Venue alone I would give 10/10. It’s beautiful, clean, and the weather was amazing. There weren’t any issue with the venue itself as a location. Security was also amazing! They were super friendly and helpful. There weren’t any issues and they did their jobs correctly. Restroom vendor choice was mandatory from the venue. They were good and clean at first, but it does not come with an attendant. You can imagine that after a full night, the restrooms became dirty. Catering choice was also mandatory from the venue. DJ’s catering was 10/10 when it came to the food. All of the guests said the same thing. The bar was also manned through them and this is where we had an issue. We had asked them for ice since we got there and even up to 30 minutes before cocktail hour began. They said the ice was coming and that drinks would be chilled in time for cocktail hour. They weren’t… we were also told that guest could not have hard alcohol bottles at their tables but could go to the bar for shots. The bartenders refused to give out shots the entire night. Something we had specifically asked for. We also provided mixers that weren’t used and taken. The biggest issue we had was the fact that we were told that vendors could come on site at 1pm to set up because we paid an extra hour to start the ceremony earlier. We had sent all of our decorations, lights, dj equipment, etc to set up at 1pm. It was a lot to set up… we paid for an extra hour and were told that we breached contract because our vendors showed up an hour early and therefore we forfeited our deposit. Something we really were not prepared to deal with 3 hours before our big moment. You can imagine as a bride that’s the last thing you want to be worrying about. The lack of communication was unprofessional. When it came to receiving payment from us, they were quick to respond. Any questions that we had seemed to take much longer to receive a response. All in all the wedding went great because of the people I hired outside of the venues requirements. Had I left it up to them it would’ve been an up charge here, a surcharge there with a lack in quality of services provided.
