During the time up until the wedding, Spencer was always very responsive to my emails answering any questions I had. The day of our wedding, they did not disappoint! They played every song we asked for and avoided everything on our "do not play" list. It was the perfect mix of oldies, 90s and current songs to keep everyone happy. The dance floor was packed ALL NIGHT and they helped flow the reception perfectly. In addition, the guests LOVED our photobooth. Not only did guests receive 2 copies of their photos printed out, but we also got digital files of all photos. Such great memories to have! The photo booth was a nice addition though it unfortunately had a few bumps along the way, they brought a great selection of props and a backdrop that matched our wedding colors. In addition, they sent me digital files of all photo booth pictures within two weeks of our wedding!! I recommend Turntable Events if you are looking to have an amazing mood set and a vendor that makes you feel like you guys are friends. Our wedding wouldn’t have been the same without them!

. The moment we talked to Spencer on the phone, he assured us that the music would be what we wanted and was there to guide us. He would respond within the day to any and all questions we had! He was patient as we went back and forth making changes to our contract, which is a HUGE plus in my eyes. We talked to Spencer days before the wedding, and we had total confidence in him as he has done MANY weddings and this was our first. We choose our songs, and gave us his opinions which we were grateful for. On the wedding day, Spencer was patient, fun, kind and took the lead. He gets back to me within 24 hours or less whenever I have a question or concern. He was super patient with us when we had a bunch of customization requests for the music (ex: starting and stopping songs at very specific points for our first dance and parent/child dances). He worked with us on pronouncing our tricky bridal party names (and then absolutely knocked it out of the park during the event). Finally, he took our "must play" song list and filled in exactly the kind of songs we love. I am not exaggerating when I say that the dancefloor was PACKED the whole night! I'm also not exaggerating when I say that my shoes were crazy painful and that STILL didn't stop me from being on the dancefloor all night. Spencer dj our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. He knew when to turn it up a notch and when to turn it down. He played the songs we requested, he catered to all of guests and family’s styles of music, and did his own thing. He’s really easy to work with and you can tell he loves what he does and music. He was recommended by a family friend and I’ll be recommending him to anyone who asks. Looking for a dj isn’t easy, as you can’t just show up at someone else’s wedding to see the dj do their thing and every client has different tastes. The friend that recommended him was more of a country fan. My husband and I are more dance, pop (what’s on the radio now) and rock fans. He plays and does it all. Your wedding is probably the only or few times you’ll have your own private dance floor. Spencer/Turntable is who you want playing your own personal soundtrack.

Rather than instantly ask us about what songs we wanted him to play, instead he wanted to know more about us: How my wife and I first met, what music tastes we had in common (a lot of indie rock and Motown) as well as the “mood’ we wanted for the wedding. Our response was that we wanted all our guests to feel part of a larger celebration, to have fun without making it a dance club, to avoid line dances entirely… and Spencer definitely delivered. Not only was Spencer easy to talk to on the phone, he was very fun, energetic, and personable. Now, full disclosure: I’m a guy and have no idea how weddings were supposed to work. Who gets introduced first? When do you have a first dance? When are the best man / MoH speeches? Do I need to make a speech? I had no idea. Spencer walked me through the entire night (and worked with our event planner) to ensure a seamless evening. A few nights before the wedding he called to make sure he was pronouncing the names 100% correctly, and even responded quickly and professionally to a last-minute change in intros (our ring bearer wasn’t exactly having the best night). Chris did an awesome job with our photobooth, something my wife and I were originally on the fence about booking. We’re so glad we did, as the booth definitely took some memorable images… some more appropriate than others. Looking back at my wedding, some of the high points of the night centered around Spencer and the music he brought to our day. Be it our first dance (“The Moon Song”) or when we were lifted up on chairs (“Jump Around”) or a final face-melting power-ballad from for our last dance (“Come Sail Away”)… Spencer made sure that the energy and feeling of celebration carried the night through. I wish I got married more often now that I know I can book Spencer. 10/10 would use again.

It really added another level to our ballroom's decor. Everything was flawless, and so much fun! Our guests were commenting about how great the music was. We were impressed that Spencer edited the mother-son dance's song, as we asked, because we felt like it was way too long of a song. He was so accommodating, and everything was just so effortless. We corresponded the rest through email and a week before we reviewed all the important information he needed. via phone. He made me feel so comfortable leading up to the big day..The day of, he met with me and we discussed any last minute updates or changes... ceremony was perfect...music was nice a loud, great timing of everything and his mic sound was nice and clear.. nothing worse then going to a wedding and you can't hear anything..Reception flow went SO smoothly with the music and Spencer really had a great read of the crowd. Great prices for what we got...he came with another DJ (or MC) who was also very nice...he had a great balance of talking when need be to keep the flow going and answered all my questions throughout the night. The BEST was his ending..some weddings end awkwardly, but his ended on such a strong note with multiple "last songs" so the crowd went wild! They both worked super hard..hands down the BEST!

ent to a different venue by mistake! Really!! This wedding was at my home. How about gps, mapquest, checking where your client lives before rushing out the door. He made no attempt to call anyone, he arrived inappropriately dressed, had a nasty attitude, left out specific songs, had no rapport with the crowd, did not call tables to the buffet table and kept leaving the DJ booth. He offered the bride and groom a $100 discount at the end of the night. Big deal, there are no do-overs for your wedding. Please don't take a chance with these guys.

s was the DJ, I immediately called and Andrew was available. When we spoke the few days before my wedding we were 100% on the same page of what music I wanted to have played. He listened to everything I asked and even provided a few extra fun songs that I didn't even think of. My best friend who is getting married next year was also looking at Turntable for their wedding and the music Andrew played at my wedding 100% sold them. DJ Andrew was an AMAZING MC for the night - he was always checking on my husband and I to see if we were having fun, told us where to go when, and interacted with the crowd just enough to make it really feel unique. He had great intros for us and our bridal party and we even worked with him on the exact point we wanted played in our entrance song, which was great that he took the time to do for us. The music was not played one song after the other, he was a true DJ in mixing the songs and feeling out the crowd! I cannot say enough great things about Andrew. I felt like we had known him forever, even though we had never met face to face until the wedding - we Facetimed for our meetings before the wedding and he always seemed genuinely excited to be a part of our special day. There are two small pieces of constructive feedback we have regarding our experience in using TurnTable events. (1) I had a hard time getting ahold of Andrew at times, his voicemail was often full (I am sure because how awesome and busy they are) and at one point, I felt like I was never going to get a chance to speak with him (exaggerated through bridal freak out mode setting in). That certainly wasn't the case but the lack of responsiveness a few months before the wedding was concerning to me. We realize they do this all the time, but for us, our wedding is a once in a lifetime event. (2) We completed the pre-event paper work with last song, song requests in priority order, etc. Our last song that was listed wasn't played - a different one was that was on our "must play" list. While this seems like a small thing, and really no one knew but myself and my husband, it was something I was disappointed with. I am only sharing these to have a full review of our experience, not to deter anyone from booking them. In fact, if you haven't booked them yet, you ABSOLUTELY should. TurnTable events is a reputable company with high quality service. We would highly recommend TurnTable events for weddings and other events needing a DJ. You will not be disappointed!

As a bride (or groom) I think it’s so important to click with your vendors so that you can put your trust in them and be at ease in the planning process. And from the moment we met Spencer we could tell that he genuinely loved his job and took pride in helping brides/grooms make their weddings a success. I can’t express how happy we are that we used Turntable Events for our wedding—they really are the best!

At our wedding Deejay A-Game was on the stage mixing up music while Spencer was on the floor Emceeing! Deejay A-Game was amazing! He was able to feel the energy of the crowd and pleased all guest with his music selection and mixing abilities. Young and old guests danced together on the floor the ENTIRE Night. As if that wasn't enough Spencer was interacting with the guest and bridal party using the microphone. He would frequently lean the mic into a group of guests and they would sing the chorus. He centralized some classic songs around myself and my husband. For example, during Sweet Caroline, Spencer substituted my name for Caroline. The guests loved it as did my husband and I. Looking back on our wedding video we noticed there was not a person was sitting the entire reception. Even my 72 year old grandma danced for hours. Apart from the amazing music, emceeing and overall vibe of Turntable Events the uplighting took our reception site and photos to the next level. The up lighting we choose was amber and shades of pink. Spencer was incredibly knowledgable in advising my husband and I on what colors would work best with our venue and where to place the up lighting to maximize the potential of our reception site. Additionally, we choose to use a textured pattern on the ceiling of our venue. This texture helped to provide that fantasy imagine you always had in mind for your wedding. The texture had guests looking up and commenting on ceiling all evening. Lastly, Turntable Events was easy and flexible to work with. Spencer was very knowledgable about our venue and several other venues we were debating between. He was able to advise us on what to do and what not to do. Our matre dee tried to convince us to eat in the beginning and have 2 full hours of dancing at the end. Spencer immediately advised us against this and we are so glad we listen to him. Originally, my husband and I thought the most important part of our wedding would be the venue. We have been to 10 weddings this year and none of the Deejays or up lighting compared to Turntable Events. Most of the Deejays didn't know how to transition songs, or get people up and dancing, or appeal to the entire crowd. At many of these weddings people sat down and began to leave early. My husband and I love to dance and dancing to the same song for its entire duration was difficult and boring. Turntable Events was nothing like that. To this day we are still getting compliments from our guests about our Deejay. Some guests who have recently gotten engaged immediately decided to use Turntable Events. You want everybody celebrating and having fun with you and Turntable Events is the company to get the party started.

A HUGE highlight was the "last dance" - which was more like a last blowout, as the last song became a last two or three, with such a high energy level that I really think every single person there was on the floor. People were singing along, jumping like crazy, throwing my husband into the air (really!)...it was fantastic. From a logistic standpoint, their planning guides and forms, the pre-wedding call that week, and the check-ins throughout the night made everything SO easy. It was everything we hoped for and more. Seriously, the best DJ we've ever seen. I would recommend them to ANYONE for ANY event that you want to be a party. Thank you so much, Spencer!

If you are anything like me, you feel music is the key to a great wedding. Spencer delivered a great show because he understands how to keep the party going and when to dial it back. He helped organize toasts and breaks so that they didn't seem ill-timed. He will personalize the music to suit you in any way that you would like. If he doesn't have what you are looking for, he will find it and have it ready for your wedding. The point is, if you need a truly professional DJ for your wedding, you really can't do better than Turntable Events. Events. The one thing we’re hearing over and over again is “YOUR DJ NAILED IT!” Guests danced their butts off from the start of the wedding to the end of the wedding. In fact, one guest told me that she didn’t feel nearly as bad for eating so much because she would literally run to her seat to eat a course and then run back to the dance floor. Right after our first dance, Spencer asked us if it would be okay to play a pump-up song and invite all of the guests onto the floor. I’m so glad we said, “HECK YES” because it set the tone for the entire evening: This will be a celebration. Our guests poured onto the dance floor and loosened up right away. While people typically expect the three big dances (bride/groom, bride/father, bride/mother) to be at the beginning, Turntable Events knew that in order to bring up the energy level, they needed to get the guests dancing immediately. Spencer saved the other two dances for the perfect time later in the night. These guys are truly experts in their field. Spencer, in particular, did a wonderful job of combining intuition and skill to play songs that were appropriate for every single moment of the night. Not every DJ is gifted with the ability to meet the needs of the different types of people in his or her crowd, but Spencer certainly has it. He hooked the guests and held them on the dance floor with his energy and seamless music selections. When he addressed the audience, he made it personal, and that really impressed our guests. He is not one of those cookie cutter, packaged wedding DJs. Not once was he cheesy or inappropriate. He was professional, entertaining, and just all around wonderful. One of our favorite things about Spencer was the fact that he checked on us every 45 minutes or so. He kept us updated on the schedule for the evening and always made sure we were enjoying the tunes. He played every song we asked for at the right time in the night and the “No play” list remained unplayed. With the DJ package, we also asked Turntable Events to provide uplighting – to some this may be a huge deal, to others, it may not matter. Regardless, we highly recommend uplighting because it really adds to the mood. Spencer was able to control the lights from his booth which was awesome. He provided the perfect lighting for the entire evening from dinner to dance. In terms of the prep and planning, Turntable Events was the least stressful aspect of planning our wedding. Spencer was timely in e-mails and always accommodating. In fact, Alex and I asked if Spencer had a specific remix/mash-up of a song we wanted for our entrance; He downloaded it immediately and shared his excitement over the song with us like a friend would. Additionally, he was always willing to talk over the phone. It was so nice to hear a confident and genuinely excited person on the other end of the line who put all of our worries at ease. *He even made sure to double-check name pronunciations prior to announcing our bridal party. We described our vision to him and he made it happen, but 1000 X better than we could have even dreamed. If you work with Turntable Events, you will be in the best hands out there and they will surely make your reception one for the books. I only wish I could write more

married in NY, so it was difficult for me to meet with vendors in person. In spite of Spencer's busy schedule, he still found time to meet with me and work around when was convenient for me, no questions asked. And meeting with him in person just solidified how good I felt after talking to him on the phone. He has an awesome personality and after telling him a bit about the type of person I am and the kind of music I'm into, he told me how excited he was to be doing my wedding. It made me feel so great knowing my DJ was just as excited as I was! About 5 months before the wedding, I received my "DJ Planning Toolkit," which gave me all the info I needed and gave me a head's up as to what information I was going to need to provide Spencer for the day of. As a habitual planner and someone who likes to get things done ahead of the game, this really went a long way with me and helped me to focus on compiling only the necessary information. 2 days before the wedding I had my walk-through call with Spencer where we went through everything - all song choices, when each song was to be played, and Spencer painstakingly made sure he had the pronunciations of everyone's names correct. The day of, everything was absolutely perfect. Spencer played every song on my play list and there wasn't a moment when the dance floor was empty, except for dinner, and I felt like my guests wanted to hurry up and eat so they could get back up and dance! Everyone just kept raving about how great the DJ was and how they'd never been to a wedding where the dancing started immediately and never stopped! I told Spencer I wanted my wedding to be like my own personal rock concert - and I felt just like a rock star! He created the perfect vibe and was just awesome!

During the reception, everything went flawlessly - the introductions, the first dance, and the toasts were timed perfectly with absolutely no equipment issues (feedback, etc). The song selection during the reception was perfect - they kept everyone dancing for more than 4 hours. We were told by multiple people that they never used our photobooth because they couldn't get off the dance floor. Spencer had no doubts about maintaining an awesome party without drowning out people from talking, and incorporating all the music we love. The week before the wedding, we submitted our music list. Spencer answered all of our questions and welcomed our input. The suggestions he made were perfect. The wedding reception was amazing thanks to Spencer and Andrew! I remember my wife and I both looking out to the dance floor two minutes into the wedding and couldn’t believe how many people were dancing – it was packed non-stop until the end of the night. We even saw a great-aunt get up and dance! The music wasn’t blaring so loud that you couldn’t have a conversation at the table. And Spencer was an awesome emcee as well. We wanted an emcee that was present, funny and positive, but not obnoxious – he was all those things and more. Spencer came out to greet our parents, the groomsmen and bridesmaids, and made sure he was able to pronounce everyone’s names. Spencer and Andrew just let the party continue to grow throughout the night, and went out with a bang with an encore! The wedding was truly amazing, and we owe a lot of that to Spencer and Andrew. We’ve seen a lot of friends since who genuinely tell us that it was the most fun wedding they’ve ever been to. My uncle told me that was the most fun he’s had at a wedding since his own wedding 30 years ago! We had the best night of our lives and we really can’t thank Spencer, Andrew, and Turntable Events enough! Do not miss the opportunity to have them DJ/emcee your wedding. It will be the best decision you make!!!

Todd, the coordinator at The Garrsion, even said it felt like a Saturday wedding because people were so excited. My only reason not to give Spencer an perfect score was that our planning meeting didn’t happen until the Wednesday night before. He had sent me some papers and I returned them as instructed. He said he’d contact me but 3 days before I still haven’t heard from him. I realize it’s easy and routine for him but I wanted to know we were prepared and on the same page. I would have preferred to do that earlier. But, still a great experience.

I had attended dozens of weddings prior to ours and we weren't thrilled with any of the DJs we had seen there. He helped to get the bridal party outside for formal pictures, and he actually noticed when I was cornered by some long-winded guests during the reception. He politely came over to “interrupt” and made sure I was able to get out there and dance. The dancefloor was packed for most of the night with guests of all ages. Everyone I talk to comments on how much fun they had and what a great mix of music Andrew played. I couldn’t be happier with my choice in a DJ, and I would definitely recommend Turntable Events to anyone looking for a DJ.
