The location itself is picturesque and we loved every minute of our wedding. There’s nothing like the chapel, it’s intimate and the closest I’ve ever felt to being a real princess and living out a fairytale for the day. Book this venue (just hire a great planner like Hannah)!!

Beth Zitzman, the Events Manager at Trump Winery, was very helpful and friendly from the venue tour to throughout the wedding planning process to the day of the wedding. Trump Winery does have strict vendor rules. One being the caterer has to be a vendor from their Preferred Vendor List, which is listed on the contract. The other vendors don't have to be from the Preferred Vendor List, but they have to be approved by Beth after the vendor fills out two vendor forms and adds Trump Winery as an additional insured company on their certificate of insurance. This process wasn't too bad as all the vendors I chose that weren't on Trump's Preferred Vendor List got approved. For a sparklers exit, Trump Winery requires galvanized buckets and sand for the used sparklers. Trump Winery also requires a day of coordinator. Cody Smith was my day of coordinator and she's the best! She's very familiar with Trump Winery and has been in the wedding industry for years. Cody is so on top of things and responds really quickly to emails and texts. She made my wedding absolutely seamless! All my guests told me they really enjoyed the wedding and the venue was wonderful. I was awestruck when I saw all my photos, beautiful and classic venue!

unning! The atmosphere is so green and beautiful for photos. We used the barn and pavilion for our reception as we had a smaller guest count of 75. Our experiences with the winery staff were excellent. They are timely and organized. They have really everything you need right there so there is less planning and things you have to bring in. We felt it was a great value for the price. All of our guests keep telling us how beautiful it was there. It was a quick trip from downtown Charlottesville where our out of town guests were staying. We would so highly recommend hosting a wedding at Trump Winery.

minutes away from Jefferson's historical Monticello, James Monroe's Ash Lawn-Highland, etc. It was an outstanding venue for our guests who appreciated its history and beautiful architecture. The staff was extremely helpful & accommodating as we presented our wedding vision that included an outdoor ceremony, live band, fireworks and more!

event staff that are the reason for my five-star review: Patrick Butler and the staff at Trump always went above and beyond. My father is in a wheelchair and we had a few special requests to make the wedding day go as smoothly for him as possible; Patrick was accommodating and utterly professional at every turn. He was extremely responsive to every email and query anyone involved with our wedding sent, and allowed us to visit the venue as many additional times as we needed during our planning process. Both my husband and I are Catholic, and having a Catholic mass was important to us. The Chapel at Trump is a space for all denominations, but is also a sanctioned Catholic chapel, meaning that any Catholic priest will perform a wedding mass there. This made the day easy for our guests; they didn't have to go between a church and a reception venue, and we didn't have to worry about potential congestion/traffic due to other events in the Charlottesville area--Trump Winery was truly one-stop shopping for both our mass and reception venue. Trump Winery is truly a stunning venue in any season. There are many natural environments in one area, which was great for the overall "look" of our wedding and our wedding photos. If you're planning a fall wedding in Virginia, the views here can't be topped! Working with Trump Winery was one of the best experiences I had in planning my wedding, and I'd highly recommend them to other engaged couples.

he lake, he suddenly was all for it! So beautiful. We loved the ability to use all three of their spaces together--the Barn, the Pavilion and the Chapel. We got the best of all worlds..."classy" rustic for the barn, fancy for the Pavilion, and a truly breathtaking religious ceremony in the chapel. When we first entered the chapel, we were both spell-bound. So, so beautiful, the lighting is incredible, and I LOVED the white and grey tones in there. We were just blown away with all of the options. We had the gorgeous hallway, beautiful bathrooms, large bridal suite, the comfortable club room, and gorgeous patio overlooking the vineyard and the lake/willow tree with the Barn; and in the Pavilion we had gorgeous crystal chandeliers and sconces, a fabulous dance floor, beautiful bathrooms, a magnificent, huge bar, windows everywhere for gorgeous views of the vineyard and the lake, and another beautiful patio with great seating that overlooked the vines and the willow tree/lake. We worked mostly with Patrick, who at every contact was professional, helpful and always kind. He had great suggestions and is truly experienced in helping you imagine your perfect wedding day. On our wedding day, he was very helpful and caring, and took care of us and our vendors always. Our wedding was truly a perfect, magical, spectacular day. Everything went without a hitch, and our guests were blown away with the views, the facilities, the staff and the Trump wine. Many of our guests told us it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to. We just so loved and appreciated getting all that we wanted--rustic, formal, and a gorgeous, gorgeous ceremony in that chapel. Thank you so much for a perfect, memorable day.

t Trump. From the moment we stepped foot in the office we felt welcome, and were assisted in a very professional and friendly manner. Trump Winery and Patrick (the event coordinator) were amazing to work with! Very easy going, very responsive and very organized. They were accommodating every time we brought family by to see the venue and were very responsive and organized for the walk-through with our vendors. We also got a couple of free wine tastings so were able to take our parents to one and some of our bridal party to one. The condition of the venue the day of, the set up, everything, was perfect. The venue was clean and ready to go. You get the venue from 12pm until 11pm, 11 hours!!! We could not find another venue that let us in that early and leave that late. They even let us leave some cars and items there for pick up the next morning, which was very convenient and made our night less stressful. They do require you buy a minimum of their wine, and use one of nine caterers listed in their contract. Outside of those requirements, they place was ours and we were able to do just about anything we wanted (within reason of course). Our guests said the venue was one of the most beautiful they had ever been at for a wedding. We are still getting compliments about how nice everything at Trump was! And the photography potential and options on the property are extensive! The barn, pavilion, lake, vineyards, manor house, chapel all provide great places for AMAZING pictures! Lastly, we felt Trump was the best value for our money. We opted for a Friday wedding to save some cash, and they were very reasonable with the price for the venue. Have your wedding at Trump. You will NOT regret it at all!

ding and Patrick helped us with every step after. He brought a full list of recommendations for other vendors in Virginia and he had a wealth of expertise in helping to choose them. He also always made himself available to us to look at the venue and take tours and show our families. It was incredible how much attention we got from him. On the wedding day, the Trump Grand Hall is a fantastic place to get married. It feels like you have your very own mansion complete with sweeping views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, ballrooms, a beautiful bridal tower, a room shaped like a wine barrel, and a cozy reserve room with a giant fireplace. It was so unique and we received so many compliments on what a lovely venue it was. Hats off to the entire staff who maintains everything and especially to Patrick who coordinated everything from the beginning.

was not soaking like we thought and you could barely tell it was raining all morning! Also, you could not see the road or hear cars on the road because of the setting and location of the site - it was in its own private and secluded area. The Pavilion was perfect for the reception. It was just the right size and the acoustics were great. Everyone at Trump Vineyard was professional and easy to work with. Specifically, we worked with Patrick who was fantastic and had great ideas! Wouldn't trade the site of our ceremony and reception for anything!

ick, the Event Manager at Trump, was unbelievably helpful throughout the process and answered all my questions quickly and kindly. He was very patient with our frequent requests to see the property since it was undergoing renovations at the time. The property is amazing and we had so much space we hardly knew what to do with it (we actually didn't use two of the ballrooms except as roaming space for guests). We got so many compliments on the day and I couldn't be happier that we decided on Trump Winery. The pictures are gorgeous and my photographer even put it on her 2015 Dream Venue List because it was her first time shooting there and she wants to go back! Thank you, Patrick, for your help along the way. Our day was perfect.
