We could not recommend Alison, Jonathan, and the entire TKE team more!
Despite my working crazy hours and getting engaged just one year before the wedding, they made the wedding o...
f my dreams come true. Alison and Jonathan took what could have been an overwhelming planning process and made it feel manageable, narrowing vendor choices to only those that were reliable and fit my budget and style. They kept us organized and on track throughout the year, so I always knew what needed to happen next without having to manage the details myself.
They also made us feel really comfortable - they appreciate what an important, intimate day this is and that every couple and family is different, and they never wanted to change my vision or plan simply because it wasn’t the easiest option.
During the wedding weekend, Jonathan, Alison, and their team were amazing. They had everything handled - every time I thought to check on something, it had already been dealt with! Because of them, my husband, our families, and I were able to be guests enjoying the event rather than hosts.
We truly could not have asked for better wedding planners than Alison and Jonathan. From the very beginning, they were so easy to work with, incredibly organized, responsive, level...
-headed, and calm. That is exactly the energy you want from your wedding planners, especially when things inevitably get a little stressful!
The biggest testament to how amazing they are was the week of our wedding, when the forecast could not seem to make up its mind and we were preparing for the possibility of completely changing our plans because of rain. Alison and Jonathan gave us multiple options, helped us think through every scenario, and even pushed our vendors to give us more time to make decisions so we could wait and see what the weather would actually do. We never felt pressured or panicked because we knew they had everything under control.
And on the actual wedding weekend, they were truly 10 steps ahead at all times. Every question I asked was either already taken care of or they immediately had an answer. We were able to completely enjoy our wedding and be present with our family and friends because we knew everything was in their hands.
They also have an amazing list of vendor recommendations. We genuinely loved every vendor we worked with, and having their guidance and experience when making those decisions made the entire planning process so much easier.
They also brought such an amazing energy to the entire weekend. My bridesmaids were obsessed with them.
Bonus points if you are getting married at Valley Rock Inn because Alison and Jonathan are truly the experts. Their experience with the property, vendors, logistics, and all of the little details that make a Valley Rock wedding unique is unmatched.
They took our vision and brought it to life in a way that was even more beautiful than we could have imagined. We will forever be grateful that we got to work with them and cannot recommend them enough. ❤️
We cannot recommend Two Kindred Event Planners highly enough! Alison and Jonathan were absolutely incredible throughout the planning of our August 2026 wedding and made the entire ...
experience feel seamless and stress-free.
Their vendor recommendations were tailored to our preferences, and they helped us build an amazing team that perfectly fit our vision. They were incredibly organized, responsive, and detail-oriented throughout the entire process, always anticipating what needed to happen next.
On our wedding day, they were truly invaluable. They coordinated every vendor, kept everything running on schedule, and handled all the behind-the-scenes details so we could simply enjoy every moment with our family and friends.
We don’t know what we would have done without them! Hiring Two Kindred was one of the best decisions we made, and we would recommend them to anyone planning a wedding!
Working with Alison and Jonathan was truly the best experience as they are the best people and planners!!
Our wedding weekend was the most incredible weekend of our entire lives ...
and exceeded any possible expectation or dream we could have ever had, and that is all due to their extremely hard work and expertise on all things weddings and events. Not only was the weekend perfect, but working with them from the very start - picking our venue and getting the ball rolling - was exactly what someone would want in a planning process. Alison and Jonathan made every decision feel easy, organized, and well thought out, and for people like us who are not always the best with these things, we felt like we couldn’t have been in better hands.
Every problem that arose, it always felt like it was all of us vs. the problem - we were on the same team. Alison and Jonathan always felt so extremely trustworthy- everything they said or did was absolutely spot on and it was truly so impressive. It’s rare in life to be able to work with people who are so skilled at what they do and it’s a breath of fresh air to be able to say we did! Hoping we have another event in the future to plan with them soon!!
Working with Alison and Jonathan was one of the very best decisions we made for our wedding. From start to finish, they made the entire planning process organized, calm, and truly ...
enjoyable. From our very first meeting, it was clear they bring a rare level of expertise from multiple sides of the industry and really know their stuff. Their top priority was helping us achieve our vision without ever being pushed outside of our comfort zone each step of the way.
Their approach is incredibly thoughtful and personalized. They tackle each vendor individually, structuring the process based on your preferences, which transformed what can often feel like an overwhelming and scattered experience into something focused, streamlined, and completely tailored to us. They came to every vendor conversation with a detailed recommendation, answered countless questions we didn’t even know we had yet, and whenever new ones popped up, they were always willing to hop on the phone to talk things through. It is also clear that they are respected by other vendors in the industry as well.
Alison and Jonathan are creative problem-solvers through and through, and they handled everything with grace and ease. When our venue unexpectedly changed what tables we would need to rent, they found a straightforward solution that not only solved the issue, but actually ended up saving us money. Moments like that showed us just how deeply they understand the industry and care for their clients.
On the day of the wedding, everything ran flawlessly. They were both calm, composed, and completely on top of every detail. At one point, an entire espresso martini spilled down my back, and they immediately stepped in and got every trace of it out without disrupting a thing. It’s in moments big and small like that when you realize just how much they care and how truly exceptional they are at what they do.
Alison and Jonathan were the best planners I could’ve possibly imagined! From the beginning, they made the vendor picking process so easy and enjoyable. They led us to the perfect ...
vendors for us which contributed to our perfect day that felt so us. Alison and Jonathan respected our budget, our style, my crazy parents and their content questions, all with grace and calmness. The wedding planning process is not an easy one but they made it so much fun and truly as stress free as possible. They followed up on each step at just the right time and I was never worried anything would fall through the cracks.
I worked with Jonathan & Alison of TKE for my August 2025 wedding and would strongly recommend them to anyone. My priority in looking for a planner was to find someone who would th...
ink of everything and stay on top of it so I didn't have to, and that is exactly what Jonathan and Alison provided. Not only were they there to stay ahead of things I didn't even realize needed to be thought about, but they were also great sounding boards and we would often make decisions based on what they thought had worked best in their experience (perfect for anyone who is slightly indecisive, especially with so many decisions to be made)! Then, on the day of, they were there making sure everything ran smoothly and that my husband and I were happy, calm, and well-fed :). They are truly a dynamic duo and you will never regret hiring them for your big day!

Our wedding day could not have gone any better. Everyone says something always goes wrong on your wedding day, but fortunately our day was perfect, and we credit this to Jonathan and Alison. We'd highly recommend their services!!
Alison and Jonathan were true lifesavers during our wedding planning at The Boathouse, a beautiful but challenging venue with a lot of restrictions. As month-of coordinators, they ...
jumped in with warmth, precision, and deep expertise but also supported us all along the way when we needed guidance or feedback. From building our day-of timeline to coordinating vendors and managing last-minute curveballs, they made sure everything ran flawlessly. Their calm, grounded presence helped us actually enjoy our wedding day, no small feat! We felt totally taken care of and are so grateful for their guidance.

cess and delivered a wedding weekend that exceeded our very high expectations.
From our initial phone conversation, it was clear we were dealing with two experts who knew exactly what they were doing. Alison and Jonathan are a great team -- organized, experienced, calm and supportive -- and nothing over the course of our 15+ months of planning even remotely phased them. They are also great listeners, asking us all of the right questions to determine what sort of a wedding we wanted.
We can't thank Alison and Jonathan enough and give them our highest recommendation.
There are no words to describe how incredible Alison and Jonathan are. Not only did we have the perfect wedding, but we also got to enjoy an easy, stress-free planning process. If ...
you work with Alison and Jonathan, you’ll be among the rare lucky couples who can truly say that they found wedding planning fun and hassle-free. Our wedding was better than we ever could have imagined thanks to these two.

r wedding. Alison and Jonathan made us feel so supported and made sure our event felt like "us" even when we couldn't quite find the words or images to describe what that meant ourselves. They were there for us every step of the way, beginning with our venue search, and helped ensure our wedding planning process felt completely stress-free (to the point that friends and family were shocked at how relaxed we were). They helped us find vendors who were as competent and kind as the two of them, which is a high bar. And while we of course witnessed and felt all of their hard work in the months leading up to the wedding, nothing prepared us for how seamless and beautiful everything felt day-of. We had the most special day--and, most importantly, were able to focus entirely on celebrating with friends and family thanks to Jonathan, Alison, and the team they assembled working tirelessly in the background. I can confidently say our wedding wouldn't have been possible without Jonathan and Alison. We can't recommend them highly enough!

m sourcing the venue and all the vendors, to planning every moment of our special weekend, we knew we were in spectacular care with these two amazing people. Plus, they are just awesome individuals with great personalities! Calm, yet attentive...relaxed, yet incredibly diligent and focused. If we could rate them 6 stars, we would! We simply cannot recommend them enough and are truly grateful for everything they did for us. They are already planning another wedding in our family coming up soon and we have full confidence that they will deliver once again.
Alison and Jonathan provided the best help and guidance while planning our wedding. They have so much wisdom and experience, turning an overwhelming process into one of ease. They ...
kept us sane and calm, always providing the reassurance and support we needed. Alison and Jonathan are truly the perfect duo, they work together so well and assure that all of our needs were taken care of. They helped us pick amazing vendors and made sure everything was perfect; the day-of - the flowers were breathtaking, the food was next level, the music and dancing was insane, and literally everyone could not stop telling us how unique and special the entire day was.
Overall, Alison and Jonathan were incredible partners, helping us plan our wedding in a calm, efficient and organized way. We could not have asked for better people next to us throughout the process.
We will be recommending Two Kindred Events far and wide to all of our friends who get married in the coming years.
Cannot say enough good things about Alison and Jonathan! We ended up booking their partial planning services but long before their services kicked in, they were giving us vendor re...
commendations, making connections for us and reviewing contracts. They were the most worthwhile vendor we could have booked and made everything run so seamlessly the week and day of our wedding (even with a full ceremony pivot to move from outdoors to indoors in light of unprecedented heat two days before the wedding). They were truly so lovely and responsive and we can't thank them enough for the perfect wedding!

hey know the New York area wedding scene intimately, and have strong relationships with top tier vendors. Whenever we needed a suggestion on a vendor, they recommended multiple options who fit our needs perfectly. We had a guest count of nearly 300 people, and they coordinated everything leading up to the wedding perfectly and the event was magical and flawless! On the wedding day, Jonathan and Alison were there every step of the way keeping the entire operation on track and running smoothly, and allowed us to simply soak in the occasion and not worry or stress about a single thing. We could not recommend them more for your special day!
We worked with Alison and Jonathan beginning 1 year before our wedding with the partial planning package, but truly it felt like a full service experience. They are the height of p...
rofessionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail. There were so many things they handled without being asked on the wedding day behind the scenes that we didn't even know about until after the fact, when our wedding party complimented how our planners had been so on top of every detail. We highly recommend TKE for any wedding and any event!
Incredible planners that made our wedding amazing. There for us every step of the way and I can’t thank them enough for making this so easy and fun.
We worked with Alison and Jonathan for almost a full year using their partial planning package and could not recommend working with them more. They were so helpful throughout the p...
rocess - answering all of our questions via email, making great recommendations and soothing our anxieties on regular calls. They took over everything 6 weeks out from the wedding, and things could not have gone smoother. Our wedding day turned out perfect, they really handled anything that came up and our families and wedding parties also had nothing but good things to say. If I had another big event I would absolutely work with them again.
We worked with Jonathan and Alison over the course of 16 months and they helped us plan the perfect wedding. We had many many questions throughout this process, and they answered ...
all of them in prompt and helpful responses. They are both detail-oriented and can call out issues that we would have missed on our own. When we had hiccups or obstacles come up, they were able to figure out a solution that didn't compromise our vision for the wedding. On the day of the wedding, we were able to fully enjoy and relax knowing that they had everything handled. We highly recommend TK Events for your special day.
Jonathan & Alison were the best planners we could have asked for. Due to COVID, we ended up working with them over the course of nearly three years - and we would not have had it ...
any other way. Although I am incredibly Type A and a total control freak, Alison and Jonathan were the ones who helped take my (our?) vision and translate it into reality. They dealt with my many, many (many!) emails, questions, stresses, etc...and their expert advice was invaluable. Ultimately, our big day was absolutely perfect, and I don't think we'd have gotten there without TKE!
From the bottom of our hearts, we are SO appreciative of everything Alison and Jonathan did for us over the 15 months we partnered with them for our wedding. Particularly on the da...
y of the wedding, they were around to handle so many little pivots (due to the weather and a number of other unpredictable things), requests from family members, operational things and so many little details we did not have time to cover or think about. They covered it all! We are so grateful to them for helping us carry out the wedding of our dreams! I could not recommend them more!
I actually cannot recommend Alison & Jonathan enough. Because of them, our wedding was everything we could have dreamed of and more. I am a super Type A girl who was emailing all t...
he time with little questions (especially during the wedding week—constant emailing) and Jonathan and Alison answered them all and made me feel at ease the entire way. They were so knowledgable about all questions I had on wedding etiquette, telling me what they have seen done and what they suggest. I had friends who warned me about how stressful the day of the wedding can be, but that was absolutely not my experience. They truly made the day so easy for me. There are a LOT of voices on the day of the wedding having input, and it was so nice to have someone else handle that. Most importantly to me, I had a distinct vision I was looking for at my wedding and they both really understood the assignment—which made talking with vendors super easy. Beyond their knowledge and diligence, they are also lovely people to be around and an absolute joy to have planning such an important life event. Highly recommend!
I can't overemphasize how amazing Alison and Jonathan were. As someone who worries about everything, I truly never imagined my wedding day could be as calm and carefree as it was. ...
And even my mother (who rarely has exclusively glowing things to say about anything) raved about what an incredible job they did.
From the beginning, they asked thoughtful questions to understand our needs and wants better, took thorough notes, and many months later recalled and referenced even the smallest details that we had mentioned at our first meeting. They laid out timelines, kept track of contracts and budgets, the gave us a heads up on what we would be tackling next and when. I felt confident everything would come together at all times. There was never a frantic moment in the planning process.
They knocked every vendor recommendation out of the park and never pushed us in any one direction and brought an element of calming reassurance to the whole process. They made everything so stress-free, and I felt like we were in such good hands the whole way through but especially on the day itself where they were both so present, calm, and helpful.
I know people always say that something will go wrong on your wedding day and to just let go, but thanks to TKE I can honestly say nothing went wrong!
Our wedding would not have been the smashing success without the help of Jonathan and Alison. Throughout the process they were incredibly helpful with finding vendors, coordinating...
details, and organizing for day of the event. Our venue and some of our vendors were not the easiest to work with, but Jonathan and Alison handled everything with professionalism. They strongly advocated for us both leading up to the wedding and during the day. Whenever we turned around the day of the wedding, one of them was there to help us. Their calm, yet competent, demeanor is the exact energy you want around you the day of your wedding. We cannot recommend working with Jonathan and Alison enough, 10/10. They are absolutely wonderful.

Right from our initial meeting, Jonathan and Alison impressed us with their composed and professional approach. They maintained a sense of tranquility that reassured us and alleviated any anxieties we had about the planning process. Their ability to stay cool under pressure was truly commendable, ensuring that we could focus on the joyous aspects of our wedding preparations.
TKE's expertise in vendor sourcing was truly remarkable. Their extensive network of top-tier professionals in the wedding industry was evident as they effortlessly connected us with vendors who perfectly matched our vision and requirements, ensuring that we had access to the best options available. This level of attention to detail gave us confidence that every aspect of our wedding would be executed flawlessly.
Jonathan and Alison's guidance throughout the day-of was also invaluable. They provided us with a structured timeline, offered key insights, and helped us make informed decisions every step of the way. Their wealth of experience and knowledge were evident as they anticipated potential challenges and offered practical solutions, saving us time and stress.
TKE's services as wedding planners exceeded our expectations. We wholeheartedly recommend TKE to any couple seeking professional and dedicated wedding planners who will go above and beyond to make their special day truly extraordinary.

up to the event when it seemed like the number of questions/ decisions from all of the vendors were endless and they knew the answer to every one of them without hesitation. We also really liked them as people - they were kind and brought a really positive energy. They are a great team - would highly recommend!

onathan & Alison.
TKE helped plan my full weekend wedding at Cedar Lakes Estate in December. While never having worked at the venue before, they did not miss a beat. As you can imagine, a multi-day event is a lot to take on and the two of them did it without question and helped with the flawless execution of multiple events.
Throughout the entire process, I could not get over their responsiveness (which is SO important with the many moving pieces of wedding planning & a high strung bride), depth of knowledge of the most nuanced aspects of planning and their ability to keep calm when other vendors were unresponsive or when I changed my mind many times throughout our 1.5 years working together.
I am a bit type-A and have a hard time relinquishing control but J&A worked with me in a way that let me feel in control while also offering their expertise. The entire weekend went perfectly all because of Alison & Jonathan.

Day of, I was able to have fun and truly feel at ease because I knew they had things covered. The next morning I had the moment of panic thinking I had lost the sleeves to my wedding dress.. but of course Alison was a step ahead of me and had in my hotel room already. We cant thank them enough!!!

Also, Alison and Jonathan's prior experience with my venue proved to be invaluable. Their great relationship with the management team and staff ensured everything went off without a hitch!
Thanks TKE!!

alities. They were always available to answer any questions and truly put so much time and attention into the process. Our wedding day was absolute perfection and we owe it all to TKE - not to mention how helpful it was to have them on site to ease any day of anxieties. huge success. Our entire planning process felt super smooth and not stressful, which is a testament to all the work they did behind the scenes, particularly on the day-of. They have a sixth sense for managing families & wedding parties and subtly guiding everyone to be exactly where they need to be. If anything went wrong our on wedding day we had no idea and were able to fully enjoy the day and be present. A huge part of working with planners is their vendor connections and relationships and it was clear that not only do J&A have great taste, but everyone really enjoys working with them. Basically, they're the best and we'd recommend them to anyone!
Alison and Jonathan were absolutely amazing and played a truly indispensable role during our planning process, rehearsal dinner, & wedding day. We had a large wedding during a COVI...
D peak - 300 guests at Weylin on 1/22/22 - and we could not have pulled any of it off, from the logistics of testing to the beautiful design, without them. They were so helpful, knowledgeable and supportive, and most of all incredibly responsive - not just to my husband and me, but to my mom and mother-in-law too. We were far from a "low maintenance" couple or family, and they responded to every single email, call, and text quickly and handled all our personalities with ease, humor and grace. I'm so glad that we hired TKE!
We loved working with Alison and Jonathan. They were incredibly hands-on when we initially planned our wedding. They really listened to how we envisioned our event and set us up ...
with venues and vendors that matched our tastes and budget. (And we could tell those vendors loved working with TKE time and time again.) Like many others, our wedding was postponed due to the pandemic, after we had originally planned it. Not only were Jonathan and Alison organized and empathetic in managing the postponement of our big party, they scrambled to help us find a replacement venue on short notice for a “mini wedding” on our original date. They were a great resource for ideas and information as to how other couples were approaching the new normal of pandemic weddings. As the date of our postponed wedding party approached, TKE was proactive in reminding us of deadlines and making sure we were coordinating with all of our vendors. Not a single ball was dropped! And on the day of the party, they managed the set-up brilliantly – the room was beautiful, the band rocked and the party went off without a hitch. We didn’t worry about a thing and got to enjoy our day with family and friends. All thanks to the wonderful Jonathan and Alison.
TKE is AMAZING - we are so thankful to have worked with Alison and Jonathan for our wedding! They were there to help every step of the way from providing vendor options, handling c...
ommunications and managing day-of logistics. They are true professionals - experienced, responsive, super organized, and they have relationships with some of the most talented vendors. Most importantly, they took the stress out of wedding planning. I truly was not stressed the entire year leading up to my wedding. The thing I loved most about working with them was how detail oriented and hands on they were. They truly think of everything! My anxiety set in the week leading up to our wedding - Alison and Jonathan were available by phone & e-mail throughout the week and eased my concerns about the photography timeline and my flower girl not wanting to walk down the aisle alone (all minor in hindsight!). The morning of our wedding everything was seamless - Alison and Jonathan coordinated with all of our vendors - florist, hair and make-up artists and photographers - to ensure they had the day-of timeline and the hotel details. The ceremony and reception were no different! They kept everyone on track, making for an absolutely perfect evening. A few days after the wedding, my Mom informed me that one of the guests unexpectedly brought a plus one. She let Alison and Jonathan know and they quickly made sure there was an extra place setting at the table. My point is, I had no idea this even happened. That's the beauty of working with TKE - they handled the hiccups so we could enjoy our evening and soak it all in.

AMAZING!! Truly the best in the business. Not only are Alison & Jonathan the nicest, coolest people EVER, they are meticulous, organized, and so helpful. They remember every single...
detail and no stone is left unturned. From providing the best vendors, to site visits, to managing the final weeks of prep, we couldn't have asked for better planners. Not to mention we had to change venues and dates due to COVID and the process was seamless and easy with J&A by our sides. They are truly TWO of a kind.
AMAZING!! Jonathan and Ali were there every step of our wedding. We had to replan our wedding twice and had to change our location from a venue in Brooklyn to our backyard in PA. I...
would highly recommend hiring Jonathan and Ali, they were fantastic. They are so detail oriented, organized and positive. I said several times throughout our wedding night, "Thank God we have Jonathan and Ali". There was no task they weren't up for; from organizing our reception, directing vendors, tying my husband's bow tie, holding my dress from the rain, escorting family, they did it all! Even my family was raving about them and were so happy to have "point people" for direction. They are the perfect duo and allow you to enjoy your wedding day! Thank you Jonathan and Ali for everything you did for our big day!!
We initially stumbled upon Two Kindred Events when my partner and I got engaged in March 2020. We were hoping to plan a 250-person wedding for spring of 2021. Fast forward 6 months...
, this seemed less and less likely given the pandemic situation. We did not want to wait. We were tired of feeling uncertain. And so we reached out to Alison and Jonathan for a consultation. In the end, we had a 6-person ceremony and a 25-person outdoor dinner in early October. It could not have been more perfect. Not only did they help us with vendors and covid logistics, they also made our day stress free and seamless. Our guests absolutely loved the experience and we had the best time ever. We cannot recommend Alison and Johnathon enough. We are still hoping to do a larger event in the future when it is safe to travel and gather again. And this was an amazing trial run. We hope to work with them again and so should you!
SO FABULOUS- Start to finish!!
Jonathan and Alison worked with us for our daughter's wedding. It was a major production- big wedding, rehearsal dinner, brunch- lots of venues, lot...
s of moving pieces and very elaborate decor. Our daughter's vision was very unique and they realized it completely. They were incredible. They kept everyone on track, organized the vendors, and were completely unfazed- they were always the calm center of the storm of activity. They were present throughout the weekend and made us all feel that everything was handled and we were taken care of. We couldn't have been happier and we highly recommend them!
Jonathan and Alison were so enormously helpful as our wedding coordinators! They worked with us for the six weeks up to and including the wedding day at Blue Hill at Stone Barns. W...
e considered ourselves very hands-on through our planning process, but there were dozens of details that the TK team helped with that we could not have foreseen—informing vendors of other vendors’ plan changes, ferrying supplies, being there to course correct when the inevitable last-minute change happens. They kept in super close touch with us throughout via phone, email, and video chat, and were always extremely prompt, responsive, and friendly. On the wedding day, they served invaluable functions, like photography direction, helping the band set up, cueing the ceremony, outfit adjustments, and end-of-night supplies gathering—all in a gentle and non-obtrusive way that let us relax and enjoy the moments that made up the day. Our wedding had some moderately non-traditional elements, and J&A were incredibly instrumental in getting our vision made into a reality that we were able to experience fully and enjoy completely!
Jonathan from Two Kindred Events was one of the most integral vendors of our wedding. He was incredibly organized and didn't leave anything up to chance. We had him for the month o...
f our wedding and helped us coordinate with other vendors throughout the month and day of. Our guests also noticed how hospitable Jonathan was during the Big Day. Our money was well spent with Two Kindred Events and would recommend them to anyone planning a wedding.
