I want to help you bring that out in your wedding and for your day to feel uniquely yours! I have always had a passion for the creative arts, event planning, and the magic of weddings. I started out my wedding planning career as a venue coordinator and planner in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. Through this experience, I have overseen hundreds of weddings from the venue perspective and from the planning perspective as that venue offers in-house planning. I’m a huge team player and operate best when wearing 17 hats, which wedding planning absolutely helps me achieve! Each wedding is completely different and I’m always growing (which certainly helps to keep my life full of joy and challenge). dequately convey her magic. I had a great deal of angst about hiring a wedding planner, as this was a second marriage for both of us, and my fiancé insisted it was just a party, and I insisted it was still a wedding. And yes, those initial conversations were a bit tense, but, fortunately, Cassie turned out to be a skilled mediator. Our venue was our backyard, and we both agreed we wanted the celebration to be casual and fun, yet also elevated and memorable. As I searched the many wedding planner options available in the Austin area, the images of Truly Together's weddings expressed so much life and FUN. I could immediately tell Cassie would embrace a quirky vibe with classy details. My intuition was spot on. Cassie absolutely knocked it out of the park. The vast majority of our friends and family continue to praise ours as "the best wedding they have ever attended." The challenge we presented to Cassie was to seat 120 guests for a brief ceremony in our limited backyard space, then quickly turn it into a party that would vibe for hours. Cassie and he staff accomplished this deftly. Minutes after the ceremony finished, the rows of chairs were gone and several "living room lounges", complete with rugs, tables, and perfect decor, as well bistro dining areas, magically appeared while guests were enjoying their first cocktail. It truly happened in the blink of an eye, to everyone's delight.
From start to finish, Cassie was an absolute dream to work with. I am a terrible procrastinator, and for seven months she kept me on time with gentle nudges for each task I needed to complete or decision to make. She is both relaxed AND detail-oriented. The day of the wedding she moved like a ninja to make sure everything and everyone was in the right place at the right time. Little problems were uniformly managed without fanfare, such that the day truly was perfection, and I didn't have to worry about a single thing. My only regret once the wedding was over was that I woudn't get to hang out with Cassie anymore...she's just that cool.
Top to bottom, Truly Together is stellar in every way. Cassie's assistant, Casey, was equally delightful, helpful, and organized, and the wedding day staff were all phenomenal. Cassie and her team have great insight into the best vendors in town, and she is extremely cost conscious at every step. Finally, her fee for her excellent care of us throughout the process was EXTREMELY reasonable. In retrospect, had it been twice what she charged, I still would have felt that I got great value. I truly can not recommend Truly Together strongly enough. In short, they slay, as our kids say.

Melissa was incredible when it came to helping us build our vendor team. Every recommendation she made—from our venue, catering, DJ, hair and makeup team, content creator, espresso bar, and even our vintage cars—was amazing. She clearly has such strong relationships in the industry and such a great eye for vendors who deliver.
One of the biggest things we appreciated was her organization throughout the entire process. She stayed on top of our budgets, contracts, timelines, and all of the moving pieces that come with wedding planning, which made everything feel seamless and manageable. We heard so many stories from other couples about how stressful wedding planning can be, butChris and I really didn’t experience that stress thanks to Melissa.
We also really appreciated her vision and ability to understand exactly the vibe we were going for. Every vendor she recommended felt aligned with our style, and because of that, our wedding had such a cohesive, intentional feel from start to finish.
On the wedding day itself, everything flowed so smoothly, and we were able to fully be present and enjoy the day because we trusted Melissa completely. This peace of mind was invaluable.

On the wedding day itself, Casey was so collected and completely in control. Because of her, I truly did not worry about a single thing. Even when it started to rain before the ceremony, she made sure the rain plan was executed perfectly. She handled everything seamlessly from start to finish, including setup, coordinating vendors, keeping the timeline on track, teardown, and packing everything up at the end of the night. I was able to be fully present and enjoy every moment knowing that everything was taken care of. I really felt like I just showed up that morning and left that night without fully knowing everything that went into making our day so beautiful and that’s a testament to how incredible Casey is.

was quite frankly amazing. There was so many moving pieces, so many people to organize, and we had a more unique ceremony and venue that came with its own challenges. We were working with a shortened time period for set up, because our museum venue was still operating during the day. Our wedding also took place on different floors of the museum. Also, an additional challenge that Cassie handled with ease was that we don't live in Austin, so we can't thank her enough for her flexibility. It was easy meeting with her virtually, and she was understanding when my wife and I had connectivity issues, and we were still able to work with her effectively. She is friendly, thoughtful, patient, and detail orientated. We can't emphasize enough how much her attention to detail saved us. There are tons of things we didn't think of, and we appreciate how thorough she was in her questionnaires and during our meetings. As two queer women, we also felt safe working with her and Truly Together Events. It was a great experience working with her. She made it so easy, and we are so, so happy with how well everything went on our wedding. It was a smooth night, and it's all thanks to Cassie exceptional orchestration. Many people told us this was the best wedding they've ever been too, and a large part of that is thanks to Cassie. o interact with a number of the Truly Together team throughout the year of our planning, though we were lucky enough to work with Cassie Abbott (the owner) and Casey Chambers most directly. Both Cassie and Casey were incredible resources, providing my husband and I with their valuable expertise from day one.
While it is hard to imagine that any event planning service could have matched Truly Together in any regard, their genuine investment in our wedding was so delightfully transparent. Their own joy and excitement for our wedding was an incredible delight, all while doing all of the hard work insofar as finding vendors for us to workin with, playing intermediary between us and those vendors, and ensuring that the day itself lived up to our expectations.
Namely, as a queer couple in Texas, it was uniquely appreciated that Truly Together works exclusively with vendors that are queer-owned or queer-inclusive. At no point were my husband and I concerned about interacting with, or hiring, someone who was willing to take our money but unwilling to recognize us as a couple. All of this is because of Truly Together’s own impeccable values as wedding planners.
I cannot recommend Truly Together enough, and I guarantee that any wedding planned by their team will be remembered well!

Cassie's biggest strength is how she provides process & structure for the wedding planning process. She is extremely organized, detail oriented, and well connected across the city. they made the whole process so much easier. Due to our small guest count, we opted for “wedding day management,” which included a detailed spreadsheet of everything we needed to do on our own before they took over. We were also able to add on “venue selection,” so we could get an expert’s opinion while choosing our venue (I had no idea where to start). We ended up with the perfect venue, and all their vendor recommendations were fantastic. Our caterer even agreed to reduce their minimum just because we were working with Truly Together—we wouldn’t have been able to book them otherwise! Samantha was kind, helpful, and professional. Our whole wedding day timeline went perfectly—we even had a few moments where we were ahead of schedule and I could take a breath! Most importantly, they ensured everything about our wedding reflected who we are as a couple—which is not conventional at all. Samantha wasn’t phased by any of our unique choices (blue dress, no officiant, no alcohol). Our wedding day was perfect, and we are forever grateful to this team for making it happen for us.

The progress meetings were very helpful for keeping on track and moving things along. The venue walk-through made me realize a lot of things I hadn't thought about. Some good tweaks in our plans came out of the walk-through, thanks to Melissa's wealth of experience and lessons learned from tons of other weddings. The day of coordination was fantastic. The month of our wedding, my partner and I had just gone through a tough move out of our house into an apartment on top of all the wedding planning, and we were exhausted. I'm a project manager for my job, so I thought I had the stamina for this all of this, but by the morning of the wedding I was so burnt out that I wasn't capable of making one more decision or keeping track of anything at all. I had mush brain. Melissa and her assistant being there meant that I didn't have to worry about anything and I could be led along like a sheep in her pro hands. I didn't have to be at the venue at all the morning of the wedding so I was able to gather my nerves, relax and get ready with my girls. Everything at the venue was perfect when I showed up and we could focus on the important part- actually getting married. Melissa made sure we had food, drinks, water, everything we needed. She oversaw a room flip, all the timeline of events, and kept us updated about any changes or decisions, of which there were almost none. It just went perfectly smoothly, and if it didn't, I sure didn't notice or hear about it. Also, our elderly parents and family with young kids did not have the burden of staying until midnight to wait for vendors to pack out and to lock the venue. We returned to the venue the next day to cart our things away and do some final clean up, but most of it was already taken care of, which was so nice. Melissa is worth her weight in gold. Aside from being direct, professional, and SO on top of things (project manager traits which I really appreciate), Melissa was also kind, genuine, and made us feel special and cared for. If you don't want a wedding planner because you think you can do it all yourself, or want to save money... at the very least hire Truly Together as coordinators because we consider them the most essential vendor we had.

in the thought of all of our quirky ideas (Kid you not some planners ghosted us). However, the second we had our interview with Cassie, she not only accepted our vision, but wanted to go even further with what makes Keith and Katlyn, K&K!
We knew we wanted to do a retro-gamer aesthetic with tons of puns and nods to our High School sweetheart wedding turned #finallyfitzgerald celebration. Part of that was KNOWING we NEEDED to rent a physical Dance Dance Revolution Arcade Cabinet for our first dance. Did we know how to rent one? No. Were we worried? Yes. Did Cassie literally hunt down an obscure vendor and convince them to buy a DDR Arcade Cabinet, that they ended up adding to their repertoire? Also yes!!! Haha
At every point of the process Cassie was able to focus our vision and make sure it represented us, but didn’t look like a birthday party. It was a tricky balance to strike, but we can safely say her and her team K.Oed it! Every detail was an opportunity to add our K&K story to it and we had an entire army of vendors to work with to execute our shared vision. She was incredibly detail oriented and always jotting things down on her AMAZING ink tablet as we daydreamed of boba tea pearls and breakfast for dinner.
We would recommend Cassie to anyone who is looking for someone who has a non-traditional view of what their wedding should look like.
As for the day of the wedding, Cassie made it effortless and allowed us to be “Truly Together” with our closest friends and family, as well as smuggling us our signature drinks and cocktail hour appetizers. One of our signature drinks were a Moscow Mule, and we found out later that we ran out of ginger beer, and within a moment’s notice her team ran to the store to pick up more without us having to stress!
In sum, Cassie not only executed our vision to perfection, but became a “golden-tier crust” friend to us (IYKYK) with every eye-roll and snarky comment as she wove our story before our eyes. We would not have had it any other way, and hope that you choose to make Cassie and her team your friend too.

Closer to the event, Casey's organization and communication skills proved to be even more helpful. She contacted all the vendors, was in constant communication with our venue, and she came to our final walk-through and rehearsal. She knew the exact plan, including the nitty gritty details, the entire time on the actual wedding day. We had so many comments about how smooth the entire wedding was, and it was due to Casey! We elected to do the style & design package along with the coordination package to help us get a better visualization of our ideas and thoughts for the wedding. This ended up making things a lot easier with other vendors like the florist & bakery because we had a visual package to send them that displayed what we were going for.
During the last month leading up to the wedding Cassie relieved so much stress and work off of our plates and helped to keep us on an appropriate timeline being accountable for getting things finished. There is so much that goes into a wedding that we certainly would have missed without her. On the day of everything went insanely smoothly, we were shocked at how perfect everything came together. Driving away from the wedding we looked at each other and simply said we wouldn't have changed a thing and Cassie played the largest part in that being a reality.
She encouraged us to take a private dinner during part of the cocktail hour for some time to ourselves and to make sure we ate, I'm so appreciative as we would not have had time to eat otherwise and it was invaluable for us to have a quiet moment together after the ceremony. I love love to dance and at the reception every time I would start to think, "I should probably get some water" Cassie would pop up with a water for me. She truly took care of us throughout the entire night.

find a planner that we loved, that we trusted, that we knew would keep our wedding on track and also one that knew our venue (Chateau Bellevue) inside and out. Cassie and Casey at TTE fit the bill 100000%. To say we had day-of planning is misleading as I’m pretty sure we tested the limit on the maximum number of questions we could possibly ask Casey in the months leading up to the wedding. :) She was always quick to respond, thorough with her responses and had a special knack for helping me escape the ‘spiraling’ that can sometimes happen with wedding decisions. TTE provides everything you could possibly need to keep yourself organized, find documents that might otherwise be lost in your inbox and helpful tips and tricks (e.g., gratuity recommendations). In addition to keeping us on track in the months leading up to our wedding, Casey made sure the day itself went absolutely perfect and reflected our vision. As an example, she placed blueberries on skewers for all of the guests water glasses so that our tables had one extra pop of our blue color! She had a way of being there any time we needed her while also working in the background to keep things moving so we could focus on our celebration. They tell brides to be prepared for things to go wrong, and I consider myself lucky that nothing did on our wedding day, and I credit that largely to the incredible planning by Casey and her team at TTE. You won’t regret hiring the TTE team (specifically Casey) for your big day!

who urged me to. I found Truly Together CO and was introduced to Melissa. Let me tell you, after the first virtual meeting I had with her... I knew that I needed her expertise. If I am being totally transparent, the main reason I initially went with Truly Together CO was because they were affordable. But once I met Melissa, I knew I made the right decision. From the jump, she was honest and upfront. You could tell she truly wanted to bring my vision to life, although at the time I was not even sure what exactly that was. They provide you with a portal that helps you consider EVERY single thing that could/would happen at a wedding and it allows you to stay very organized throughout the crazy process of planning a wedding. I emailed her constantly throughout the whole process looking for guidance and I always received an answer same day. I never thought twice about much of anything because selfishly.. I knew Melissa would make sure it was handled.
When the wedding weekend finally came, she was on top of EVERYTHING. I had random guests coming up to me complimenting how hard Melissa and her team were working to ensure everything went smooth (she even made sure the groom and I had our drink of choice in hand and all of our stuff was packed away in our cars when it was time to leave).
My wedding was 10 times better than I ever could have dreamed; and I believe I owe 99.9% of that credit to Melissa and Truly Together Co. Without them, I do not believe our wedding day would have been near as beautiful, organized and fun.

and we haven't ever done it before. We worked with Cassie and her team for 18 months, planning our wedding. She was exactly who we needed, an intentional, organized, thoughtful human who went above and beyond to include our LGBTQ+ and BIPOC family and friends in a meaningful way.
Cassie helped us facilitate finding a venue, encouraged us through all the negotiations, played everything down to the minute, and even helped my parents understand all the various gratuities on our big day: truly full service! We even asked her team to help us with the rehearsal dinner and welcome party (drinks & desserts!) because they had already made such an impact on our reception; why wouldn't we want their help the whole weekend?!
She helped us and our parents all enjoy the weekend. If anything went wrong, I had no clue; I was too busy dancing and being in the moment. Cassie and her team do exactly that: give you the peace of mind to be present at your wedding.
From what we heard from our other vendors, from DJs to photographers, it is clear that she is fantastic not just to the couple but to everyone she works with.
