Wow!!! Just wow!!! We had an amazing experience with Travis and his wife, Tara, who are the power couple behind Uncommon Catering. We got married late April 2024 and everyone is STILL raving about how amazing our food was. Food was finished being prepared on site which meant our guests got to enjoy hot and fresh food! Our family and friends continue to rave about how kind their staff is too (HUGE bonus in my eyes). The moment my husband and I walked away from our ceremony, we were greeted with drinks and our fresh hors d'oeuvres immediately. We felt so pampered! Staff seriously went above and beyond bringing food to our family and wedding party taking pictures too and at the end of the night packed up all the extra food to send home with our families. We left for our honeymoon that same night so we froze a lot of it and were able to enjoy it when we came back. It was just as good as wedding night! You will not regret choosing Uncommon! We also enjoyed their bar service at our wedding and they served our favorite Italian margaritas which was a huge hit for our guests. Working with Travis was a breeze. Great communication, easy payment methods, clear expectations and pricing. We loved being able to attend their tasting where they let us sample 39 dishes!! It was hard to narrow down but you cannot go wrong with anything they create! 1000/10, would book with them again in a heartbeat! We love you Travis and Tara!!!

The quality of service and professionalism was unmatched. Uncommon Catering was one of the BEST decisions of our day (I still dream about the Boursin stuffed mushrooms). Let me brag about their staff - they were one of the highlights of our day. Efficient as they were thoughtful and kind. Anything I say won’t fully capture how perfectly they *made* our brunch wedding dreams a reality. You don’t know me but trust me when I say you NEED them for your wedding.

HIRE THEM NOW! Don't think, just do. From the tasting to the final bite on our wedding day, Uncommon was amazing! The food, the service, the attention to detail. Tara and Travis were top notch and we could not be more thankful for them. My husband came to them with ideas for food that were not on their normal menu. During our tasting, they made every single one of his ideas to a T. We were blown away. We will be hiring them (if possible) for ANY future event we need catering for. Their food is to die for and every guest at our wedding made compliments to the chefs. 43857037502/10 recommend.

Our catering was incredible. From a 4 hours of tasting to custom tailored menu to a desserts Wall!!! Travis and his team took care of Everything!!! Our bar staff was attentive and amazing, our servers were professional and quick, but most importantly THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS!!! Beef tenderloin with chimichurri sauce received 5 stars from our Extremely picky family!! Some said it was the best they've ever had. I will hire them with my eyes closed and over and over again!!

Our family style feast was absolutely spectacular. Our guests raved about how great the food was!! Everything was beautiful and tasty. Could not be happier! Thank you Tara & Travis, and team for being such a big part of our big day!

Great service would be an understatement. They coordinated everything and took care of all my needs just based off of a few meetings/messages. Their staff at the event were so great and truly added to a wonderful atmosphere. Also if you're on the fence about adding a charcuterie table, go for it because it looked incredible. Couldn't be more happy with the job they did at my wedding. Thank you for making my day even better!

We'd been to quite a few weddings by the time that we had our own and Uncommon produced the best food we'd ever tasted at a wedding. I know that our opinion is biased, but it was supported by the comments of many of our guests. Uncommon has a great idea for the tasting as well. There were around a dozen couples that each were given the opportunity to choose some items from their menu to taste. All the items chosen by every group was available for everyone to try so we probably ate almost 100 different options that day. The staff was also very attentive to us during our reception. They had all of the appetizers and dinner options at our sweetheart table and consistently checked in to see if we needed drinks, water or second helpings. The staff was incredible and super professional during our reception and got our guests through the buffet line very quickly.

Tara, Travis and the team at Uncommon Catering are so incredibly wonderful. Not only were they responsive & helpful, the food and service was TOP notch. We did the tasting, which was a feast in itself. We got to try so many items and they were all so good it was hard to pick. Then leading up to our wedding, Travis was so communicative and organized. Then on our wedding day, they truly knocked it out of the park. The food was the BEST, our guests loved the food and raved about it. And the service was perfect. I don't think our day would have been as great as it was without Uncommon. I highly recommend them!

AMAZING! I can’t say enough good things about Uncommon catering. I’ll start off by saying the tasting is the best tasting you’ll ever go to. You get to try everything on the menu. They catered my wedding and I received so many complements from the guests regarding the food. I had multiple people tell me “it was the best wedding food they have ever had.” The owners are extremely timely and thorough. They made sure their food signs matched my decor. I would recommend them to anyone!

When your wedding planner is excited to hear you've booked Uncommon for your wedding, you know it's good food!! My biggest wish while wedding planning was for our guests to leave remarking on the good food, and Uncommon went above and beyond what is expected of wedding dinners. The dishes were inventive and delicious, and the attentiveness to us as the brides was also spectacular. Staff offered us hors d'oeuvres throughout the post-ceremony photography session and made sure we never had to get up during buffet service. Attention to detail even carried over into the buffet table decor, which they made sure matched our colors/florals. I can't recommend Uncommon enough if you want everyone to remember your wedding for great food and great service!

Absolutely fantastic!! We had Uncommon Catering for our wedding last week and were so impressed. I have celiac disease, as does several members of my family, so we requested that the entire meal be 100% gluten free. Trevor and his staff went above and beyond to clean their kitchen and ensure that we would eat safely. Not to mention the food was amazing! They also made sure we had time to eat on our wedding day by bringing us food during cocktail hour pictures and serving us full plates of food before calling tables up to the buffet. The entire staff was so friendly as well. We're still eating leftovers a week later! Would definitely recommend!!

Do yourself a favor and book a tasting - you won’t regret it! The food they serve is beyond words. You can tell Travis and Tara love what they do as their food is a direct reflection of that. We also used them for bartending - 10/10 would recommend for both without hesitation. They made the whole process so fun and easy and the communication was great!

Look no further than Uncommon Catering for your wedding! First off, they provide a wonderful multi couple tasting experience to help you choose from a wide variety of menu options to best suit your occasion. My husband and I were hosting a brunch wedding and had a hard time narrowing down from the delicious options! Travis also was able to add on some breakfast croissants and bread as a nice touch to the meal. I had had some of Chef Tara's food before at a wine dinner and had no doubt this was going to be some of the best wedding food our guests will have ever had. We got nothing but rave reviews from our guests that day and days after. Some highlights were the beef tenderloin crostini appetizer, french toast, beef tenderloin, and squash and zucchini au gratin. What followed every compliment on the food was a compliment on the staff. They were all so nice and my guests had special stories to tell me of how they wonderfully they were treated or if special accommodations were made for them. Uncommon adds the extra touch that makes your day special.

Where to even start. Without exaggerating I can confidently say that Travis and Tara single-handedly saved our wedding. After our first venue fell through last minute, they made sure they did everything in their power to make sure our wedding still took place. We were all but sure that we would have to cancel, and if it weren't for these two and their connections to the community, we surely would have. Needless to say, it came out even better than we initially planned! They showed extreme patience and flexibility with us as we were fumbling to put on a wedding last minute, and made sure we didn't forget a single detail. Their attention to detail was superlative. We even bumped into Tara while we were picking out flowers, and she was actually there picking some out just to match our decor. You can really feel how much love and passion is involved in their work. On the day of, the food and service was amazing, and our guests couldn't stop raving about it. We would without a doubt return to Uncommon Catering for any future catering needs, and I won't hesitate to recommend them to anyone I know who is having an event. Working with these two was an absolute pleasure, and supporting a local family-owned business was just the cherry on top!

Start with the tasting early on and I promise you won't need to look anywhere else. The food was delicious and it opened our eyes to a few different menu items we wouldn't have otherwise considered. Our favorites were the deviled eggs and the chimichurri steak. Surprisingly, the tuna wonton nacho bites were a total hit too. I highly recommend serving your meal family style. It is only a few dollars more per person and absolutely worth it. I had multiple people tell me afterwards that it was the best wedding dinner they have ever had and particularly that they enjoyed the camaraderie of eating family style. It brought our different groups of guests together. Lastly, Travis was very easy to work with and had tons of useful insights. I didn't have a wedding planner so I sent him rather long emails when trying to decide between different table setting options and he was quick to respond and always helpful with advice. It made a huge difference that we could do nearly all of our tableware and linen rentals through them approximately at cost and that we didn't need final numbers in until a week or two ahead of time. Thank you to Travis and his amazing team for an incredible dinner!

I HIGHLY recommend Uncommon Catering for your event!! I hired them for my December 2021 wedding and their service (and food!!) was beyond amazing. I still dream of the food at my wedding because it was so yummy. From our very first interactions at the tasting, to the wedding day, working with Uncommon was a breeze. Their servers are friendly and highly professional. Their bartenders were a guest favorite and made our drinks perfectly! The initial tasting was very fun and we tried a huge spectrum of food! We were able to create a well rounded menu with Travis and Tara! All of our guests loved the food, and we couldn’t be happier with their service.

From the out-of-this world tasting experience to the incredible wedding reception service and everything in between, Travis and his crew were fantastic. Great communication, personalized service, and genuinely nice people! They even worked with us to create a custom menu! We were so happy to offer our guests a delicious and unique meal! Uncommon Catering went above and beyond!

We love Uncommon Catering so much! Tara and Travis were the best to work with. I have to give props to their professionalism. Sometimes when they are in a busy stretch, they still take time to respond to emails and questions, even if it's just a "I acknowledge receipt of this and will get back to you soon". That seems like such a little trivial thing, but it is a lot more than I can say about other vendors/companies. As for the food, it was absolutely amazing, my husband and I as well as all our guests and other vendors can't say enough about how delicious everything was. I highly recommend giving their miso salmon a try during your tasting, it was probably the star of the buffet, everyone was talking about it. The Baowie Wowie bao buns were also a hit during cocktail hour, and whenever people mention how good it was, it excites me to be able to break the good news to them that it's actually available in their eatery! They also managed to make something as simple as white rice become so much more elevated than normal. You'd think that something like that shouldn't be noteworthy, but it was THAT good. I am also so so grateful for their thoroughness when it came to dealing with our guests who had allergies. We had quite a few of them; from nightshades, to fish, to onions, to gluten (celiac). My guests felt safe and they were so happy and touched by the thoughtful gesture of making sure they actually got to enjoy the dinner reception. No body felt like they missed out on anything because of their restrictions. Finally, I think their pricing is a STEAL for the value and quality that you get with them compared to some of the more major caterers in the Central Florida area. We had tastings with other "big" caterers around Orlando, and they might as well have been crappy cafeteria food when compared next to Uncommon's food, and the big caterers would charge 1.5 to 2 times more! Can't recommend Uncommon Catering enough, they are the best!

Hire them! The food was a massive hit! Everyone kept telling me how much they loved it during the event. They were so easy to work with and considerate, adding lots of extra touches to help make our big day easier for us. Their employees were kind and attentive as well. Overall, Uncommon Catering was an amazing value, and such a pleasure to work with. 10/10!

The food was amazing! If you are looking for catering that is not your standard boring food I would go with them. After the ceremony Travis and Tara had setup a special spread set up for us so we could try our appetizers and have a glass of champagne before photos. They brought us out our own plate during the reception which allowed us time to visit our guest during dinner. I have had so many people come up to me after the wedding telling how delicious the food was. Travis and Tara were super helpful with everything leading up to the big day. They went above and beyond what was expected and you can tell they really cared to make sure our special day was the best it could be. I would 100% would recommend using them to anyone hosting an event.

Uncommon was by far the best choice we could have made when it comes to caterers! Travis and Tara were so amazing! We mentioned my husband doesn’t like mushrooms, one time, and at the tasting with about a dozen other couples, they made sure he didn’t have mushrooms on my beef (and made sure of it again during our wedding)! They paid attention to every detail! Everyone we talked to absolutely raved about the food!

Uncommon Catering gave us the perfect experience for a perfect wedding. Their food is amazing, creative, and well-priced. We hope to find an occasion to hire them again they are so good! They were extremely polite, responsive, and kind. Their tasting allowed us to try literally dozens of dishes, letting us try, first-hand, so many possible dishes for our wedding. It enabled us to consider things we might never have had. The food tasted even better at the wedding than it did at the tasting; what you see is what you get! They were amenable to suggestions for the menu as well as offering their own creative ideas. They assembled leftovers wonderfully, giving us a ton of food to take home and enjoy afterwards. Heck, I wish we had lied and said we had more guests coming, just to go home with more of their delicious food! All of our guests have agreed that the food was amazing.They were truly flawless.

Travis & Tara with Uncommon Catering are the absolute best! My husband and I were really intrigued by their menu options, and booked with them for our first wedding tasting. Arrive prepared to be rolled out of there! There was so much food, and it was all so amazing we had a hard time narrowing down our favorites! Travis was incredibly helpful from the very beginning, answering all of our questions and customizing our menu to our specific needs. He even attended our final walk-through a few days before the wedding, which gave us great peace of mind. The Uncommon team was extremely professional and truly catered to my husband and I and all of our guests the day of our wedding. The food was delicious and our guests raved about it for days! Their setup and displays are curated to fit with the rest of your wedding decor, which I really appreciated! It was one less thing I had to think about! We are so grateful for all of their efforts in making our wedding day special. Tara and Travis are incredibly talented and invested in making the entire experience memorable for their couples!

Very professional and food was OUTSTANDING! All of our guests were shocked at how good it was, not your typical chicken and salmon wedding choices. They were a pleasure to work with and we are so Glad we chose them! I recommend you do the 2 hour tasting, a wonderful experience

Where do we start... I guess at the true beginning. Here we go. Our first introduction to Uncommon Catering was at their tasting event at East End. Our recommendation is to fast for several days before entering this wonderful world of gastronomy. They select the food you're going to taste based off of what everyone's preference is (which you get to choose off their extensive menu weeks prior). This is extremely helpful because you get to try what you actually want and then some (so you may discover you like other things as well). The food was extra tasty (the rumors are true - their brisket is quite delicious), the presentation was beautiful and they were professional while being personable which I think is important. By the end of the night, we knew it was love at first sight. Throughout the whole process, they were there to answer any questions (and I had many!) and tweak whatever we wanted so it was custom to us. They also had suggestions when we needed help. Speaking of tweaking, they really want to create a cohesive experience. They asked about colors, flowers, and even font type. I didn't know anyone cared about our font type! Their own decor is also quite beautiful as well so it makes for a nice table setup if your party requires one. I cannot say enough about them going above and beyond. They made sure the bridal party was well fed during picture time (but just in case, they have doggy bags for the bride and groom ready to go when you are!), they pick up the liquor a week before so you don't have to worry about it the day before/of and then return it to you the day after which is super convenient, the extras such as the coffee and s'mores bar are nice little touches that make your party stand out over the rest and they are just kind people. I will say, Mother Nature was not kind to us on our wedding day but they made it work (mind you, our entire wedding was outside). They took the edge off. They had our backs. I'm sure there are a million other things I am missing but just know you are in good hands. If you want your event to be different (in a positive way), it's good to get a little uncommon. ;)

Travis and Tara at Uncommon are just WOW! There aren’t enough words to explain how simply amazing this team is! They are so flexible and willing to work with you on whatever you want for your big day. The food is to die for & we received so many compliments for our guests on our wedding night! They take the time to match their décor/floral with your décor and floral. We didn’t get the chance to eat any appetizers at our wedding but thanks to Travis and his team, we had a to-go box full of appetizers, entrees, sides, and dessert waiting for us in our getaway car to take back to the hotel. It was such a sweet surprise to wake up to an email with pictures that Travis took throughout the night to give us a first look at our wedding from their view. 110% recommend Uncommon catering!!!

Travis and Tara are true artists and they have been a delight to work with. Their food is exceptional and their attention to detail and desire to please their clients is second to none. I’m so glad that we found them. P.S. Try the brisket!
