The Tulsa Garden Center itself is a beautiful place.
However, the planner for events such as weddings was horrible to work with. We cancelled our contract due to her mixing up our dates after already paying the 50% deposit, miscommunications, snide tone, and lack of concern with her mistake. She eventually made the date available but our confidence in her was broken. She had no remorse for her mistake that happened after we paid for the event. After she mixed up our wedding date causing us to have to move around our rehearsal reservations and officiant, I emailed her to confirm that no one else would be there that day and if that was the case we wanted to move forward. She told me there wouldn’t be anyone as she already said. As a customer it is completely reasonable to want to confirm after there has already been mistakes made by the coordinator.
When a customer pays for a reserved date that is specified on a contract they should get what they paid for no question. That should be set in stone. We were open to a day that week, until one was locked down through payment in the contract. Back and forth on our reserved date after being contracted and after paying is not professional and showed a lack of organization, which is unacceptable when it comes to planning a big event.
After cancelling we emailed the CEO who was completely impersonal and only thanked me for letting her know we wanted to cancel. The planner and CEO took no ownership for their mistakes. If you want to have clear communication when planning your wedding, look elsewhere.
I cannot even begin to describe my disappointment with the venue staff. If you want to get married here just know that the women you will be dealing with are rude and pretentious for absolutely no reason. The venue itself is beautiful but the staff were horrendous. They were racist towards our guests, they blamed us for "missing" items which magically reappeared when pressed for their location, and they dogged our phone calls. The staff also bad mouthed other vendors who were working our wedding. Their lack of professionalism was astounding. I dont regret the beautiful pictures that the photographer took but I am still regretting a week later that I have to deal with their staff.
Our wedding at the Mansion at Woodward Park was dreamy! Cristen was organized and made the entire process incredibly easy. Wonderful location!
We had an indoor ceremony and reception at the Mansion at Woodward Park at the beginning of August, and everything was perfect! Cristen worked with us so much over an entire year, as we booked the venue in August 2017. My husband and I were doing all of the planning from our home in Los Angeles, and she was always on top of replying to my countless emails asking questions and double-checking information! She also worked with us several times for in person meetings when we were visiting Oklahoma to see family or do more planning. Cristen made sure the set up provided by the staff was exactly what we needed and wanted, and even though we had to do a lot of the rentals and decorations set up ourselves (bridal party and family), we had amazing vendors who helped up with set up and tear down so everything came together like clockwork! She made the process so smooth and easy, and I’m so happy we booked the Garden Center not only for how beautiful it is and the amazing pictures we now have, but mostly because Cristen is such a rockstar! And I also want to mention our day-of coordinator assigned by the venue, Meredith, because she was incredible. She was so helpful with anything that I needed, that our families needed, or that our vendors needed. She was always nearby, and she was so friendly to everyone and honestly such a joy to have there. I couldn’t be happier with our wedding experience at the Mansion at Woodward Park!
We used the Linnaeus Teaching Gardens for our reception and venue and it was absolutely gorgeous and the staff was so accommodating and helpful
Our reception was at the Tulsa Historical Society and it was fantastic. We booked our event in June, they changed their staff in July and everything still went perfect (or as close as you can get at a wedding) at our August wedding.
Amazing location and staff! beautiful and perfect for us. We had so much help from the staff and communication was a breeze!
Absolutely beautiful venue. Kinda pricey but well worth it.
I had a small wedding in the Southroom here which is beautiful, we only rented a couple hours on a weekday for the reception and it was much cheaper than any other option, and it was still my favorite venue out of all the ones we had looked at. The mansion is absolutely gorgeous inside and out, well kept and it was very easy to book, they set up all the chairs for me and everything. It was exactly what I wanted. :)
I recently attended a wedding here and it was quite simply beautiful. Not much decorating is required.
I got married 10/30/10 on the front steps of this beautiful Italian Villa. Everything was perfect. The event coordinators were on top of things I didn't even consider which showed their experience and know how...and made it so much easier on me! We also held our reception there which was extremely convenient, it too was absolutely perfect. I highly recommend the Tulsa Garden Center if you want a beautiful, elegant and easy wedding venue.

My outside wedding was a terrible idea but the wedding location was perfect for pictures and held all of my guests!
