My husband and I were married on January 15, 2022, at the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center. When we were engaged in March of 2021, it was no question on who we were going to as...
k to cater our wedding. We had been fortunate to have previously experienced Twin Oaks Catering in action – other weddings, corporate events, picnics, etc. We knew that we would get the best quality in both food and service at a reasonable cost. Even with our expectations high from previous experience with Twin Oaks, we are delighted with how extraordinary our experience was. The cocktail hour was phenomenal. We elected to have the garden bar as well as a few passed hors d’oeuvres – ‘Italian Sushi’, all day every day, for life, would make us both so happy. We had several guests say they would have been content if the menu for the cocktail was the menu for dinner! As exceptional as the cocktail hour was, the food for dinner was unmatched. We opted to have two seated courses, followed by a buffet. Simply put, everything was delicious. Twin Oaks exceeded our expectations in every way. The food was supreme. The service was outstanding. Mike and Rich are the best duo in the area, bar none! We were happy to pass along Twin Oak’s information to a few of our engaged guests! All the work Twin Oaks did to prepare for our wedding and on our special day made our wedding day perfect. In our experience, there are two things that make a wedding an enjoyable for everyone: the food and the music. We are so grateful we did not have to worry, even for a second, about the food on our wedding day. We will always recommend Twin Oaks to anyone, no matter their type of catering needs, they do it all! Carly & Shawn Dwyer (Wedding @ NBPAC)
Twin Oaks catered our April 2021 wedding and let me tell you they did not disappoint. Our originial caterer went out of business during the pandemic. Our reception was a little dif...
ferent because already had staff we just need a caterer to provide the food. Mike and his team over delivered in every way. Mike and Donna were extremely responsive. And the food... DELICIOUS. Our family and friends have been raving about the food. Thank you Twin Oak's team!!
Twin Oaks catered our wedding on September 30, 2017 at Rutgers Gardens. I can't say enough great things about them! First and foremost, the food was amazing--we had so many guests ...
tell us it was delicious. (We opted for the outdoor BBQ option.) Mike and everyone at the office was so easy to get in touch with and they were very familiar with the Gardens--it was a relief to have real professionals to advise us. Thank you!!
Twin Oak's did an awesome job with every detail for our wedding. Michael coordinated everything and the staff didn't miss a beat the entire night. The staff was really nice and mad...
e sure that we were taken care of. The appetizers were sooo good! We even got to enjoy our food for a few days after with the leftovers which was such a treat.
We hired Mike and his team at Twin Oaks Caterers for our wedding this past August, and they executed the entire event perfectly! Our reception was quite a drive from their office ...
(almost 2 hours away), but they still managed to get everything organized and setup without any issues. The venue we chose, though beautiful, was very bare bones, and literally only came with tables and chairs. There wasn't even any running water onsite. We definitely needed a caterer that was full-service AND could handle an outdoor-ish venue. Twin Oaks had absolutely no problem with any of this and managed to get everything to run smoothly on our big day. The food they served was also amazing! Everyone is still raving at how perfectly the steak was cooked and how delicious in general everything was. One of the major reasons we hired them though was for the outdoor brick oven pizza they offered for cocktail hour. It was a total hit with our guests, and the pizza was awesome! Mike was also extremely responsive to e-mails and just so easy to work with during the planning process. He did our floor plan, timelines, and was basically a second wedding coordinator for us. His staff was also extremely helpful, and when Mike was away the week before our wedding, they didn't miss a beat. I highly recommend Twin Oaks for any wedding or special event and cannot thank them enough for giving us a perfect day!
Food service quantity and quality all 5 stars
Mike & his team made my wedding a day to remember. He worked with me every step of the way to ensure everything we had on the menu reflected the spirit of our wedding. We were marr...
ied in a garden so Mike recommended the Gourmet Grill package. He nailed it! People are still raving about the freshness and deliciousness of the food at our wedding. On top of all of that, Mike went above and beyond to accommodate and bring to life my eclectic vision of my wedding day. His experience proved invaluable. I couldn't praise Twin Oaks enough! Great food & great people!
