Twin Lakes went above and beyond to make our winter wedding day perfect, they exceeded all of our expectations. I would highly recommend them to any couple looking for the perfect venue!

We had our our wedding reception on New Year's Eve at Twin Lakes Golf & Swim Club. Everything was perfect. The staff was extremely professional and helpful, the food was wonderful and the ballroom was absolutely beautiful. We are so pleased that we chose Twin Lakes for our venue.

Oh My, where to start? Everything was wonderful. From Ashley to Chris to Alan, you all were amazing! Beautiful venue, beautiful grounds and AMAZING staff! Thank you so much for helping make the day magical. And to the server of table #14, you went above and beyond! WOW! Thank you to all!

Twin Lakes was a beautiful and perfect venue for our wedding! The staff was very helpful and professional through out the planning process and made our wedding day flawless. The food was delicious and our guests were very impressed with everything. Overall, we were extremely happy with having our special day at Twin Lakes and would highly recommend to anyone.

I was the Maid of Honor in my girlfriends wedding back in July 2017 and I have never had such a positive experience with a venue before! The staff was incredible with the bridal party and gave my friend (the bride) the best experience for her big day! They did an amazing job moving things along throughout the day for her with exactly what she wanted. The food was INCREDIBLE and so was the service. Everyone that works there is so sweet and helpful, they really make your Dream day come true. I loved it so much, my fiancé and I had to book our wedding there. We are looking forward to getting married under the beautiful gazebo and eating their delicious food. I would recommend this venue to any bride to be! The team at Twin Lakes can make anything happen and any dream come alive! I’m looking forward to my big day!

Married 9/23 and had our cocktail hr in the gazebo and reception in the banquet hall. Location was picture perfect. Food was incredible and service outstanding. Special requests handled with expertise and final result was a most worry and stress free wedding day. Your guests will thank you over and over again if you have your special day there.

Twin Lakes is absolutely beautiful and I so enjoyed having my wedding there. The gazebo is gorgeous and the ballroom is really breathtaking when it's decorated. My only complaint would be that I worked with 4 or 5 different people throughout my wedding planning experience, instead of having 1 steady point of contact. This made things pretty difficult and confusing for both parties. I had to repeat things several times to several people and the communication on their end was very disjointed. There were a few things brought up in our final meeting that I should have been informed about months prior, which gave me added stress in the weeks before the big day. Nonetheless, I'm so happy I chose Twin Lakes and hope my experience was maybe just a period of high turnover for some reason.

My husband & I got married at Twin Lakes this past Saturday (6-24-17) & could not be more pleased with choosing Twin Lakes. From the entire process leading up to our wedding day, to the actual day of, Ashley was incredible. The service our guests receive was 100%. From cocktail hour, dinner and the bar service all night, the staff was amazing & very friendly!!!! We are so thrilled with everything & would highly recommend Twin Lakes to anyone who is looking for a perfect wedding! They will give you one :)

So many issues! The majority of the issues stemmed from double booking the venue and holding another wedding at the same time in the banquet room next door. When we originally booked our wedding in February of 2015 we were told by Emily that double booking would not happen. We were then never notified Emily had even left until we scheduled a followup meeting just to make sure everything was on track since we were starting to book vendors. Along with not double booking we were also told we could increase our numbers since you could just open up the wall further to accommodate more guests. When we attempted to increase our guest number we were surprised to hear we were not able to do so because there was another wedding booked in the room next door. When we arrived to Twin Lakes after our ceremony for golf course pictures the golf carts were not ready for us and once they became available we originally got assigned a young employee who was working her first day to take us out on the golf course. She quickly stated she had no idea where to take us and found another employee to escort us onto the golf course. Thankfully our photographer spoke up because the original places we were taken on the golf course were less than spectacular for wedding photos. Between our photos on the golf course and going into our reception room there was nowhere for us to go or put our personal belongings. We were told we would be given the Bride and Groom rooms to get ready and wait in until the time of our grand entrance. When we asked about going to those rooms we were told that they were given to the other wedding since they actually had their wedding on site. We booked our wedding way in advance of the other group so those rooms should not have been given up to them. We were also told on days they hold weddings the grill closes early so the wedding party, bride and groom can go in there to use the bathroom and freshen up without having to go all the way out into the hallway to use the bathroom. This was not the case. The grill was packed full of people. Since we were not given the proper bride and groom rooms we were forced to walk through the grill full of people into a “board room” that was full of stacked chairs and tables. The room didn’t even have a mirror for anybody to freshen up in. We only had 12 people in our wedding party and we had to all cram into this room so none of the guests would see us before the grand entrance. Once in the banquet room we encountered more issues. The food was slow, water was not being refilled at tables and their was only 1 bartender. We have never been to a wedding that has had only one bartender serving the entire room. There was multiple occasions when our guests and us went to the bar and there was nobody even there. We assume the bartender was overwhelmed and could have used a second person there to assist them. We were also assured that with the other wedding being there the same time as us, they would not be allowed to come into our room at any point during the night. There was multiple times when we had guests from the other wedding in our room throughout the night. Multiple guests were witnessed coming from the other wedding to grab cupcakes off our dessert table. We also had to ask some of the guests to leave our room because they had come over and were dancing in our room.

We really can't thank the staff at Twin Lakes enough for providing us with the best wedding experience! Our day was absolutely perfect and it ran so smoothly! I didn't have to worry about a thing! The food was amazing and the size of the room was perfect for the amount of guests we had. Twin Lakes provided us with a vendor list for all of our decorations and services and they were all just as accommodating and easy to work with! We would recommend them to anyone!

Perfect is how I would describe our June 2016 wedding reception at Twin Lakes! After we attended a friend's wedding there a few years ago, we knew it was the perfect venue for us. My husband and I are golfers, so that was a requirement of our venue. Although there was a lot of turnover in staff, I never felt that I wasn't being taken care of. The staff was always professional and helpful throughout the entire planning process. The day of the wedding, we received so many compliments on how beautiful the venue was and how delicious the food was. If you can, I highly suggest the martini luge...our guests LOVED it! I couldn't have dreamed up a better venue for my wedding...it was perfect :)

My husband and I had our reception at Twin Lakes in May and I can't say enough about how perfect it was! Our guests raved about the food and our outdoor cocktail hour. The staff made sure everything was perfect and were all very helpful! I highly recommend it!

My wedding day was the most incredible day of my life. We had our ceremony and reception at Twin Lakes in June 2016. The venue was absolutely gorgeous! I couldn't be happier with the way things turned out. We got ready in the locker rooms and my husband golfed the morning of the wedding. It was perfect! Unfortunately, I have to let other brides know about the staff at Twin Lakes. We started working with Twin Lakes at the end of December 2015 (we got SUPER lucky that someone had just cancelled their Saturday wedding in June!). About a month or two into working with Twin Lakes our coordinator was fired, so we were set up with another coordinator. It ended up being okay, we met with her and went over all of our requests to ensure nothing was forgotten. BUT then after another month or two, that coordinator quit! So we were set up with yet another coordinator (our third in 5 months!!!!) and this time the coordinator didn't reach out to ensure all the details were correct or that we were on the same page. My husband and I were living in Florida for the six weeks leading up to our wedding (we moved home the day before we got married!!) so I relied heavily on email. There were a few times when my emails went unanswered. It was nerve wrecking! I was terrified that my dream wedding that we spent thousands and thousands of dollars on would be a bust! I prided myself on not being a bridezilla so I tried to stay calm and roll with the changes but it was challenging! I think a lot of brides would have a huge problem with it! So at the end of the day, yes my wedding was perfect but a ton of stress could have been avoided! The men that worked the morning of the wedding setting up the ballroom were incredible! I was there at 9 am to set up and get ready and the men asked me what I wanted them to set up first and if there was anything they could do to help! It was so refreshing to have help since I was terrified there would be issues all day based on the constant turnover of wedding coordinators! I DO RECOMMEND TWIN LAKES BUT I DO SO WITH RESERVATION, I WANT BRIDES TO BE PREPARED FOR EVER CHANGING STAFF.

My wedding reception at Twin Lakes was perfect! In the weeks leading up to my reception, Jaclyn and Jessica quickly answered all of my questions, and verified that all of the details that I had asked for were completed and would be done properly. The staff had set up the grand ballroom beautifully, and the outdoor patio was a perfect spot for guest to gather during cocktail hour. Allowing my groom and I and our wedding party to go out on the golf course with the golf carts lead to many laughs, as well as beautiful photos! The food was AMAZING and my guest were raving about how it was the best they've ever had! I couldn't have asked for a better day, and would recommend Twin Lakes to anyone looking for the perfect venue!

I can't say enough amazing things about Twin Lakes. Everything was amazing from the staff, to the food, to the venue/location itself. I typically never use the word Perfect but I would absolutely use that word to describe Twin Lakes. The staff was incredible and so responsive answering every question we had and working tirelessly to make our day the most special one. The venue was absolutely impeccable and the service and food was just indescribable. Our guests could not stop talking about how amazing everything was. I'm so thankful we made the decision to go with Twin Lakes and honestly can't say thank you enough to everyone who works there. THANK YOU SO MUCH! - From a very grateful Bride!!

We had an amazing experience at twin lakes, and so did our guests. They were very accommodating and made sure our day was absolutely perfect. Jaclyn was super helpful and made sure every detail was exactly how we wanted it. I would recommend this venue to anyone! The grounds are beautiful, food was amazing (every guest thought so as well: salmon and fillet).

We could not be more happy with our decision to have our ceremony and reception at Twin Lakes! They were so helpful all along the way and attentive to all of our needs. The gazebo and ball room proved to be as beautiful as we had expected on our wedding day! Everything was arranged perfectly and coordinated so well, we didn't hear of a single complaint from any of our guests. We had Filet Mignon and Chicken Florentine for our dinner choices; both were phenomenal. The waitstaff and bartender were great; food was served quickly to our 12 tables and the wait at the bar was never long for our guests. All around our experience with Twin Lakes was perfect!

Our wedding was absolutely beautiful at this gorgeous venue. We are so beyond thankful for all of the wonderful staff and everything they did to make our day go as smoothly as as perfectly as possible! Would absolutely recommend this venue to every bride and groom looking for a place to have their wedding. (Our wedding ceremony and reception was there - Both were PERFECT!)

Twin lakes is a beautiful venue, however, I wish I would have planned to have my reception anywhere else. Everything turned out ok, but there were a lot of headaches getting to the end goal. First off, they are extremely expensive. If we had gone with another venue, our budget would have stretched a lot farther.... Their sales and event coordination staff is never on the same page and will do just about anything to get another $100 out of you. In the whole grand scheme of wedding planning, $100 is pocket change, but when you've already paid $30,000, those little extra costs can hurt. We lost our original coordinator half way through the planning process. She quit and we were assigned a new girl who in her defense was not given all of the details that had been discussed with the previous girl. We were made all kinds of promises that were not delivered and having to "re-plan" with a new coordinator added more stress to my already very full plate. Jaclyn was rarely available when I needed questions answered, and every single time I emailed her I would get an out of office response. I understand that everyone needs days off, and things come up that require work to be missed, but we felt like we were never made a priority throughout the entire planning process. The day of the wedding, everything ended up working out just fine, but we had to pitch a for or two to get it there. The coordination staff does not pay very close attention to details. For example, they set up our "late night snack" at 8:00 when we had planned for it to be put out at 10:00. Some of our guests did not even have their meal yet.... That's another thing. We did have a large wedding, so feeding 300 people in a timely manner is difficult, but they came up with the timeline for the night with us. I thought it was a bit reductions that dinner was supposed to be served at 7 and people were just getting their food at 9:00... They were unorganized. One table would be done eating before the very next table got their food. There were just a lot of small things that rolled together to make me not so happy with twin lakes. My wedding was wonderful and we had an incredible time, but the twin lakes staff really needs to get their stuff together...

My husband and I attended a wedding here in July. The ballroom was beautiful and the dance floor was nice and large. The wait staff were very attentive starting with presenting the wonderful appetizers and continuing with serving the delicious family style dinner. The event coordinators, Jessica and Jaclyn, were present, helping out wherever needed and making sure things ran well. We look forward to attending another wedding at Twin Lakes.

Twin Lakes is a gorgeous venue to use for your special day. Although we were frustrated with the number of times the TL wedding staff changed while we were planning throughout the year, the day was perfect. My guests raved about the food. I would definitely recommend TL for your wedding venue.

We had just our reception at Twin Lakes and overall had a great experience! All the girls in the office were beyond helpful and always quick to answer any questions we had – they were a complete dream to work with! Our guests absolutely loved the food – everyone could not believe how much food they received, how warm everything was when it was served and just how delicious the food was (we choose to do a family style dinner). Having use of the whole ballroom was beyond perfect – the dance floor was huge, there was plenty of room to walk in-between then tables / pull your chair out from the table, nothing felt too tight/cramped. The venue itself was ideal (the grounds were so pretty and the ballroom is so classis, you can really make it how you want it) – if guests wanted to get out of the ballroom they were able to go outside by the Gazebo or mingle in the hallway right outside the ballroom. We had the best experience with Twin Lakes and would most definitely recommend them to anyone looking to have their reception there! :)

We had our reception at Twin Lakes Golf and Swim Club. We worked with a few different event coordinators there due to some changes they made over about a year and a half. Overall, it was an amazing experience. The three coordinators were all so helpful and nice. It didn't seem like we missed a beat when they would transition to someone else. They were very understanding of changes as well. The day it self was amazing. I was so worried about getting calls from vendors, but the day flowed so smoothly and the set up in the grand ballroom was absolutely beautiful. All the guests were raving about the outdoor cocktail hour on the gazebo even though it was about 95 degrees and the scenery around the club is just gorgeous. I am so glad we got to see the room before all the guests were in there. We enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend this venue to anyone.

My husband and I attended a wedding at Twin lakes this past August. We loved the venue so much we have since booked the venue for our 2016 wedding. The food was amazing not to mention the great staff!

Absolutely gorgeous setting! The hall has windows all around and the outdoor landscaping looks amazing. I was so happy with the food and service and had so many guests compliment on how lovely their experience was at my wedding. Now I normally am not one to write reviews but it’s important to know what experiences are really like for a major event like your wedding so I couldn’t help but expressing how pleased I was with Twin Lakes!!!! I wouldn’t change a thing!

We had our ceremony and reception this October at Twin Lakes and all I can say is it was amazing and perfect! The beautiful ceremony was complimented by the backdrop of fall colors. The staff helped make my day complete from the planning to the wedding day! Thank you for making my day more than what I hoped for!

A couple glitches in the planning process with planners quitting and getting fired, but when all was said and done it was absolutely perfect and the day was exactly what we wanted!

DO NOT USE THIS VENUE. Things started off really nice. Then Amber, the wedding coordinator there, is no longer there. No fault of hers, I wish her the best in her career. What I do have a problem with is the lack of professionalism that this establishment has. They messed up the day of the wedding and do not even have the courtesy to reimburse me for the horrible experience they provided. Instead, they offer me a round of golf, after we invested all that money into the wedding. Here is what happened: 1. Day of the wedding the seating numbers were set up incorrectly by the staff instead of setting up the numbers that we provided them two weeks prior. This caused the Mother of the Bride to be seated in the back of the room, away from the head table and her daughter. 2. We had set up a memorial shot in honor of my wife's dad who passed away a couple of months earlier. We worked it out with the coordinator that during the Mother/Son dance, the servers would bring drinks to the tables before the Mother/Daughter dance and toast. This is what was agreed upon. Instead, they made an announcement seconds before the Mother/Son dance for people to go grab shots from the bar. The whole time the Mother/Son dance was going on, people were flooding to the bar, causing a distraction during a special dance. All which could of been avoided if we stuck to the plan. Twin Lakes tried to put the blame on their former employee saying that she should of informed us. 3. We had a family style dinner. Simple, bring out a giant plate of food and it gets distributed amongst your guests. Not hard, so I would think. I have been in the service industry a long time and I know that there was no where close to the amount of servers that needed to be there for the size of the wedding, especially when we had to pay $6k in gratuities. That being said, after the head table was served, it took over an our before some tables received their meal, not to mention that some tables got their food cold. All said and done, these mistakes that the venue made on simple execution i felt deserved some sort of reimbursement. We ended up paying $25k+ to Twin Lakes. I was asking for $2k back since they did not provide the service that they promised. Instead, they countered with a round of golf to make up for the poor execution. The controller, Laura, was an absolute joke to talk to and clearly does not care about the reputation of Twin Lakes, but instead, how much money they can get from you. In my opinion, there are plenty of other options in Oakland County that will give you exceptionally better service and take care of you the way you should be treated.

One of the things that really impressed us when we began our venue search was how helpful Amber at Twin Lakes was. She helped us through the majority of our wedding planning before she left Twin Lakes and Jennifer took over. We only worked with Jennifer during the last few weeks and I'll be honest that I was worried that she wouldn't know as much about our plans as Amber did, but everything was perfect on our wedding day. Our guests loved the outdoor cocktail hour and raved about the food. The space was very comfortable for our wedding of about 300 people and we were even able to rent out the board room which we used to provide childcare for our out-of-town guest that would have difficulty finding a sitter for the wedding.

My daughter had her ceremony and reception at Twin Lakes the end of May 2015. It was a challenging day with the weather but Amber and the staff handled the move inside flawlessly. The venue is beautiful and all the staff we dealt with were amazing. Our guests raved about the food and how smoothly everything ran with the transformation of the room after the ceremony. We had an excellent reception at Twin Lakes. When we were looking at venues, we loved the wall of windows looking out over the gazebo and the opportunity to take pictures out on the golf course. Our expected guest list was smaller at 140, so we were able to pay less for half the room. The staff was great in planning the wedding and the staff the day of provided great service. The set up was beautiful and everything ran smoothly. I would definitely recommend Twin Lakes as a reception venue for everyone. It was exactly what we wanted for our wedding!

I LOVED our Reception Hall. Amber was so accommodating and easy to work with and our Reception turned out beautiful. It was prettier than I ever imagined, she worked with our Florist and put together the most stunning hall I have ever seen. The backdrop of the golf course was fantastic for pictures. The staff was personable, charming, and very good as well. The food was outstanding, I have since received a lot of complements about the food. Thank you for all your hard work Amber!

I'm so glad we went with Twin Lakes for our wedding venue! You guys were so easy and pleasant to deal with from the start! EMILY YOU ARE A TRUE GEM! She helped us with all the details. You won't be disappointed in this place. Everything is so beautiful and the food is great!. All my guests were raving about how delicious everything was. Thank you all again for making our wedding a night we will never forget!

No wedding is perfect! However, if food is important to you, I do not recommend this venue. Even though we had a tasting in advance and met the Chef, the quality, presentation and portions were way off on our actual wedding day. Many of our guests received small portions, and much of it was served at room temperature. The large, gourmet chocolate dipped strawberries we were promised turned out to be comparatively dinky. The service staff was lackluster, the cake looked like it was cut by a 3-year-old...not the beautiful presentation I was hoping for. I could go on and on. The day after our wedding we received an email from the venue asking us to come up with service charge they forgot to add to our final bill. Even without alcohol, we ended up paying $50 per head for a food/service experience that we could have had at Applebee's. I don't think that for this price our expectations were unreasonable. There are many wonderful reviews for Twin Lakes, I really wish I could add another. To be helpful, if you choose this venue my advice is to sit down with the chef a week before your wedding and revisit the details to avoid potential disappointment. As a positive, if photographs are an important aspect of your wedding to you, the venue is gorgeous.

We had our reception at Twin Lakes in October and people are still talking about how great the food was! The staff was very helpful and accommodating. We loved how they made the mood very romantic by providing candles in all the big windows that had a great view of the trees. We are very glad we chose this venue! :)

Twin Lakes was exactly what we wanted for our ceremony and reception!! It was beautiful.. Even with the ceremony outside in late October! The food was delicious!! We had so many compliments with the food, and just overall reception. Amber and the rest of the staff were great to work with and were quick to respond when needed. All of our vendors worked well together and let my husband and I enjoy our big day! Overall, we were very happy with how everything turned out and would definitely recommend!

My husband and I got married at Twin Lakes in September and also held our reception here. The background was absolutely stunning and I cannot speak highly enough of Amber! She worked on every detail with us and put up with my gazillion emails and requests to make our day perfect. We received a TON of compliments on the food...it was so delicious! Twin Lakes was very accomodating to our needs and I even recommended it to a family friend who is having her reception there in 2015.

There is so much I could say. September 26, 2014 could not have been any better. It was simply amazing. Everything at Twin Lakes was perfect. The staff was so helpful and went out of their way to make sure noting went wrong. The plated dinner was cooked to perfection (chicken & filet). Outside cocktail hour was again wonderful. The wedding ceremony was beautiful with the fall colors in back of the Gazeebo. I would highly recommend Twin Lakes Golf Club as a top choice for a wedding. My husband and I had an October wedding at Twin Lakes and we could not have been happier with every aspect of the night! We were impressed from the very beginning when we first booked Twin Lakes as our venue. The wedding coordinator, Amber, was extremely knowledgeable and very responsive to all of our questions. On the day of, the ballroom was set up to perfection thanks to Amber and her team, and our guests were raving all night about how delicious the hors d’Oeuvres and meals were. I highly recommend this venue, you will not regret choosing Twin Lakes!

Twin Lakes did an amazing job on our wedding. Everything came out perfect from the food, appetizers and venue. Amber was great to work with and very helpful. They are a little expensive but wouldn't have changed a thing. I definitely would recommend Twin Lakes for a beautiful wedding location.

My husband and I were married and held our reception at Twin Lakes in October 2013. Twin Lakes was the only venue we saw in person, but we fell in love and couldn't pass it up! The staff had the full ceremony set up inside the ballroom as well as at the gazebo as the weather wasn't great. Though the day was chilly (and rainy), my husband would not budge on an outdoor wedding. The staff was great with accommodating us and our guests and helped everything to run efficiently so we could have the outdoor ceremony we wanted and our guests wouldn't freeze! We opted NOT to take the golf carts around the course for photos, but the landscaping and scenery near the building were gorgeous, so our photos turned out great. We took family photos in the beautiful lobby and everyone loved them. The main selling point for us was the ballroom reception area. The wall of windows provided half of our decorations with views of the fall-colored leaves, gazebo, and lakes on the grounds. Even as it got dark outside, lights in the trees made the view spectacular. We wanted a simple, rustic, elegant wedding, and this venue was everything we expected. The staff was wonderfully helpful and communicative. They made sure we knew how to reach them at all times, and that we were well taken care of. My wedding day was nothing short of my very high expectations, and everyone at Twin Lakes helped make that possible.

Great venue, food was excellent and service was exceptional. Received compliments from attendants all night on what a great time they had. My daughter made an excellent choice by having her wedding at Twin Lakes. It was an awesome experience!

My husband and I recently had an October wedding at Twin Lakes and it was amazing! I can honestly say we only had positive experiences using this vendor. Here are a few highlights I think are worth mentioning to brides planning their wedding: FOOD-Our guests keep talking about how much they LOVED the food and we agree, it was amazing! The highlight was the roasted veggies (which sounds weird, I know). Everyone loved the squash mix! STAFF-They were very helpful and easy to get a hold of during the planning process, and they really went out of their way to make sure our day was exactly how we wanted it. We really appreciated the effort they put into their food tasting by inviting a lot of quality vendors, and having a lot of linen options displayed on all the tables. I also want to compliment the wait staff because even they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed during our wedding. One of the bartenders even went on a search for my mom for me when I couldn't find her after the ceremony! Lol GOLF COURSE and GAZEBO-The golf course was the perfect setting for pictures. We were able to take the golf carts out to get some great photos. We had a blast doing that with our wedding party! I absolutely loved our outside ceremony at their gazebo! FLOOR PLAN-There were a lot of options for the floor plan so we were able to choose the perfect one for our reception. We were also able to change it the week before without any issues. OVERALL-We honestly couldn't have asked for a better vendor for our special day. It was perfect!

My husband & I just had our wedding reception at Twin Lakes about two weeks ago, and we could not have been more pleased with our experience! We received so many compliments from our guests on how fantastic the food and the service was, and my husband & myself wholeheartedly agree. Twin Lakes was super easy to work with, and they went above & beyond to ensure that everything was perfect for our big day. On the big day, everything was beautiful & went off without a hitch. This venue is also on a gorgeous golf course, so it was perfect for pictures, and Twin Lakes always hosts only one wedding a day, so no competing for space with other brides. Overall, our experience was amazing, and we couldn't have asked for a better day.

We had our daughter's wedding October 4, 2014 at Twin Lakes Golf Club. Amber was wonderful to work with as she was calm, friendly and very professional. Unfortunately, the weather was not good so we had to have the wedding inside but Amber handled it seamlessly. What could have been a difficult situation was turned into a beautiful ceremony and wedding reception with the help of Amber. Our food was great and the feed back from our guests was very positive.

My husband and I recently got married at Twin Lakes Golf and Swim Club in Oakland, MI. We couldn’t be more pleased with the service we received the day of our wedding. The banquet room is beautiful as is. We chose to add LED lights and draping above the dance floor which just added to the already elegant ambiance of the room. The food was outstanding! Our guests raved about it. The staff was polite, professional and accommodating to our guests. We did not get married at Twin Lakes, but we had our cocktail hour outside on the patio.(I highly recommend doing this.) The grounds are well taken care of. It’s a beautiful way to do cocktail hour and it’s a change of scenery for your guests instead of being in the reception hall all evening. My husband and I were able to take pictures alone and with our bridal party on the golf course. There were so many beautiful pictures spots. The woman (Amber) you deal with throughout the months leading up to the wedding is simply amazing! She is very organized and gets back to you quickly if you ever call or email with questions. I felt like she was my personal wedding coordinator. We felt very fortunate to have worked with her and the staff at Twin Lakes. Everything went smoothly and just as planned! It was a beautiful day!

I had a fabulous experience with Twin Lakes, they were very helpful. The food was amazing. I was very pleased with everything!

Friend and family were gushing about the food and service as much as they did about the beautiful bride. The service was excellent and the food outstanding. Every server was friendly and fast and the duel plate of chicken and beef was culinary perfection. We had some concern about recent turnover in staff, but Amber was a maestro coordinating every last detail. Needless to say, we already know where my other daughter's wedding reception will be held.

A bit expensive but the staff was great and the venue was beautiful.

Gorgeous venue! We had our ceremony and reception here in May of 2013 and it was great. Rebecca is their on site coordinator and she is fantastic- very helpful and knowledgeable the entire time. She promptly responded to our all of our questions. There was one point in time when we needed specific measurements of the gazebo to see if our chuppah would fit and she went outside to measure it for us so we could get that information to our florist. The evening of our rehearsal I was a bit disappointed that the outdoor area did not have as many planted flowers/hanging baskets as I expected (from when we had first visited the venue months earlier). We were told by the general manager not to worry that he would take care of it- the next morning there were gorgeous hanging baskets and freshly planted flowers! He even asked if I had any preference for the colors used! Food and service were great! I was not overly impressed with the food the day of the tasting event that Twin Lakes had but on the day of it was really good (as in if it was a restaurant I would definitely recommend my dinner to a friend. That is something I have never said before about wedding food!) We did have an issue with one of the bar tenders putting out a tip jar (gratuity was included in the food/beverage charge). As someone who worked in the industry I can appreciate that ever dollar is appreciated and we had brought additional cash to tip with. However, even after we asked her to remove the jar she continued to accept tips! When you invite someone to an event such as a wedding the guests do not expect to have to cover anything. The tip jar implied that we were not going to take care of her which was not the case because in the contract a gratuity was included and we intended to tip extra. While the issue was ultimately resolved it was inappropriate for the jar to be there in the first place and for her to continue accepting tips after we asked her to remove it. Overall- beautiful outdoor space for a ceremony, lovely indoor space (open, airy, bright, modern and clean). If I had to plan everything over I would definitely pick Twin Lakes again.

My wedding at twin lakes was better than I could've imagined! Rebecca Williams did such an amazing job with everything! Food was amazing..staff was so accommodating and were there to help with set up! Everything went off without a hitch thanks to everyong at twin lakes..it said 80% chance rain but never rained and was still able to have my wedding outside!! I would recommend this venue to everyone! The venues staff and "director"? Rebecca were beyond amazing going to whatever lengths to help make our day so perfect..we can't thank them enough!

We were dealing with Rebecca through everything. She was nothing but a life saver. This venue is breath taking and our true dream come true. We were in love the first time we stepped foot in the door. The food is SO good too. It is a great value for everything you get. I recommend this for anyone who is looking for a dream come true.
