Tux Shop Palm Beach

For my wedding a few weeks ago, we used the Tux Shop for my husband (the groom) and his groomsman as well as the father of the bride. Being from out of town, Susan assured us it would be a simple process the week of my wedding to get everyone fitted in time when they flew in. Well the week of was quite a mess. Leading up to that week, their customer service via the phone was a bit of a disaster. We would get different answers from different people on the services included etc. And then the week of Susan insisted one fitting would be fine. But the day of my wedding, my husbands tuxedo was very big on him. I am getting my photos back now and we're so disappointed with how ill-fitting the tux is. We hoped The Tux Shop team would've at least put the extra effort into his. We also requested they send a second shirt to have for the day and it arrived at the hotel after we left the hotel for our ceremony and reception so it was never available to us. The selection here is great, but for the prices and the small shop feel (vs. Mens Warehouse, etc.) I expected WAY more.

We live in Coral Springs and choose The Tux Shop in Palm Beach Gardens because of their customer service & quality. During our 1st appointment both the owner of the shop & Lynne (iFitter ) were with us to ensure the details of the groom & groomsmen were taken care of. If you haven't used an iFitter, I highly recommend it. Lynne took the hassle out of the fittings by coming to us, and delivered the tuxes the day of our wedding, and picked them up after the wedding. Great service!

My husband and I live in Boca Raton and were having trouble finding a tux place in the area that carried the right shade of gray for the tux he was thinking of renting for our wedding. After some searching online, my husband came across The Tux Shop all the way in Palm Beach Gardens and spoke to Susan over the phone, who was very sweet, and she assured us she carried a few shades of gray tuxes and we’d find what we were looking for there. So we ignored the 50 minute drive to get there, and sure enough, Susan carried exactly what we were looking for and we ordered 8 tuxes from her at $210 a piece. Everything really did run smoothly until the tuxes arrived. First, we received the wrong ties, even though when we spoke on the phone to Susan and her daughter they both said they knew exactly the ties we wanted, they still gave us the wrong ones. When we informed Susan we got the wrong ones, she said she would have them at the shop for us to pick up ourselves. Even though this was her mistake, she was happy to tell us to come drive almost an hour to come correct it. We ended up just sticking with the wrong ties and my husband drove to Men’s Warehouse to buy his own tie. Then, two out of the eight pairs of shoes were broken. The heel broke right off. The men had to super glue their shoes before the ceremony. Additionally, the button on my husband's tux came off instantly, which he had to sew back on right before the ceremony as well. AND my brother’s tux was enormous on him. After the wedding, it would’ve been nice of Susan or her employees to offer some kind of a service to us to meet us halfway or even come pick up the tuxes, but again, there was really no appreciation for our business and I had to rush to the shop 2 days after my wedding to get them to Palm Beach Gardens by 10am. When I arrived at the shop, there was a woman there I hadn’t met before and I mentioned the issues we had, but she just laughed it off like it was funny and let me leave. Finally, a couple days later we got a package from the shop with an extra pair of pants that got mixed in the tuxes and a vest that was apparently “damaged beyond repair” and an invoice for the shipping charges and the vest. It would’ve been nice to get a courtesy phone call from the shop before they charged us an extra $105. We could’ve arranged to have a family member who lives in the area come pick it up or figured something out instead of being charged for shipping. Funny thing is, when we got the package we thought it would be a thank you gift for our business... Ha! Anyway, yes, my husband and the groomsmen looked fantastic, but with the amount of money we paid and how far we drove to give The Tux Shop our business, I would’ve appreciated better quality and customer service.

This place was wonderful. So helpful and makes everything easy for you. The guys looked great and I couldn't be more happy!

We used The Tux Shop for our wedding in January and they were excellent to work with . Their customer service is amazing and they were always so helpful. My sister also used them for her wedding 6 months before and had a great experience. We will recommend the Tux Shop to everyone!

Susan and her team are absolutely wonderful. I love the fact that she came to the hotel to meet the guys and was flexible with my very shy but animated group of guys. All of my guys looked amazing. The tuxs were perfectly tailored and the colors were on point. They even hand made an ascot tie for my very tall groom to ensure he was comfortable and stood (even more) like he wanted to. Susan and her team goes above and beyond to make sure that the groom gets what he wants but the bride is still happy with his choices. Susan is so great, she got two of my guests that never wear suits to get all dressed up for me, simply by putting them in clothes that made them feel just as handsome as the groom. They all looked like they belonged in a magazine.

The owners of the shop is helpful, friendly, and easy to work with. She helped us out with styling the groom and groomsmen for the wedding. All groomsmen were from out-of-state, and could easily submit their measurements online. All of the tuxes and shoes were delivered to the hotel where the guys were staying the day before the wedding. There were a couple issues with the sizing of the groom's tux-probably just with the measurements he had taken at another shop, but she brought us replacements the next morning and everything worked out. My only complaint is that my brother's tux was missing a button. Not really noticeable in pictures, but kind of bugged me because the shop is very high-end, and I would have expected that something like this would be checked before the tux left the shop. I know she would have brought us a replacement jacket had my brother tried on the tux before the morning of the wedding.
