She made it run smoothly and efficiently, which allowed us to wander around the French Quarter with our wedding parties. A VERY BIG THANK YOU to Lisa for going out of her way to pick up our second line umbrellas, as that took another task off my plate and I appreciated it!! Wedding Day: GRATEFUL that Lisa & Jeanette were by my side the entire day as they kept me sane. They ensured that we were hydrated, fed, and if assistance was needed, they were there. Lisa & Jeanette were attentive, friendly, and fun; not only with us but also with our guests, which made it even better. By the end of the night, they joined in on the fun by taking a photobooth picture, which made my partner and me happy to see. We 10000000% recommend using Uncommon Camellia as your day-of coordinator and know that all the folks there will take good care of your special day, BUT if you get Lisa and Jeanette, then you’ll be in even better hands.

I have only been married once and can only speak to my single experience, but I can say the people who were with me while I was getting ready—friends, photographers, makeup artists, venue managers—all commented on the incredible day-of PDF being so detailed and thorough. I think a direct quote was, “What?! Our coordinator didn’t do ANY of this! That’s such bs!” Getting married? Amazing. Coordinating your wedding day? The exact opposite. Let me put it this way: if I had to pick between hiring Uncommon Camellia and wearing a used pillowcase as my dress, or wearing the most incredible dress of all time and going it alone, hand me the pillowcase. More specifically, being paired with Lizzie for the entire wedding planning process, and Meredith joining for the day of, made our wedding the best night of me and my now husband's lives. From start to finish, Lizzie provided wonderful vendor suggestions, excellent logistic advice, and made sure our wedding was exactly what WE wanted - no one else's. Lizzie was our advocate and logistics queen, not only with our vendors, but also in making sure my husband and I simply got our enjoy every moment of our weekend - which we THOROUGHLY did! Brides, I know a wedding coordinator can seem like an extra investment, but 1) the UC team has multiple options to make it feasible, and 2) the time and stress saved is 1000000% worth it. I promise. Many brides say they're thrilled when the wedding process / planning ends because of how stressful it can be, but I'm a bit sad it's over because I didn't have that experience - in HUGE part to Lizzie and Meredith. As I mentioned, I'm not much of a planner, but her suggestions, guidance and logistical awareness made it so I could still have control of our wedding, but also be able to entirely relax once we got to New Orleans, and simply just focus on getting to marry my best friend. Consider yourself lucky if you get to work with anyone on the UC team, but even more lucky if you get the pleasure of working with Lizzie and Meredith!

As with any wedding, there were a few unexpected hiccups, but they were dealt with discreetly and without me knowing until afterwards thanks to Ashley. We had several venues for getting ready, the actual wedding and then a reception. They floated among them seamlessly. The personal attention we received getting ready was so much needed and appreciated. All details were attended to. And at the end, every little item of ours was transported to our home and not a single thing was left behind. I would do this all over again with this amazing help.
