We absolutely loved working with Domanic at Twin Oaks!
Domanic and the staff made our wedding day so smooth and we were able to relax and enjoy the day with family and friends.
Twin Oaks went above and beyond to make our day perfect! Every detail was thought out and executed! Our ceremony was outside between two huge Oak trees, and sooo pretty! I had no worries about how the day was going to go. The food was amazing, and the staff was so friendly and accommodating!!
Extremely friendly staff!
The venue and staff at Twin Oaks completely exceeded all of my expectations for my wedding. They made the process of planning so easy and stress free. Dominic and his staff are incredible to say the least. Our guests (even the most picky) could not stop raving about the food that was served. The location is beautiful and the staff made sure everyone was taken care of from the moment they walked through the door. We had our ceremony and reception here and I am so glad we did because it was the time of our lives!
Twin Oaks is the perfect place to host a wedding reception. We had my sister's reception there 9 years ago, and it was where I chose to have mine as well because the staff are so friendly, they do all the set-up and clean up for you...you literally don't have to worry about a thing! Domanic is so helpful and kind, and is very prompt in returning emails/texts with any questions that I had. The food is delicious, guests love the self-serve beer, and they scenery is beautiful. Highly recommend!

Words can't describe but actions do!
Twin Oaks Golf and Plantation Club served as our venue for our daughter Callie and Andrew's Wedding Celebration.
From the moment we first called them until the day after the Wedding when we revisited them, their acceptance, respectability, unrelenting willingness to help (and that's a great thing) performance, and their over and above kindness from all of their staff is something I can't overstate.
Every detail we were concerned about they already had covered. Rosemary was wonderful and she has to have one of the best staffs for conducting an event such as this. I can't remember everyone's name but I do have a few to mention. Kathy was in consent contact with us for coordination of the entire wedding. She is simply amazing to work with. Dom as well went beyond anything I thought he'd ever do, from their every effort to prepare for Callie's outdoor wedding to the end they honored every detail and more for us. From the beginning of discussions until the end they promised us they would make our daughters wedding "special" and they certainly did that. Amy, Bev, Denise, and so many others who I fail to remember were so friendly, and most professional. It totally made the celebration worth every effort.
Not to forget the food and service throughout the night. We initially met the chef in the beginning where he discussed our choices. From the prime rib, baked salmon, and pork tenderloin along with many sides and to the appetizers before. Service was spot on as well. It was truly an unforgettable evening. Bon Appétit !
Many thanks to the staff at Twin Oaks Golf and Plantation Club for the excellent performance in making Callie and Andrew's day such a special one it was!
Best regards,
Paul and Vicki Wilkerson
I was so excited to book at Twin Oaks. The prices were reasonable, and I thought it would be perfect. In the end, the venue was beautiful and our reception was more than perfect. But I did have some issues.
Before we booked, we made sure that we would be able to get pictures on the course the day of, because that was the main reason I wanted to be on a golf course. Dominic was so great, he said that absolutely we could go for pictures the day of and that he would even supply clubs and a cart if we would like them.. They said the close the course early on reception days, so the place would be all ours.
Once we got closer to the wedding, I asked when I can go in and set up. Preferably a day or two before so that everything was ready for our big day. I found out about 2 weeks before hand, that they double booked our day, and that there was a golf outing in the morning with a banquet, so we could not set up in advance. I was not happy about this. I wanted to be there to set everything up, and make sure everything was good to go.
The day of our wedding, we show up to get our pictures, and we find out that the outing has run long, and golfers are still on the course. We spoke with the appropriate people, and they told us we could go anywhere on the course, just be mindful of the golfers. We were fine with that. We were supplied a cart, and made our way out for pictures. On our way out, we were stopped by the starter, who was telling us limited places we were able to go for pictures. And after about a half hour, and him following us around (our photographer had to ask him to move, because he was always following us and getting in the pictures), we hear some employee come over the walkie talkie and say "Who does this bride think she is? Taking over and getting pictures here?". I paid good money to book this reception hall, and one of my stipulations before I booked was that we could take pictures. I was astonished that this was happening on our wedding day. I expected to have the course to ourselves, and be able to take pictures wherever we wanted, because that's what I was told before we booked. I would have booked somewhere else had I known they would double book our day, and give us an extremely hard time while taking pictures. It was very frustrating to have that happen.
A few other little things: I was told the night before that we couldn't use certain candy for our candy bar (gum) because people leave it everywhere. I was also told that there were lights that we could use for the centerpieces (we went buy a month or so before to make a centerpiece with what they provided, and they showed us these lights) but when we were there assembling the centerpieces, no one could find the lights. And lastly, Kathy specifically asked me the night before if we wanted to keep the top of our wedding cake for us, or if it should be cut. We had 4 layers, all different flavors, so I told her they all should be cut. At the end of the night at our reception, they came up and handed me the top of the cake.
Other than that, it is a beautiful venue, and they supplied everything we needed for our centerpieces, the staff was wonderful and the food was phenomenal. The Chef was so nice and Dominic did a great job. It was just a disappointment to have them double book our day with an outing, and really interfere with our pictures.
The staff was amazing. Kathy Sherman was absolutely wonderful. She was always accessible and a fountain of information. She made planning easy. The food was so incredible. My guests also loved the self serve beer taps it helped keep the bar like to a minimum. I got compliments from all my guests, the staff was courteous and professional. I cannot express how amazing my entire experience was. I am so happy I chose Twin Oaks.
Beautiful inside and out and they were oh so helpful with everything!
Twin Oaks was fantastic and above every single expectation I could have ever imagined. I recently had my wedding here and after googling every venue I could, I came across this location. I had never heard of it, but the price was right, so we gave it a shot, and we are SO HAPPY that we did. From the beginning of every email down to the last second of my reception, the staff at Twin Oaks was more than accommodating. Kathy answered every question I had, made suggestions to help make our evening go smoother, and was very prompt in her responses. Every detail was coordinated with Twin Oaks which helped our day go smoothly. There are so many great picture spots: the lake, the fountain, the porch, the golf course, the possibilities are endless and the pictures were amazing! The only downfall (which wasn't a problem in the end) was that we were unable to taste the food before the wedding reception. They have a wide selection of entrees to choose from, but we were unsure what to pick. Let me say that you cannot go wrong with anything you choose.. the food was DELICIOUS! We are still getting compliments on how great the food was. The chef also goes out of his way to get the bride with her plate and helps the mothers, which is just another touch that Twin Oaks does to make you feel welcome.. they even got drinks for my husband and I during dinner! The guests really enjoyed the self serve beer taps and said the drinks at the bar were great. The chef made more appetizers than we were promised, and when our guests arrived early, they let them right in the door. One suggestion: make sure you have good directions for your guests to get to Twin Oaks, as it is off the beaten path a little.. it's a hidden gem!
I can't say enough good things about Twin Oaks and the staff there. They were by far the easiest, friendliest, and most accommodating vendor I worked with during my wedding. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Wonderful wonderful job!
Staff is very accomodating and great to work with! The chef is fantastic and so friendly as well and took my husband and I around and held my plate for me and escorted us. Great indoor and outdoor space!
Twin Oaks Golf Course is the absolute perfect spot for a wedding reception. The venue is beautiful and the layout is ideal for allowing guests to mingle and enjoy themselves. The food is sensational - our guests absolutely raved about it, especially the prime rib! But what really sets Twin Oaks apart is the service: the staff there was wonderful to work with, from start to finish, and especially on the wedding day itself. They took care of everything for us and made the entire planning process very, very enjoyable. I would recommend Twin Oaks to anybody!
Having our reception at Twin Oaks was probably the easiest part of our wedding. Twin Oaks was extremely accommodating. You can't beat their prices and the value for what you pay is great. The food was delicious. The staff was extremely helpful - they helped us carry in/out center pieces, loaded up our cars with wedding presents, etc. We have had an overwhelming amount of compliments on how wonderful our reception was!
This was the best venue! It is on a golf course, has the food buffet seperate from the actual reception room and also has self serve beer and pop!
