Was so happy to find a bridal shop that didn't have commission based sales people! This shop was way more relaxed than when I went to other appointments at other bridal shops. Friendly and family owned store. Nice selection of dresses and they were priced extremely well.
Fantastic bridal shop - I visited while on vacation with my family and ended up finding the most perfect wedding gown. The pricing was much more affordable than other wedding dresses I had been looking at. Great quality gowns - I had trouble choosing between two! I would recommend this shop to anyone in the Lake of the Ozarks area looking for a wedding dress or other dresses.
I visited this store from St. Louis after finding one of their dresses on Pinterest. We went on a Saturday and the store was very busy. Since we had an appointment we were given priority - so I would suggest having an appointment when you plan to visit. I picked out a beautiful wedding dress and was able to take it home with me directly from the store. The dresses were very unique compared to what I had tried on at other bridal shops. The staff was very nice and accommodating. This is a small bridal shop, so don't expect a David's Bridal or big store with thousands of dresses. I had a great experience and my maid of honor plans on looking for her wedding dress here too.
Made an appointment over the phone and similar to a previous review, the dad of the owner was pretty rude. When we arrived one of the first things they told us was, that we are not allowed to take any pictures of the dresses. Described what I wanted, but was only put in totally different styles (wanted A line, was put in mermaids). The only A lines I tried on were for other reasons totally not my style and looked awful. She was friendly, but was also not really helpful. I left there believing, that the mermaid dress would be the best style for me and was so confused, that I ended up buying a dress I hate. They do not do returns, so I lost a lot of money, but I just could not get married in a dress I totally do not like. Good bridal store owners would have realized, that this was not the right dress for me. They just wanted to make money.
Went to a better wedding store in Columbia, MO (David's Bridal) and found tons of A line dresses which actually fit.
The fact that you cannot take pictures is annoying especially, if not the whole bridal party can be there and lead in my case to a totally desperate mistake, which cost me lots of money.
I found a dress I fell in love with on the Truly Bridal Facebook page - I tried it on at the store along with a few others but I knew it was the one. Thanks for a great experience!
I love the wedding dress that I bought here. Friendly store - made me feel very comfortable. They were happy to accommodate my budget and listened to me when I asked for a certain style. At another store they made me try on styles that I didn't like. This was a much more pleasant experience. Thank you!
Fantastic service here last week. Found the perfect dress! Highly suggest this shop if you're in the area and looking for an affordable and high quality dress.
Bought my wedding dress here and was very happy with the overall experience and the fact that my dress was less than $1000.
Love this shop! Family owned business (not pushy sales people). They are always very accommodating and friendly. I say always because not only did I get my wedding dress there but we also went back to buy bridesmaid dresses and tux rentals for the groomsmen. I was able to buy my dress right off the rack the day of my appointment unlike another bridal store I went to that quoted me 3 to 4 months wait time. My dress was only $799! Very happy with this store and would definitely recommend to other brides. Thank you Truly Bridal!
I dreaded wedding dress shopping so imagine how excited I was to meet with someone who claimed she could create the dress of my dreams. I tried for two weeks to schedule an appointment with her (as I'm planning a long distance wedding and was only in town for one week) and never heard back. Taking another approach, I called the boutique directly and scheduled an appointment for the next day with her father (never in the conversation with her dad did he mention my appointment would be an issue). Once my mom and I arrived, the owner's father barely greeted us and said we could look around. He then rudely said I couldn't expect to meet with the designer with only 24 hours notice and she was uncomfortable discussing anything new in her "custom design" gowns. Overall, he was rude, made me feel like a whale (as most of the gowns were not for plus size women even though I called ahead and asked) and only offered to allow me to try on a gown AFTER my mom asked if it were possible. We left the appointment after 20 minutes where I promptly got in the car and cried. Stay away until their customer service gets back on track.
I got so many compliments on my dress, it truly was the dress of my dreams. A custom design, she made it exactly as I wanted, with amazing lace. She was courteous and helpful during our conversations over Etsy, and sent me pictures when she was done. It fit me like a glove, and people are still talking about how perfect my dress was :)
PLUS - a custom designed, fantastically made dress, fit exactly for my body for $798? I couldn't have done that well in any boutique!
This is difficult to review because I knew that I was taking a risk by ordering a custom-made dress online. I found Erin's shop on Etsy, and loved the idea of having a designer dress made according to my dimensions, for a much less expensive pricetag. Having said that, it's imperative to state exactly what kind of dress you want, in extreme detail. I saw the dress that I wanted on a bride and saw many pictures of her wedding, so I told Erin that's what I wanted my dress to look like. However, I guess that the original design of the dress had a mermaid silhouette, because that's what I ended up with (and did not want!!) even though that's not what was pictured. It took two different tailors and more money spent on the dress to finally make it the sheath dress that I wanted. The dress was gorgeous and expertly made, and it's worth it to purchase a wedding dress this way, but only if you're super specific about every part of the dress.
after visiting some higher end salons I was put off by the attitude I encountered. However when I walked into this salon I was treated so wonderful that it was worth the 70 mile drive to me from Long Beach. Pat and Leigh are the sales staff and what wonderful women they are! I felt so special and so well cared for!
They were a 'mom and pop' shop with excellent service. Heads above the other more popular salons that I tried but walked out of because of service.
