Words cannot describe how incredible it was to work with True Event. My husband and I worked with Caitlin to plan our wedding. She is EXACTLY who you want to work with when planning your wedding – she was extremely organized, very efficient, and thought of every single detail leading up to the wedding. Caitlin was so helpful in picking vendors, deciding on small details, and thinking of things I would have never thought to do myself. The day-of Caitlin was an absolute godsend. She kept my mom and me calm and made the day absolutely perfect. My husband and I did not have to think about anything other than enjoying our wedding. Caitlin did SO much behind the scenes and we cannot imagine our wedding day without her and her amazing work. Her assistant Kira was also awesome as well! We would highly recommend working with True Event as they truly made our wedding the wedding of our dreams (and more!). Besides the fact Sarah and Caitlin are great planners, they are also the nicest people ever. Such a dream team! Thank you, True Event!

I truly can't say enough about True Event and working with Sarah and Caitlin! Not only were they so helpful and organized in planning my wedding but they were so kind and personable! I began to think of them as friends! Whenever there was an issue, whether a decor issue or even a family issue, it was so great to be able to text or call Sarah or Caitlin and get their support. I can't imagine my wedding experience or my wedding day without having them as part of my team. They helped to make the day EXACTLY as I had pictured and they made me feel comfortable and relaxed knowing it was in their hands. I wish we could do it all over again!! Sarah and Caitlin were truly amazing! They were able to execute all of the details of our wedding impeccably and provided numerous incredible vendor suggestions. Their patience and demeanor just made the planning process and particularly the day of the wedding so much easier and more relaxing!! Two of our favorite weddings had 1 thing in common, True Event. So when it came time to find a team to help plan our wedding, we knew right away that we wanted to work with True Event and they even managed to exceed our already high expectations. Sarah and the entire True Event team were a dream to work with. From providing recommendations for fantastic vendors to helping make all of the visions for our wedding a reality to ensuring every aspect of the day was flawless, I cannot imagine a better team to have partnered with. On top that their taste is impeccable and they are the sweetest people! As a Bride it was a huge asset to not have to worry about anything day of the wedding, they were on top of every detail!

We were planning our wedding over the course of a very busy year--we both finished graduate school in the month before hand. Caitlin from True Event was amazing at understanding how busy we were and made sure every part of the planning ran smoothly and efficiently. We went into our wedding wanting it to be low-key and Caitlin understood what we wanted from the very beginning. At the same time, she made sure that we had all the pieces in place to make the day run smoothly for us and our guests. Our wedding far, far exceeded even our high hopes and expectations. It was a worry-free weekend of fun. We know that was because of True Event and Caitlin and couldn't be happier we hired her.

There are so many incredible things to say about Sarah and Caitlin, and we are so glad that we had the pleasure of working with them! From the first time we met them, at a coffeeshop in Boston, we felt instantly comfortable. They clearly understood our vision for the wedding weekend, and then worked tirelessly to make it all a reality. Plus, they were so much fun to hang out with! There are so many great things we could list about working with True Event, but some of the highlights include: -- Sarah and Caitlin are sweet, fun, friendly, and easygoing – we looked forward to every email, phone call and meeting! -- Sarah helped us find nearly all of our major vendors, and every single one far surpassed our expectations. True Event has assembled an amazing collection of friends and colleagues, and putting together our “wedding team” from that group was the best decision we could have made. -- Sarah has an amazing eye and we loved her design sense – she listened to our ideas, made inspired suggestions, and then pulled everything together fabulously. -- They were super organized and kept us on track with gentle nudging whenever needed. -- Sarah is very calm and patient, and she put me at ease every time I got even a little bit stressed about anything. -- We were pretty hands on during the planning process, but we learned that Sarah is amazing at handling just about anything that comes her way – towards the end, when we were feeling particularly overwhelmed, we started asking her to take care of several major things on her own. She happily took care of every little detail and made sure that we didn’t have to worry about a thing – with amazing results. -- We loved everything about the planning process with Sarah, but where she was most amazing was during the wedding weekend itself. She handled EVERYTHING – she managed the vendors and their staff, our family members, guests, anything that came up and probably lots of things that we never even knew about – we didn’t have to deal with a thing, and everything went perfectly. We know that Sarah was running around the whole time, making sure that was the case – and for that we will be forever grateful. If we had to do it all over again, we would work with True Event without a second thought!

We had very high expectations in planning our dream wedding. True Event was the most important resource we had to actualize our event. The wedding was truly perfect and exceeded our expectations (while maintaining our budget). We thank Caitlin and True Event for supporting us through the entire planning process and being with us on our wedding day to help the day flow effortlessly. We will forever be grateful to Caitlin for her time, energy, and devotion. When we were stuck on a design idea or vendor, we had a confidant to advise us. When the lovely bride and I were stressed, we felt that we had another trusted friend to support us!

Caitlin from True Event helped me plan my 160 person wedding in a relatively short amount of time (6 months). She assisted every step of the way - everything from event design and coordination, to vendor referrals, to welcome bags, to transport. Day-of, Caitlin made sure things ran so smoothly that I did not waste a single second worrying about anything other than savoring every moment. It is because of her that my husband and I have so many happy, carefree memories of our special day. More than that, Caitlin was an absolute joy to work with - responsive, organized, thoughtful, honest and sweet as can be. I was not a typical bride. I had never dreamt of my wedding day. I preferred, instead, to focus on my career and to daydream about exotic honeymoon destinations. After perusing a few wedding blogs, I soon realized that I was in over my head. My mother found True Events and scheduled an appointment to meet with Sarah True. After my first meeting with Sarah, I knew that I found the perfect person to shepard me through the wedding planning process. She is kind and patient and was able to decipher my feeble attempts at communicating "design inspiration." She introduced me to her talented colleagues and vendor friends thereby ensuring that I would have the best collaboration of talent for my special day. Suffice it say, she delivered. Sarah is as lovely as she is talented and when I arrived at Saltwater Farm Vineyard following the nuptial mass, she had executed my vision to perfection. Simply put, Sarah and her team exceeded my wildest expectations. Importantly, she delivered an event that was truly unique in ambiance. From the selection of custom linens to scouring the country for copper votives, Sarah created a truly one of a kind wedding experience. She understood that the careful selection of design elements would necessarily set the scene for the fusion of two families from different cultures and she respected that every detail - the food, the wine, the ambiance - would serve critically in achieving this goal. She did all of this while being sensitive to and respectful of my budget. She gave freely of her time during the planning process and, particularly, in the weeks leading up to the wedding. Her kind and calm nature is very reassuring in the stressful days and moments leading up to the wedding. I highly recommend Sarah and her team. She created a gorgeous memory for me and my family that we will surely cherish for many yeares to come.

I would absolutely recommend Sarah and her team! I could not imagine having pulled off a wedding at all without her, and it ended up being the wedding of my dreams. Neither my husband or I had been to very many weddings before and had no idea about conventions (which we could choose to follow or not) and had too many ideas but no clear direction. Sarah helped us to identify, among all the specific details of vibe and visuals I gave her, what was important to us and how to achieve it. We live in NYC and I am in law school, and we were planning a 3-day wedding in Vermont with nearly half of the guests coming from outside of the US. We didn't want anyone to have to drive once in Vermont. Logistics, in short, were somewhat difficult. The TrueEvent team was able to help us manage all these decisions and details, and took various decisions out of my hands when I was too busy or overwhelmed to be involved. I was so happy to have someone like Sarah whom I could trust to make these calls for me. Relatedly, I was so happy to have both Sarah and Caitlin on site for the entirety of the wedding weekend. I was able to leave all the execution of our plans to them and enjoy the experience with all the people I love.

I loved working with True Event. Sarah and Caitlin made my entire experience a dream come true and they were so sweet along the way. From helping with vendor suggestions (hair, makeup, flowers, supplies) to really listening to what I was thinking and getting the concept nailed down, they were awesome. As an admittedly spacey bride - too many exciting ideas, definitely fueled by emotion and instinct and bad at things like deadlines and follow-up -- Sarah was everything I didn't know I needed and was so blessed to have. The perfect centering point, the perfect balance, she knew exactly what I needed and gave it, even if I was sending her in a 100 different confused directions. She helped execute a flawless day that will continue to be one of the most important memories of my life. Aside from a great eye, she is your zen. And that is almost worth more than anything else.

True Event, Sarah and Caitlin, listened to our ideas and they were able to bring everything together in a way we could only imagine. The wedding was at our home, and it was truly transformed into the most elegant venue. They were beyond professional, and if I had a question with anything, they either had the answer immediately, or did the leg work. In the process of doing all of this, they were such fun to work with. We honestly missed them when the wedding was over! I would recommend True Event for anyone planning something in the New England area.

True Event did an excellent job styling the wedding. Sarah True allowed us to select the overall theme and style of the wedding and did a beautiful job bringing our vision to life on our wedding day. Sarah and her team worked well with other vendors.

True Event thoughtfully planned and coordinated our wedding. Our wedding went off without a hitch and True Events was there each step of the way to make sure each vendor and element of the wedding was coordinate and executed perfectly. Sarah and Caitlin were tireless and always responsive in making sure our event was flawless. We were married at a 5-star hotel where our expectations were high. We had zero tolerance for any shortfalls in the process and Sarah and Caitlin made sure each tiny detail was done perfectly, from custom candies during the reception, to unique wedding programs and a bespoke cake. For the one event that must be perfect, True Events deserves anyone's trust.

I would highly recommend Sarah and her team for planning a wedding. I hired True event and did not know them other than their website and referrals. I liked the work true event had done in the past so decided to hire them for my wedding. My wedding was at a private residence in Rhode Island and it required building the ceremony and reception from scratch. Everything from the tent, ceremony, linens, flowers, etc surpassed my expectations. I explained the vision and style I wanted to Sarah and Caitlin and they were able to create an enchanting evening. All of the vendors True event suggested were fantastic especially Hanafloral and Leila Brewster. The guests were commenting on the quality of the flowers, food and drinks for months! Her work exceeded my expectations and I would recommend True event to anyone looking for a wedding planner in the New England/ NY area!

From the moment I first started emailing with Sarah True, I knew my wedding planning experience would be effortless. Our initial brainstorming was so much fun; her ability to instantly "get" my vision for our wedding and enhance it with unique, personal touches made me confident that our wedding would be a perfect reflection of us as a couple. She connected us with great vendors and made sure we were taking care of every aspect of planning according to schedule. In the final several weeks leading up to our wedding, Sarah was on hand for just about everything. I didn't live locally to our wedding spot, and Sarah worked with my vendors, my mom, you name it, to make sure everything was taken care of. The day of our wedding was a breeze. Sarah and Caitlin took care of every detail - if there was an issue that happened the day of, I certainly didn't know about it. They were both calm and always had smiles on their faces. I couldn't have asked for a better team, both in terms of their creativity and vision and in their ability to handle the logistics without a hitch. If you're thinking about planning a wedding or anything else in your life I would suggest contacting Sarah True. She basically made our wedding the perfect day (somehow ordering up perfect weather too). When we had a bit of a hick up with seating due to 2 unexpected guests, Sarah handled every seamlessly which made it so that my husband and I could completely enjoy our day without any stress. Sarah's entire team (specifically Caitlin) were also a huge help through out our entire wedding planning and wedding itself.
