Hiring Anne was hands down the best decision we made during wedding planning! Anne was amazing during the entire process. All of the vendors she suggested exceeded our expectations and made the event unforgettable. She helped ensure we were on track with everything and facilitated the different vendor meetings. Not only was she very organized but she is also an incredibly nice person and made sure everything went off without hitch.

The ladies at Tying the Knot are absolutely the best wedding planners! I was a wedding coordinator for 7 years at a hotel and worked with them frequently. They were always a dream to work with, and I knew that when my daughters got married I would hire them because their weddings are always amazing! My oldest daughter got married this past June and I got to experience the care and attention that they extend to their clients first hand. I cannot say enough about how amazing Christine, Anne, and Brooke are! They took the time to find my daughter and son-in-law's vision for the wedding and just ran with it! Everything was exquisite and blew me away. Having them with us on the day of the wedding was amazing. Everything was absolutely perfect, and if there were any behind the scenes problems we never knew about it. They are beyond wonderful! Thank you thank you thank you! When my other daughter gets married I will definitely hire you again. You are the best!

Hiring Anne & the Tying the Knot team was the best decision I made. It's been a couple weeks since the wedding and I am still telling everyone how amazing Anne was through the whole planning process & the wedding day! She is organized, gives great suggestions and is worth every penny. We had a couple small issues throughout the wedding day and Anne solved all of them in seconds and kept us on schedule. I could go on and on about her, so if you're looking for a wedding coordinator you definitely should hire her!

My mother is an event coordinator in the Chicago area, and as soon as we got engaged she knew she wanted us to work with Tying the Knot while we planned our wedding. We were living in Hawaii during the planning, and Anne worked with us through crazy time differences and work schedules, limited trips home, and everything in between! She was so kind and fun to work with, and we are so incredibly appreciative of all of the hard work she put into helping make our wedding what it was. It was the greatest day ever, and Anne was there to support every single thing! I was so worried that my mom would be stressed during the day during set-up, and Anne managed to take care of everything without any of us ever noticing! THANK YOU ANNE, you are the absolute best!

We had the great pleasure of working with Anne Malcolm at Tying the Knot in planning our wedding at the London House in Chicago. Anne is extremely organized and made the wedding planning fun. We always looked forward to our meetings with her! She had great ideas, was candid with us at all times, and had all the answers (and we had a lot of questions!) We ordered the wedding invitations through Anne and they were beautiful. She works with terrific vendors – every single one of her recommendations was outstanding – flowers, hair, makeup, and the officiant! She did a great job at coordinating all of our vendors (even those we had selected before we retained Tying the Knot) and we went into the wedding weekend knowing that all would go smoothly. It was better than that, though. Thanks to Anne, everything was perfect.

Anne was amazing! She made our wedding day stress free so that we could focus on enjoying our big day. We couldn't have asked for a better day of coordinator. She met with us several times before hand to make sure everything was perfect. Thanks Anne!!!!

Wedding: July 8 , 2017 at Geneva National in Lake Geneva, WI I am not at all surprised that every review is 5 stars on here! Tying the knot went above and beyond in every category. First of all Anne and Christine and the nicest people you will ever meet and they are truly dedicated to making you wedding day (and planning) the best it can be. Anne was my primary planner and she was involved 100% the whole process. She toured every venue with me and knew the best questions to ask. She went to the bakery with my mom because I wasn't able to go. She went to every meeting at the flower/decor shop. She went to the venue tasting and took notes even though she wasn't tasting any of it. Then she reminded me later what I liked and didn't like when we were trying to decide on the menu. At each of these meetings, she not only took notes, she also asked very good questions of the vendors and was able to find ways to save us money in some areas. What's even better about this company is that they are on top of communication with vendors, lists, timeline, everything! Planning a wedding is stressful but I can't imagine how much worse it would have been without them. For example, Anne designed my save the date, the ceremony program, table cards, pretty much all the stationary. She researched places for the rehearsal dinner and the salon in Lake Geneva and found great places for both. And on the day of the wedding, she and the floral company decorated the ceremony site, cocktail hour site, and the ballroom for the reception . They all turned out stunning! She did favor and favor for me and the wedding party. She got new eye contacts for the best man, she got snacks for a few of the bridesmaids who didn’t eat enough, she put together all of the gifts for the guests at the reception. I could go on and on. It was like having a personal assistant who was the nicest, smartest, most efficient person ever. For anyone hesitating about hiring a wedding coordinator, do not hesitate for Anne or Christine. I would have paid for them over photography at my wedding, that’s how much I valued them.

This group is amazing!! Anne is a dream come true for any bride. She’s so on point and organized. Far better than what she charges. I could not have done this without her. She has great contacts and will help facilitate booking various vendors without fail!! She also took total control of the reception. She worked tirelessly for hours to make my wedding spectacular. I never had to think about anything except my guests and my new husband! Awesome!!

We cannot say enough great things about Anne! She was so great to work with leading up to the wedding and especially the day of!! She was so calm and sweet and had the perfect energy needed for any type of bride! She was even on her hands and knees helping to clean the bottom of my dress when it got muddy after our outdoor ceremony. If you are questioning if it is worth the money, the answer is yes!! I'd recommend her to anyone 😊

Hiring Tying the Knot for day-of coordination was the best use of our wedding budget! Brooke served as our day-of wedding coordinator and was accessible immediately after we first met to answer any of our logistical questions in the final months of wedding planning. My husband and I initially did not think we needed a wedding planner, but after our first meeting with Brooke, we knew that she would be the most helpful resource we had for the wedding, especially because our venue coordinator was non-responsive at times. At our first meeting, she discussed all of the major tasks to concentrate on, many of which we would have never thought of had we not hired Tying the Knot. Brooke and her assistant Jamie worked the wedding and hustled for 10 hours to make sure everything went smoothly. Tying the Knot's day-off coordination included everything from running the rehearsal the day before when our officiant canceled, to tackling the difficult final count conversations with our venue coordinator, to quickly deploying the emergency kit to clean us up after a messy exit toss. If you are inexperienced with wedding planning and on the fence about a hiring a day-of coordinator, go with Tying the Knot-- your stress level will be much lower and you will not regret it.

We worked with Brooke Righeimer of Tying the Knot and hired her for day-of coordination service. SHe was sweet, helpful, knowledgeable, patient, and pleasant, and we trusted her completely to make sure our big day ran smoothly which she followed through on all the way!

Being an out-of-town bride, I knew that I needed a wedding consultant to keep myself organized and stres-free. As it turned out, Tying the Knot was recommended to me and I couldn't have been more lucky. I purchased the most basic package and it was just what I needed. After my first meeting with Brooke, I immediately felt relieved after my first meeting (you could actually tell in my face how relieved I was). Brooke (actual wedding consultant) reviewed my contracts, made recommendations for vendors, answered all of my emails/phone calls, was able to direct my crazy bridal party during the rehearsal and made sure everyting was perfect at the wedding (if something did go wrong - I didn't know about it). I would recommend Tying the Knot to any bride - they were wonderful to work.

Hiring Brooke and her team from Tying the Knot was the best money we spent for our wedding. We hired Brooke for "day of" wedding services, which included speaking with all of our vendors, creating a wedding timeline, attending the wedding rehearsal and coordinating everything the day of our wedding. I knew I would be very involved with choosing all of our vendors and doing all of the planning so this was the perfect amount of help for our situation. We also got an hour of her time to use how we wanted and we chose to use it by having her attend our final meeting with our caterer. She asked the perfect questions! Brooke ensured all of our vendors knew their responsibilities and where / when to show up. She helped me coordinate things like who needed parking, who required a hot meal, etc. to ensure I didn't miss anything with all of the contracts. She helped coordinate our rehearsal at the actual church (not the dinner) and she spent the day of with my bridesmaids and me making sure we were on time to everything. While we did pictures around the city, she went to our reception venue to ensure everything was set up correctly. The few (tiny) issues that did come up on the actual wedding day she handled without even getting us involved. It was perfect! My parents were skeptical about having someone help us because they thought they could do everything I needed the day of the wedding, but I wanted everyone to be able to relax and have fun without worrying about all the details. Brooke totally won them over and they agreed afterwards that it was money well spent. We would absolutely recommend her to any of our friends!

If I could I would give tying the knot 10 stars. Brooke the wedding planner made my wedding not only amazing but unforgettable. If you want a wedding that others will be talking about for years than you should use Tying the knot. It was the best choice I made for my wedding. Brooke went above and beyond for me and my husband. If you want a stress free wedding than you should use tying the knot.

I have never seen the use of a wedding planner until my sister used one. Brooke and Christine from Tying the Knot are the BEST in the business! Brooke worked with both my sister and I and Christine worked with my sister the day of. They literally think of everything for you, know the guidelines and procedures for everything, and are at your beck and call for any question or concern. Not only do they help you through every step of your wedding and know the best and most affordable vendors, they serve as therapists through the whole process. My wedding went FLAWLESSLY and that would not have happened without Brooke. It's worth the little extra money.... if not full services, day of services are so affordable and SO necessary!
