We chose to work with Melissa for month of/day of services for our big day. Prior to contacting her, I had contacted at least 7 different wedding coordinators and decided to go with Melissa/ Truly Together Event Co due to prices and a great initial conversation with Melissa who seemed to get our vision. Throughout the planning process, Melissa was great. She was organized and very on top of communication which was important for someone like me who is also a Type A planner. Would highly recommend working with Melissa and her team!

We can't recommend Cassie and team more! We wanted to have an Austin wedding but aren't from the area. Cassie & the Truly Together team helped us in so many ways throughout the planning process and the day of the wedding, making it so much less daunting to plan. Cassie's biggest strength is how she provides process & structure for the wedding planning process. She is extremely organized, detail oriented, and well connected across the city. This helped us tremendously - from finding the venue to managing guest lists, negotiating vendor contracts, thinking about the "gotchas", common slip ups in the process, and more, Cassie put us in a much better position than we would have been in ourselves. We worked with Casey Chambers for our daughter's wedding planning (full service package), and she was absolutely great to work with this last year from start to finish! Casey was extremely organized from the start, and our planning sessions throughout kept us on schedule and feeling comfortable every step of the way. She was very organized in vendor referrals and timelines, and brought us some excellent vendors that meshed perfectly with what the bride and groom's vision was for with their wedding day (and kept us on budget as well!). On the big day, Casey made sure everything was set up how we wanted, and kept everything running smoothly all night long. Melissa was incredibly helpful and detail oriented, got answers quickly and efficiently, was a huge help, and always had our best interest at the forefront of her mind. Our wedding day went exactly according to plan and she made sure my husband and I had the best experience possible.

We hired Melissa to be our wedding coordinator and couldn't be happier. All of the pre-wedding online meetings and resources gave us a great starting point to begin planning our wedding. I have never been involved in planning a wedding before my own, so I wouldn't have known where to start otherwise. The progress meetings were very helpful for keeping on track and moving things along. The venue walk-through made me realize a lot of things I hadn't thought about. Some good tweaks in our plans came out of the walk-through, thanks to Melissa's wealth of experience and lessons learned from tons of other weddings. The day of coordination was fantastic. The month of our wedding, my partner and I had just gone through a tough move out of our house into an apartment on top of all the wedding planning, and we were exhausted. I'm a project manager for my job, so I thought I had the stamina for this all of this, but by the morning of the wedding I was so burnt out that I wasn't capable of making one more decision or keeping track of anything at all. I had mush brain. Melissa and her assistant being there meant that I didn't have to worry about anything and I could be led along like a sheep in her pro hands. I didn't have to be at the venue at all the morning of the wedding so I was able to gather my nerves, relax and get ready with my girls. Everything at the venue was perfect when I showed up and we could focus on the important part- actually getting married. Melissa made sure we had food, drinks, water, everything we needed. She oversaw a room flip, all the timeline of events, and kept us updated about any changes or decisions, of which there were almost none. It just went perfectly smoothly, and if it didn't, I sure didn't notice or hear about it. Also, our elderly parents and family with young kids did not have the burden of staying until midnight to wait for vendors to pack out and to lock the venue. We returned to the venue the next day to cart our things away and do some final clean up, but most of it was already taken care of, which was so nice. Melissa is worth her weight in gold. Aside from being direct, professional, and SO on top of things (project manager traits which I really appreciate), Melissa was also kind, genuine, and made us feel special and cared for. If you don't want a wedding planner because you think you can do it all yourself, or want to save money... at the very least hire Truly Together as coordinators because we consider them the most essential vendor we had.

Cassie and her team at Truly Together made the best party/wedding ever. We initially chose them because they were loudly and proudly LGBTQ+ supportive. We loved that they shared our values with vendors (all being LGBTQ+ and allies) and vetted all of the vendors to make sure they were the right fit. Cassie was attentive, supportive, CREATIVE and responsive through our 18 month planning process. She steered us in the right direction, on a feasible timeline, she designed a BEAUTIFUL wedding and it all ran super smoothly. She made our wedding so special and listened to all of our needs and desires.

She kept us on track with our planning, was super responsive, and allowed us to be hands off on the day of the wedding to really enjoy ourselves. It seemed like she was always at least 5 steps ahead. There were zero details missed and her recommendations/suggestions pulled my wedding together. Our wedding planner Melissa Eagen and her team did an incredible job at our wedding. She executed our vision perfectly! We worked with Casey Chambers with the "Wedding Day Management" package, and she was absolutely amazing! She was extremely organized from the start, and our first planning session was very helpful. The forms that they sent kept us on track with hiring vendors and completing our to do list. Closer to the event, Casey's organization and communication skills proved to be even more helpful. She contacted all the vendors, was in constant communication with our venue, and she came to our final walk-through and rehearsal. She knew the exact plan, including the nitty gritty details, the entire time on the actual wedding day. We had so many comments about how smooth the entire wedding was, and it was due to Casey! We worked with Cassie, the owner of Truly Together Event Co. as our coordinator for our wedding and the only thing we would change is hiring Cassie sooner. She saved us numerous times throughout the planning process catching little details and saving us money. Cassie is incredibly professional and friendly, very prompt in her responses and easy to bounce ideas off of. We elected to do the style & design package along with the coordination package to help us get a better visualization of our ideas and thoughts for the wedding. This ended up making things a lot easier with other vendors like the florist & bakery because we had a visual package to send them that displayed what we were going for. During the last month leading up to the wedding Cassie relieved so much stress and work off of our plates and helped to keep us on an appropriate timeline being accountable for getting things finished. There is so much that goes into a wedding that we certainly would have missed without her. On the day of everything went insanely smoothly, we were shocked at how perfect everything came together. Driving away from the wedding we looked at each other and simply said we wouldn't have changed a thing and Cassie played the largest part in that being a reality. She encouraged us to take a private dinner during part of the cocktail hour for some time to ourselves and to make sure we ate, I'm so appreciative as we would not have had time to eat otherwise and it was invaluable for us to have a quiet moment together after the ceremony. I love love to dance and at the reception every time I would start to think, "I should probably get some water" Cassie would pop up with a water for me. We hired Casey at Truly Together Event Co. for day-of wedding planning and truly cannot imagine this wedding without her help and guidance. It was extremely important to us that we find a planner that we loved, that we trusted, that we knew would keep our wedding on track and also one that knew our venue (Chateau Bellevue) inside and out. Cassie and Casey at TTE fit the bill 100000%. To say we had day-of planning is misleading as I’m pretty sure we tested the limit on the maximum number of questions we could possibly ask Casey in the months leading up to the wedding. :) She was always quick to respond, thorough with her responses and had a special knack for helping me escape the ‘spiraling’ that can sometimes happen with wedding decisions. TTE provides everything you could possibly need to keep yourself organized, find documents that might otherwise be lost in your inbox and helpful tips and tricks (e.g., gratuity recommendations). In addition to keeping us on track in the months leading up to our wedding, Casey made sure the day itself went absolutely perfect and reflected our vision. As an example, she placed blueberries on skewers for all of the guests water glasses so that our tables had one extra pop of our blue color! She had a way of being there any time we needed her while also working in the background to keep things moving so we could focus on our celebration. They tell brides to be prepared for things to go wrong, and I consider myself lucky that nothing did on our wedding day, and I credit that largely to the incredible planning by Casey and her team at TTE. You won’t regret hiring the TTE team (specifically Casey) for your big day!

The entire TTE team (and Melissa specifically) was absolutely amazing!!!! My wife and I booked them for Wedding Day Management initially thinking that we'd be mostly on our own leading up to the wedding and that they'd assist just on the wedding day really, but we could not have been more wrong!! In the months leading up to the wedding, Melissa met with us and emailed with us to make sure every detail of our wedding was in line with our vision. She asked our vendors questions I never would have thought to ask (but that reduced SO much anxiety), and I felt exciting and confident on our wedding day knowing that we were in great hands with Melissa and the rest of the TTE team. Our wedding day was absolutely magical, and I truly believe that was due to Melissa's creativity, insight, resourcefulness, attention to detail, and overall amazingness!! We cannot thank y'all enough!!!!

When I first got engaged.. I was putting my budget together and thought that hiring a wedding planner was unnecessary. I had no intentions of doing so until I spoke with a friend who urged me to. I found Truly Together CO and was introduced to Melissa. Let me tell you, after the first virtual meeting I had with her... I knew that I needed her expertise. If I am being totally transparent, the main reason I initially went with Truly Together CO was because they were affordable. But once I met Melissa, I knew I made the right decision. From the jump, she was honest and upfront. You could tell she truly wanted to bring my vision to life, although at the time I was not even sure what exactly that was. They provide you with a portal that helps you consider EVERY single thing that could/would happen at a wedding and it allows you to stay very organized throughout the crazy process of planning a wedding. I emailed her constantly throughout the whole process looking for guidance and I always received an answer same day. I never thought twice about much of anything because selfishly.. I knew Melissa would make sure it was handled. When the wedding weekend finally came, she was on top of EVERYTHING. I had random guests coming up to me complimenting how hard Melissa and her team were working to ensure everything went smooth (she even made sure the groom and I had our drink of choice in hand and all of our stuff was packed away in our cars when it was time to leave). My wedding was 10 times better than I ever could have dreamed; and I believe I owe 99.9% of that credit to Melissa and Truly Together Co. Without them, I do not believe our wedding day would have been near as beautiful, organized and fun. If you are on the fence, this is your sign! I promise that Cassie and the entire Truly Together team are the people you are searching for. For most of us, this one-time event is the most significant event we will ever plan, and we haven't ever done it before. We worked with Cassie and her team for 18 months, planning our wedding. She was exactly who we needed, an intentional, organized, thoughtful human who went above and beyond to include our LGBTQ+ and BIPOC family and friends in a meaningful way. Cassie helped us facilitate finding a venue, encouraged us through all the negotiations, played everything down to the minute, and even helped my parents understand all the various gratuities on our big day: truly full service! We even asked her team to help us with the rehearsal dinner and welcome party (drinks & desserts!) because they had already made such an impact on our reception; why wouldn't we want their help the whole weekend?! She helped us and our parents all enjoy the weekend. If anything went wrong, I had no clue; I was too busy dancing and being in the moment. Cassie and her team do exactly that: give you the peace of mind to be present at your wedding. From what we heard from our other vendors, from DJs to photographers, it is clear that she is fantastic not just to the couple but to everyone she works with.

Fantastic event planner! The one piece of advice I received from anyone I asked when starting to plan our small wedding was "get a planner/day of coordinator". I'm SO happy that I did! Cassie was so communicative, as was Casey, our coordinator. Casey really made everything happen and was so kind and helpful, especially during the moments I felt overwhelmed. Let me start by saying that my wedding would NOT have happened without Melissa. I hired her ONE MONTH before the wedding. This is after going through 4 month of coordinators. I wish I could say it was my fault for being a bridezilla. Melissa hit the ground running right after our first meeting. I’m a project manager professionally and thought I had everything covered. I DID NOT. Melissa thought of so many things I didn’t think of and provided so many suggestions. My wedding day went 100% smoothly all because of her. I cannot recommend her enough.

Truly Together Event Co - Wedding Planner, Cayce Donnelly We were so impressed with Truly Together Event Co. We purchased their “Wedding Day Management” plan and chose Cayce Donnelly as our planner. Our wedding was on November 26, 2022 and they helped us get started as soon as we booked them in February. Their online portal is SO helpful and everything you need in terms of planning. I can’t emphasize how kind and patient Cayce is — she is truly amazing at what she does and has such a calm demeanor. She always quickly responded to my messages (and evening texts) and made us feel so comfortable. We had a lot on our timeline and she managed the day so seamlessly. My entire family and wedding party loved her! If you're looking for a planning company, you can't go wrong with this one :)

Working with Cassie over the past year has been a joyful experience. Cassie is BEYOND respectful and we cannot express our gratitude for her integrity and honesty about planning our wedding. Cassie will keep your ideas moving forward, make immediate pivots when changes inevitably occur, and produce the wedding that you have envisioned. My partner and I were very impressed by the multitude of vendors, family members, and friends who expressed how amazing our planner was after working and interacting with her. Cassie and her team is worth every penny! Originally, almost all my friends who got married before me told me a wedding planner wasn't worth it. But let me tell you why you need a wedding planner, especially if you have a job, are studying / applying / have anything else going on in your life: -She not only helped me get my dream wedding together by taking care of all the details tirelessly throughout the entire process -She connected me with the best budget friendly vendors and not only that but she shared insights with me that really help make impactful decisions (for example: DJ's who actually mix their own tracks as opposed to by-hire DJ's who just show up on the day of and play whatever) -People say the day of your wedding flys by and it sure does, but I can say I wasn't stressed about anything except not tripping on my own dress and saying my vows in person. -I had a cultural element to my wedding that Cassie went above and beyond to cater to and include.

Despite all the positive reviews, I was not convinced that we weren't overpaying for wedding planning help. Even throughout the months leading up to the wedding, we were still doing a lot of the planning and organizing on our own, and I wasn't sure if it was worth it. But wow, come wedding day, Casey proved why they are worth all those 5-star reviews and the price. There were so many details, big and small, which were just handled perfectly without us even knowing. From getting the band set up to changing the entire catering layout on the fly, we didn't realize until after the fact how much of the logistics Casey handled expertly without our even knowing. Thanks, Casey, for letting us be present and enjoy our wedding day rather than focusing on all the tiny details. We couldn't have done it without you.

TLDR: Book Cassie now! You won't be disappointed. Hiring Truly Together was the best wedding decision we made, and 10000% worth every penny. Why we love TT and Cassie so much: Before the wedding: As two very Type A brides, we were so stoked to find a queer wedding planner who was fun but also detail oriented. We were awestruck at how together and on top of everything Cassie and her team were. She not only planned our wedding, and countless other couples, but she ALSO planned her own wedding between the time we signed with her and our wedding date, and not once did we feel like we weren't being prioritized. She was so thorough in her planning and working out our wedding details that we were able to rest easy knowing she had our back. She even managed our moms with such grace and ease (honestly if you weren't convinced before this, what else do I need to say?). My now wife didn't think we needed a wedding planner at the beginning, but since booking Cassie she has said countless times that she was wrong and that we did NEED Cassie and her team. Cassie negotiated with our venue when they were being difficult and created so many work arounds for things we were worried about. She also transformed our venue into our literal pinterest board!!! On the day of: There was a 0% chance of rain on our wedding day, and only clear skies on the weather radar, however it started pouring just as our ceremony started (which was all outside). But Cassie and her team were ON IT. She was able to get umbrellas for the guests with babies, and me and my wife (which made for the sweetest pictures). I said that I was worried about my hair once it started raining and she spent my entire ceremony calling Hair and Make-Up teams that could come asap so I could still look pretty for the rest of the evening. There are countless more things that she did that made our day perfect- like giving me an extra pair of her own socks when I decided to do a random outfit change because my dress was soaking wet, but no need to go on, you get the picture. Thank you so much for making our wedding day so special, Cassie, we're so grateful for you!

Cassie was the first vendor we signed on when we started planning our wedding a little over 2 years ago. I truly (pun intended) believe that it was the best decision we made in our wedding planning process. We interviewed several wedding planners and Cassie really stood out to us because of her depth of experience and recognition of several Chinese and Vietnamese cultural traditions we wanted to incorporate into our wedding. Throughout the planning process, she curated our design and vendors list to match our budget and more importantly values. We opted for the full planning package and everything came together beautifully on the day of. Our wedding day (and most of the planning process) was stress-free and a lot of fun. Cassie and Patricia did an amazing job pulling all the details together and managing our vendors. Afterwards, man of our wedding guests told us how organized and seamless the wedding was. All in all, we 1000% recommend Cassie and her team.

tldr 10/10 recommend. If you want a gorgeous wedding without the stress of planning it, call Cassie and team. We used Cassie's full wedding planning services and I am so glad that we did, I was blown away by how intuitive and seamless the process was.  My husband and I work long hours and did not have the energy to dedicate to planning the type of wedding we wanted (and also didn't have a lot of vision for what we wanted). Cassie charted out the process and held our hand each step of the way. She helped us figure out what we wanted to prioritize for our wedding day and she filled in all of the other details. She did all of the admin/leg work so we got to just focus on making the big fun decisions. and not get bogged down in the details. Vendors love working with her as well so sometimes you get discounts because she is your planner. She even provided recommendations for non-wedding day events like our after-party and rehearsal dinner. The day of our wedding was PERFECT, in fact it was better than I could have imagined and Cassie* made that happen. *Cassie and her team - specifically shout out to Patricia! **She is truly LGBTQ friendly, and is very intentional about not assuming gender roles, which was a breath of fresh air.

Melissa was so amazing. We're not the easiest to work with. We're not good with deadlines, details, or decisions, but thanks to Melissa, no one would have ever known. Would recommend Truly Together to anyone who needs a right hand or in my case... both hands.

Working with Melissa was the best decision we made for our wedding! She was spectacular from the start. We are SO glad we chose to go with Truly Together because Melissa really made our lives so much easier throughout our entire planning process. The call was so easy and our chat felt so genuine that I knew that they were the right choice. Once we officially selected Truly Together, we were partnered with our coordinator Melissa. Since we decided to have Melissa as our coordinator and not a full-on planner, we honestly did not expect the level of support and attentiveness she provided to us throughout the entire (almost) year we worked together! We assumed that she would be involved during the last month or so leading up to the wedding, but we were extremely impressed and grateful for the amount of support she gave even in the early stages of planning. Not only did we start drafting a timeline out with her almost 10 months in advance, but she also provided a whole arsenal of planning resources and checklists in case we needed them. Throughout the planning process, we would reach out for vendor recs and was always amazed not only by Melissa's super quick response times, but also by the thoughtfulness you could tell she put into her response. Fast forward to wedding day - Melissa and her team were so wonderful that many of our guests went out of their way to let us know. We had a packed wedding day, as we not only had the ceremony and reception in the late afternoon/evening, but also included a traditional tea ceremony earlier in the day. The Truly Together team made the transitions from event to event seamless. Even when we were running behind schedule, there was never any panic or sense of stress. They somehow got us back on track and we never felt pressured or rushed. Overall, I am truly impressed with Melissa's magic. She was so easy to work with and really did give us a carefree experience on our wedding day that we will always be so grateful for. I would definitely recommend her again and again and again!

To fully express how grateful we are for Cassie & her team would require more words than character count allows (I learned this), but to summarize, I believe there's no better wedding planner in all of Austin. Hiring Cassie was THE best decision we made (& the best money we spent) in the entire planning process. My now husband & I interviewed two other full-service planners before meeting w/Cassie -- what we quickly realized is that 'full service' does not mean the same thing across the profession. The first two planners had around 30 & five weddings under their belts respectively, while Cassie has to have done over 300 weddings by now. She had impressive answers to all our questions & asked us questions about details we'd not even thought of. It was clear from the beginning she was incredibly well connected in the Austin wedding world & a seasoned, meticulous planner. The kicker? She charged a full $2,000 LESS for her services than the previous two planners we met with, both of whom were significantly less experienced. Here's a robust (but not comprehensive) list of resources, services, & support Cassie & her assistant, Casey, provided: a detailed timeline & checklist of to-dos for the entire planning process, a vendor comparison tracker, a vendor tipping guide, thorough questionnaires for us to get a good picture of our relationship, our vision, our wedding party, & the culture we wanted to create on our wedding day, vendor proposals collection & contract reviews, vendor & venue communication & coordination, payment reminders, support & advice on personal concerns, quick responses to our many questions around details & logistics, catering tasting attendance, venue walkthroughs, rehearsal coordination & attendance, & as close to perfect day-of execution as I imagine you can get (which was our #1 priority). Other things we appreciated about working with Cassie: 1) She wasn't afraid to push back on us when we came to her with ideas that she knew weren't ideal or wouldn't work logistically. 2) She was mindful of our budget the entire way. Early on, we really had no idea how much a wedding like ours would cost or what our budget should be. Turns out, the original number we gave her was way off. When we started asking for things that would've pushed us over that original budget, she pushed back. After we let her know we had some wiggle room & didn't care about going over, she adjusted her guidance & suggestions accordingly. 3) She was no nonsense. It was great having someone who wasn't afraid to get serious & give our wedding party tough love when needed. 4) She allowed us to be very hands on. My husband & I are both detail-oriented people & type-A perfectionists, so we had a lot of notes, questions, & specific requests for just about everything, from florals & curating the perfect food & drink menus to the tiniest details around signage, linens, décor, etc. We thought that probably made us difficult/annoying clients, but Cassie told us we weren't even in her top 10 pickiest couples (I take that to mean we were #11 hehe). I imagine she's worked with clients ranging from totally hands off to totally hands on -- she'll accommodate whatever involvement you want ... as long as you trust her :) Which we 100% did! The greatest gift Cassie & Casey gave us was the ability to be fully in the moment the entire night. They took care of everything so all we had to do was celebrate each other & make once-in-a-lifetime memories with our loved ones.

I don't even know where to begin with our lovely, hard working, responsive, detail oriented planner Casey... She was our behind the scenes guru, fixed our wedding and reception exactly how we envisioned, and helped us every step of the way. There were a few bumps in our planning process, but Casey worked them out with us and made it feel like it never happened. We had many guests tell us how much they loved our wedding (you're thinking of course they're going to tell you that, it was YOUR wedding), but think again. We have brutally honest friends and they do not hold back. They could not, and still can't, stop talking about our wonderful day. We are 100% positive it is because of Casey and her wonderful work. Stop looking for another company, GET CASEY and your dreams will come true with ease!!

This review is long overdo, but we had to come back to write this because Cassie and her team deserve so much praise. We hired Bride's Best Friend because my fiance, now husband, said it would be easier if we hired a full-service planner to take the reigns of our wedding. At first we thought we could handle the planning, but because we work in the health industry, it was very hard to find the spare time to do such. Oh my goodness, we are so glad we did. We interviewed a few planners, but after we talked with Cassie, we immediately knew BBF was the right person for our wedding. Cassie and her team did everything for us and did such an amazing job honing in on all the details to make our wedding the dream wedding it was. We had a small intimate wedding so it was important that attention to detail was taken into consideration and oh did Cassie deliver. She was very organized and we had zoom meetings to discuss each aspect of the wedding. The vendors she helped us choose were absolutely fantastic and everyone that attended could not stop saying how great of an event our wedding was. In all honesty our wedding would not have happened without her so trust me when I say you will not regret hiring BBF for your wedding planning needs. We had Cassie and her team help plan our wedding from start to finish and the word amazing to describe what they did just doesn't seem big enough. They did a phenomenal job! They were on top of things and executed everything with ease. We were one of those couples that did not have an idea of what we wanted when we went into planning a wedding , but Cassie and her team were ever so patient, lead us in the right direction when we it came to vendors, and gave her honest experienced opinion whenever needed. We would absolutely recommend her and her team to anyone needing a wedding planner! They knocked it out of the park and our wedding day could not have been more perfect!

We tried to plan our wedding for a few weeks... and quickly realized we needed help. After interviewing what felt like all the planners in Austin, I spoke with Cassie. Before we hired her, she shared nuggets of wisdom and problem-solving tips. I knew that's the kind of planner we needed! Cassie and Patricia helped us find our perfect venue, vendors, and answered our millions of questions along the way. Our wedding day was completely stress-free because Cassie + Patricia managed every tiny detail from timing to passing me glasses of water on the dancefloor, to packing everything up in our getaway car! They told us about minor mishaps only after we got back from our honeymoon. We got TONS of compliments about them from the guests. Everyone was so glad to have their help and organization. 10/10 would hire again!!

Cassie was fantastic. She was great at working with both my wife and I on our atypical wants and taking our input to create a beautifully wonderful day. By getting to know us, Cassie struck a great balance of feeling like we could make decisions without a ton of work, burden, and stress. On the day of, everything ran smoothly thanks to Cassie's planning and organization. My wife and I are so happy we had Cassie as our planner. She is an excellent wedding planner and an awesome person.

Patricia and Cassie were amazing from first point of contact!! They both listened to all my weird concerns, were attentive to the small things that were important to me and made my day so effortless. Patricia was a rockstar day of, taking care of many issues before I even knew about them and she was super attentive to me and Greg making sure WE had our best day ever. I cant recommend BBF enough or thank them adequately for what they did to make my wedding day truly OUR day and a treasured memory.

Casey was absolutely amazing as our day of coordinator. She took the stress off my shoulders and even handled all the unavoidable hiccups with ease. Even as a DIY bride, it’s important to have someone in your corner the day of that knows exactly what to do when things go awry. Trust me when I say Casey is the best person for the job! Prior to our big day, she was extremely communicative and did an amazing job ensuring all of our vendors had a copy of our timeline and an understanding of what was being expected from them. She had two assistants with her on the day of our wedding that were also phenomenal. Casey is amazingly talented. And by far the best thing we ever did!

Words cannot express how FUNDAMENTAL Cassie was in the success of our wedding. Neither one of us can stop talking about how amazing the night was and how we could not have done it without her and her team. She was there every single step of the way on the big day and helped ensure our guests had a blast which was our #1 goal! Still daydreaming over the entire thing!!!

I am not kidding when I say that booking Cassie and Bride’s Best Friend (BBF) was the best and most important decision we made throughout the entire wedding planning process! We live in Dallas and wanted to get married in Austin. My fiance and I originally wanted to plan the wedding ourselves and quickly realized we may have been in over our heads, especially with our busy schedules. We researched several other planners/coordinators and Bride’s Best Friend was 100% the best fit for us. We chose to do full-service planning since we hadn’t even booked a venue nor chosen a date. Cassie is one of the most organized humans I have ever met - she loves Google docs, colored sticky notes and checklists!!! We were blown away with how much thought is put into BBF’s planning process. My fiance and I separately filled out questionnaires related to budget, design, values and what items in the wedding were the most important to each of us. From there, we had a call to discuss and agree upon a budget and got to see a ranked list of what was the most important to us as a couple. Cassie would go back to those documents throughout the planning process and use the responses to help us make decisions. Cassie set up a wedding planning website for us that included our budget tracker, guest tracker, vendor contracts and so much more. Cassie handled the lion’s share of coordinating with vendors to get them under contract and scheduled. We even received discounts on some of our contracts since BBF is a preferred vendor. We really appreciated that Cassie was so open-minded whenever we had a “crazy” idea. Most of the time, it was a little crazy, but she would help us brainstorm and come up with a refined version that was better than our original idea! She has a knack for design and is extremely knowledgeable about what works and what doesn’t logistics-wise on wedding day. On our wedding day, the BBF team was INCREDIBLE! I don’t think one single thing went wrong, and even if something did, I’m sure they handled it before either we or our guests noticed. They made our rehearsal and wedding day stress-free. Our guests have repeatedly told me how smoothly they felt the day went which means a lot! Everyone knew where they were supposed to be, what even was coming up next and if they needed anything, the BBF team was there to help! If you are looking for ultra-organized, non-judgemental, badass humans to help you plan your wedding or event, then stop searching and call Bride’s Best Friend!

We had Casey as our day of coordinator and she was wonderful. It was like having a planner along the way. She kept me on track, helped with all of the tiny details that weren’t even on my radar, and made our wedding day flow so smoothly I never had to worry about a single thing. I thought I was an organized person, but then I met Cassie. Bride's Best Friend knocked it out of the park. Cassie is the reason we had a perfect wedding day. We used BBF for Wedding Day Coordination. Her list of recommended vendors helped us find several of our vendors easier. We started working with Cassie two months out, rather than one month out like some other coordinators we interviewed. This helps us tie up a lot of loose ends with time to spare, rather than scrambling in the final days. She also helped us create a wedding day timeline that made sure we had time to breathe and eat! During the wedding, our friends and families were so impressed with how she executed everything and was available to help with anything that came up. She and her team made our wedding stress free so we were able to enjoy the day.

We couldn’t imagine having done our wedding without BBF! My fiancé and I elected the Wedding Day Management Service, and it was perfect. We liked to handle a lot of our planning ourselves, and Cassie was there to support us via email with any major questions we had along the way. In the weeks leading up to our wedding, BBF was there to coordinate for all the details we overlooked and had helpful suggestions. On the day of, Cassie and Sydney kept the entire party and family on task and on schedule, which is no easy feat!! My wife and I had a blast at our wedding knowing our schedule was set and being easily managed by these pros. We had very eager guests who wanted to chat with us, but Sydney turned into our dinner bouncer so that we could eat peacefully and then mingle at the right time :) Cassie, we can’t thank you enough!!

Hiring Cassie and her team for the "partial planning" service was hands-down the best decision we made during the two years of our engagement, elopement wedding, and encore wedding. Following our encore wedding in 2021, we received so many compliments from so many family and friends about how perfectly executed the wedding day was- and all credit to that goes to Cassie and her team (we've already recommended her to a neighbor who complimented the wedding). From her Pre-Pandemic help (her vendor recommendations are stellar and perfectly keyed to the style and budget of your wedding) to her Pandemic Help (agreeing to a date change, helping us draft emails to our other vendors, and holding our hand through the shifting guidelines and recommendations on how to have a safe wedding in 2020 and in 2021) to her Encore Wedding help (you WANT her directing traffic and timeline and other vendors day-of so that you can focus on friends, family, your partner- and the amazing party Cassie has helped you pull together)- you can't ask for someone better in your corner. We planned and executed our 15-guest elopement in 2020 on our own, and while it was beautiful and intimate, the day had a significantly different feel from our 2021 wedding. We woke up on Oct 29 2021 and knew that we could relax and enjoy the day to come instead of constantly worrying about all the moving parts. It's worth noting that all of our planning was done via video chat because we live in Houston. This caused no issues whatsoever (though it was bizarre to meet someone in person two years after meeting them online) and Cassie was available for quick questions via email, though we tried not to overuse that. Finally, Cassie is the friendliest and most genuine person. When you hire Cassie, it truly feels like you're hiring a friend who just happens to have years of expertise in the overwhelming world of the wedding industry. She knows what works, what doesn't, what's expensive and what's worth the money- and she lets you know all of this with all the warmth and practicality of a Mom Friend. Hire Cassie and you won't regret it.

Cassie was absolutely amazing and everything I wanted in a planner/coordinator. I heard countless times from friends and family how on top of it she was day-of, I didn't have to worry about anything and had my full confidence and trust in her. She is very on it from the moment you meet her and honestly just a go-getter. She knows her stuff. Cassie was my personal coordinator and talk about AMAZING. She put me at the top of her priority list on the day of the wedding. She made sure I was comfortable, helped pin my long dramatic dress AND helped me take my shoes off when I danced a little too much. We are so happy that we hired Bride's Best Friend as our day-of coordinator! Cassie helped our wedding day run so smoothly, which meant we could really be in the moment and enjoy ourselves. As a lesbian couple getting in married in Texas, we wanted to make sure that we only worked with vendors that were supportive of LGBT couples. When we first addressed this with Cassie, she didn’t miss a beat and quickly informed us that she only works with “LGBT enthusiastic” vendors. Not the vendors that will say they support these couples to make money, but the type that are celebrating at Pride every year. Throughout our planning and even postponement due to COVID Cassie upheld her support of us with great communication, attention to detail, creating our vision even if we couldn’t communicate it well. We can never thank Cassie enough for helping create our perfect day!
