Jo is AMAZING! She did an unbelievable job of understanding our style. We got a bouquet and boutonnière that were better than we could’ve imagined! We were working on a budget and she was more than willing to work with us and let us know about the different options she could offer. She is so nice and easy to communicate with. She delivered our flowers the morning of our wedding and let us know what each flower was and let us know which ones could be dried and preserved. There are so many special parts of our wedding and my bouquet is definitely way up there toward the top of the list. Jo is crazy talented and a sweetheart too! Hire her!

Now that my wedding planning process is over, the thing I miss most is working with Jo on her absolutely beautiful arrangements, designs, and unique installs! She is truly a dream to work with - she was so easy to talk with, plan ideas, and her execution on the wedding day was flawless. On top of her talent with flowers, she is super kind and a wonderful person to know. I'm grateful for her amazing partnership throughout my wedding planning and am so glad we've stayed in touch after the big day!

Joanna of Twig & Briar is MAGIC. My wife and I worked with Jo for our wedding and we could not have been more impressed and thankful for her flowers. Tons of our guests commented specifically on the flowers at our wedding, and rightly so, because they were truly incredible. My wife's bouquet, all the bridesmaids' bouquets, all of the boutonnieres, the flower crowns for our flower girls, the centerpieces, and the cake florals were all out-of-this-world beautiful. We also rented a chuppah stand from Jo, which she decorated absolutely perfectly. We met with Jo three times over our year and a half of planning to go over details, talk about our vision, etc. and each time she was receptive and just as excited as we were about the big day. The care she took to make sure she understood what we did and didn't want was so detailed, and we were confident from the very beginning that she would deliver exactly what we were looking for. She also incorporated our personal elements (a special chuppah to use with her stand, a special fabric to use for my wife's bouquet) perfectly. Long story short: Everything Jo touches is fantastic. We couldn't have been happier working with her, and are so thankful we did.

I honestly don't even know where to start. Joanna was an absolute pleasure to work with. We were blown away by her talent and creativity. I knew from the moment I saw her instagram that I had to have her as our florist, and once we talked on the phone for the first time, we really clicked and there was no going back. I got quotes from 4 full service florists in the area, and surprisingly and luckily enough for me, Twig and Briar was by far the most reasonable. I had many ideas for what I wanted, and it seemed like we had similar styles (romantic, loose, wild-looking, with lots of texture, while not being tooooo rustic) so I was able to give her names of a few flowers and colors I wanted incorporated, and let her work her magic with the rest. I love how she so clearly loves her job, and is so passionate about it. I had a very large wedding- around 300 people, and Jo told me this was her largest ever, but that she was ready for the challenge and man did she knock it out of the park. Jo and her assistant were on time with everything, another important point to make! The compliments are still coming in about our wedding flowers! Thanks to Jo, our flowers were one of my favorite parts of our wedding (besides my husband :))

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Jo and her work. I didn’t have a clear vision of what I wanted at first, but she was patient, warm and helpful at every turn. She helped us hone in on what we liked and didn’t like, all the while considering our budget and needs. The day of the wedding, I was floored by what she dropped off. Every detail was perfect and beautifully executed. I also never even had to coordinate pick-up/drop-off of the other items (centerpieces, arbor, and vases) I had organized with her. Everything was in place where it should be and gathered up after. She worked with my venue ahead of time, so I wouldn’t have to worry about any of those things. From start to finish, Jo was one of my favorite decisions I made when planning my wedding. By the day-of, I felt like we were good friends and was so excited to meet her and bask in all the beauty she brought to the day. Thank you Jo for all that you added to the best day of my life.

Jo is an incredibly gifted florist. I chose her because I loved her vision. So much so, that when we met to go over my floral design, I gave her a only few loose guidelines (pretty much just colors) and asked her to run with it. I knew that allowing her to use her own creativity would be my best bet, and boy did she deliver. We had a beautiful copper arbor, adorned with a lush floral arrangement. Jo stuck around to repurpose parts of the arrangement to other places around our venue to ensure we were able to use the flowers as decor beyond just the ceremony. Our bouquets were so beautiful, and the table centerpieces were stunning. She was responsive throughout the entire process, and helped me think creatively about how to stay within budget. Jo is an artist, and I can’t recommend her enough!

Jo was fantastic! Her style is amazing and we were absolutely floored by her creative, unique arrangements. Our venue was a complete blank slate with white walls, and Jo brought it to life – we would not have had the look we wanted without her incredible talent. The window installation was a particular highlight – she constructed a web of vines and flowers that looked like the forest floor. Dozens of our friends lined up in that spot to take photographs with their significant others. We can’t recommend her highly enough – an absolute joy to work with. Thank you, Jo!!!

Just...Wow. Amazing. Fantabulous. I loved working with Jo, she was so nice, easy to work with and totally down to earth. She got exactly what I was looking for and totally nailed it on the day. She hand delivered the bouquet and boutonnieres which was so sweet and very personal. She worked with our budget, our wants/needs/desires, you name it! She's like WonderWoman, but with flowers; Thank you so so much Jo!

Jo was absolute magic. All we knew was the mood we wanted our flowers to give but no idea how to execute. We gave free reign to Jo and she delivered us a dream. On a technical side, she helped us work within our budget, she didn't try to oversell us anything, and she always kept up amazing contact. I knew from our first phone call that she was the one we needed. She gives every single arrangement a personality of its own and she reflected us so well in the details. If you are looking for a florist who is going to design your florals to be as unique as you are, she is the one. Hands down. I dried all my bouquet flowers immediately after because I couldn't bear to say goodbye to them. On top of all that she is one of the kindest people I've ever met. She genuinely cares about your wedding and wants to make to make it as beautiful as possible. Trust me, you're in good and very talented hands with her.

Jo did the floral for our wedding in Sept 2018. Jo does very beautiful floral work (just check her instagram!), and I was excited she was available to work with us on our wedding day. Before planning our wedding, I was not planning on spending much on flowers as it felt like a waste of money, but we expanded our budget as both my husband and I really loved her work. She was very pleasant to work with leading up to the wedding and seemed to understand what we were looking for. She even created a custom copper chuppah for us that we asked for. Here are my two complaints: 1) She was late delivering the flowers to the wedding party. While she seemingly was in the hotel setting up for the ceremony (ok, fine), we had to call her to track her down to get the bouquets and boutinierres so we could go take photos. She was about 5-10 minutes late, nothing crazy, but it's a stressful and tight schedule. 2) Given my feelings about spending money on flowers, I asked Jo if it would be possible to re-purpose the bridesmaids bouquets and the flowers from the ceremony to be used during the reception. Jo said this was no problem. She very flawlessly repurposed flowers from the chuppah and put them on our sweetheart table. This looked perfect. My one complaint is related to the re-purposing of the bridesmaids' bouquets. She left the ribbon and pins on the bouquets when she put them on the table. I know this seems like a small, knit picky thing, but it looked very cheap and made it seem VERY obvious we were re-purposing the bouquets. When I asked Jo about doing this during the planning process, she said it wasn't a problem and that she thought it would still look good so it didn't seem like she was resentful about having to do this. Therefore, I was very surprised/horrified while doing my rounds with my guests during the reception that the centerpieces were very clearly the bouquets. It was embarrassing and I likely wouldn't have done this had I known this would be her execution. Overall, I would say we had a very positive experience and I would recommend her, though I would suggest being very clear about your expectations.

Jo was such a gem to work with. She is very professional and always responsive. Her floral arrangements are beautiful and I received compliments from the guests. She really listens to your likes and dislikes. She was also able to create something with very little to go on from me. I really didn't know what flowers to pick and I just trusted her. Just from us talking and a few examples I sent she really nailed the look I wanted but enable to explain. Thank you so much! <3

Working with Jo was a dream come true. Originally, we did not plan on having a florist as we were never blown away by wedding florals and thought it was an easy way to save money. Once seeing Jo's arrangements, we couldn't help ourselves and she did not disappoint. She is professional, takes the time to get to know her clients, is beyond creative, and is such a pleasure to work with. Jo is the best! She's extremely talented and truly blew us away on our wedding day. From the beginning of working with Jo I had a million ideas and questions and she was just so fun and positive to chat with to figure out what I truly wanted. I LOVED my bouquet, it had so many unique florals in it and the colors were so perfect for a fall wedding. She transformed our venue, adding beautiful pops of color and greens on all of the tables and this amazing sculptural piece that crept up the wall behind our table. Hands down, work with Jo if you get the opportunity! Not only was her craft exquisite but she's so cool and genuine and easy to work with. I'm so happy that we did!

I can’t say enough amazing things about Jo as our florist!! From our very first meeting, she was sweet & knowledgeable. Jo is a mastermind!!! I still can not get over the beauty of every floral arrangement she puts together. From my first meeting with Jo I explained the vision I had in my head and she nailed that vision down to the last sprig of greenery. My bouquet brought tears to my eyes and I could tell how much of her heart she poured into crafting the beautiful blooms she provided on my wedding day. We hired Twig & Briar for our September wedding. Jo completely blew my mind with these arrangements. I’m the kind of person who can’t tell the different between roses and dahlias, so I was very unsure what I wanted. All I knew is that I didn’t want the typical cookie cutter floral arrangements. Giving her the creative freedom to do what she wanted, you can tell just how passionate she is about her work and loves what she does. Her personality is amazing and was exactly what we were looking for. She worked with our budget and was a dream throughout the planning, especially with all the changes we made. People couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful the flowers were, not one centerpiece was left behind. Guests had even called my mother the day after to ask if there were any extras arrangements they could have. So happy to have booked her!

When it was time to choose a florist, we only met with Joanna and from our first meeting We knew she was the right person to put together our vision. She is so passionate about what she does. From our first meeting I could tell how important it was to her to get exactly what I wanted and she went above and beyond to get me peonies at the end of June!! Walking into my venue the day of my wedding I was speechless. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous. She even sent some sneak peaks the week of which was very exciting to see! Everyone could not stop raving about how beautiful the flowers were. And there are no words to describe my bouquet, I’ve never seen anything like it. Jo is so kind and genuine and she was the absolute best decision we made about our wedding!

Joanna from Twig & Briar was fantastic. She captured our vision for the bouquets and tables perfectly. The tables were in one of the guests words "perfect - low enough to see over and looked like they had been picked that morning from the neighbors garden". That was exactly the look we wanted. Absolutely stunning designs that are unique - certainly not your typical, run of the mill bouquets and centerpieces. Joanna from Twig and Briar Floral Design created the most gorgeous bouquets for myself and my bridesmaids, and simple yet elegant boutennieres and corsages for the groomsmen and family members. We had met a month or so prior to my wedding to discuss my vision for the bouquets. She was very professional and asked all the right questions, things I hadn’t even thought of. I had seen pictures of her work before and they were all exquisite, so I just told her my wedding colors and gave her the creative freedom with the rest. The final product was more than I ever dreamed! She delivered them to the venue right when she said she would, and she even helped pin the boutonnieres on the groomsmen. I only wish that our centerpieces didn’t come with the package we chose at the venue because I would have loved her to do them! I could not have asked for a better and more professional florist for my wedding in October! Joanna went above and beyond in every aspect - I am not a flower expert by any means, so when I needed her advice, she was there!
