14, 2019. We booked the Weddings Rolls Royce and the 28 Passenger Bus. Both drivers of these two vehicles were extremely unprofessional and disrespectful to the bride and groom. The party bus driver got upset and yelled at the groom and his groomsmen for turning on the lights, stereo system, and TV on the party bus even though these were selling points when we were viewing the cars the day we signed the contract. Both drivers were unaware of the schedule. Both the bride and the groom had to inform the drivers there was an additional stop before we went to the church. This stop was clearly stated in the itinerary. However, they told both of us we were wrong and then proceeded to text while driving until they realized we were correct. On the contract, it says we had the Rolls Royce booked until after our ceremony ended. However, on the way to the church, the driver kept saying to the bride he would only stay until 4pm and if we want him to wait for us, he would charge us an hour extra. We were having this conversation in front of the church before I walked down the aisle which I believe is extremely rude and unprofessional because you would think the last thing you would want to do is stress out the bride right before she enters the church. He did not discuss this with me in a calm manner, instead of he was yelling and clearly annoyed at the situation. However, I believe this is a miscommunication between the owner Kevin and us because we were transparent with him regarding our wedding timeline. We were clear our ceremony started at 3:30 and would end about an hour later so I do not understand why he wrote “rolls royce terminates after church ceremony ends” when that was never his plan. Since the Rolls Royce driver kept threatening me saying he will charge me an hour overtime if he waited for us after our ceremony ended, I just told him to leave right after he dropped me off at the church.
The worst part of our experience with Tru Limo was our interaction with the owner, Kevin. We went to speak with him weeks after the wedding to make him aware his drivers were rude and unprofessional. He did not apologize AT ALL for our experience and said, “he will not give us any money back just because of attitudes.” You could also tell he refused to believe us. I don’t understand why anyone would take time during their Saturday during the summer to lie about their experience. You would think customer service would be important to any business, especially in the wedding industry but it was clear he did not care about our experience with his company. He just kept saying “he has been in this business for x amount of years” and he does not care that his drivers stressed us out on our wedding day. He did not take ownership of his drivers’ actions whatsoever and again, he never apologize once to us. Both drivers stressed the bride and groom out leading up to the ceremony (groom was in party bus and bride was in rolls Royce). Clearly, Tru Limo’s unprofessionalism stems from the owner and is reflected in their drivers.
Transportation was the last thing I thought would stress me out on my wedding day and therefore I would not recommend any bride/groom to use this company on their wedding day.

e you one hour free, a total of 6 hours. You claimed you only needed the Rolls to get you to the church and when advised it was a 3 hour package, you selected 1PMto 4PM. The contract noted that you since you had to pay for 3 hours, you wanted the car to remain until the end of the ceremony. The car stayed and at 4PM you went into overtime and refused to pay. Somehow, you misunderstood a 3 hour package and believed you could keep the Rolls as long as you wanted. As I advised at my office, you could keep it as long as you wanted provided that you pay the overtime. This was your initial complaint and once you understood your argument was invalid, you went on to state , "well the drivers were rude and I should be compensated because it was my day. Your husband went onto say, "what if I punched the driver in the face. Further documented conversations at the office revealed that both you and your husband advised me that if I didn't compensate you for alleged driver rudeness, you would get 100 friends to write negative reviews on this company.
My drivers have over 20 years experience in this industry and yes, as per our company policy, will collect overtime when due. if you feel it is rude to get paid for services rendered, that is something you need to grasp. Both driver's denied being rude and adamantly state you believed you could keep the Rolls Royce as long as you wanted without paying overtime. Here at the office, both you and you husband made verbal threats and were asked to leave. This company did what we were contracted to do and yes, we have done thousands of weddings and other trips over the last 21+ years and certainly, not everyone is happy. In this industry, for the most part, reviews are usually honest, sometimes a bit emotional but yours in no way reflects this company. As I told your husband when he threatened to have 100 of his family and friends write bad reviews on this company, this company has the experience, reputation and will continue to serve the public regardless of what your review states. Within the last month there were no calls or visits to my office, you got married on 14th of July 2019 and came to see me about this a month later, very interesting.
One of the most valuable pieces of advice I got during my wedding planning was to go check out the limo you plan to reserve beforehand. My husband and I checked out several before decided to go with TRU limo.
We needed a party bus to fit 28 people. Not many companies carry something this size and several of the ones we saw were old and run down.
TRU limo had a brand new bus with a bathroom, wifi, speakers, tv, lights, you name it.
They were professional. Arrived on time for pick up. We were able to make our final payment via CC the day of the wedding. My bridal party and I had an amazing time on the 30+ minute bus ride from the church to the venue. I am even thinking about booking them again for a birthday celebration!
One of my husband's groomsmen used Tru for their wedding and recommended them to us. Of course we researched other limo and transportation companies but Tru fit in our budget and had better reviews. Our driver was on time, helped us in and out of the limo bus with umbrellas since it was raining, and drove well. We definitely recommend booking them!

We had the large (56 Person I believe) bus and our driver was on time, professional and very safe driving through a few narrow back roads late at night. They are flexible and the driver was willing to take as many trips as needed through the night. I would easily rent this service again if I needed it.
I was incredibly disappointed with TRU limo. My dad arranged the limo and everything was great up until the day of the wedding. When we pulled up at the church it was raining and as I was walking in, the driver followed behind me saying “I need a credit card right now, I need payment right now.” I was incredibly flustered and said I’d deal with it after the ceremony. I talked to my dad and he said that the company had his credit card on file and everything had been paid for. He had also seen the bus driver earlier in the day to tip him and nothing was mentioned to my dad at the time about outstanding payment.
After the ceremony, we all get back on the bus ready for a great time. The driver refused to leave until he got a credit card. He was very abrasive and rude to me and my husband. My maid of honor stepped up and started asking around for anyone that had a credit card on hand to just shut the driver up and get moving. Finally, he swiped and card and continued about the day.
The limo was the only stressful part of my wedding day and I would not recommend TRU limo to anyone because of that. The driver was incredibly unprofessional and really stressed me out. I was very disappointed in this service.

Contrary to what you wrote as a review on this company, the facts are as follows: Our driver Stan arrived to your pickup location at 1:12pm for a scheduled time of 1:30pm at the Hyatt Regency at Princeton where he met your dad. After ...
advising him of the balance due, he responded to the driver that he gave you his credit card for payment. The driver then called to the office and asked permission to collect at the church because you were not available with the credit card at that time. The driver advised that while you were exiting the bus, he requested payment and then you advised that you would take care of the payment after the church. Again, when your party was loaded into the bus, well after the ceremony was over, the driver at 3:45pm was given payment via a visa card from one of your passengers. The driver per our company guidelines should not have moved the bus from the original pickup location until the trip was paid for, he did get permission to move the bus with the promise that you would be paying at the church. The only confusion was between you and your father. We provided you with service, we showed up ahead of schedule and even allowed you to go into overtime. Getting paid for our services should not be a dilemma, it is clearly outlined in our contract. We gave you several options to pay and are one of a few companies who even accept credit cards the day of the event. It is unfortunate that you feel the way you do, however we went well beyond the scope and probably should not have moved the bus until we were paid.
Would NOT recommend!! My wedding was this past Friday. I called the week before to confirm my 42 passenger bus. At this time Kevin (The owner) tells me that bus is not working but he will upgrade us free of charge to the 50 person bus. The day of our wedding a 32 passenger bus shows up (which does not fit our bridal party) After arguing with the driver and Kevin on the phone, the best he could do was reimburse $150. We had brides maids sitting on top of ushers laps. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!
We arranged for the 32 passenger party bus which was awesome! They showed up on time, the bus was clean and we hooked up our iPod to play for the ride. They were very reliable and we were extremely happy we used Tru Limo. I'd certainly recommend them and use them again if needed in the future.
Tru Limo was great for our March wedding. They were punctual and easy to work with. They even brought a red carpet and a bottle of champagne to the church for our small bridal party!
Tru limo was very professional. They showed up on time and were very patient through the entire day. They got us to all the locations without getting lost. The cars were in perfect state, clean, new, fully stocked. Highly recommend them to anyone looking to rent a limo!
Driver was very nice and early! However, the air conditioner was not working in the car and it was in the 80s outside! Needless to say, my father and I arrived to the church very sweaty.
Tru Limo was a great catch for getting a party bus for our wedding in June! They are incredibly affordable - I researched a LOT of places and they were the best deal by far. My one fear, for some crazy reason, was that I would be late to the ceremony. Tru Limo didn't just show up on time, they were 30 minutes early outside the house, waiting patiently for us to come outside. I truly appreciated the timeliness and the reliability. Our driver was great, we were allowed to bring a cooler of drinks on the bus with us. Definitely recommend this service to anybody!
You won't go wrong by booking with Tru Limo! We searched a lot of vendors to accommodate a large bridal party and with clean, well-kept vehicles and this was the best around for the price! They were on time and did everything we asked. It's nice not having to worry the day of your wedding, so book Tru now, you won't regret it!
My husband and I booked TRU Limo for our wedding day on September 13, 2014. We booked the 32 passenger Party Bus. It was clean, spacious and on time. Definitely will be recommending to my friends and family.
THey had a nice selection of limos and some of the newest models. A nice selection of cars with the "disco party on wheels" feel and just a classic elegant feel. They also have a beautiful Excalibur that is 100% class for a bride and groom to travel in. The prices were fair, drivers punctual and pleasant.
we reserved a shuttle bus that picked the boys up at the hotel, dropped them off at the church, then came and got the girls and brought us to the church. After the ceremony, the shuttle literally rolled out a red carpet and had champagne waiting on ice for us. The whole bridal party drank and sang all the way to the reception venue! Our driver, Dwayne, was really sweet and gave complete control of the radio from the back. It felt like a party bus, the interior was spotless and perfect for our needs.

The buses are clean, up to date and awesome to party in. Kevin as well as the driver the day of the wedding were great people! They are very easy to work with, prompt, on time and accommodating. At 5:30pm the night before our wedding, my wedding planner received a call from Tru Limo asking for the balance owed. They claimed there was a $500 balance. My husband and I were certain the bill had been paid in full but for gratuity, however, given the short notice and chaos of rehearsal, etc., we paid the bill just to ensure that the service we paid for would be provided. The company waited until the last minute to spring this on us. Would never use the service again because of this issue, but they escorted the necessary family members and bridal party members in a timely fashion.

In response to this complaint, TRU Limousine was contacted by the Bridal consultant to confirm details. The consultant Carol Nagy advised that the groom claimed he paid for the wedding transportation but did not. In fact, we emailed a contract ...
and received a 35% deposit with all the particular information on the balance due. We allowed the balance to be paid at the pickup location and gave a choice of either credit card or cash. The initial payment by personal check was for $240.75 and as per the contract, the remaining balance was to be paid. It appears to me there was some confusion between the bride and groom as to what was paid. We were not paid until the car arrived and that is factual. We have a copy of the check written and I request that the bride and or groom produce any documentation on an additional payment. We provided the service with a new, clean and on time vehicle. We did what was requested, however we cannot work for free. We appreciate the writer getting these facts straight and doing the right thing by removing a negative review

We are very happy we contracted TRU Limo for our wedding day transportation. Kevin helped us choose the appropriate vehicle selections to meet our needs. We selected the Black 2013 Cadillac XTS Sedan for the bride & groom and the 32 passenger party bus for the bridal party. We joined our bridal party after the ceremony and the sedan transported the bride's parents to the hotel. We were very happy with the service. The vehicles were very clean and the party bus accomodated our beverages. The groom made a playlist for the party bus and the driver very kindly helped us set it up for the ride. Both drivers were very courteous. We highly recommend TRU Limousine.
I have heard some horror stories about other limo companies so I was very careful when booking the limos for my wedding. Tru Limo was great from beginning to end! They went out of their way to drive us to a separate site to see one of the limos we were interested in. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the limos were on time and in excellent condition and the drivers knew exactly where they were going. I highly recommend Tru Limo for your wedding or event!

My limo driver followed and attended my every need in those moments right before I said "I do" like he brought me water, tissues, and even poufed my train up right as I walked down the aisle!! My husband and I chose Tru Limo for our recently wedding, against my better judgement of choosing a "knot pick" from theknot.com. Though it wasn't a day ruiner, I regret my decision for this choice. When we called them to set up a limo for our day, the man on the phone was incredibly rude. I was put on hold for almost ten minutes. When I called to verify two weeks before the wedding, the same man answered the phone, and when I said that I just wanted to make sure we were all set, he replied "why wouldn't you be". Still, I pressed on hoping for the best. The reason we chose this company is because they had a little bit bigger limo for just a little less that the original company I had gone with. The limo thankfully arrived on time, but when we entered, the first thing out of the driver's mouth was what the difference was on the bill. He didn't start driving until I gave him my credit card. There was nothing special about this limo besides they had pink napkins in it (which was my wedding color). It looked very used and smelled like cigarrettes. I was extremely disappointed and called my photographer requesting that we don't do any pictures in there. Everyone who rode with me agreed that this limo was not how it had looked on the website. The only positive thing I can say about this company is that the wedding ran a little late, and they did say an extra 20 minutes or so for us to go home. Though I again had to pay him before he would let me in the limo. If you are looking for a limo service for your special day, I would not recommend this company. If I could go back, I would spend that extra $150 and went with a company that was more highly recommended that this one.

rty reserving this limousine requested a basic "airport limousine" as she wanted the cheapest way. The vehcile rented was in fact an old Lincoln as this writer suggests and at no time was it represented as anything but what it was. Again , she wanted a "cheap rate" and infact got our cheapest car, a vehicle used primarily for airports. The vehicle although the olderst in our fleet, a 2003 model Lincoln is in comparison to most vehicles that age is in excellent shape. The vehicle has no rust, no scratches or is in need of any repair. As for smoking, we have a no smoking policy and do not allow smoking in our cars. On the issue of being placed on hold for ten minutes, that is probably due to the high volume of phone calls.Being rude?
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!! i would have given no stars if that was allowed. Not only were they 30 minutes late to pick me up for my wedding ( yes, my husband was waiting at the alter for 30 minutes), but they were late because they driver felt that he had extra time between dropping off my groom and picking me up that he decided to go run some errands! When my mother and I had called to see where the limo was, the OWNER started YELLING and CURSING at us for questioning his business and his employees. When the limo had finally arrived, I had to give him directions every step of the way- as if he didn’t just drop my groom off in the same exact place an hour ago. After the ceremony, my mother ( dressed in her ball gown) and grandfather In his tux) had to unload the guests overnight bags from the limo, as the driver just stood there supervising. When my mom finally asked him for assistance, his response was that it wasn’t his problem. As if this wasn’t bad enough, we had paid for the limo for 4 hours, and when we booked we informed the owner that we would be making a stop between the ceremony and reception for some pictures. He had told us that it wouldn’t be a problem since it was on the way to our reception and since we had the limo for 5 hours. He also mentioned that if we wanted the limo for longer, we could just pay per half hour the day of. Well, when my husband informed the driver of our interim destination he said NO! After a heated conversation with the driver, he agreed to let us go in for “5 minutes, no more, no less.” After our 5 minutes were up the driver literally came into the building we were at and started pulling the wedding party out like a herd of cattle.
When I called the next day to discuss the service we received with the owner, he once again started SCREAMING and CURSING at me. When I stated that we wanted the 20% service fee ( tip) back that was included in our payment he said it wasn’t possible and hung up on me. DO NOT USE THIS LIMO COMPANY!!!! THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS OR THE SERVICE THEY PROVIDE!!!

6 months after using our service, this company received 3 email alerts from different web sites that Kristy Lynn Moody, Linden, NJ 07036 has posted negative reviews about this company. This company did perform wedding limousine services on 8/1...
4/2010. Ms. Moody and her husband Tomasz Kierzkowski contracted a 21 passenger party bus from 1:30pm until 5:30pm for a period of 4 hours, not the 5 hours claimed by Mrs. Moody- Kierzkowski . The vehicle arrived at the above address at 1:07pm for a1:30pm scheduled pickup and sat idle until 1:35pm and then took the groomsmen to the Seton Hall University Chapel as contracted. The Bus arrived at 2:09pm and after the groomsmen were discharged, the bus immediately left for the Belleville location. Our driver left Seton Hall University and headed down South Orange Avenue to the Garden State Parkway and north onto Belleville as directed. We had 1 party bus that made all the stops on our wedding day. The driver was friendly and knew where he was going, even though our get-ready locations were pretty far apart and in the middle of nowhere!
We used the london taxi and all our guest loved the idea, I didn't have a wedding party so the driver was nice enough to get me ready to walk down the isle, he was the one that flaired the train on my dress!
We had 2 other cars for our family, and all the drives were extremly professional and very helpful to our parents and us. Fantantic experience
Limousine arrived early to my house, the driver had directions and took us to every location we had requested with no incident. The limo itself was clean and exactly what we had requested. And the prices were average with other limo companies. No complaints with TRU Limo.
We rented the Jaguar Strech Limousine and the Bride & Groom and their party loved it! The driver arrived early, so we didn't need to worry if he was coming and was in no rush to leave after arriving at the Reception. The Groom said that many of the guests were impressed to see a vintage Jaguar Limo.
I used Tru Limo for my May 2010 Wedding. The service was above and beyond! Our driver arrived 45 min early, which put my mind to ease as I've heard horror stories of limo's being late, and was dressed in a tuxedo, which I thought was a nice touch. Believe it or not, I arrived to the church before my groom. So, our driver circled the block until he was sure my groom was in the Church so as not to let him see me too soon.
Once at the Church, our driver stayed by my side- making sure my dress stayed neat, helped me up and down the stairs, opened Church doors, etc.. We had red carpet service..literally, complete with champagne to toast! I was so pleasantly surprised by his professionalism and kindness. And, most importantly, he made sure my husband and I, and our bridal party made it to the reception safe & sound..and on time!
