Uncle Bub's was with us every step of the way through the planning process! We had the joy of working with Briana and Kristin at our meetings and tastings and they were absolutely amazing at reassuring my choices and offering their advice as they are experts in the field. They made everything seem so stress free and I highly recommend Uncle Bub's. The food was so delicious and all my guests stated that "weddings that serve bbq are top tier" and I would have to agree! 10/10

We worked with Uncle Bubs for our wedding and it was amazing! The staff was amazing and so easy to work with! The food was delicious, and weeks after the wedding people are still talking about how amazing the food was! It's definitely the best brisket in Illinois, my hubby would not stop raving about it!

We worked with Uncle Bubs as our caterer for our 10/7/2023 wedding and just could not recommend them enough. We worked with several members of their marketing team including Cinnamon and Briana- both who made the process so seamless and easy. From the moment we stopped in to inquire about them being our caterer to the wedding day they were full of professionalism and obviously incredible food! The day of the wedding we catered pulled pork, herbed chicken, au gratin potatoes, baked beans, green bean almondine etc. and EVERYONE was raving about our food! Beyond the food being delicious, the entire team just went above and beyond and they were so easy to work with. I would highly recommend them for your catering needs- especially if you are looking for great wedding food!

Uncle Bub's catered our wedding a few weeks ago and it was phenomenal. We are still getting compliments on the food. They were amazing to work with from the beginning. Our first meeting we met with the owner and he was so kind and straightforward with everything. He went over our options but then gave us his recommendations based on our budget, venue, etc. Isabella was our event manager and she was fantastic as well. She kept in contact with us in the weeks leading up to the wedding to make sure we had everything we needed and to make sure thatv they had all the info they needed to ensure everything would go smoothly for dinner. And the food. Everything was amazing. Guests were complimenting the food all night long. I can not recommend Uncle Bub's enough. Make sure to check them out for your wedding!

I thought they did a great job and the food was very good.! They arrived on time and took over from there. I didn’t have to get involved or worry about anything which is exactly what I wanted.

Uncle Bub's says they're full service and they really do mean it! They were flexible in letting us bring our own decor, dessert, and drinks. But they took care of the rest! They provided linens that perfectly tied into our color scheme and the food was delish - everyone said so! As the bride and groom, we didn't lift a finger all night, they served us with enthusiasm and we're so grateful! Briana Novak was the Uncle Bub's rep we were assigned to and we loveeeed working with her! Can't recommend enough!

Uncle bubs was a preferred vendor at our venue. The food was amazing and we received a lot of compliments from our guests. The servers at the wedding were absolutely phenomenal. They were so kind and attentive. They kept checking up on myself and the groom to see if there was anything we needed. If you are considering using uncle bubs, take this as your sign to do it.

Uncle Bub's food was incredible. Every one of our guests had amazing things to say about it. From the pulled pork bbq to the herb roasted chicken, every dish was a hit- and the broccoli salad? Yuuum! So many guests went up for seconds and even thirds, and the staff was so helpful and kind. We were pleasantly surprised by how efficient the buffet was for our guests to get their food quickly, with the assistance of Uncle Bub's staff. Marie and Mark were also great to work with to determine the right menu that was within our budget and above our expectations. I also really appreciated how the staff helped prepare my plate so I didn't have to worry about any mishaps with my wedding dress. We can definitely recommend Uncle Bub's if you are looking for delicious wedding food that can please the crowd and great staff that goes above and beyond to take care of the wedding goers.

BOOK THEM! We did not go with a traditional wedding. We knew we didn’t want the plates simple chicken and vegetables wedding food. We wanted something delicious that people could go back and get more of. We did buffet style and let me tell you the food was DELICIOUS. My guests raved about the food all night. Even over a month later, I still have guests asking me who catered our wedding and how amazing the food was. Not only was the food spot on delicious but the people we worked with were amazing as well. Their communication skills and ways to accommodate our needs is what really made everything special. If you’re looking for personable, family oriented and amazing food, then stop looking, you found it!

Without any doubt, I highly recommend Uncle Bub's catering services! My wife and I recently celebrated our wedding this summer, and we are so happy we went with Uncle Bub's. From the very start of our wedding planning process to our big day, Mark, Marie, and the team were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable throughout, offering us guidance, answering our questions, taking in our considerations, and checking in with so much thoughtfulness and care. Super responsive and organized. Their day-of event team were also wonderful--professional, very kind, and helpful. Everything ran so smoothly. Oh, and the food--like their pulled pork sandwiches, herb roasted chicken, plus vegetarian options--was absolutely delicious. Everyone loved the food (and the leftovers), and we knew they would since our first tasting. When we remember our wedding day, Uncle Bub's will always play a special part.

Uncle Bub’s was beyond amazing for our wedding at Warehouse 109! My husband and I already loved the food there so we weren’t surprised when all of our guests couldn’t stop talking about how amazing the food was and also how refreshing it was so have BBQ at a wedding rather then traditional food! During the planning process they went above and beyond to do everything they could to make sure the day ran perfectly and also we’re so willing to help in areas out side of just the catering! Beyond happy with them and recommend them 1000%!!

Well where do I start! Everything was so perfect! Everyone complimenting the food all night long! Not just one item, everything ! Apptz, all main courses , sides, and the service was outstanding! Not one thing to worry about! Staff was also willing to help out even if it wasn’t their job! The whole staff was more than kind to our whole wedding reception! Thank you!! I gave a 5 star rating but should be more like💯!

Uncle Bub's did a fantastic job catering our wedding at Hoosier Grove Barn. We did a tasting in person at Uncle Bub's restaurant, and they stuffed us with plates of heaping food. We decided on jalapeno cheddar brats & bruschetta for cocktail hour; for dinner we had pulled pork, herb roasted chicken, mac & cheese, green beans, and mashed potatoes, with corn bread and cole slaw. Man, we had a LOT of food! Plenty of leftovers to take home. It was so so good, many guests complimented the food. Based on service, pricing, and quality of food, you cannot go wrong with Uncle Bubs!

Uncle Bub's was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! We got so many compliments and people saying that it was the best wedding food they've ever had. I would definitely recommend Uncle Bub's if you want something delicious and a little different than normal wedding food.

Uncle Bub's catered our wedding and it was amazing! All of the food was so delicious and our guests are still talking about how tasty everything was. We did a buffet style dinner for our wedding and Uncle Bub's brought enough food to feed an army! We first tried Uncle Bub's at a Meet & Greet at our venue and sampled a few different items all of which were delicious. When we decided to use them for our wedding we were able to talk through all menu options from appetizers to main course to dessert to really help us make the best decision. We were able to do an official tasting with them and try a variety of different main dishes, sides, and appetizers which really helped us our final choices. Uncle Bub's was great at communicating, checking in with us, and serving our guests at our wedding. If you are looking for a BBQ style meal Uncle Bub's is definitely the way to go!

We used Uncle Bub's for our wedding and the food was a tremendous success. I had people coming up to me just to tell me how awesome the food was. We had the ribs (A+!), Caprese skewers, and Swedish meatballs (amazing!) for passed appetizers. The pulled pork and macaroni & cheese in our buffet were huge hits. The event team was friendly and fantastic; I felt entirely comfortable with them handling the logistics on the day of the event. I worked with Marie during the planning process - she was so knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and she really helped me make sure I had all my bases covered. Can't recommend them enough; thank you!

We used Uncle Bub’s to cater our recent wedding of about 250 guests and we honestly could not have made a better choice! Every step of the planning process was simple and smooth, including postponing our wedding by an entire year due to COVID. I love that there was a wide selection of table settings and linens and that they were able to accommodate our vegetarian and vegan guests. On the day of the event they were on time, professional, and everything went seamlessly. We received so many compliments on how delicious the food was from our friends and family and have even had friends ask for the restaurant name so that they could go eat there again! I highly recommend using Uncle Bub’s to cater your event!

My husband and I hired Uncle Bub's to cater our wedding as we went there for our first date. We weren't expecting them to be absolutely amazing wedding caterers. Not only did everyone rave about the food but everyone raved about the staff and how nice and accomodating they were as well as how well it was all planned. I felt like we barely planned anything and Uncle Bub's did everything for us. We were completely clueless, and they were very patient with us. The staff was quick with cleaning up plates and feeding people. I won't forget that I made an off-handed comment about being hungry after cocktail hour while my bridesmaids bustled my dress, and our event captain immediately had four servers surround me with appetizers from cocktail hour. It was honestly, a Godsend. Then, she made sure that I was served first and carried my food for me so that I wouldn't fall over my dress. The experience was amazing, smooth, professional, and I would definitely recommend them.

Uncle bubs is amazing! Used them for our wedding and cannot say enough good things about it! The whole booking and planning process was so easy and it is relatively affordable. Food is unlike anything else. So happy with everything and highly recommend!

OMG! We are delighted that we made the choice to go with Uncle Bub's for our wedding reception. From the first day we met with Mark, to saying goodbye to the wait staff the night of our reception, we experienced nothing but complete professionalism from the Bub's team. Oh, and bonus...the food was delicious! Our guests are still talking about it, and our son even made mention of it in his speech at the reception. The supervisor at Hammond Marina also commented on how much she liked working with you, your level of service and professionalism. It's no surprise you continue to be the top BBQ establishment for miles and miles around!

Everyone absolutely raved about the food we had served at our wedding! Uncle Bubs was so amazing and the perfect food for us! We worked with Heather and Marie in the restaurant throughout the planning process and they were both amazing-they were extremely responsive and highly organized. We had to unfortunately postpone our wedding because of COVID, and they really made all the changes extremely seamless and easy. They had so many options for the small details, and everything looked so beautiful and matched out venue perfectly. We decided to eat our dinner privately during cocktail hour and they were super accommodating to that which was such a great thing for my husband and I. I cannot say enough good things about the quality of food and amazing service they provided.

There aren’t enough words to express how truly thrilled we were with our experience from start to finish with Uncle Bub’s! My husband only cared about having BBQ at our wedding and it was such a nice change of pace from “typical” wedding food! Our guests were raving about the food all night and since. I am still dreaming about their broccoli salad and potato rolls! And my husband is still dreaming about the beef brisket and cornbread!

We worked with Uncle Bub’s planning our wedding through the duration of 2020, and we could have asked for more. Our wedding was in very capable hands. Our guests loved the cocktail hour and dinner, and the food was one the biggest highlights of the day — I think everybody went up for seconds at least once. The staff was professional, reliable, and took care of everything for us. They really brought everything together for us and we couldn’t be more pleased.

As an event planner I vet caterers for events year round. So when it came to picking one for our wedding I had high expectations. I was looking for: quality and tastiness of food, reasonable prices (Ie. A potato, veggies, and chicken costs $ at the store, so what are other caterers doing that should it cost $$$ per plate? Uncle Bubs prices make sense!), and a high level of customer service. Uncle Bubs has all of this in spades. If you are looking for delicious food and amazing customer service, please look no further. I would recommend them to anyone and will be rehiring them again when I need to host my one year anniversary party when it is safe to have large gatherings again. The food was amazing, the staff was supportive and understanding as we replanned (thank you Heather!), and the quality and prices cannot be beat. Hire them! You will not regret it.

When my husband and I started planning our wedding, one of our top priorities was to serve good food, and with Uncle Bub’s we succeeded. We received so many compliments from our guests on both the quality and quantity of the food - especially the pulled pork! Aside from the delicious food, Uncle Bub’s was amazing to work with. They were able to work around all of our guests’ food allergies and when I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease just a few months before the wedding, it was an added bonus that most of our dinner menu was already gluten free! The Uncle Bub’s team was also super flexible and accommodating when we needed to postpone our original wedding date, went through several weeks of not knowing if/when we’d be able to reschedule, and then executing our downsized event with all of the new safety regulations in place. Finally, the Uncle Bub’s team that was on site for the reception was so professional, friendly, and accommodating. We had guests commenting on how helpful and friendly the buffet servers were and my husband and I were delightfully surprised when one of the team members walked across the room to our table to check on us and see if there was anything else we needed. We highly recommend Uncle Bub’s for delicious food and great service that your guests will continue to talk about for days (or weeks)!

Working with Uncle Bub's for our wedding day was a must for my husband and they did not disappoint! From start to finish they were attentive and easy to work with even when we made several changes to our menu. The day of they were on time, organized, and executed everything flawlessly! Our wedding was 200+ people and in my parent's backyard and they were both blown away the next day with what a fantastic job the staff did when cleaning up. They definitely went above and beyond and we could not be more thankful! Not to mention the food was phenomenal and we all enjoyed left overs the next day!

We catered Uncle Bub's for our wedding in December! They were amazing to work with and SUPER accommodating. We had an initial meeting there and got all the catering information, which was super helpful. They even provided us with dinner that night. We scheduled our tasting for just the two of us and were SHOCKED at how much food and options they brought us. We barely made it through trying everything, thankfully they let us take all the leftovers home! I have a gluten and diary allergy (as do a handful of our guests) and they were great about offering other options and making certain things allergy friendly. They made a special diary free roasted chicken for my mom and I. They also made the gravy gluten free for everyone. I asked last minute for a dietary card for the buffet table and they provided one without any issues. They gave us the option to use their China or disposable plates/silverware, etc. However, they did advise us that it would probably be more affordable to purchase our own for them to use. They advised how much to buy of what and we purchased on our own, saving quite a bit of money there! They also offered to help assist with serving anything we wanted to purchase on our own. For example, if we want to purchase a cheese board from Costco, they would monitor it. I did take them up on this because I did provide a small amount of gluten/diary free cupcakes, and they managed serving them, which was amazing. We rented their popcorn machine for cocktail hour, since we didn't provide apps. We also served pulled pork, herb roasted chicken, mac & cheese, cole slaw, green beans, mashed potatoes, along with rolls and corn bread. We had comments from ALL of our guests absolutely RAVING about how amazing the food was. They even said the herb roasted chicken was the best they'd ever had. We are so grateful for everything Uncle Bub's and the team did for us on our big day and would recommend them in a heart beat to anyone interested! We'll definitely be going back on our own too!

Ever since the first time my now husband took me to Uncle Bub's, I knew I wanted them to cater our reception. The food and service is amazing!! BreAnn was our lead event server and she was organized, calm and friendly. I forgot the other server's name but he was fantastic too. We had my favorite beef brisket, roasted chicken, mac n cheese, beans and salad. I have never seen so many people go up for seconds at a reception. We had mistakenly provided the wrong location and didn't notice until the day of.....I didn't panic because BreAnn was not frazzled. Luckily the correct venue was right down the road! :) Uncle Bub's is amazing!!! Great prices and delicious food!

The food at our wedding was PHENOMENAL! Uncle Bub’s has mastered the art of the buffet. Everyone’s meal was piping hot and delicious. I’ve gotten so many compliments about how the food was not your standard wedding food - which is what we were going for. Heather was our point of contact at Uncle Bub’s and she was kind and always willing to answer my (many) questions. The servers were incredible and always checking to make sure I was okay or asking if I needed anything. Uncle Bub’s also set our dinner tables and I could not have been happier with how beautiful they turned out. Amazing food and incredible service.

Uncle Bubs is the best! first, their staff is amazing. From working with Mark, Marie and Bri to the staff who worked our wedding, every single person was so friendly and super helpful. Since Uncle Bubs works so closely with my venue (Katherine Legge) everything was so easy and smooth. If there were any issues, I still don’t know about them. Second, the food is amazinggggggg. We did a pig roast which was delicious and our guests loved it! Third, the price is great. You can’t beat it. Food is amazing (And large portions! We had tons of leftovers). Staff is amazing. It’s worth every penny! Highly recommended! The restaurant is also really good if you’re looking for good BBQ!

Uncle Bubs catered for my wedding recently and absolutely went above and beyond to make the experience exceptional. They had excellent communication answering any questions we had about the planning and day of process. They left no details out and made sure to make the day as perfect as we could imagine. From the setup, to the breakdown of the wedding their service was excellent. Our tasting with them was great and the food at the wedding was exceptional. We hired Uncle Bub’s to cater our wedding reception. Everything worked out great. Our first meeting with Mark was very helpful. He walked through everything with us and really showed us how much Uncle Bub’s can assist with an event. They handled not only the food, but arranged for the linens and place settings and their staff helped day of with the set-up of decorations on the tables. They were professional, knowledgeable, and organized down to a very detailed level, which took a huge load off our plates with planning. It was great to know we could rely on them. On top of all the help they offer, the food was delicious! Everyone loved the food and there was plenty available so no one went home hungry.
