e was that you don't know what you don't know. I could hire some great vendors and have a general plan, but I have never planned a wedding before. Uncommon Camellia brings a few invaluable things to the table in this department. Any of the little gaps or details you wouldn't have thought about are top of mind for them, so they get addressed in advance which brings you so much more confidence and security in the final stages of planning. They also know what questions to ask your vendors, and completely take over all of your vendor management at about the 6 week mark so that you aren't trying to manage 15 people on top of your full-time job. In addition to all this, Torie met with me a couple times, including on-site at the venue, and put together incredibly detailed timeline and layouts that leave no guesswork for any of the vendors or bridal party. That's all prior to them actually coordinating your rehearsal and wedding. At the rehearsal, as I watched Torie wrangle no less than ten grandparents wandering in various directions, I turned to the person next to me and said, "Whatever I am paying her, it's not enough!" The service level at the wedding was somehow even a notch above. I don't even have much to say here, because everything just kind of happens behind the scenes, and you as the bride get to show up to a beautifully executed event. That's the goal, right? I do have a few memories, however, that demonstrate their exceptional attention to detail and service-- whether its the lighting in the venue dimming at the perfect time, making sure my husband and I get a slice from the tier of cake that we wanted to try, or making sure all my vendors get tipped at the end of the night. Every single detail flows without a hitch, without you having to get involved. I could keep writing, but I hope by now I have convinced you to prioritize hiring Uncommon Camellia to coordinate your wedding. It was one of the most worthwhile investments we made for the event. Shoutout, again, to Torie specifically- she was truly amazing.

There was not one thing I would have changed. Having her by my side on my wedding day relived so much stress knowing how professional and detail-oriented she was. Everything was so organized and transparent; I can honestly say my wedding day would not have been a success without her.

Amber even made sure all of the bridesmaids were hydrated and fed throughout the day. At one point, Rebekah even came to the rescue to pin my mom's dress that kept coming undone. If you are considering hiring them, I would 100% go for it! You will be able to relax and enjoy your special day without feeling like you need to be coordinating and hosting.

She did an amazing job making sure everyone was calm and organized throughout the wedding day. It should not go without saying that we had so many friends and family tell us it was the best wedding they have ever been to and we know it would not have been possible without Maria and her guidance! I was passionate about what our table settings would look like and Heather stepped in with beautiful suggestions and even folded our napkins for us! She really helped execute my vision. On the big day, Heather and Brie had such a calming presence. My friends and family commented on how hard they worked. Despite hours of running around, they were always smiling. They took care of me and my now husband so well. We were able to enjoy the day with all our friends and family. THANK YOU Heather and Brie!!

The wedding day timeline is so helpful not to have to worry if people and vendors will be in the right place at the right time. Tori also reaches out to all of the vendors to help arrange whatever is needed. Tori is also there the day of the wedding to help take the pressure off the wedding party so that the wedding party can enjoy the big day. Tori's assistant Torie did a great job too! They were both so nice, professional and helpful.

and this is WITHOUT A DOUBT the absolute BEST and easiest decision we made while wedding planning. We met Laura about a year before our wedding, and we had no hesitations knowing we wanted to work with her right after we met her. Our only regret is not having hired Uncommon Camellia for their FULL wedding planning services! TRULY. When it was time for Laura to come fully on board about 6 weeks before the wedding we felt such a huge sense of relief. We had most of our vendors on board by then (our wedding was at the Hotel Peter and Paul), and she was an absolute pro at building our timeline and making recommendations as to how the day/night should evolve. At our rehearsal, she was able to reign in our wedding party of nearly 20 people and get everyone organized. Our friends and family all commented on how this was the most organized wedding they had ever attended. Everyone in our party got copies of the wedding day timeline and everything! Laura kept popping up throughout the day at all our most important moments when we needed her. She brought Alexis and Lydia with her on the actual wedding day, and seeing them all throughout the day was a complete breath of fresh air. I know they were all working so hard to keep everything looking absolutely gorgeous and going so smoothly. They were such pros - there were so many tiny details I hadn't thought of (even though I assumed I'd thought of EVERYTHING) - but Laura caught all these tiny things I hadn't thought of...like making sure the proper extension cord (2-prong versus 3-prong) would be on site for our audio guest book. She learned how to operate our cold sparks machine for us during our first dance and they went off without a hitch! We had a food truck set up outside the venue for dessert, and Laura made sure the setup looked gorgeous and she brought some of our florals and audio guest book items into the reception from our cocktail hour - made that setup look AMAZING - which was SO clutch and such a surprise because it's like it happened when no one was looking! And so many more of our guests were able to leave us messages for the rest of the night. We literally challenged the team with so much, and they helped with everything and more - we cannot thank you all enough. My advice to other brides - HIRE THIS TEAM! And trust them!! Try to relax, and listen to the years of experience and expertise they bring to the table. My husband and I personally left a few things to the last minute (we were still tweaking some menu and scheduling items, figuring out our exit, etc.) - the UC team graciously kept up with it all. It was very professional, thorough with all important details discussed. After talking with Maria, I WAS SOLD. At $1,800, I forfeited. Luckily, Maria was available on our date and due to our time crunch, she needed deposit and all the vendors’ contracts (I’ve already reserved) ASAP to get started. The very next day, she put gears into motion! The communication to vendors and myself was impeccable! A huge weight was lifted off my shoulders and I no longer needed to stress about planning all. by. myself. We met in person twice before the big day; once to show Maria around the Four Seasons— this was her canvas, where she would make a plan and twice, for the rehearsal. Maria was PHENOMENAL throughout the whole service from the first minute of meeting her. During the rehearsal, with authority, she instructed us on what to do and how to do, she gave us tips, and was very patient with our kids and silly family members. Her personality was endearing, so lively and full of smiles, had an answer or input for every question. You could tell she loves what she does by the confidence she carries. If I were to do this again, I would’ve hired her earlier in the planning process. We love them and we’re so grateful for their flawless work! The day, of course, had a few minor issues, which was handled and I didn’t hear a thing until the days following. The wedding day ran smoothly and was more beautiful than I could’ve ever imagined! Truly perfect!!
