TWA Photographic Artists

For our wedding photos, we chose TWA because their portfolio pictures looked great. We had a consultation meeting where they asked all about what kind of style we liked for the photos before the wedding. We were busy with all our preparations, so we didn't notice that the photographer they assigned only reached out to us right before the wedding day. He suggested going to a local park to take photos, which seems like a bad idea in retrospect since the day was forecast to be around 100 degrees. On the day of the wedding, he showed up in unprofessional clothing. It's not the kind of thing we would usually make a fuss about, but in hindsight, wasn't a great start. He asked us what of shots we wanted, and it seemed like TWA had never told him about our preferences even though we had a long meeting about it previously. We emphasized wanting photos of us and our guests. It turned out to be around 97 degrees, so we didn't go to the park at all and took shots inside the hotel lobby. We weren't exactly keeping tabs on him, so after the initial round of shots in and around the venue, we didn't see him a lot. Throughout the day, we had multiple guests tell us that he was having drinks and talking to people instead of working. He seemed to be just absent for long stretches of time. Near the end of the night, after a few people had talked to him on our behalf, he started working again and took some more shots of the reception, and asked us if we wanted any other specific shots. This was fine but it seemed like he missed a lot of what we said we wanted most - shots of us and our guests. He showed us some of the last shots he took on his camera near the end of the night and I said I didn't like how I looked in one of them and replied "It's your face". I get that we had gotten more comfortable, and I wasn't really offended, but again in hindsight, not professional. We were talking about the photographer after the wedding and my wife and I were disappointed, but decided to hold off on complaining until we got to see the photos, thinking that they might have turned out well. When we saw them, we were very disappointed and angry. The shots had a lot of bad angles, bad lighting, and most importantly, there were barely any of us and our guests. There were even a few shots of people from another wedding at the venue. Many of the shots seemed rushed and unflattering. We ended up reaching out to TWA and ultimately had a free makeup photo shoot. It was a better experience, but we of course couldn't recreate the wedding day and get the shots that the photographer missed. In hindsight, it would have been way better making an online album and having guests post all of their favorite phone shots to it, I don't think the quality would have been much worse and at least we'd have pictures of us and our guests.

This company has wonderful communication and the overall process to reserve their services (photography and a photo booth) for our wedding was simple and very easy to navigate. Our main contact, Jillian, was amazing at answering all our questions, offering discounts where available, and keeping us updated throughout the planning process. We felt that their prices were about average and the service received was absolutely worth the cost. Our photography package came with 2 photographers, one of which was there from 11 AM - 11 PM. POST-WEDDING THOUGHTS: Anna (our lead photographer) did a fantastic job and was extremely kind, funny, & professional the entire day! She made sure to capture all the shots that were requested and a bunch of other great ones that I wouldn’t have even thought to do. The 2nd photographer seemed nice but I didn’t work with him as closely as he was mainly with the groom/groomsmen but overall he did a great job as well. The photo booth was fantastic and everyone loved it! Overall, I would highly recommend TWA!

Our photographer, Justin Vaughn, was the MVP of our wedding! TWA did a great job matching us up based on our vibe. He was patient, enthusiastic, funny, and just overall very professional. He's clearly great at what he does. Whenever he sensed things might not be working or a pose wasn't going well, he would quickly and kindly shift to something else, maintaining the energy and positivity of the sessions while using time efficiently. He read us as a couple really well, understanding that some dynamics match us better than others. He was definitely the best vendor we had and I'm so grateful we had him there!

We've loved TWA throughout our wedding process. From the initial info meeting, to the album info meeting, to the photographers and videographer chosen for our wedding day! Jerry, Vee, and Sead were amazing and made the day so fun!

Working with TWA was a great experience and they made it easy to make the decision to select such a great company! We decided to have 2 photographers for the day, which by far was the best idea as coverage from the day will spark memories for years to come. Our main photographer, Heather, was extremely professional but easy and fun to work with! Her previous work was so artful that we wanted her artistic flare to flourish on our big day and we can't wait to get the final results! She absolutely exceeded expectations on the day of and blew us away when we got to see sneak peaks. Our second photographer, Harry, was focused more on the details of the day. We knew he would be the perfect fit once we saw his previous work, the attention to the finer and more unseen details is remarkable! He was a delight to work with and I know he got some amazing shots that we can't wait to see. TWA was an absolute pleasure to work with. Our wedding was 2 days ago, so we haven’t even received our photos yet but we know they are going to be wonderful and I’ll update once we do! From the booking process, to payment, to all the helpful communications they emailed me us, and so much more, we couldn’t be happier with TWA as a company. They emailed me tips and important things to remember which helped me be prepared to make the most out of our wedding day. They did not pressure us to buy the most expensive package or upsell us, but they explained all the differences clearly so we could make the best decisions for our day. We had 2 photographers, Heather was our main photographer and Rudy was our second photographer. They were a great team and made capturing our wedding so fun and enjoyable for us and everyone else. Not only were they working hard to capture everything I asked for, but they helped me out so much with little things like carrying my stuff when I needed an extra hand. Heather really saved the day. There was a red lipstick stain (for my tailor) on my dress which she noticed when she began photographing it. She kept calm and didn’t even tell me at first! She was able to make it almost completely disappear with club soda and a white towel. There were several other amazing things Heather did to make the day perfect, but that was without a doubt the biggest. Our photographers were on time, organized, professional, just everything you could ask for they were it! Our cinematographer, Joe, was also outstanding. He was on time and jumped right in to what was going on as we were getting ready. He stayed out of the way but spoke up when he needed some adjustments in order to get a good shot. He was kind, professional, and truly a pleasure to work with. We can hardly wait to see the product of all their hard work! We truly had the dream team for our wedding and we couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you, TWA!!!

TWA was nothing short of professional and detailed. From the moment we reached out requesting more information, TWA answered any and all questions and took the time to learn and care about us as a couple and our wedding. The photographers and videographer were an absolute joy to work with the day of our wedding. Kamil was our photographer and he truly knocked it out of the park. He is so good with moving quickly through poses, amazing at getting everyone’s attention including kids and dogs! our 2nd shooter and videographer were great as well! We cannot wait to get our photos and videos back

I had TWA do my wedding photography and videography. They had a main photographer, a photojournalist, and a videographer. They were very nice and very experienced. Even when we were running late on time, they made sure that everything went accordingly to plan with pictures. I was worried about figuring out what nice spots to take pictures at with my wedding party, but they just had so many different ideas and were very creative. The pictures came out so pretty!

The lead photographer was communicative, responsive, had a great energy and attitude and was wonderful to work with!

Gabe, Scott, the videographer and Photo Booth were all amazing! The team at TWA was professional and on top of their game if there were any changes. I would definitely work with them again if needed be!

Gabe was amazing!! He was very creative with the shots but was also able to keep things simple for us. He was patient with me and my husband and made all photos go seamlessly. During cocktail hour and the reception he knew just where to be without being in the way. Overall it was a fantastic experience, we can’t wait to see how the photos turn out! 😊

We had two photographers with our package. Art worked with me (the bride), and Harry worked with the groom while getting ready at the Courtyard by Marriott Chicago in Naperville, IL. Art was so wonderful, kept the mood positive and everything was stress free (for photos anyway :D) Then, we had our ceremony and reception at Arrowhead Golf Club in Wheaton, and Art/Harry walked us through all the poses and locations. I can't wait to see the final pix in about 6 weeks.

Anna B. was absolutely AMAZING. She has such an amazing eye for photography and I was in love with the photos she was showing me on her camera as the day went along. James H. was our other photographer and he was the ultimate hype man. My family loved him! We cannot wait to get our final photos back :)

We worked with Gaby as our lead photographer and she was amazing. She made sure to get all the pictures that we sent we wanted. Our second photo journalist photographer was Rudy and he was so fun and engaging. Our bridal party and guests had a lot of fun taking pictures with him. We can’t wait to see our pictures when they are ready. Would highly recommend TWA photographic artists. They are extremely professional and passionate about their work and it shows.

We had the pleasure of working with Heather McDaniel as our lead photographer for our wedding day and she was AMAZING!! Not only did she help us get all the shots we wanted, she stepped in to help me with my veil and bustle and even sewed it when it broke! She was my hype woman throughout the day, making me feel so beautiful! She had a calm demeanor that helped calm my nerves throughout the day. I have nothing bad to say about her and I am so appreciative of everything she did for us. I couldn’t recommend TWA and Heather enough!

Heather was amazing! She was so thoughtful with all of the pictures that she took. She also had some really awesome ideas that we would have never thought of! She helped with things besides photography too, I would 100% recommend her to anyone who wants an amazing photographer!

The photographers and videographer on our wedding day were absolutely amazing and patient! They brought a lot of great ideas to the table to ensure we captured every aspect of our day. We were able to request the same photographer, Kamil for our engagement shoot and wedding day. He was a blast, professional, and supportive. Adam our photo journalist was amazing! Came up with lightening round to capture photos of each table and even brought a fan! Very kind and professional. Kathy, our videographer was fun, kind, and extremely nice. We found TWA through a wedding expo last December/January for our wedding April 2024. The reps at the expo were super friendly and our online consultation was very informative. We also appreciated the payment plan options and that we got all of the images digitally no matter which package we chose. We did our engagement shoot with TWA and the photographer was very professional and experienced. We got a photography package and added a second photographer for the ceremony/photo shoot. We loved that both photographers had their own styles and visions that led to really great and diverse pictures. They went above and beyond to get the perfect shot. They were full of energy and willing to go to a second location for more pictures. To be honest my husband and I were too tired to continue or we would have gone! Make sure to schedule a few hours in between your ceremony and reception to get plenty of time and not feel rushed. The cost listed in the review included 1 all day photographer, a second photographer for 5 hours, the wedding book, all digital images, and an engagement shoot with 5 images.

John Kalad and James Harvey were my photographers. They did an amazing job. They took every shot we wanted and worked amazing together. They helped to ensure our wedding went off without a hitch.

TWA has been great to work from the second we booked, to just finishing up our last edits on our wedding album! We were matched with Kamil as the photographer for our wedding and working with him was a great experience. I'm very camera shy and not much of a poser but he made all of us felt very relaxed and at ease. Everybody in the bridal party could sense the passion he has in what he does. We haven't seen the results of his work yet but just reviewing our experience working with him on the day of our wedding is enough enjoyable.

Jerry was our photographer. He was absolutely amazing! He showed up early and stayed late. He was personable, professional, and so detailed oriented! We are so thankful to share our day with Jerry and have him immortalize our amazing day! We received our photos a week after the wedding they were amazing 1200+ We just received our photo album, absolutely stunning! Expensive but worth it!

The team of photographers and videographer for my wedding this past weekend was so amazing. I was in contact with them before the wedding and was able to tell them some specific pictures I want taken and they did not disappoint. They arrived on time at the locations and right away started taking photos/videos without delay. They were all so sweet and extremely talented. We were able to get some of our pictures back already and the quality is so perfect! That was without photoshop or any editing at all! We can’t wait to see the rest of our pictures and videos.

Joanna was excellent! She was our main photographer for the day and I swear was the reason everything ran smoothly. You can tell just from the start her experience & professionalism. She had a vision and captured it & was so helpful throughout the day- I truthfully cannot thank / recommend her enough. Wonderful experience with this vendor! The photographers we used showed up early, were prepared, listened to our ideas and timeline throughout the day, and made it very easy to take photos with family and our wedding party. We chose TWA from a number of preferred vendors, and we’re so glad we did! TWA was nothing but professional and organized from the very beginning. Initially we did not know what to expect because we did not have one consistent point of contact; however, despite being a large company with many divisions, they provided specific guidance each step of the way. Both did an incredible job making us feel at ease, yet understanding the opportunities to snap the perfect photo. Renata offered a playful and candid take on the day, and Gaby’s calm demeanor and creative eye behind the camera was reflected on how we looked on the other side of the lens! TWA was helpful and professional from the very first meeting! It’s easy to get in contact with them when questions arise. They also send emails throughout the months leading up to your wedding with reminders about things to schedule or next steps. My lead photographer Gina was amazing! Super kind and made us feel so comfortable taking pictures on our wedding day. Our second photographer, Harry, was awesome as well!

TWA were great on the day of our wedding. I really appreciated that they didn't take us away from our guests too long and really tried to make sure we were having a good time. It was really hot on the day of our wedding, so they were sensitive to the situation and made sure our outside photos were quick and painless.

Kamil, Greg and Cameron blew me away with their simultaneous level of professionalism yet being friendly and fun enough to put the entire bridal party at ease. From our first zoom meeting and up to the date of my wedding they were great about checking in and making sure all my needs were met and questions were answered. Justin was our main photographer for the day. I can not describe how amazing he was. Between asking me if I’m okay when I was nervous, hyping me up for various photos, chiming in and having fun with the bridal party, and making sure he gets every photo I asked for. Him and TWA made this experience so much better. I highly recommend them, they are worth every cent. If you are allowed to request Justin, do it. He is amazing and is the reason I now think so highly of this company.

We had Mikhail and Adam as our photographers on the wedding day and they were so amazing. Having 2 photographers was definitely the best decision. Larry was the best!! He was a big hit with our wedding party and was so great to work with. We loved having his guidance and creative ideas for the perfect shots. We had our dogs apart of the wedding and he was able to capture pictures with them too!

I felt like my wedding would be in good hands from the first consultation with Jillian. She was very informative and provided a detailed explanation of all packages and options and answered any questions I had. I emailed back and forth with my photographer (Ruben Burgos) several times before our first phone call and he asked plenty of questions to ensure he was prepared for our day. I felt confident that he would do a wonderful job, but he went above and beyond what we asked of him. Our guests commented that Ruben made them feel so comfortable while taking photos, he created a great environment for everyone. Our videographer (Allan Nino) did a wonderful job and also went above what we asked of him. Both Ruben and Allan were more fantastic than what we imagined and they worked well together, collaborating to ensure they both got the right shots they needed and not stepping on each other's toes at all. When I got my photos back, I was so amazed with how beautiful they were! I am so glad I chose TWA to capture my special day.

TWA did a phenomenal job with making our dream wedding come true. Larry helped us from coordinating the when & how many months prior, down to the last hour taking beautiful nighttime pictures at the end of our celebration. We had such a wonderful experience with TWA! My friend recommended TWA to my husband and I after she and her husband used TWA for her wedding a few years ago. Heather is AMAZING!!! You will not find a photographer more efficient, prepared, and talented. She took her time asking question and truly listening to what we wanted before the wedding so the day of was SO smooth. TWA made my wedding picture dreams come true. Everything was so smooth and they followed all the wishes I had for my pictures. They found time to make sure I got all the posed pictures I was hoping for as well as tons of candids as well. I loved the meetings beforehand to help me plan and the album is a great touch!

My photographer was AMAZING!!!!!! His name was Mikhail and he was spot on the ENTIRE TIME. Never missed a beat and gave us the most beautiful poses throughout the night. I cannot wait to see the final photos.

They were great to work with. The whole process was so smooth. I at first thought this has to be too good to be true! Everyone I met was wonderful. My photographers and videographer captured every moment perfectly.

From the first meeting to the last their attention to detail and listening and delivering to our wants for our wedding day..they absolutely NAILED it! We could not be more pleased! Our photographer Jerry was absolutely INCREDIBLE! He brought so much enthusiasm and joy to our day. He showed me some raw photos on his camera as he took them, and they were stunning. 🤩 Our secondary photographer Greg was also amazing as well. I can’t wait to see our photos from them! Kathy our videographer was so sweet, answered all our questions and was so professional! She shot some many different angles and was on the dance floor with us all night. I can’t wait to see our video.

Photographers were great! They coordinated with each other well. Our engagement photographer was amazing too. She worked with us when we ran a lil late for our appointment.

Larry was an AMAZING photographer to work with throughout our entire wedding planning process. We met him last spring, where he did our engagement pictures, and we knew right away we had a great photographer to work with. However, getting our wedding photos back we are completely blown away. We would highly recommend him and the rest of the TWA team to work with!

We had a bad experience with TWA. The quality of services didn’t align with the price. We were shocked to get our final images just two full business days after our wedding, which is a function of how little care and quality the images are. Blurry images, shots of walls that seem to have been taken for light metering, etc. Specifically, missed shots, including one of four wedding party members coming down the aisle! Glaringly obvious editing mistakes from the blanket post-filter they apply to the whole portfolio and don’t review to see when it ruins the shot. The attitude of their customer service representative, who’s concerned with negative reviews, but not offering meaningful solutions, just putting blame on us and dismissing our concerns. Really frustrating. If you’re looking for a wedding photographer, you either need to spend serious money for an artist (at least appx. 7-9,000), or just spend $500 on a person who is a semi-pro/hobbyist. Updating 6 months later to note TWA has still not offered any type of solution, just excuses.

They overcommunicated AFTER the wedding sending us eight emails during the ten days on our honeymoon. The photographers themselves were professional and very timely.

We were very pleased with our experience & over all with everything through our whole journey. We had a great time with our photographer and felt so comfortable with her through our special day. Our videographer was the same she made sure I was comfortable with everything and what her focus was. Great experience!
