Leah + Natalie were so awesome to work with! True professionals! Their attention to detail and thorough communication made our job as a video/photo team so much easier. They were so friendly and can't wait to work with them again!
Looking back, hiring Yoko and TPE was the decision that had the greatest impact on our wedding and our planning experience. We had our wedding in my childhood backyard in the Bay Area, even though we live on the East Coast. TPE was more than equipped to help us plan a cross-cultural backyard wedding, all while we lived nowhere near the venue. Yoko was an incredible source of help and calm throughout. She kept us organized and on task, but never added any additional stress. We left each planning meeting feeling calmer and confident that we were on track. TPE were happy to accommodate any of our vendor choices and offered a great selection when we didn’t know where to start. After our wedding, I had numerous friends/family ask me about Yoko – she was incredible! She spent the day running around making sure everything ran smoothly (even when the cops came!), all with a huge smile and made it look effortless. I cannot imagine having done the wedding without her.
I always had friends tell me the wedding planning process would be this incredibly stressful time. However, we were never that stressed! In fact we genuinely enjoyed a lot of it. I credit that entirely to Yoko and TPE <3
I just completed a wedding with Yoko from Two Perfect Events. Yoko was amazing to work with and every step of the way she was on her game. I work at a venue and it can be a challenge to get a vendor team who is both professional and is there to WORK.
From the beginning, Yoko was on top of what the couple wanted but also needed. She made sure no detail was overlooked and then triple-checked again. Both she and her team worked diligently, professionally, and with a kindness that is not often seen in the event world.
Planning a wedding can be a huge undertaking and I watched as Yoko took charge and made sure nothing was forgotten. On the day everyone was on top of their game, and no one was rushing to go home. Another rarity in the event world.
I look forward to any event planned by Yoko because I know it will be extremely smooth and it will bring to life everything the couple has been planning with effortless skill.

Working with Two Perfect Events, and specifically with Leah and Yoko, was the best decision we made for our wedding. We live in the Bay Area but had decided to have our wedding in Washington state. We knew this was going to be an additional challenge planning an out of state wedding so having an event planner was without question. Leah supported with all of our planning at the start and then transitioned it over to Yoko in the last couple of months leading up to the wedding as Yoko would be our day of coordinator. I was a pretty hands-on bride often doing a lot of the research for vendors. Leah supported me in communicating with different vendors, asking all the right questions, and helping us to read the fine print of contracts. If it wasn't for Leah, we definitely would have missed some significant key details. When things transitioned over to Yoko leading up to the wedding, Yoko encouraged frequent and consistent communication to review every single detail down to every minute of the day. It really helped to ease my own worries and anxiety over how the day was going to go knowing that I was in really good hands. Every week that we met with Yoko, I felt the relief of all our questions, concerns, and worries being addressed, and knowing that she was on our side to bring our vision to life. Yoko helped to rally all of our vendors and made sure everyone was on the same page. On the day of the wedding, Yoko made sure that we, as the bride and the groom, were able to live in the moment and enjoy our day. Yoko was the best day of coordinator who expertly ensured everything was running smoothly, and guided all of our vendors. We felt so taken care of by Yoko and our vendors, and the day was as magical as could be. Everything was even better than we imagined and we couldn't be more thankful to Two Perfect Events for playing the biggest role in making our wedding a dream come true. Thank you Leah and Yoko! I know that this wedding would be a lot more stressful and challenging if we did this on our own. We are forever grateful!
We had the pleasure of working with Leah for over a year to plan our wedding, and Monica the day of - and boy were we glad we had their help. Initially we found TPE through instagram, and had cold-called them. On top of being extremely good at what they do, we liked that they shared a lot of the same values that we did - and this sealed the deal for us. Over the course of a year, Leah patiently helped us find vendors, look through contracts, keep us on track etc. Most importantly, she gave us a sense of security and that we weren't going to accidentally forget something. We had several non-traditional, rather chaotic activities for our wedding that Leah helped brainstorm and in the end pull off. Our guests have told us that this was one of the most fun and memorable weddings they've been to - and this was thanks directly to Leah and her team.

We hired Two Perfect Events for our December wedding. We had Leo, Natalie and Leah help with our big day and they were great to work with. Leo and Leah really helped with all of the planning prior to the wedding and made sure we met deadlines. They were very responsive and took the hard part out of the planning. If planning a wedding or other event sounds overwhelming (which it is) then you should definitely look into hiring them to help you out! We found them through Yelp and decided to go with them after seeing all of their rave reviews and we sure did not regret it!
We really appreciated how when we came up with last minute ideas for our wedding, like booking a Santa, they were quick to say “alright, we will find some options for you!” They sent us a great option that we ended up booking and loving. Truly, they did so much of the research for us so we didn’t have to do everything ourselves. Our wedding was so close to Christmas that we decided to go full blown Christmas wonderland theme. It was so magical and everything had such a warm Christmas vibe. Our wedding got pushed back a couple times due to COVID and family matters, but Two Perfect Events stuck with us and made sure we didn’t put our wedding on the backburner altogether and forget about it. They helped us locate a venue, book vendors, contact vendors, arrange schedules, planned a rehearsal, and most importantly, helped out with the day of the wedding. The day of the wedding help they provided was worth it on its own! It was great how Leo was able to think on the spot and when we noticed guests were leaving slightly early due to the time, he proposed doing a faux exit so guests could participate before leaving and that was awesome! We managed to capture the moment with guests but not keep them all past their bedtimes. Book Two Perfect Events for your wedding!
As another wedding vendor (transportation) it was a pleasure working with Yoko. She was detailed in her communication and easy to work with. She provided me with the answers to any questions I had and helped things run smoothly on our end so we could provide the couple with a fun and unique trolley experience! I hope to work with one of her couples again in the future!
Two Perfect Events is excellent at fulfilling the vision that you bring to them (we had an art deco garden party theme for our wedding, with the ceremony in a greenhouse and the reception at a Peruvian restaurant). They’re also great at ensuring you consider all facets of a wedding to be prepared for anything. It attests to the quality of their work that Leo, Leah, and the Two Perfect Events team do before and during the big day that our wedding went off literally without a hitch (actually not literally, because we did get hitched!). The event flow went flawlessly all due to Two Perfect Events working behind the scenes to coordinate, schedule, and ensure every last detail and request was fulfilled, all while caring for us newlyweds and keeping us hydrated, which allowed us to stay in the present and enjoy our wedding while they worried about the small details.
One example to highlight just how spectacular Two Perfect Events is at making your dream a reality — our wedding included the Jewish wedding tradition of breaking a glass to conclude the ceremony. We decided that we wanted to stomp the glass at the exact moment when the beat dropped and the music swelled in our recessional song choice (“6’s to 9’s” by Big Wild). We had one chance to get it right, because the first time we’d even practice with the DJ would be live on the big day. During the rehearsal, Leo tracked the practice ceremony with a stopwatch in order to inform the DJ and perfectly time the moment. We truly did not believe it would actually be possible, and yet — the moment that we smashed the glass and the music swelled simultaneously, while our friends and family cheered us on, is one of the highlights of our wedding day. The attention to detail that Leo showed with the stopwatch exemplifies the quality that Two Perfect Events delivers.
I had the pleasure in October to work with Two Perfect Events. They create absolutely incredible events, check out their work featured on Green Wedding Shoes.They have a great depth of knowledge at wedding events to make sure everything goes smoothly and have a great list of preferred vendors if you need help in that department. My main contact was Leah and she was so awesome in communicating with emails. She had everything planned out to the detail. Hire them for your wedding you won’t regret it.

Leah's team is hands down perfection! As a hair and makeup artist, I've had the opportunity with various members of her team and they are all so wonderful and excellent at communication and coordination. They ensure that all vendors are aware of any changes and provide all up to date information. Even my brides have nothing but kindness to say about Leah's team. She takes the stress and pressures away and allows the bride's to actually enjoy the wedding planning process. I always enjoy working with Two Perfect Events!
We hired Leah at Two Perfect Events as our lead planner and also had Annie and Marissa tag along for day-of coordination. We can't recommend them enough!
Leah was very on top of everything and knowledgeable, but more than anything, she helped us feel like nothing would fall through the cracks. We were on an extremely short timeline (4.5 month engagement!) but still had the wedding of our dreams thanks to Leah. She moved things along but also never made us feel rushed, pressured, or judged for being "behind." (When you start at 4.5 months to go, you start out behind on a lot...)
We found Leah after messaging literally every planner from yelp who had 5 stars, more than 25 reviews, and was near the bay area. That was like 50 planners! We already had our hair and makeup artist selected by the time of those frantic late night cold emails, and our HMU artist specifically mentioned having worked with Leah and having good experiences. Leah wrote us back, and we made it official soon after. (Full transparency: we did almost go with a different planner, but she was 3x as expensive and immediately made mistakes with our names, so we took that as a sign to pursue someone else and are so glad we did.)
Our wedding was typical in some ways and very atypical in others. We had a very small wedding ceremony (a dozen people in a backyard) on a Friday afternoon and a larger wedding reception (115 people at a restaurant/event space) the following night. This presented all kinds of logistical and social challenges, and Leah helped us navigate all of them.
Overall, Leah followed through, helped us feel calm, and was responsive, communicative, and thorough. We love Leah!
This is a very overdue review! My husband and I hired Two Perfect Events as our full-service planners for our August 18th wedding. Words cannot describe how incredible they were. What was originally supposed to be a 40 person-backyard wedding became a 80-person garden wedding instead (essentially overnight because of my parents), and they were on the ball about EVERYTHING. Very efficient and adaptable! All of our vendors came from their recommendation and they were joys to work with. And when issues came up, they were really on the ball about taking care of it. The HMUA that we inititally looked at ended up bailing on us a few days before the trial. Leo and Leah were super quick about finding other HMUAs that were still available and within budget, and I actually ended up liking our new HMUA more than the first one. Also, they planned the entire wedding in 6 months. Just absolute superstars. There's just so much joy and peace in knowing that you're in incredibly capable hands.
This is just about the professional aspect of it too! Leo, Leah, Yoko, and Natalie were also absolute joys to work with on a more human level too. They were professional and polite, but they never felt standoffish or impersonal. I have good memories of my SIL chatting with Natalie about if anybody's ever told her she looked like this one celebrity; my mom showing Yoko around her garden; late night, my and my husband's friends chatting about anime with Leo; and Leah's big smile of happiness as we just did our thing. It feels like they're in the business because they actually do enjoy it and it definitely shows in the care and attention that they put in. Special shoutout to Leo who we worked with predominantly. My MIL LOVED him. She can be self conscious about asking too many questions or being "too much", but Leo handled all her questions with grace and dignity. Never made her feel like she was a bother.
We cannot recommend Two Perfect Events enough. They made our wedding day an absolute dream. Joy is looking at your spouse's face and being like "Oh my God, we actually had fun at our wedding" lol If we could go back and change anything, there wouldn't be anything to change. Wow… my husband and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding day. We worked with a power team consisting of Yoko, Natalie, and Leah, all three of whom were instrumental in making this day happen. Especially Yoko, our lead planner, who was the absolute GOAT! She is extremely friendly, personable, professional, detail-oriented, calm, and patient... possibly all the qualities you want in a wedding planner, especially coming from someone who prefers taking the reins on every little thing (lol)! We deeply appreciate Yoko’s hard work leading up to and on the day of. She kept us informed about everything and answered the myriad of questions we had every step of the way, always doing her best to honor our vision, offering alternative solutions when we needed it, ensuring we took care of what we needed to do, as well as making sure we were also well-taken care of! When I initially told Yoko at the start of our planning process that we wanted to have a primarily all-female team of vendors, she was so excited by the idea and did an excellent job searching for vendors. Two Perfect Events coordinated our October 2022 wedding. Leah and Leo were our main planners, and they saved our wedding so many times over.
I am a project manager by day and a Pinterest/Notion/Excel-obsessed life planner by night. When I reached out to TPE, I thought I only needed support for month-of coordination support. I assumed I could handle the bulk of planning myself, but I was sooo wrong. Not only did Leah and Leo improve upon our vision, but they also executed it far better than we ever could have alone.
Leah and Leo are the best kind of planners: responsive, not pushy, poised, and highly practical. Whenever I threw out outlandish ideas (and there were many), Leah would always calmly respond “anything is possible in events” and share options. They organized every detail of our wedding using a custom portal, which was more comprehensive than any wedding planning template I’ve found online. Even our caterer mentioned to us that Leah is one of the best planners she’s worked with.
Unfortunately, our wedding venue canceled our booking just over a month before our wedding date. Leah and Leo mobilized immediately. They helped us contact 100+ venues and explored every contingency option. We had to re-plan the entire wedding from scratch, as so much of our planning leading up to that point was specific to the old venue. TPE essentially planned TWO weddings for us, and they minimized our panic every step of the way.
Our wedding was always going to be a cultural fusion event, and TPE is certainly an expert in that genre. We also loved their ability to execute unique yet unpretentious experiences. I’m pretty picky with design, but they always sent us personalized recommendations for decor and vendors who fit our style perfectly.
For the wedding day itself, we didn't need to worry about any vendor-related decisions. There were literally thousands of details that Leah and Leo kept track of—e.g. coordinating delivery times, setting up every station for catering and decor, etc. Everything could have fallen apart without their support. We wish for every wedding to have planners as helpful as Leah and Leo!
Two Perfect Events helped us coordinate our recent wedding. We wanted a relatively simple, no frills wedding, and they definitely helped us deliver on our vision, even finding ways to accommodate some of our non-traditional asks.
Leah was our main point of contact during the planning process. She helped keep us on track with decisions that needed to be made and really stepped up in the final two months of the planning process to make sure that everything was coordinated smoothly with our vendors.
On the day of our wedding, Leah and Leo handled all of the logistics, which removed a huge amount of stress from my partner and me. Knowing that they had all of the setup, teardown, and intra-wedding coordination handled allowed us to relax and be in the moment with each other. We had some unexpected issues with audio and delivery timing, but Leah and Leo were able to troubleshoot these problems in a timely manner, all while remaining ultra communicative throughout the actual event.
We definitely recommend Two Perfect Events for both planning and day-of coordination of weddings!
The Two Perfect Events Team is a class act. The Team made of Justine, Annie Marissa, and Natalie and lead by Leah Hwung is professional, accommodating and incredibly organized. From the start we knew we were in good hands as Leah and her Team had organized my Fathers Wedding, which was perfect. Leah started with the detail tracker which lined out all of the aspects of a wedding. She educated and guided us through the process. Her knowledge and respect among the vendors was impressive. They all enjoyed working with her and I believe this was a factor in the smoothness of the event was due to her industry relationships. Leah provided great vendor and contract management saving us time and stress.
Day of the wedding was when Leah and her team really shined. Leah handled all of the behind-the-scenes action to ensure that the event ran smoothly and perfect. We did not see or experience any hick-ups which helped calm our nerves on an already stressful day. The regular check-ins throughout the day were comforting and organized. Another aspect of the Wedding’s success was the Team’s ability quickly and efficiently find solutions to problems. Day of was executed flawlessly.
If you are planning on getting married, I would highly recommend the Two Perfect Events Team. Their professionalism and style are top notch, and they are able to deliver an event that is truly memorable.
Simply put, instead of worrying about the execution of event, my Wife and I were able to focus solely on each other and isn’t that the point of a wedding?

Leah was our wedding planner, we worked with her for 1.5 years, and Leo joined her to coordinate the day of the wedding.
A top theme that our guests loved about the event was how on time everything was — if the schedule says sth is happening at at 8:40, it starts at 8:40 sharp. And we have Leah and Leo to thank to keep everything on top of schedule, placed at the right place, and running smoothly.
We're still in disbelief at how smooth the wedding went. Though no doubt that many obstables may have arisen but we (or our critical siblings) weren't aware of any cuz Leah and Leo were super on top of things and constantly in communications with each other and the vendors. Leah even worked tirelessly to cover up mud stains on my wedding dress right before the ceremony.
Leah was also instrumental in negotiating the contract with the venue. We were one of the first couples to work with the venue's team so the contract was written from scratch and went through many iterations to get to the final version.
Even though there were some bumps during the planning process, the result was better than I could ever expect.
We did not spring for the full planning package, as we intended to do most of the design and vendor hiring ourselves. Instead, we got a consulting plus coordinator package. Leah was very helpful with connecting us with vendors, reviewing contracts, and dealing with the rental order. During the planning stages, TPE staff went on vacation without notifying us, so there was a short period where we didn’t hear back from them, but this seemed like a one-off oversight.
Day of, Leo and Justine were instrumental in keeping our wedding reception on track and moving smoothly. They asked for a detailed break-down of decor instructions, and didn’t need any hand holding to set things up the way we wanted. Where there was ambiguity, they made executive decisions that worked well. They took care of all the details, from the initial setup, to making sure we were where we needed to be at all times. Leo was considerate, recording the speeches and toasts for us. Leo was flexible, adapting the speech schedule when the kitchen was delayed. Leo was there for cleanup as well, helping us get everything out of the venue before 11pm. Honestly, the night would have been way more chaotic and stressful without Leo and Justine. These were some of the most organized people I’ve ever met. They even had headsets for ultimate efficiency and professionalism. We felt very VIP. Thanks so much for all your hard work.
Leah and the rest of the TPE team were our LIFESAVERS for our August wedding! Even despite the influx of 2022 weddings, Leah never failed to make us feel special throughout the entire process, in addition to taking care of every. single. little. detail. leading up to the wedding day. She truly felt like our friend and was so personable, yet extremely professional.
The documents, checklists, spreadsheets that they had provided all in our custom wedding portal were all so helpful and we depended on them like no others. The logistics of planning a wedding is never fun, however Leah took care of pretty much everything for us, from helping select our dream venue, communicating and sourcing the rest of our vendors, reviewing contracts, and finding the little "gotchas" that we would have thought of on our own.
We were also wowed by our custom design proposal - Leah had prepared an entire design deck that helped us form our vision and allow for it to come to life. My husband and I had pieces of aspects we wanted for our wedding, but didn't exactly know how to bring all of them together into a cohesive design theme or vision, and that is when Leah came in and brought it all together for us into a perfect design vision deck. We loved it!
A couple months before the wedding, when things really started getting crazy, that is when we truly felt taken care of by Leah and team. Leo came onboard to help source our remaining vendors, and Yoko also stepped in to design our seating chart for us. Leah was always readily available, provided guidance and suggestions without ever being pushy once (which was something we both appreciated and were so impressed by!), and truly acted as the third leg of our stool.
During the wedding day, we couldn't have imagined a better team of day-of coordinators than Leah, Leo, and McKenna. Even our wedding party and family members commented on how well-organized they were. Not only that, but they also treated our loved ones and our VIPs so well and that really was the cherry on top for us! The entire wedding went smoothly as can be, and for the aspects that didn't go exactly as planned that were out of our control (aka windy weather) Leah was honest about what went wrong and how they decided to handle it instead, which we really appreciated.
Thank you Leah and the TPE team once again for being a huge part of our special day, and for everything you've done for us behind the scenes! We feel so lucky and grateful that we found them, and having TPE be our wedding planner was definitely one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.
Leah and Leo were the dream team for our wedding! I interviewed several planners/coordinators and Leah stood out for being extremely organized, experienced, and even-keeled. She had an answer for everything and nearly all our vendors were referrals from her (including our venue, which ended up being a dream! And we never would have found it otherwise). The templates the team provided for the planning process were incredibly helpful, and enabled us to think through things we never would have thought of, like "how would you handle X scenario?" and "who is handling this piece of the process?". Having a massive checklist to go through also made us feel really confident that we weren't forgetting anything in the months (and then weeks) leading up to the final event. We got the partial planning package, and it was a massive help that they took over all logistics starting 90 days out. Our venue (an orchid greenhouse) isn't a typical location, but Leah knew all the tips and tricks for running an event seamlessly there and everyone told us afterward they were so impressed with the overall experience. The team ran the venue walkthrough and all vendor coordination, so all we had to do was show up and enjoy the day :) They handled last minute changes and asks seamlessly, including flipping the ceremony space for the reception in a tight window (and limited physical space), and they kept us on schedule but in a minimally disruptive way. Through it all, they were unflappable and courteous, and somehow both everywhere at once but also invisible in the background. It was truly amazing. I can't recommend them highly enough!
We are so happy we chose Two Perfect events for our May 6 2022 wedding. Our wedding day went perfectly, it was truly the best day of our lives, and we didn't need to worry about anything thanks to Leah and Leo making everything run smoothly behind the scenes. Leah's vendor referrals were excellent, i can't believe how beautiful it turned out!! AND somehow was well within our target budget!! Leah strikes a great balance of being flexible to support your choices and gearing her recommendations to what you want, but will give her advice on pros and cons when asked, and will also solve things for you and make new suggestions as makes sense given her experience and connections. For example i had picked out some rustic farm tables in that grey brown color that you always see on pinterest. she let us know that the rental company was offering a free upgrade to a new light warm color wood table that would be beautiful for our spring wedding, i was worried it would be too yellow so she got the florists opinion, she agreed it would be beautiful and i am SO glad we went with them, it looked STUNNING!!! in addition for the planning process, she has lots of forms and checklists to make sure all those little crucial details that we would never thought of get covered. on the day of, Leo did a great job taking care of us, making sure we were hydrated throughout the night. My husband and i will be forever grateful for the great job they did, highly recommend!!!
TPE made our wedding planning process low-stress, structured, and enjoyable, and they pulled off a wedding that was truly a life highlight and completely exceeded our expectations. My fiance and I were initially skeptical about having a wedding and put it off for 12 years, in part because we were daunted by the idea of creating a multi-cultural event that honored traditions while reflecting our values.
We worked with Leah, our lead planner, and Leo, initially for venue search-only and then partial planning (like day-of planning with a lot of support along the way). Throughout the planning process Leah was positive, calm, and open-minded--all reasons that attracted us to TPE. We wanted to have a not-super-traditional Indian/American wedding, in a casual, outdoor atmosphere that could accommodate many of the guests for the weekend. Leah helped us find the perfect venue, and then helped build up the vision from there with amazing vendor recommendations that were true to the vibe and budget.
On the day of the wedding and month leading up, Leo and Leah took a more hands-on approach, handled all of the vendor coordination, rental order, staffing, and timeline planning with great care and attention to detail. These details would have been overwhelming to figure out on our own, and it gave us more time to focus on the DIY projects we wanted to prioritize. Despite all of the work that went into planning, at the wedding, we were able to relax and be present in the moment due to the (literally) tireless effort and expertise of the TPE team. We originally found them through The Knot and it was easy to reach them and make an appointment to meet. My then-fiancée and I had also spoken with a couple other planners but immediately knew that TPE was the right choice. Our budget was a little tight in the beginning, but TPE never made us feel like we were reaching or asking too much of them. They were so reassuring right from the get go and we knew that they were up to the challenge. They resemble confidence and total competence.
They were always prompt and prepared with pre-made planning materials, spreadsheets, and advice that streamlined the whole process and made everything far less daunting. They also have so many connections to other vendors which helped us to find some wonderful folks for our wedding! Any time we had a question, we would reach out and get an email back within a few hours or sometimes minutes. They never left us hanging and it gave us such peace of mind throughout the process.
Personally I’m a worrier, so having Yoko be so available to answer my questions and field my concerns helped to make the day honestly perfect (they really do live up to their name!). As we got closer to the day and guests were sending curveballs and questions, Yoko stepped in and handled things gracefully via email. She always kept us in the loop during the final phases of the planning, but never asked us to handle anything alone if we didn’t feel comfortable doing so. When a vendor didn’t show up for one of our events preceding the wedding, she immediately sent an email and requested a discount for us.
Our opinions, wishes, and ideas were always taken into consideration and valued. We never once felt like we weren’t being heard. We’d hire them again in a heartbeat!!
I can't write enough how wonderful it was to work with Leah. I knew of her since she was a wonderful wedding planner for my friend and I saw how effortless she made the day seem for her that I had to use her services for my wedding! I chose the bookend services and that was extremely helpful as she provided amazing vendors to work with that fit within our budget and needs (ex. a caterer that made delicious food, but wasn't going to be unaffordable or our florist who could give us the look we wanted and work within the budget). All of our vendors were booked through her recommendations and we couldn't have been happier.
For the day of the wedding, Leah and Leo were a dream. They coordinated and managed everything where all my husband and I had to do was have fun and enjoy. We made 0 decisions other than to spend more time eating! They helped set up and also packed away items for us, which was so helpful for the next morning when the rental company came to pick up the rentals. I'm not sure how they managed to pull this off given that we were married in March 2022 and they were slammed by rescheduled 2020 + 2021 weddings, but we are super grateful that we picked them!

We booked the partial planning package and were thrilled to work with Leah, Leo, and Yoko. The planning portal we got access to was key for helping guide us through all of the steps, and point out things we should consider. Think all of the useful information from brides.com, theknot.com, etc but organized into a single source and none of it unnecessarily repeated–a lot easier to understand and parse. It was tedious to write down all of our details, but of course nobody can read minds and it was a great way for me to rehash the details–making sure it really was what we wanted. Paid off in dividends, to keep the TPE team aware of our plans and desires!
Throughout the process, Leah was incredibly communicative and suggested great vendors she’d personally worked with. We ended up booking our florist and photography/videography team through Leah’s recommendations, and they were all thrilled to work with Two Perfect Events again as well. We could tell why, as Leah & Leo kept everyone informed of the necessary details and worked hard to confirm everything (even with some week of changes on my part)!
On the day of, Leah and Yoko set up everything for our ceremony and kept an eye on it. The wind toppled some of our signs but they took the initiative and found a better, more secure location for our decor and tea ceremony. They kept everything running smoothly and on time, and brought us drinks regularly. Who knew your throat could get so dry after so many hours of smiling for photos? They did! Also appreciated that Leah checked with me about a layout miscommunication–she could tell that the vendor’s request was probably not one we desired.
Leo went ahead to our reception site to set up all of the centerpieces, table numbers, guestbook, ensure the drinks were where they needed to be, and so much more. When we arrived everything was ready and looked spectacular! Throughout the evening Leah and Leo were constantly there helping us, our guests, and all of our other vendors stay on schedule. Afterwards it was so great to be able to relax and chat with many of our guests as Leah and Leo packed up the remaining drinks and decor. They helped bring everything to our cars and the wrap up was so easy on our end.
A couple days later Leah sent us some photos and videos they’d captured, especially of the touching toasts and emotional moments. What a thoughtful gesture that kept the wedding high going.

I've had the pleasure of working with Leah and the team at TPE for a couple of years now! As a caterer, I love working with them because they are very organized, detailed and most importantly they are professional & team players. I met the team at my friends wedding and I couldn't believe what they pulled off. In the middle of the redwoods, with no service and being so remote, they manage to pull off this Burning Man/ Glamping theme which my friend & her husband absolutely loved. My friend still talks about that day, where Leah & the team at TPE took her vision and made it a reality. This might sound strange, but the way I know that Leah and Christina managed our wedding day perfectly is it could have been an absolute disaster behind the scenes, and we would never have known. To us it seemed like everything went great, but for all we knew, they could have been firefighting all day and just making sure that we never caught wind of it. They were just totally focused on ensuring we were enjoying each other and our guests. They were also a joy to work with throughout the planning process. I found them by searching for affordable wedding planners, and they made a great first impression by responding to my inquiry within hours. A conversation over the phone with Leah sealed the deal, as it was clear that she understood our priorities and would work to realize an event that felt right to us, as opposed to imposing any particular vision on us. TPE is extremely organized, well-connected with tons of *fantastic* local vendors, realistic and practical with their advice, and great at communicating at all points from initial contact to day-of. Plus, I think their help with referrals and rentals ultimately saved us more money than their fee. We couldn't have been more happy and relieved to have booked them.
We have so much gratitude and admiration for the astounding job that Leah, Yoko, Olivia did at our wedding. They are tremendously skilled, experienced, and professional and their rates are frankly a bargain for the incomparable level of work that they provide.
From the very beginning when providing us a proposal, Leah demonstrated how professional and personalized her services are. It was clear she took the time to understand what we were looking for and the type of event we were trying to put together. We planned a market-style wedding that eschewed traditional catering and seating in favor of a free-flowing event with multiple food stands. We thought that the informality of such an event might be simpler but of course using multiple, non-traditional vendors only made things more complicated. Leah and her team made order from chaos, wrangling our many vendors and ensuring that we were properly staffed and prepared given all the moving pieces.
Perhaps the most notable thing about Leah is how unflappable she is. She is almost meditatively calm at all times, and no situation ever seemed to faze her. We truly valued this, when things got particularly busy or we found ourselves out of our element, Leah's calmness and problem solving ability always kept us grounded and reassured.
Leah also recommended vendors who we ultimately selected for our cake, DJ, and bartender, who were all extremely affordable and did terrific work. It's clear she keeps good company.
In the leadup to our wedding, there was a freak weather event in the forecast, which of course stressed us out, but Leah was there the whole way to help us plan contingencies, and on the day-of improvised brilliantly to adjust layouts to be more conducive to the inevitable rain. Also on the day-of, Leah, Yoko, and Olivia looked out for us the whole evening, checking in frequently to keep us well fed, keep drinks in our hands, and made us feel really special.
And on top of it all, like a magic trick, after the wedding Leah provided us with an album of photos and videos that it turns out she, Yoko, and Olivia had taken throughout the event, one final example of them going well above and beyond.
We cannot recommend TPE highly enough. They have a special place in our hearts for helping us pull off our very particular vision for our wedding and keeping us sane while doing it.
We found Two Perfect Events through a recommendation from a wedding planning post on reddit. The redditor highly recommended one of the planners, Sees, so I contacted her and found that she had joined the Two Perfect Event team. We specifically wanted to hire a day-of coordinator. Leah and Sees zoomed with us and explained how they can help in the planning of our wedding. We later received some documents through google drive folder asking how we would like our wedding to be. For instance, the style/theme of the wedding, size of guests, concerns, and estimated budget, etc. Those forms are pretty useful for starting to plan our wedding. Although the amount of documents to be filled was a bit overwhelming, it is always somewhat optional for you to fill since the planners want to get an idea of what the couples are imagining for their wedding. Our package included regular check-ups. As Leah said, they tend to stay less aggressive in the early stage of wedding planning because they do not want to pressure couples too much at the early stage. And yes, they are very proactive about 2 months before the wedding.
Our wedding ceremony was meant to be in June 2020, but was forced to be postponed by one year due to COVID-19. Thanks to Leah, we smoothly postponed everything by a year without additional payment. Unfortunately, Sees became unavailable on our new wedding date, but Leah was able to appoint Yoko and Leo to be the day-of coordinators. During the planning stage, Leah and Yoko are very helpful and responsive. They two are like senior and experienced secretaries who answered your questions fast and gave useful suggestions and opinions. They are very easily approachable and professional as they have some connections in pretty much any related fields, such as photography, videography, florist, etc. (You may get some discount sometimes)
About 2 months before the wedding date, you can expect them to be super proactive confirming with vendors by emails and phone calls. I personally feel this part is extremely important, not just to confirm everything but also make couples know that everything is under their control. They are very professional and won’t miss any details. They know what may be overlooked. They saved everything in a shared google drive so it’s easy for both you and them to find and confirm schedules, items, etc., which was pretty useful especially for our situation where all vendors were postponed for one year. Thanks to the shared google drive, we may track back to signed documents to figure out what we signed one year ago as it is very easy to lose track.
During the wedding date, Yoko and Leo were the one who helped us on site. Leo speaks both Cantonese and English fluently. Yoko and Leo set the welcome table exactly as we wanted it to be. Leo and Yoko took care of all the details and communicated with vendors smoothly and made sure that everything was the same as planned. They did pretty much everything and showed up immediately if you needed/summoned them. Yoko checked in with the bride often, and everything went so smoothly. Overall, they are super friendly and useful. With all the things mentioned above, I recommend Two Perfect Events as your choice for your wedding planner!
Leah helped plan our wedding in September 2021 in the Bay Area. Super professional, responsive, and knowledgeable about the wedding planning process and industry. She was patient and empathetic during the initial consultation call and offered many ideas and inspiration to us as we figured out our wedding style and vision. Everything was so smooth and under control - they checked in with us often and also made sure all the vendors had what they needed and all the guests were where they should be. My wife and I are both busy professionals and frankly not the best at planning, we hired Leah (whom I'd met from volunteering at a junior sporting event five years prior) after reaching out for some advice on wedding planning. Her response was so helpful we had to ask if she could work with us!
From the start, she lit a fire under us with excellent planning materials and tireless support! I actually worry a lot WHEN DOES SHE SLEEP? Leah is very professional and extremely responsive, we had a very short timeline for our event and she explained clearly that this was possible and what we would need to do to make it happen.
Since we are new to wedding planning we didnt think about doing things like getting a videographer, however Leah did share feedback from couples she had helped before. Many regretted not having a videographer, ultimately we did get a videographer and the video is outstanding, I am so glad we did. This is just one small example of many decisions Leah helped guide us in.
One of the things I didn't consider initially when planning is the sheer number of vendors you need to make a full event, apart from the issue of coordination, you also want to make sure you have responsible, professional vendors. Leah has an extensive roster of highly professional vendors with storied portfolios, together with Leah coordinating they form a highly effective team!
In the week or so leading up, Leah helped us make a master sheet for coordinating day of and figuring out all the logistics ahead of time. We were able to take a couple days off before the wedding to get ready and relax prior to the event knowing we were well planned and in good hands.
The day of, Leah and her assistant Yoko made sure everything was going smoothly, working with vendors, setting up, making sure we eat dinner XD. They were involved in literally every aspect of the day and helping out family members. She even took us home in the evening! Truly we were so well taken care of the day was perfect in every aspect.

Such a big fan of Two Perfect Events. We found them on Yelp, and after evaluating a few different partial planning services, had a really good feeling about them given Leah's professional nature and the passion she has for delivering on beautiful wedding experiences. Since day one, they were so incredibly generous with their time; we know of no other partner that would willingly jump on hours of calls every single week in the months leading up to the wedding in order to patiently answer questions from me, my partner, family members, vendors and venues. Yoko was our main event planner, and called and sent such incredibly detailed communications to our vendors at all hours in order to ensure everything was seamless in accordance with all our requests - it really meant the world to us. She and Leah were so gracious and supportive throughout the entire planning process, which was undoubtedly not easy given the number of logistics required for a 140+ person wedding with two venues and constantly changing capacity constraints due to the pandemic.
They knew our wedding and all the details better than we did - we are still absolutely blown away by the 30-page timeline they put together for us! On the day of, we were also lucky to have the help of Christine as a bridal concierge and Leo as extra hands to keep the show running smoothly in supporting guest activities such as a petal throw. Additionally, TPE was so expert in anticipating any potential needs and in mitigating the risk of any hiccups. For example, we had a welcome sign that we had ordered months ago but still hadn't arrived, and they immediately brought a beautiful backup. Events that went long had no impact on the timeline because of the buffer they had expertly built in. They also materialized champagne, fashion emergency supplies, pre-plated food, and other items at just the right times, before we or our guests even knew we needed them. Several of the members of our bridal party and our guests mentioned how the wedding lacked any chaos and felt so smoothly orchestrated, and as a result, we truly got to enjoy it and will always remember it as one of the best days of our lives.
Every member of TPE we worked with was not just super responsive, but also genuinely kind and pleasant people. It was such a great value relative to what we invested, and we couldn't recommend them more highly.
My wife and I hired Two Perfect Events to help design and plan our ~150 person wedding in July 2021. Leah, Yoko, and Christine made that day even better than we could have imagined.
From the very start of the planning process, the team made a point to understand what our top priorities were, both for the wedding itself but also for how we'd like to work with them. We made it clear that timely communication was very important to us and they really took that to heart. Any time we reached out to them with questions or concerns, they were super on top of it. They also proactively reached out to us regularly with updates or to check in on our own progress. When they sent us an initial design proposal, we were blown away. They really managed to capture the essence of what we were looking for in our wedding. Then, they found multiple options for vendors in each category who could make the design a reality, and included information about prices for each. This made decision making a lot easier for us. During this phase and also after committing to a vendor, they handled all the communication which took a ton of weight off of us. As we got closer to the wedding date, Leah, Yoko, and Christine created a running to-do list for us of all the minor details we needed to resolve. This to-do list was a total lifesaver, and made what initially seemed like an overwhelming number of tasks seem much more manageable.
On the day of the wedding, my wife and I didn't have to worry about anything. Yoko was our main coordinator and it was honestly superhuman how well she handled the day. She dealt with unexpected situations quickly, kept important guests and vendors on time with our timeline, and overall just made sure the day went smoothly. Our coordinators made sure that we got to eat, that we always had a drink, and that we drank some water throughout the night too. We were able to just focus on enjoying an amazing night with the people we love the most, and for that I'm incredibly grateful.
Two Perfect Events is absolutely a great choice for any wedding design, planning, and coordination needs. I'm certain they would be a great choice for any other type of event as well. This is an overdue review, but I feel I should tell what happened to me when working with Leah last year. I came to Two Perfect Events in January 2020 after seeing all the five-star reviews and purchased the premium planning package worth $3710 for my wedding in August 2020. I put in $1,500 as a deposit right away. I also paid another $548 in May for my installment payment. Up till then, Leah and her team haven't started performing planning work. Then, due to the increasing severity of COVID, I had to cancel my event in August.
Since Leah didn't conduct any planning work, I asked if it was okay to cancel the event and got the money back. Leah rejected and suggested I reschedule the wedding instead. However, while Leah was offering a $500 discount to all new customers during COVID, she said she needed to charge me an additional $250 as a service fee if I wanted to reschedule.
I then asked if I could change my package to a more affordable one since my rescheduled wedding would be much smaller. Leah again rejected. She also asked me to pay the remaining installments right away despite that I planned to reschedule my wedding to late 2021.
I negotiated with Leah many times on either downgrading my package from premium to regular or postponing the rest of the payments to the next year until my wedding is closer. However, Leah insisted that I cannot change my package, must pay the additional service fee, and have to start the rest of the payments right away. In the end, I got exhausted and just gave up on rescheduling my wedding and left without asking my previous $2,000 back.
I understand that COVID is a difficult time for planning services, but this is a difficult time for everyone. I had a frustrating time negotiating with Leah, and I felt I should tell my story here to provide a fair picture for people who are considering Two Perfect Events because of all the five-star reviews, just like me last year.
It is awesome working with Leah! She is super organized, thorough, patient, and makes everything simple and easy to understand. She solved all of our problems and made our life so much easier.
We found Leah by googling top wedding planners in the Bay Area. We met with other wedding planners, but Leah was the kindest and the most accommodating to our needs. Other wedding planners were showing us what our wedding will look like and didn’t really ask us our input.
Leah prepared a wedding planning website for us that had a very thorough breakdown of each phase of the planning. We started with the design phase where we came up with our vision together using a shared Pinterest board. After that she was able to find venues and vendors that matched our vision. She took care of discussing the contract with the vendors, and we were only involved in discussing the design and vision. Each option was broken down by price and flexibility in the planning website for us to easily track. Once everything was chosen, we would discuss the big day with Leah to nail down the tiny details that made our ceremony special to us. She even periodically checked in on us to make sure our clothes, wedding party, and other responsibilities were handled.
Our wedding ceremony had a fall aesthetic in the middle of the redwoods in Woodside, California. We had a very small wedding (25) people that were separated by households due to the Covid pandemic. We postponed our reception to be after the pandemic has passed. Leah and her team were on site and took care of the setup, cleanup, and placement of everything and everyone for us. They also had an emergency bag that was very useful for our last minute needs.
One week before our ceremony, our first venue cancelled on us due to covid concerns. Leah spent the whole day trying to convince them that we are following county guidelines but they would not budge. She then reached out to quite a few venues that matched our vision and was able to find a new venue the very next day. We were then able to book it within two days. Even with the venue change, we were really happy with the new venue she found.
We are already working with her on our reception after the Covid pandemic has passed. We would recommend Leah to anyone!
Leah is OMG AMAZING!! I have been working with her on the from the beginning to end process and this whole wedding planning process has been extremely smooth. She is very organized, detailed and gets down to business! She has helped me on everything, from creating my timeline for my wedding, to coordinating with all my vendors (which she recommended to me), to getting in contact with the venue, the list goes on! I don't know what I would do without her! Leah and her team, Justin and Pam, were helping out on the day of and made sure things ran smoothly without any hiccups. Even though our venue had a venue coordinator, there were some things that weren't going the right way. That's when Leah and her team were able to pick it off and get things back on track without any notice! I HIGHLY recommend hiring Leah as you will not regret it and have a PERFECT wedding. Leah and her assistant Pam were incredible. We found them, after much searching, just mere weeks (like 2. really.) before our wedding ceremony, and they were responsive, asked good questions, made the traffic-crawling trek to the East Bay to meet in-person and walk the site, and were just generally good-natured, helpful, and thoughtful. Their ability to tackle and troubleshoot everything made them the perfect day-of coordinators, and without them, I honestly don't know how we would've pulled everything off.
Our wedding ceremony site was a bit remote and not at all a traditional venue for weddings. We also planned the whole wedding ourselves, which is 1) a recipe for utter insanity and 2) probably not what day-of wedding coordinators love, so lots was also still-in-progress and to-be-determined. Nonetheless, they went with the flow, tracked the roads and paths clearly, figured out all the nuances, and stayed calm as we navigated the final bits of wedding planning. We corresponded over email a handful of times; I handed over immense spreadsheets and details; Leah kept tabs on the vendors and coordinated with them to confirm arrivals and details; and they were flexible and generous.
Day-of, they arrived early, loaded up a crap-ton of stuff for setting up and decorating, and took off amidst Cal game traffic. They navigated our vendors (shuttle company and drivers, photographer, a delivery company, the park rangers) incredibly well, as they all had slightly different personalities and ways of working, and despite a packed day of setting up, it was beautiful. Leah was calm and composed when I made my way up the hill, and everything was gorgeous.
Everything was a little bit of a blur, but my guests marveled at their graciousness and generous champagne-pouring abilities (which they just tackled!), and every single time I thought of something, Leah was already working on it and/or approached me with a plan. If that's not trustworthy wedding coordination, I don't know what is.
Post-ceremony and breakdown, Leah and Pam also delivered all the stuff back to our house, neatly, carefully, and cleanly. Seriously awesome. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Oh my goodness.. where do I even begin..
First off - Leah is amaaaaazing! TPE was the first wedding coordinator that I met with when I was looking for a wedding planner and nothing compared to the services Leah had to offer. As a bride who stresses out really easily, we were so confident in her skills and knew right away that we had to have her for our wedding day. We signed with her about a little over a year out from our wedding day and although the services we contracted with her didn't fully start until 6 weeks out she would always check in on us to make sure things were going well and gave us helpful tips and recommendations along the way.
She was very organized and professional. I really appreciated that she was very responsive to all my emails and made me feel really comfortable in asking her for advice and questions.
Both J and I put off our timeline because we were really overwhelmed by it but once we got started, Leah took us to the finish line and I couldn't believe how quick and easy it was with her help. She was also super helpful in coordinating with the vendors that I got to spend most of my time taking care of other miscellaneous things.
On our wedding day, Leah ran our entire day so smoothly that I was not aware of anything that could've went wrong. Thank you so much Leah for everything!

Working with Leah and Two Perfect Events was wonderful! We were connected through one of my groomsmen, and it was one of the best investments we made during our wedding. They were so good - we recommended them to my sister who is getting married next spring! We got married in Palo Alto in 2017 with about 225+ guests. Leah and her team were amazing - they guided and understood our plan, and worked through the various bumps that happen on the day of (Our wedding arch got sent to the wrong address! In between the ceremony and the reception!). They were courteous, helped with vendors, helped us when we had done some impractical planning, and always made sure our wine glasses were full!
Overall - it was wonderful. Leah made sure we didn't have to stress on our wedding day - and we could truly enjoy it! Could not recommend them more - you should work with them!
We hired Leah and Two Perfect Events for our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made. Initially she helped us out with reviewing contracts and suggesting vendors when we didn't have a clue where to start especially with renting items like pipes and drapes and linens.
Throughout the months leading up to the event she kept us on track with various checklists, timelines, and other documents for managing our progress. She would also remind us of things we may not have thought about such as who would take home the leftover food, or where to put items after packing up. One month out, her level of involvement kicked into high gear and she took over all communication with the vendors that we had contracted and was on top of multiple email threads daily. I was going through a difficult scheduling situation with work and the amount of effort and time Leah saved me was invaluable.
On the day of, I appreciated Leah so much for all her preparation so that I could sit back and enjoy the day while she handled everything from making sure the vendors arrived on time, chairs/flowers/backdrop/etc were setup correctly, and that my bridesmaids and the groomsmen had everything they needed. Such as emergency tape!
I'm not even sure how she managed to do everything and still find time to grab me water and hors d'oeuvres. She also worked seamlessly with our venue, DJ, photographers, and other vendors throughout the day and then coordinated their meals as well. At the end of the night, everything had already been packed up and we could take off to our room while Leah waited for the last vendor to do teardowns/pickup.
Leah and her assistant were so helpful to the point that I had zero anxiety and more importantly, my mom was completely reassured by her professionalism and attention to detail. You're in good hands with Leah and Two Perfect Events!
I am a wedding photographer, and has worked couple times with Leah. I've worked with other planners before, but she is definitely a good one! Very thoughtful, easy communicated, and response very quickly. Also she is good at everything related to art with a wonderful taste. Having her, you will feel you have a friend to help you setup everything, not just a planner. Highly recommend!
I want to preface this review by saying that Leah is a long time great friend of mine – but if you could believe it, I am writing this review from a strictly non-biased standpoint as I would for all our other vendors!
Long-story-short: I could not recommend Leah and her team more. It will be 10/10 every time anybody asks me. Everything on our wedding day went as smooth as butter and the aesthetics and pacing both exceeded our expectation; we could not be any happier with what Leah and her team was able to achieve on/for our wedding day!
As two working professionals who did not quite have the luxury time and budget for extensive “wedding shopping”, my wife and I recognized that we needed help from a wedding planner. I (the groom) have always known Leah as a trusting and organized individual and immediately decided to reach out to her for help. Once we had her on-board as our wedding planner, boy, did it save us a bunch of time and headaches. Leah was able to provide us with a “X-DAY UNTIL YOUR BIG DAY” checklist and recommended us all types of local trusted vendors; we were able to just go down her list of recommendations and found the vendors within our budget/preference. This ranged from the food vendor, photographer, hairdresser, to our floral choices. Additionally, Leah was able to communicate with these vendors on our behalf on the day of the wedding where my wife nor I (nor our wedding party!) had to worry about a single thing besides enjoying ourselves!
On the wedding day, Leah and her team effortlessly transformed our wedding venue (Sanborn County Park) from a county picnic area to a rustic and warming wedding ground. As the groom who saw the transformation before and after with a gap of two hours tops, it was jaw dropping. I could not believe the work Leah and her team had done the moment I walked into the wedding venue as the groom.
I won’t have to repeat all the praises that other reviewers have said on this platform (they are all true) – But if there is one take away you could get from my review, I want to say just that, as a groom, your wedding day is extremely nerve wrecking leading up to your big “say yes” moment, and once that is over it could still be stressful from making sure all your family and friends are having a great time. On top of the joy of having just gotten married to the love of your life, it really is a mix bag of emotions and the most helpful thing really is having a responsible and thoughtful individual(s) who could take care of everything for you – and Leah and her Two Perfect Events team did just that. It was the smallest things they did that comforted us – they made sure our table settings were done marvelously, they made sure my wife’s wedding dresses was stretched perfectly when walking down the aisle, they made sure the boutonniere on my groomsmen were angled nicely and etc. Just knowing that there is a more-than-capable team watching out for you truly allowed my wife and I to enjoy our big day. Among our family and friends, I have only heard praise and enjoyment of our wedding and I attribute that to the help of Leah and TPE.
This is a VERY overdue review for Two Perfect Events! My husband Geo and I got married on September 28, 2018 and we hired Leah as our day-of coordinator. Having Leah at our wedding was one of the main reasons why our wedding was the best day of our lives. :) Geo and I planned the majority of our wedding details, while Leah meticulously put the pieces together on the master timeline. She connected with us several months in advance to go over all of our vendors, the day’s schedule, and any details that we might have missed. It is not easy to plan a wedding, but Leah makes it look effortless and streamlines everything to make sure it is less stressful as much as possible for everyone involved. We appreciated how she quickly responded to all of our questions, provided suggestions that never felt like she was trying to “take over” the wedding, being attentive to all of the details, and her calm, professional attitude during a stressful time. The day of the wedding was a blur, but there were moments with Leah that we would never forget. In the morning, Leah stopped by our hotel while my bridal party and I were getting ready just to say hi and wish warm greetings with a small gift. It was such a sweet, personal gesture because a) she did not have to do this, b) she wasn't hired prior to the start of the ceremony, and c) she knew ahead of time that she will be super busy all day and would not have the time to drop off her gift. Another pivotal moment occurred right after our ceremony. Our catering team was passing out hors d’oeuvres to everyone and I scarfed down some egg rolls with chili sauce because I was starving at this point. Unfortunately, some of the sauce stains my dress in the cleavage area right before our photos. I started to panic and before realizing what was happening, Leah appeared by my side with some chalk from her emergency kit. She immediately applied the chalk to my dress and the stain was lifted, making it no longer noticeable. Leah saved my dress and the day! Another moment occurred while cleaning up the wedding. We had a huge floral gazebo at our ceremony and we were not planning to take any of the flowers back to the hotel. Once we arrived at our hotel room, there was a HUGE pile of the leaves and flowers from the gazebo. We wanted our guests to take home the flowers themselves. Apparently, my mother told her to take care of ALL of the flowers and they needed to be brought back to the hotel so they could be donated to my grandmother’s grave. This was not part of our cleanup plan, but Leah and her assistant Pam kindly took initiative to coordinate this large task after a super long day and to bring these flowers straight to our room. Having Leah and Pam work behind the scenes was extremely helpful and one of the best decisions we had made for our wedding. I know firsthand their jobs are not easy, but they made sure the day ran as smooth as possible from start to finish. They allowed Geo and I to be stress-free and to enjoy the fruits of our labor. If you’re looking for an experienced and organized event coordinator for your wedding or special event, you cannot go wrong with hiring Leah and her TPE team to make your vision come true. Leah was a real life saver when we got married. We had planned a very small wedding and we thought we had figured it out, but just to make sure we asked for her help. She came in at the last minute and helped us manage so many small details we had missed. She handled our timeline beautifully, helped us with decorating, with the pictures, with communicating with the guests. She just thought of everything and it was a breath of fresh air to have someone so competent and reliable. We are actually planning on having a vow-renewal ceremony at some point in the future, and this time we won't wait until the last minute to ask for her services! I recommend her 100% for any event you want to plan. She has such a good eye and will think of all the details you might forget. Like I said, she was a life saver and I am grateful she was able to help on such short notice.

Hiring Leah was the most important decision we made towards having a fun and enjoyable wedding planning process! Leah was indispensable throughout our short 6 months engagement and on the day of the wedding. We were able to relax, cherish the time with our guests and relish in the day's excitement because Leah inspired the utmost confidence. Having visited the venue beforehand with us, coordinated with all of our vendors, and closely advised us in building our wedding day itinerary, she was so familiar with all the details and took initiative to ensure everything went smoothly.
We contacted Leah weeks after getting engaged, knowing we wanted a short engagement. We were overwhelmed and didn't know where to start. Leah was excellent at helping us focus, get organized, outline priorities and timelines, determine our vision, and identify venues and vendors within our budget.
During the planning period, we were busy with work and business travels. We greatly appreciated Leah's flexibility. She was available via text for quick questions, sent updates and checklists via email to keep us on task. She sensitively reassured us during times of panic, and let us know at what points we should schedule time to meet by phone or in person. I'm sure we were like "herding cats" at times, but her communication was always patient, kind and encouraging.
On the day of the wedding, the day that REALLY matters, Leah far exceeded our expectations!
She and her team worked seamlessly in the background and kept a close eye on the staff, so much so that she noticed our caterer forgot a menu item and to our great surprise, she negotiated a credit on our behalf. In addition, she held our staffing vendor accountable for a server getting drunk and having to be sent home after dropping a tray of food. Then, Leah and her team quietly picked up the slack of the drunk/short-handed staffing company to packing up our cars at the end of the night. And the best part? We were meanwhile blissfully dancing our hearts out, completely oblivious to what was going on!
Throughout the dancing, Leah also found time to ask what we wanted to drink and brought it to us on the dance floor, so we didn't have to stop our celebration.
The day after the wedding, when we were reminiscing, wishing we had hired a videographer, Leah further surprised us by sending videos she'd taken on her phone of the most important moments (speeches and first dances). It was a wonderful, unexpected surprised that allows us to now relive our favorite moments. A priceless gift!

My wife and I wholeheartedly recommend Leah and her team at Two Perfect Events for any occasion! They were instrumental in helping us hold two fantastic and complex events for us over the last two years.
The first was my 50th Birthday party with about 150 guests that was held at a local winery in Woodside. Two Perfect Events drove everything from site selection, vendor management, themes, etc. One thing that stands out was that we had a special request for a live jazz band who could back my daughter’s vocals at the last minute. Leah got us a custom jazz combo who played the music we liked, accommodated sound requirements by the winery, and met our need for an ad hoc performance,
The second event was the South Indian Classical Vocal debut of our daughter. This was quite a complex event that required coordination from the music skill with about 50 volunteers, relatives traveling from around the country, and numerous special requirements. Two perfect events was responsible for the banquet logistics and decorations. They not only did a phenomenal job of designing and executing to a theme. But, above and beyond that they sourced a South Indian party vendor who supplied traditional flowers and art work. This was unexpected and above and beyond the call of duty. This is just one example of their ability to adapt to new and different circumstances and highlights how they can work in a variety of settings with a variety of people.

We hired Sees as our day of coordinator and she did an amazing job! She took care of everything so we were actually able to enjoy our wedding day. In addition to seamless coordination, Sees made us feel comfortable with all of our wedding choices, even if they were less traditional. She provided vendor suggestions and kept us on track! Leah and her team are amazing. Leah was our day-of-coordinator for our wedding. It was easily the best decision we made. Our wedding had many moving parts as we were doing a traditional Indian ceremony at a venue far from a hotel with transit management and outfit changes galore, and Leah managed everything with a calmness and grace that made our wedding day (and the month leading up to it) so easy. She sent us reminders when we needed them, encouragement when things didn’t go right, and so many solutions to random problems. We asked her questions literally every day in the weeks leading up to the wedding and she came through in a magical way. I could not have asked for a better coordinator/planner and recommend her HIGHLY if you want to be stress free on your wedding day!
My wife and I hired Leah at Two Perfect Events to be our wedding planner and assist with the wedding coordination for the big day. Without Leah and her team, I can honestly say that the wedding of our dreams may not have happened. We had a very specific theme and vibe we wanted and Leah was very patient with us throughout the entire 1 year process. As you will see in the pictures, my wife and I are huge nerds as we play a lot of games, watch anime and read a lot of manga. We wanted our special day to reflect these interests and we are so grateful to Leah that even though this is a very unusual theme, she spent a lot of time helping us formulate what we wanted and generate awesome ideas!! Since we've never been married before, this type of planning was completely foreign to us. We started off with a consultation and Leah explained to us the process and walked us through the guidelines she created to plan the wedding with as little stress as possible. What was also really helpful was her recommendations for vendors and that also came with additional discounts.
Since we rented a facility (eSports Arena) that has never done a wedding before, everything had to be managed on our own for the most part. I was nervous about this but Leah and her team made this extremely easy and helped answer and guide us through the ambiguity. In addition, she also inserted recommendations with no pressure on areas from logistics, to design, to activities and most importantly her experience with the timelines for the big day was a huge help. Leah has an extremely effective method on how to manage the planning as well as how to carry that over to the execution for the big day and we felt like we could actually enjoy the wedding planning and day despite the number of things going on.
Having said all of these things, the thing that really stood out the most was the genuine care and excitement given to our wedding event. Leah and her team were there to help us with anything at all and even in some cases, they were almost like our personally executive assistant reminding us that these things need to be done by this deadline. When we fell behind, without any complaints, they would create a revised calendar/to-do list and we really appreciated this from them. When we were stressed, they would even reach out to see how we were doing mentally and emotionally. They always went above and beyond and even did things for us that were outside of our agreement/package.
What we loved was that Leah was extremely friendly and always available for questions or any help at all. She is extremely flexible and we spoke on the phone numerous times, met in-person and video chatted about the wedding details. We cannot recommend Two Perfect Events enough!
