d got rock instead. I am so disappointed. It took away from the entire vibe I worked a year and a half to plan. Our DJ also kept coming up to us asking what was next and “double checking” things while we were at our sweetheart table trying to eat dinner. Overall, I’m very disappointed in Ultimate Entertainment. For what we paid we should have at least had the songs we picked out played. We even had a meeting with them a few days before to go over every detail, so there is no excuse. It’s a moment I cannot get back.

blanks and pick songs. My original DJ with Ultimate Entertainment tested positive for covid 2 days before my wedding and so Andrew was then assigned to be my DJ. He texted me to set up a call right away to make sure he knew exactly what I wanted or didn't want. He was super nice and checked on me multiple times throughout the night to see if I needed anything and to make sure I was enjoying my night. Andrew did an amazing job! 10 out of 10 recommend!

some, but none of that really mattered when we didn’t get to plan with the actual DJ who would be at our wedding. We had never met or talked to Tyler prior to arriving at the reception, and I didn’t want to spend time communicating things during the reception. Our first dance song started at the last verse, which was a big disappointment for us. Tyler was very apologetic and did play it again for us though. Tyler worked hard to play all of our requested songs and keep the dance going throughout the night. The lack of planning with our assigned DJ and the first dance song goof up left us disappointed in our DJ choice.

My only regret is that I didn't utilize the website enough as far as picking out songs I wanted at the wedding. I had to walk up to the DJ who was amazing and would play any song I requested. So it really wasn't a huge deal breaker. I would recommend them for anyone getting married in the Galena area!

I thought the online platform was fairly easy to navigate and helped with planning as everything was in one place and easy to work through. Was the dinner or cocktail music appropriate for you? Yes it was! The music throughout the whole night fit the vibe of the situation and helped to keep the night moving and keep people entertained in between events and such. Was Corey Hess friendly? Absolutely! He was super approachable, polite, professional, and easy to get along with. He even came up to my wife at times in the night when she was taking a break to make sure she was doing alright which she really appreciated! Was Corey Hess professional? Absolutely! We had no complaints about him throughout the entire night and thought he did a wonderful job. He was upbeat and fun throughout the night and a little more stern when people weren't listening at the end of the night when we were kicking people out for our private last dance. We couldn't have asked for anyone better! Did Corey Hess play requests? I believe so. We were so caught up with the day and seeing everyone that I am not sure how many requests were given, but I do know of one that was a brand new song one of our friends requested and I specifically remember hearing during the night. Did Corey Hess contact you or your spouse before the big day? I believe he did. We may have not responded to him as the last few weeks have gone so fast and been so busy but everything was in order for the day of! What did you like the most about your reception? Corey's way of catering to the crowd. I personally would hope on and off the dance floor but everytime I was on it, the music fit the mood and lots of our friends were dancing along with me. The snowball dance was also a great way to start the dancing for the night! We didn't quite realize how it would work, but when Corey put it on, we understood right away and it really helped to kick start the rest of the night. The dinner and cocktail music was perfect! Mike knew exactly what we wanted and needed! Mike was EVERYTHING a DJ could be! He was friendly, social, sweet and just over all amazing! He always asked if we needed anything kept us updated with how everything was going and made sure everyone had so much fun! He truly knows how to work a crowd! Mike was our DJ. They are true professionals and I am so thankful to have had them be a part of our wedding day. Having Mike DJ our wedding was an absolute pleasure. From the beginning, he was in regular contact with me, helping me choose songs, come up with ideas, and getting to know me so that he could cater the day to my every want or need. I struggled with choosing songs for certain parts of the day and he gave me a bunch of ideas to listen to and choose from. He also helped me come up with the idea to give my parents their first dance because they never had one at their own wedding. On the day of the event he checked in with me regularly to make sure I was happy with the music selection, the order of events, and just everything going on throughout the day. He made me feel so comfortable and confident that everything was taken care of. We had an absolute blast throughout the day. The music he played was perfect, my guests loved talking to him, and he made sure to play everyone's requests. There was one thing he did though that truly went above and beyond to make the day so special. I had set up a video guest book for guests to record a message for us. During the reception, I checked the camera and saw that nobody had recorded us a video. I was very sad about this and went to Mike and asked if he could make an announcement asking people to use the video guest book and record us a video. Instead of simply making an announcement, he brought the camera around to every single table and helped people start and stop the recording. I had no idea he did this until I went home and watched the recordings and saw that he was giving the camera to each table and heard him in the background talking to someone about which tables had gone and which tables still needed the camera. This meant so much to me, I cannot even express how grateful I am to him for doing that. These are videos that I will cherish forever and I have them because Mike took the initiative to make sure that everyone at the wedding did one. Mike did so much more than just play music. He made the day run so smoothly and made it such a special day for us.

My husband and I are a what you would say an older couple (43 yrs old); so we had an older crowd with a few kids. (Maybe 10 total kids present). He made everyone fit in. The kids loved the music; the adults and elders loved the music. I had several people ask me about him; cause they enjoyed the music. Our reception ended up ending early by 45 minutes; since crowd was dying out. (NO FAULT TO DJ) as I said we had an older crowd and a quite a few farmers too in the crowd. Being harvest season. I would totally get them again. My sister’s surprised me with a slideshow with the song I was gonna use for a dance (Fathers and Daughters by Michael Bolton) in remembrance of my dad that died 3 months ago) and Rodger was able to adapt quickly and smoothly to find another perfect song for my dance with my brother-in-laws.

I had with Sean, I trusted that they were going to make my wedding day amazing. Their online portal was extremely helpful and made planning a lot less stressful. They both were extremely professional and followed through on each request that we had. Holly was amazing. She made the reception flow perfectly and kept the energy going even when people started to leave. We couldn't say enough great things about Ultimate Entertainment.

Also they had on their website a playlist option that you could put the songs you absolutely wanted played as well as a playlist of songs you ca pick you do not want played. I loved this! The lighting ended up being perfect. picking songs, putting songs on a do not playlist, etc., was excellent. They checked in and made sure we were on track the whole way. We did not think they would be able to get the song that we wanted for our first dance, but they were able to find it, and it made our first dance that much more special. We received so many compliments on the DJ and how well he MCed the entire event. He even asked how much we wanted them to follow our online selections and requested permission to play songs on our do not playlist. I am now totally team DJ and not team playlist. Ultimate Entertainment (especially Tim) will definitely deliver if you require a DJ for any event.

wedding. We ended up going with 8 hours DJ time and 4 hours photobooth time. Our DJ Corey was absolutely amazing! He met with us before the ceremony on the day of to go over all the stuff we planned on the website forms they provided us. Corey communicated with us the entire time throughout the night making sure that things were moving through on time and without a hitch. Natalie our photobooth operator was wonderful as well! She helped get all of it setup and kept it running! We got a flash drive at the end of the night with all the pictures taken in the photobooth and it is absolutely a great memory holder we will cherish. Sean is lucky to have both Corey and Natalie working for him and I recommend anyone who books with Ultimate Entertainment to ask for Corey and Natalie specifically because they are wonderful!

The whole planning process with Sean was easy and straight forward. Sean was eager to answer any of my questions, and make sure our night had everything we wanted. When it came to the dinner and cocktail music, which I was not there for the cocktail music, all I heard was just praise about how the music was. During the night, when the younger crowd took over the dance floor, Corey played every single song that was requested and also prioritized the requests that my husband and I had made. Corey did such a wonderful job. He was very energetic, organized, helpful, and fun to have around. He helped make the reception flow and handled any request made. I was blown away by how smooth Corey made things. Before all the major events like the grand entrance, father/ daughter, mother/son, garter toss, and bouquet toss, he would double-check the songs we had wanted before they were played. The music was at a perfect volume. I also loved that Corey even danced with us during the Cupid Shuffle! During the planning process Sean, the owner, was super helpful and supportive. He helped me with all my questions and always got back to me in a very timely manner. The program that they use to help you plan your event was very user-friendly and super simple to understand.
