pared to how professional, personal, and kind as Terri and her family. I know I wanted to support a local business, so my father-in-law and I drove to their location and met in person. We were able to do a taste test of everything they had to offer, and let me tell you, every single item was delicious! They also offered add-on services which made it easier to have everything I needed in one vendor. They worked well within my budget and the communication was SPOT ON. I never had to worry about a single thing with them, and since wedding planning is stressful to begin with, that just solidified that I made the perfect choice when choosing them. My wedding guests RAVED about the food for weeks on end after my wedding. I think my favorite part, without even asking, was that the team made 2 large to-go plates for my husband and I to have whenever we wanted it. After the reception died down and we were in our room, that food was a GOD SEND! I would recommend Uncle Bob's BBQ to anyone and everyone. They are such kind, caring, and compassionate people and it shows from their professionalism & their yummy food! If I could, I'd give them 10 stars for how satisfied we were with them.

someone brings it up, cause they still do a year later lol We did a tasting and decided what we wanted, a worker filled out the form and submitted it. We just got invoices and that's it no other real confirmation on anything even when I asked a few times. But on our wedding day we were served our meats and mac and cheese AND mashed potatoes. We did not even try the mashed potatoes and requested green beans. I do not like potatoes and we are super veggie people so this kind of sucked, we got a lot of comments on it from our guests too and when we said that wasnt what we ordered they said "oh that makes more sense we thought it was super weird" lol like great. When I reached out to them after the wedding their response was "oh someone circled green onions instead of green beans so we assumed that meant the mashed potatoes because they have green onions in them" ????? I asked why they did not clarify with me before making an assumption and how I was upset and why they would think we would want two starches and no veggies and their response was "some people do that" no apologies, no how can we make it up to you? Just no regard at all. Gave them two stars because food was good and people said the potatoes were great, even if it was not what we ordered.

as communicated morning of our wedding. Uncle Bob’s 100% supported us, showed up regardless, arranged set up differently on the fly so it fit our situation and fed our wedding party of about 45. Everyone was talking to me the week after our wedding about how awesome the food was. Many of my relatives are from CT and they felt like they got a real BBQ experience! We loved we had leftovers too! Thank you!!! We love working with you guys!!!! Y’all are the best!

appreciated the care they took in understanding the venue's allowances. The food was delicious and the team they brought with them to help serve and bus tables did their job efficiently and were all so nice! In the wedding industry it is important to view your vendors as one big team to help your wedding day go the way you expected. Terri and Kelly will work through trying situations to see your day goes as it should! I would gladly work with this team again and highly recommend them to anyone!

I’ve ever had at a wedding!!! EVERYTHING served was absolutely fantastic… and the presentation of it all was so nicely done. Everyone sitting at my table went on and on about how good the food was, and they ate every bit of it!!! I also want to comment on how hardworking and kind the staff with Uncle Bobs was. They ALWAYS had a smile on their faces and were SO polite! They had that whole place looking so good after dinner that it was such an easy transition into our night of dancing and enjoying our time with friends and family. I would recommend to anyone looking for a five star caterer with phenomenal service to go with Uncle Bobs BBQ. They will leave a lasting impression that you will always be thankful for❤️

She was a joy to work with throughout the entire process. She was a wealth of knowledge in the planning process, very quick to respond to our many questions along the way and always friendly and professional. The FOOD?!!! GOODNESS GRACIOUS PEOPLE! DELICIOUS!!! I cannot tell you how many of our guests made it a point to comment on the food throughout the evening. We even received text messages the following day with compliments AND requests to know who the caterer was that evening! We hired the staff to do Cake Cutting as well. Each person working our event was friendly, welcoming to our guests and very efficient in their service and clean-up of the table service. I HIGHLY recommend Uncle Bobs for your next event!!!

hey felt comfortable in the space. We had a few last minute changes, such as a private dinner for the couple, 20 minutes before dinner service, and they didn't bat an eye when I told them, they just made it happen. The bussers were consistently making rounds and picking up. The food was incredible, buffet line went fast, and they made sure to communicate with me the day of the event. If I had them on another wedding, I wouldn't be concerned about the catering side!

We received so many compliments about the food. They did an exceptional job making sure the buffet ran smoothly, bussing the tables, and being adherent to precautions for COVID. Overall, the food was outstanding and they definitely know what they're doing in regards to the service/wedding industry. They are absolute pros. Would highly recommend to any brides wanting great service, great food, and staying in budget!!

We opted to have dinner served buffet style with brisket, chicken and sausage with a few sides and all the fixin’s – our out of town guests definitely loved having the opportunity to have some good Texas BBQ! Uncle Bob’s also put out a beautiful spread of fruit and cheese for our cocktail hour at a very reasonable price. We were so happy with the food and service provided – thank you Terri and the Uncle Bob’s team for a delicious meal!

rt with the food, since that’s what most people reading the reviews are here for. The brisket was dry and tasteless. The chicken was inedible. After waiting hours for the buffet to open, we were starving. But the bbq was so bad all I could force down were the mashed potatoes and a roll. It was so embarrassing to serve this as “Texas BBQ” to our out of town guests. We literally went out for real bbq the next day to make up for it. The only thing worse than the dry meat was the terrible service. The wedding was running an hour and a half behind and there were a lot of children in attendance. It was past 8PM and all they had eaten were cheese and crackers. Kids were whining and crying - things were deteriorating. When we talked to the wedding planner about allowing the children and our elderly grandparents (my grandmother has dementia and needed to leave) to eat, she said absolutely and told us to grab our plates and head to the buffet. That’s when the catering manager jumped in and said absolutely not because it would be inappropriate and goes against what the bride requested. First of all, the Bride said from the get-go: grandparents and children eat first. Second of all, the whole point of a wedding planner is to be the voice of the bride while she enjoys her special day. The planner speaks for the bride so she doesn’t have to stop what she’s doing to stay on top of vendors. The fact that the caterer refused to take direction from the planner is incredibly unprofessional and inappropriate. The catering manager ripped tongs out of my husband’s hands and started slamming down lids on trays, causing a scene and making my baby - the flower girl - cry. The ring bearer had to go home hungry and crying because they couldn’t take it anymore. Other guests left early as well. 5 minutes after this scene, they opened the buffet. 5 minutes??? That was a power trip if I’ve ever seen one. When the bride found out how her family was treated the next day, she was furious. So beware brides. If you want embarrassingly bad food and unprofessional service, this is the caterer for you!

pany I have ever come across. The wedding was running an hour and a half late approaching 8:30 pm. The flower girl and ring bearer are toddlers and had nothing to eat and were up later past their bed time. We begged the caterers to feed the kids twice and were told no although the food was ready to be served. They had to wait for the bride to say the ok. So we spoke to the wedding planner who told them that it was ok to serve the kids. Again, we were told “no” and were told they could eat a cold roll or some spinach. (Really?!) The father of the other toddler was so frustrated he started to get some food for her because she was close to tears. At this point, one of the catering team actually yanked the tongs out of his hands and slammed down the lid of the serving dish on him which scared the two year old and caused her to cry, creating an even bigger scene. I have never in my life seen anything as unprofessional as that moment. I ended up having to send my three year old home screaming and crying due to hunger. I had some choice words for the caterer because what parent would ever want to see their kid denied food in such an aggressive way? 5 minutes later they opened up the line for food. They couldn’t have served a 2 and 3 yr old food 5 minutes ahead of time? We were made to feel humiliated and like criminals for begging for food for a couple of toddlers. When the other wedding guests found out how were treated, they were as angry as we were! To top it off, the next day, the bride told me she told the caterers it was ok to serve kids first. She was livid. So the lesson here is, if you’re going to a wedding that’s being catered by these people, make sure you pack food for your children so you don’t feel the humiliation that we did for having hungry kids.

I had many guests complain about rude service and feeling unwelcomed by the catering company. On our wedding day we hope everything would have gone well. We were behind schedule and wanted to have my grandparents and small children in our families eat first because it was approaching near 8:30 PM without food. This was discussed previously with the caterer as my grandparents are sickly and I made sure to let them know that they would need to be served first in order to leave earlier. If there was miscommunication then it was clearly shown with what happened. However, what I do not understand is that I gave the okay to our wedding planner to move forward with serving them and yet they were denied on the premise that the bride has to give the okay. Am I supposed to make a personal appearance at the catering buffet and let them know as I am taking photos and proceeding with the whole day? That is what the wedding planner is for. Unfortunately, the children and grandparents were denied food and were made to go home without anything in their stomachs. My cousin was trying to make a plate of food for his daughter and had the tongs grabbed out of his hands. The children started crying during out traditional ceremony and that was a huge distraction. I was more worried about what was happening behind the scenes then concentrating on what was supposed to be an amazing moment. That is incredibly inappropriate. It is incredibly heartbreaking and I would never have wanted that for my family. I wish I had known that before I booked as it would have saved embarrassment and a feeling of shame for having my guests treated so poorly.
