They were wonderful! Affordable, able to customize your entire menu, a delicious tasting, and open communication! Such a great experience. My guests are still raving about the food!
Two Chicks and a Pot were incredibly professional and also very friendly when it came to catering our wedding. I always felt comfortable reaching out with any questions I had and they always responded pretty much right away! In regards to the food - it was delicious. We did appetizers, the main course, and late night snacks (all served right on time) and by the end of the night there wasn't any food left. We had so many great comments from our guests about how yummy everything was! 100% recommend using Two Chicks!!
We used this vendor for our son and daughter in law’s wedding on Oct 16 at the Blueberry Farm. We enjoyed the tastings very much, they agreed to two of them. We were so disappointed in the appetizers and the service. We picked pretzel nuggets and waffles with chicken. The cheese served with the pretzels at the wedding was cold and never heated. The servers were never around to serve the chicken and waffles, i finally, as the mother in law and one paying for the food, went into the kitchen and told servers they need to get out there and serve, they were all standing around in the kitchen. I only saw them one more time after they were told. (I know the bride and myself only got one helping, this was not acceptable). There were no leftovers given to us and im sure there had to be some. The German meal was very good that we chose for the meal. We knew of about 10 people who did not show for the reception and we had plenty of that food packed up for us. I thank them for cutting the cake even though it was not given to us at end of night along with the other food, do not know what happened to it.
The food at the tasting was very good and they were very good at communication leading up to the wedding. The day of the appetizers were cold and some of them took a long time to come out. The people taking the food around only came to find my husband and I once. The only reason I was able to have more than one thing is because my maid of honor was sure to make a plate for me. Dinner was great it was everything we wanted. The only problem we had was there was supposed to be a champagne toast for everyone at their tables and it was not set up for anyone. My husband and I only got our champagne when it came time for toasts and no one else received any. We also hired a bartender through them and the bartender admitted to one of our bridesmaids that she didn’t know how to open the bottles of champagne. Overall the food was great and they boxed everything up for us. They even cut the cake for us and put it out for guests.
This company started out wonderful to work, had raving reviews, and after having a lovely tasting last December, signing a contract and giving a deposit, we believe that they have since gone out of business without reaching out to us. They stopped responding to all correspondence (phone, email, text, website appointment system) and, from what I've read in 3 other customer reviews, they have been also ghosting other customers since possibly as far back as March 2022. Do not waste your time here! We are left less than 90 days from our wedding with no caterer. Just so disappointed.
I wish our experience was positive, but it was absolutely not! We set up a tasting, got two confirmations, and then drove 100 miles to the Rockledge location for no one to be there.
We called all the numbers available and got sent directly to voicemail. We finally got a text back from Rachel to say she’s out of town and Beth will handle it. Never heard from her.
Texted back and fourth with Rachel and then she just stopped. No apology, nothing.
So to recap we drove 100 miles, each way, to get ghosted. Still no response or apology. I should have checked yelp because the same thing happened 3 weeks ago too.
I support small business, but this was truly incompetent, unprofessional, and unapologetic.
If you use them, good luck and I hope they show up at all.
I welcome any response from their company to say if anything I have said is incorrect.
Rachel was great to work with :) Very professional, wonderful quality of food--all the way from our tasting up to the event date. So happy Two Chicks was a part of our big day!
We used Two Chicks and a Pot for our wedding and they were mostly really good. The appetizers (bacon wrapped shrimp skewers with lime and Buffalo chicken sliders with ranch) were a huge hit. The entree, bourbon beef tips were amazing but we got a lot of complaints about the chicken the two chicks way. The cream sauce was definitely a cream for the tasting and was very watery for the actual wedding. We had a plated dinner and the staff was very friendly. As for the vegetarian meal, it was a huge disappointment. The vegetarian meal was the same price as the beef/chicken option and it was chickpeas over rice when serving the green beans and mashed potatoes would have been better. Overall, good food and fairly priced.
The food was absolutely amazing! We got so many compliments on the garlic beef tips. The communication could of been better but we understand it is a very busy time for wedding vendors, especially near the holidays.
Phenomenal Service and Food! Best caterers around they truly care about the little details they took care of our wedding from start to finish! The food was off the charts everyone constantly complimented how amazing our food was at our wedding and the level of service their staff gave to our guest and ourselves at the wedding was so appreciated! Thank you!
Overall, I can say that our service was great, most of the food was excellent, and our guests were happy. However, knowing what we had ordered, we are disappointed with what we received from Two Chicks and a Pot. First, we had ordered 15 extra meals for our guests. We were expecting about 70 people (it ended up being less) and we ordered 85 servings. My husband and I did not receive any of the appetizers at our wedding because they were all gone. This was something we were especially disappointed about. We also ordered a fruit and cheese platter for cocktail hour and what we received was mounds of cheese spread on a platter. By the time we got up to cocktail hour, there were no crackers or fruit being replaced and there was still 30 minutes left. Moving on to the bartender. We had specifically asked multiple times that no tip jar would be placed at the bar. We were going to tip the bartender ourselves. My mother had to ask our bartender multiple times to remove his venmo sign from the bar. He also did not use the wine glasses that we had asked for and instead used the cups that we purchased for our signature drink. Once we mentioned this to our coordinator, he switched to the wine glasses.
For our dinner buffet, we selected three meals. Two of the three dishes were wonderful, and we have no complaints. The third meal was supposed to be a roasted chicken and what we were given was a dry, baked chicken with a sauce on it. We also had asked to add on a challah for Jewish traditions in our wedding. They replaced our dinner rolls with a small challah that could not feed 85 people, so we had no rolls with our meal even though they were part of the package. Finally, we ordered a late-night pretzel bar. First, the display was off to the side of the room and none of our guests knew it was there. Second, it did not look like there were enough pretzels to feed all of our guests. Other than those things, dinner was excellent and we had guests going back for seconds. Again, most of these issues are things that only we would notice, but they were significant issues for us. Unfortunately, this meal overall just did not meet all our expectations.
From the first day we met with Jessica, we knew we wanted to book Two Chicks and a Pot!
Catering was one of the factors that stressed me out the most. I am vegan and the rest of my family is not. Jessica was so accommodating and laid out all the different options we could do!! They had so many options and nothing was off limits! The initial tasting went so well, we immediately booked them and we never worried about anything after that!! Jessica was so friendly and helped us pick the best menu, and we ended up doing a Buffett with vegan pastas so it was still something everyone liked! They arrived and set up so quickly the day of and their servers and bartenders were amazing. Everything went so seamlessly and the night was perfect!! I would highly reccomend them to anyone looking!!!
Jessica and the rest of the Two Chicks and a Pot team provided such amazing service and very tasty food during our wedding! We were beyond impressed with how detail oriented the entire team was!
From the first few emails to our tasting and follow up sessions as we got closer to the big day, Jessica and team were incredibly detail oriented and answered all our questions in a timely manner.
On the big day, the plate presentation was stunning, and we heard nothing but great praise from our guests on how Jessica and team interacted with them during the cocktail hour and dinner times.
My wife and I were also very happy that Jessica and team packaged some food for us, even though we weren't able to eat during the wedding, we actually stuffed our faces afterwards and enjoyed certainly every bite!
I'd like to also commend Jessica and team on the speedy teardown afterwards, we didn't even notice they were moving around and our family members were very happy Jessica and team all knew exactly what to do and when to do it.
I can't say enough about Two Chicks and a Pot, and the stunning service they provided during our special day.
We highly recommend their services!
Truly professional, amazing food, quality service. Highly recommend
We originally loved the food when we attended the catering tasting, but the food was not as good for the wedding as before. It was still good, but we were blown away by the food the first time, and were less impressed at the wedding. I also had sent a timeline of when everything would happen for the caterers to attend to, yet they were not on top of it as I expected. However, I will praise them for the cocktail hour where they brought around appetizers for people while they mingled. Overall, they are a great service, I only wish the food was as good at the wedding as it was at the tasting.
We are so happy we chose Two Chicks! We had our first tasting about a year before the wedding and fell in love with the food and loved how nice everyone there is! I was a little nervous as the date got closer because I read some of these reviews, but from start to finish two chicks was some of the best food and service that I've ever had! We had the stuffed mushrooms for our appetizer and O. M. G. they were the best appetizer I've ever had! My guests loved them and southwest spring rolls! I also liked that I could have the option for both meat and vegetarian for the main course. I also had two vegan guests and two chicks was able to accommodate them with a special vegan meal. Our guests told us how good the food is and we got to have some leftover boxes to take home. Truly an amazing team that always kept me updated and were available for questions over email or phone. I can not recommend them enough as a caterer for your wedding! The serving staff and the bartender were super nice and friendly too. Thank you Akili and Beth!
All of my guests raved at how good the food was. Nicole was always super prompt at getting back to me whenever I had a question. So easy and fun to work with.
Two Chicks And A Pot catered my wedding and I cannot sing enough praises to do them justice. The initial tasting was fantastic, and the chef was understanding of our request to omit certain ingredients for our guest with allergies and diet restrictions. Not only was the food heavenly, but the staff went above and beyond for the reception. The service was spectacular. Thank y'all so much!
So frustrated with them. We attended our tasting and we were blown away. We hired them and spent over $3k on catering. Afterwards I read reviews here saying how they impress you at the tasting and come to the wedding, they don’t deliver. I hoped it would be different for us but unfortunates ately that’s exavtly how it was. I asked them for bacon wrapped meatloaf stuffed with mozzarella. They told me it would be individual meatloaves. What we got was thin sliced gross meat that was nothing like what we had at the tasting. It resembled dog food. And it wa so thin you couldn’t notice any bacon. There was no mozzarella stuffed inside. They told us it melted inside but it was a solid slice of meatloaf so I’m not sure how I would have missed it. The pork they served was good but the passed apps were cold. The mashed potatoes and broccoli were flavorless and gross even though I asked for garlic butter you couldn’t taste it at all. The broccoli was also mostly stems with very few florets. I was honestly embarrassed by the food. My husbands uncle afterwords said the food sucked. If there was one thing I’d change about my whole wedding it would be the food. And the guys who served it were really weird and they said my top tier of cake fell apart and they had to serve it instead of saving it for us which I have a hard time believing.
I had high hopes for Two Chicks, but was ultimately unimpressed with them. We hired Two Chicks to cater our 85 guest wedding reception. Our engagement period was exactly two years, and hiring a great caterer was our first priority. Our initial meeting and tasting went well, and we booke Two Chicks a full 20 months before the wedding. During that time communication was difficult- as the rep we originally booked with no longer worked there, and all the emails I was sending were not being read. We wanted to drastically change the menu; and add a vegan option for myself, the bride, that had been served at our tasting. I got the brush off until two weeks before the wedding when they “customarily” confirmed the menu.
The food itself was bland and totally forgettable, and the vegan dish that I fell in love with at the tasting was nowhere near what was served at our wedding. Instead of a black bean Shepard’s pie, which is what was ordered, it was a spicy black bean medley. Nowhere near the same flavor profile that I was expecting.
Taste aside, the worst part was how controlling the serving staff was with portions. We had a long reception and repeatedly stressed that we wanted an abundance of food available to our guests. Instead of abundance our guests had to plead for a second tiny scoop of mashed potatoes. ((Which after dinner I saw chafing dishes full of mashed potatoes, the leftovers of which we never saw- nor did we receive the honeymoon box of leftovers we were promised as well)).
We attempted to book two bartenders for the evening, but Two Chicks talked us into settling for only one. Try as he might, the solo bartender was overwhelmed during cocktail hour, and guests stood in line for a drink for 20mins.
Technically, they served food, and drinks, and they seemed to try really hard; but I feel like we paid top dollar for “eh” food, and no that much of it.
Great food! SO glad we went with Two Chicks after meeting them at a local wedding show. They have multiple locations for tastings and are willing to travel. Only complaint: the food was not as warm as I had hoped the day of the wedding, but the taste was spot on!
We really wanted to love Two Chicks and a Pot, but unfortunately we were overall disappointed from our very first tasting. My husband and I selected what we wanted to taste directly from their website because the rep we were working with didn't tell us we could pretty much ask for anything we wanted. Since I wanted to enjoy a gourmet, vegan meal on my wedding night, I was so happy to see that they had vegan options! We selected a few to try, but when we got to the tasting we were told the ingredients were not available and therefore they didn't make any of the vegan dishes. It was so disappointing. Fortunately, one of the lead chefs came out to talk to us and realized the rep we spoke with had kind of fallen short on the job - this person doesn't work there any more. The chef explained to us that we didn't have to pick from the dishes on their website, and that we could dream up any dishes we wished and that they could make them. Then she told us she would love to do a second tasting, and we were super excited and full of renewed hope! The second tasting was a world of difference compared to the first one, everything was delicious and on point. We booked with them and set our menu. Fast forward to the wedding, and my husband and I were really disappointed with the food because they ended up serving a couple of different items from what we ordered, specifically, one of the appetizers and the vegan entree. The vegan dish was especially disappointing because A) they did not use the vegetables we agreed on and B) it had none of the flavor it had during the tasting. It was basically just bland. And they also forgot to fill our champagne glasses (we had purchased one bottle only, specifically for the champagne toast) so we had to toast with our wine and bourbon. I am happy that so many other people have had better experiences with Two Chicks than we did, but unfortunately they left a lot to be desired for us.
Two Chicks had incredible food for our wedding! My wedding was an outdoor wedding and it rained the day of yet they were able to make adjustments quickly to accommodate the rain. Overall they did a wonderful job and could not give them more praise!
From start to finish we were very impressed with the professionalism of Two Chicks. They gave us a wide selection of entrees and sides to sample at our consultation which were delicious. They were also very accommodating when my wedding had to be rescheduled due to hurricane Irma. The day of the wedding went very smoothly and my guests seemed to enjoy their food. We even had 6-8 boxes of food leftover that we got to take home and eat for a week. Thank you Jessica and everyone at Two Chicks and a Pot!!!
Such amazing food it was hard to narrow it down to a few choices for our wedding. The service was excellent and would use them again. Quality fresh ingredients and the owner is super sweet.
From beginning to end, Two Chicks and a Pot was so easy to work with, provided excellent input, and did a phenomenal job. My wedding night went by so quickly that I wish I had had a chance to say thank you in person, but the food turned out great. We wanted to do a number of different stations with all of our favorite foods, from tacos to pizza to charcuterie, and they were very accommodating. At our tasting, we were expecting a small bite of each offering, but we were served full portions for all of us! It was amazing. We were so impressed by all of the things that she made from scratch, her pizza sauce, her cheese dips, bruschetta, spinach dip, all of it was so tasty and I was excited to debut it at the wedding. Our final meeting before the wedding proved very helpful because Nicole helped us come up with a signature drink and also gave us many other tips and made sure all the details were worked out. Finally on the day of the wedding, the food turned out great. They carefully labeled foods for V and GF and they also packed up everything in togo containers at the end of the night. We instantly had lunch ready for the next day. Our experience was stellar with Two Chicks and a Pot and I would highly recommend them.
We haven't even had our wedding yet, but after meeting with Nicole, we decided to use Two Chicks for our engagement party as well. We had such a wonderful time. The food was great! The casual stations we just what we were looking for. Our guests are still raving! You can't go wrong if you are looking for a company to follow your inspiration and get it better than you ever thought possible!
We attended a wedding which Two Chicks catered, they did such a nice job we knew we had to call them for ours. We had a blast picking our menu (although it was not easy since we loved everything we tried). As the wedding got closer my stress levels grew but after talking over the details with Nicole I could finally relax a bit. The day of our wedding we did not have to worry. The staff was so friendly. They even packed a box for my husband and I to enjoy later that night.
I will definitely call Two Chicks for any event I have!
Love these ladies! They have been a joy to work with. They really enjoy what they do and we loved that they really have worked with us to make our big day so special. All the food we tried was really delicious, which made it very hard to pick out our favs! I would pick these ladies for any type of occasion that requires a caterer!
YUM! These ladies have got this catering thing locked down. Our food was spectacular. Planning the meal for our wedding was actually tons of fun. I asked for a couple of items that were not on their menu and it was an instant "yes". They whipped them up for our tasting like it had been on the menu for years! We did not have a single issue with Two Chicks through out the entire planning process or our event. I highly recommend them for any type of event you may be planning!
Two chicks were wonderful to work up to create our wedding menu. I was impressed with their farm to table approach and open ideas. We chose a southern style BBQ for our wedding day. The BBQ brisket, turkey carving station and creamed corn were delicious! Every guest said how moist and delicious the turkey was! My husband created his own appetizer a meatloaf slider with mashed potatoes and it was perfect! My husband, me and our guests loved the food and I loved working with them and their creativity.
We chose Two Chicks based on other reviews and after our first conversation with Nikki, talking about menu options and possibilities. We are so glad we went with them:
-The dinner buffet was great and we received a lot of compliments on the food. The servers also packed us 2 complete dinner to-go boxes that my new husband and I could eat later :)
-They were easy to work with leading up to the wedding. I was planning long distance, and they let my brother and his wife do a free tasting in my place.
-On the day of, the servers ended up stepping in to help my mom who was running around crazy, trying to set up our drinks table, find the plates, etc. My mom told me later that they saved her butt multiple times before dinner :)
I am a huge foodie and love to cook, so naturally, the caterer was at the top of my list for what I wanted to be stellar for our big day. I really wanted to go with a smaller company so that I could create the menu that I wanted. Each food item I chose was meaningful to us as a couple and this process was very fun.
So, I will start with the positives. During our tasting, the chef, Beth, was very sweet and open to our vision. Both ladies were very vocal about being able to accomodate our vision. The food was very yummy too (at the tasting). Our venue was to be outside, but the ladies said they were confident they could serve an outdoor wedding, as they had done "many before".
On our big day we were surprised to find out that neither of the "two chicks" was there, but instead a third party team was hired to serve our wedding. This is where it all began to go downhill. The wait staff was rude, disorganized, and unprofessional. They were smoking on our property in front of guests (the reception was in a tent at my parents' house) and guests were complaining. They dropped silverware and told guests, "oh well, use the other fork," instead of going to get another. One of my guests asked for another appetizer at the cocktail hour and the waitress told her, "you have already had one" and refused to give her another! So rude! The food was cold. The meal looked nothing like what we had discussed. I will say, that the appetizers during cocktail hour were good, but the main course was cold and unimpressive. The worst though, was our "late night snack". We had wanted soft pretzel skewers with dipping sauces to be served about an hour before our reception was to end and what was brought out was terrible. In my 29 years, I have NEVER, EVER sent back a meal at a restaurant, but after tasting the COLD, DOUGHY, "pretzels", I immediately had our wedding coordinator ask that they be taken away. It was so embarrassing. Guests were spitting them out! I had to apologize profusely to them. They were inedible. The grooms cake was never cut, even though I asked them to...so my husband and I were left with a $200 cake to eat by ourselves.
THEN, the wait staff tried to leave without cleaning or bussing the tables AT ALL. They only came back when our coordinator asked them to. To top it all off, the microwave in the prep area where they were working was broken after the reception (it worked perfectly before the wedding), so even though I can't prove it, I believe they broke the microwave.
My mother emailed Two Chicks to try to communicate with them our concerns, but after two weeks, we still haven't gotten so much as a response.
I am so disappointed in how things went down. I was so excited to work with them, but regardless, our wedding was beautiful and our guests had fun! I would recommend any of our other vendors, but definitely not these "chicks".
What an amazing job and team!!!! Thank you so much being apart of our wedding. Everyone enjoyed the entire menu!!! Couldn't ask for a better cater for a wedding!!! <3
Two Chicks and a Pot catered for my sons wedding, and the food was so delicious! Beth worked with the kids to pick the perfect menu, she was very helpful and knowledgeable in picking the right food for the guests. Her crew was very nice and efficient. We cant thank them enough for making this day so nice for us.
Our non-profit organization has used Two Chicks and a Pot multiple times and they have always done a wonderful job. We have used them for business lunches for fifteen as well as for festive occasions for hundred. Two Chicks has provided all the supplies we need whether it’s just the menu or all the linens and tableware in addition to the menu. They have great style to fit any occasion. We highly recommend Two Chicks and a Pot.
I have had an opportunity to use the catering services of Two Chicks and a Pot several
times in the last couple of years. Their services have exceeded my expectations in every
case demonstrating the highest standards in service and professionalism. They provide
ample serving portions, which have fed large groups easily along with being very tasty.
From a man's perspective this is very important. I would not hesitate to use Two Chicks
again, knowing that they are dependable and provide quality food and service every time.
Two Chicks and a Pot have it all: great food, great service, and great ideas. We have always found them to be businesslike yet pleasant to work with: they are receptive to our ideas and have given excellent suggestions to make our special occasions run more smoothly. Two Chicks offers creative and tasty culinary options (they even make the 'down home' meal special!) along with attractive serving areas and unobtrusive and attentive staff. Clearly experience matters, and it makes Two Chicks a reliable and trustworthy choice for all our catering needs. Two Chicks and a Pot really are "simply the best"!!
We had a wonderful experience with two chicks! Food was delicious and staff was awesome. The communication between us, Beth, and Nikki was quick and very flexible. Especially when we had family cancel last minute two chicks adjusted costs for us :)
The staff even helped with grabbing the attention of one of my bridesmaids to bustle me. I'd recommend them to any of my friends and family, so so happy with everything!
Two Chicks was a blessing from the beginning. They really understood and envisioned the concept and feel that I wanted for our big day! The food was FANTASTIC and a huge hit with my friends and family. We were so happy about the Honeymoon Box you left for us too! You are too sweet!! Thank you Beth and staff for your excellent service! <3 Robin and Joshua (and Charlie too!)
When the wedding plans begun, we made the decision to use local vendors. This is how we found Two Chicks and a Pot. We met with them to share what we had envisioned and their passion to make our special day “unique to us” was contagious. They do not use processed or pre-made foods. With their classic old school approach, everything is made from scratch with all natural ingredients and when they can, they use local producers and organic items. We knew within the first five minutes, they were the caterer for our wedding! From table settings to servers to the absolutely amazing food their attention to detail and professionalism literally made this the only item on our list we didn’t stress about. At our reception, every guest raved about the food and half of them were in the restaurant biz! I would highly recommend them for your next affair. Two thumbs way up for Two Chicks!
2 chicks did a great job at our wedding! We are foodies and wanted lots of yummy food. They delivered everything on time and beautifully. I also had them on a time crunch and you couldn't tell at all. We love them and couldn't say enough good things about them.
We lost our original caterer almost at the last minute and I was at a loss. Then I remembered attending a wedding where Two Chicks and a Pot had done a sit down dinner. The food was very good so I gave them a call. Lucky for us, they were available. We only did heavy finger foods, but everything we chose was delicious. I gave them a head count of 80, but we had people show up who had not RSVP. I didn't have to worry, they made it last and everyone had plenty and loved the choices. They were very organized and courteous. Should I need a caterer again, they will be the first I call.
I was more than happy with Two Chicks and a Pot. I checked out other vendors in the area and they were either too expensive, or super unprofessional. Two Chicks will work with your budget, provide excellent food even on a small budget, and not nickle and dime you for any extras. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer in the Melbourne, FL area.
When my groom & I started planning our wedding one the very first thing we wanted to chose was the food. We did not want the run of the mill wedding food, its always so boring and predictable. After some research I found Two Chicks and a Pot. Their sample menu had us salivating wishing they ran a restaurant! After a tasting we booked their services. Our family & friends know we like to eat and eat good food so we couldn't disappoint with our wedding food. We hyped it up for months. The day of the wedding I remember walking into the venue and the smell of brisket made me hungry. Its all I could think about, how soon until dinner?! They did an excellent job with dinner service, the food was delicious. I highly recommend Two Chicks for any event. Creative, delicious, fresh! Thank you Beth & her staff!!
The food was good however the lack of supervision with the staff lead to some issues that could have been avoided. Items were lost (ie. cake topper and heirloom cake knife) details were not adhered to(ie. vegan bride was served a meat dish) with slow response from the management and no apologies. The gratuity was included in the final payment before the event and should be held until after as to be deserving not just paid. I think they have grown past weddings and onto conventions and such. Would not recommend.
Two chicks and a Pot was absolutely amazing. The service was wonderful and the food was so delicious. We couldn't have asked for a better catering company!!
I had looked at several different Caterers but had decided to choose Two Chicks. When we had our taste testing they had told us that the beef carving station would be much better then what we were tasting because they cook a whole roast at once.
For the day of the wedding we had two servers that were helping out and Beth did not show up until 5:00 PM. Somehow the Servers decided to start the dinner early (no one in my wedding party requested that they start services early) so Beth was not there to cut the meat. The meat was very rare and the sauces that we had asked for were not there to be served and it was not under any lamp or light to keep it warm at all. The drink service that I paid extra for was never refilled because Peter the server was too busy packing up that he didn't feel like refilling it. For the toast they poured the champagne to a 16 year old and the plates were not picked up off the tables (my sweetheart table my maid of honor cleared off because they never even recognized that we were sitting there). For the cake cutting my maid of honor had informed them that were going to be cutting the cake... however, 10 minutes after we cut it there was still no one out there. I (as the bride) had to go out and tell the server (Peter) that the cake was ready to be cut and he said that Beth does the cutting and she was busy at the moment. On top of everything else Peter pulled my maid of honor into the kitchen right after dinner was served, pulled my invoice out and said "the tip was not pre-paid so where is the tip" She said that she was not sure what was going on with the tip, he was very pushy and said that they were looking for the tip (she was not aware that I was going to be paying by card to the office after the service) She then had to get my father-in-law to go to the bank (mind you this is during the reception) to go get a tip because he would not leave them alone.
I have spoken with Beth about all my concerns and she has made things right in regards to the drink station and the tip money, however her response to the beef and the dressings were that we requested the service early and that they did their best to get the service out... even though no one asked for it early. To me it seemed like they wanted to get in and out and didn't want to actually stay for the full service like they were supposed to. If you go with Two chicks, please don't let peter bully your bridal party, and I highly suggest you do not get the carving stating, it sounds neat but is not worth it at all. On top of everything the food is supposed to be left however none of the beef was left for us at all.
We had a very eclectic menu, due to the food allergies and special needs in our family. Not to mention our eclectic group of friends. Every pallet was pleasantly pleased, including the mother of the groom, a tongue cancer survivor.
Her needs were completely met with compassion, care and healthy food. Even our pickiest eaters cleaned there plates. I have had many wedding dinners and was very selective in my choice. Two Chicks and a Pot not only exceeded our expectations, but blew us away.
We were looking for some awesome barbeque style catering and were so delighted when we found out that Two Chicks and a Pot could do barbeque and work with our budget. They were absolutely amazing to work with and its so nice to hear our guest say that our wedding food was the best wedding food they had ever had.
One of the first things my now-husband and I decided about in our wedding planning was we did NOT want to have wedding food. You know what I'm talking about: chicken vs. fish, dried out meat, frozen-tasting vegetables and brown/serve rolls. Two Chicks is NOT that caterer so if you're in the same boat, look no further. We were on a budget - our destination wedding for 92 cost us around $11K total - and Two Chicks was amazing about helping us come up with a menu that was totally us that also met our budget. Beyond cost to value, which I dare say they are unbeatable in this industry in regard to, they are also incredibly nice and knowledgeable. They saved us money in many other areas of our planning by giving us advice about a variety of things. And the food? AMAZING. Our out-of-state guests were blown away by their shrimp and grits! Alongside the high-quality food and service of Two Chicks and a Pot, Two Chicks Plan a Party was indispensable for day-of coordination. Our wedding had so many moving parts and was off-beat in the sense that we had our ceremony and reception at a state park in the middle of the woods in a small town. Rachel was not only happy to travel but also put out fires all day long, with a smile. She was there for me for everything for which I am eternally grateful. When I look back on our wedding day I know it wouldn't have been anywhere near what is was without Two Chicks. I can honestly say it was a PERFECT day and I owe them so much of that. Upon leaving our reception, Rachel and Beth included a to-go meal from the wedding that we enjoyed, along with some wedding cake, as a midnight snack and breakfast the next morning. Those kind of small touches may not be on the top of your list when you're shopping for caterers but I can say, 100%, they are what matter when you look back. Choosing a caterer/coordinator who really care about you makes all the difference in the world.
Rachel and Beth at Two Chicks and a Pot provided a delicious meal with fabulous presentation. They were excellent with communication and quality of service. I have already recommended them to several other brides.
Two Chicks and a Pot were great to work with!! When planning my wedding menu Rachel had some great ideas and truly cared about meeting my vision for my wedding buffett. I also love that they have a personal interest in food quality by using some local and organic ingredients. The day of the wedding Beth and the staff set up, served and cleaned up without incident. They were super friendly to the guests and the food was wonderful! I have received several comments from guests about the shrimp and grits and antipasto appetizers. They also supplied a bartender who did a great job! Overall, I would definitly recommend using Two Chicks for your wedding or event.
I used them for my wedding and everyone told me how it was the best wedding food they ever had. Nice and easy to work with.
Although my wedding hasn't taken place yet, I wanted to write this review to show how pleased I am in choosing Two Chicks And A Pot as my Caterers! So far, every experience I've had with them from the initial meeting, to the tasting and every dumb question I've had in between has been nothing short of wonderful. Beth and Rachel are genuine people with excellent customer service who also happen to make amazing food! I can't wait for my big day so my family and friends can find out what I already know!
Beth was absolutely amazing! Not only was the food incredible (best alfredo I've had), but the set up of our buffet station and the tables were beautiful! She made my vision completely come true for my wedding. The price was so reasonable, but worth a million! All the workers were so efficient and never stopped for a second. My guests were completely wowed. It was so easy to get ahold of Beth and she worked with whatever I wanted. I would reccomend Two Chicks and A Pot to everyone!! Thanks so much for exceeding all my expectations for my wedding day!!
The food was amazing and delicious. Out of all the caterers we tried, they had the best food by far. The prices were very reasonable ($19 for two butlered appetizers, salad, bread, a vegetable, a potato, a pasta station with three sauces, and a carving station with roast beef. This also included linens, real plates and glasses, set-up, clean-up,serving the champagne that we bought, and cutting our cake that we did with a different vendor. The guests loved the food as did we. Beth and Cynthia are very helpful. For instance, my husband wanted floor length tablecloths even though they only had mid-length ones and they went and purchased some. However, we had a couple things that didn't work out so well.... the first was we were considering doing our cake with them. They gave us a quote and told us no worries about time. However, when I called them to set up the details Cynthia quoted us almost double our original quote and said we needed to get the details to her by the end of the week. At the actual wedding, instead of having two stations (each with a double line) as we had in our contract, they only set up a single line even though the tables for them were in correct position. This ended up making our food line take twice as long and a lot of guests complained about the wait. When I asked her at the end of the night, she apologized and said she forgot. In addition, the potatoes had carmelized onions mixed in (I had asked for them to be on top because I knew some people don't like them) and the vegetables were bland and steamed instead of roasted as we had discussed. The final issue we had is that we had asked for all the leftovers that we paid for to be boxed so we could take it home since we had a lot of family in town. That night, the people cleaning up saw the food being put into the caterers vans and asked about it. The people packing the food up dodged. When I called the caterer the next day, she said that her people had been told that no one wanted the food. She dropped some food off but it was maybe a fraction of what had been left over. Overall, the food was great and the guests were happy.... my husband and I were just disappointed because we knew how it was supposed to be.
I can't say this enough. Just amazing. The food was delicious, creative, fresh, local, organic, and did I mention amazing! My husband and I are vegetarians and chose only a vegetarian menu. The funny part is that we had to tell our guest this part. The food was so yummy and creative, nobody even noticed there was no meat. Beth and her staff provided a great friendly and professional "turn key" service. Presentation was beautiful. I will continue to recommend her to anyone and everyone that will listen. Oh, and all this on a very friendly budget.
This food is amazing and reasonably priced! I met with Beth several times before the wedding. I tasted her incredible food with her fresh ingredients and innovative meal ideas at several wedding shows. She invited my family for a tasting. We e-mailed back and forth about the menu and ideas. She changed ingredients to keep me inside my budget. I would recommend her to anyone. She was so kind and really understood how to make it my special day. She never pressured me and took care of all the details. She even met me at the reception hall the week before the wedding to review the game plan. I never expected such service and help with great food at an excellent price.
I was nervous when we kept meeting without nailing down a price because I had other caterers that met with me and then backed out of things we had discussed. She really took the time to find out what I wanted and needed and came up with a budget that worked for me.
Beth was a huge part of my favorite day! Everyone said I wouldn't eat at my wedding, but I was determined to prove everyone wrong. I even got some leftovers of my favorite dish. All my relatives mentioned the food when they talk about our special day.
The food was delicous and Beth the owner is just the sweetest woman, great to work with. I met quite a few caterers and went to a few tastings but nothing really clicked with me. Then I met Beth and instantly took to her personality, once we started talking about menu options and styling I realized she was on the exact same page and would do anything I wanted, within reason of course, to make it happen. In regards to service, she was working with a new team and you could tell they weren't on top of things at all times but she had a great handle on everythign and my wedding was amazing. People are still talking about the pot roast and the pulled pork slider appetizers!
