hem as our tent vendor. The way that Tony communicates with customers is very hostile and demeaning. Not only did he scream on the phone at my poor mother when we called with a simple question months before the wedding day, he was very short tempered with everyone involved in our wedding. He had his office employee call as we were headed to the church for the ceremony demanding payment that minute. Very unprofessional and very disappointing. Avoid at all costs. I’ve heard great things about Chase Canopy and Sperry Tent. Great alternatives.

and their site inspector helped us to realize our vision of trying to fit a lot of people into a small space. The delivery and set up team worked incredibly hard. Throughout the process many changes were made to our order, (we may now be tied for the most changes to an order) and they were all accommodated without difficulty, including last minute requests. In the end we were able to go with a clear top tent that was beautiful and allowed the natural beauty of the surroundings to show and requires minimal decoration. It was magical!

y hard securing the tent, and I was amazed how well it held up during the heavy wind and rain. The cost is high, and there are added charges if you use extra heat, which was tough to deal with after the fact. But all in all, I think if we had gone with a less qualified tent company, our tent would not have survived the weather of the weekend. We really appreciated Ronaldo and his staff for working so hard to make everything work for us!!!

However, Undercover Tent was essentially impossible to get ahold of - we placed at least one call every two weeks between January and September attempting to reach someone and almost never even got a courtesy message back that someone would call us back (no one ever did). The one contact we did receive after sending our final numbers was that they had overbooked silverware so we were short 25 sets. They did not make any attempt to resolve this for us, so I had to use a different rental company to get these sets (and then got to spend the morning after our post-wedding brunch sorting those sets back out of our dirty silverware. Grrr.) In fact, we did not actually connect with Tony in person - and me with him ever - until we'd arrived in Hyannis for our wedding. At that point, I had determined that the tent size we'd been quoted would have about a dozen guests sitting in a sand pit, and we asked Tony to come to the location and figure out what would work. That was the first time he actually measured our site and determined that, in fact, we'd need a different solution. After re-figuring things out, we were notified just before they headed over to set up that one of the two tents had been damaged, so we'd be getting a paneled white and clear tent for that one instead. So much for the whole reason we'd booked with UnderCover Tent! AND THEN...UnderCover Tent began setting up our tents more than a DAY after they were supposed to...so much for having a timeline to get our tables and everything else set up! If we hadn't had amazing friends and family willing to spend the morning of the wedding helping set up the venue, it wouldn't have happened. We were extremely disappointed with our UnderCover Tent experience. They may have been overbooked, but that doesn't mean they needed to completely disregard our wedding. The rest of our vendors were great - but this one - steer clear or at least know that you might get to have as much "fun" as we did with UnderCover Tent!

up and didn't come equipped knowing how the tent was even supposed to be set up. Needless to say I spent my rehearsal dinner dealing with that. I was also on my honeymoon when they were supposed to pick up the tent and my Dad sat around all day and they never showed up when they were supposed to. Not very professional. The tent did look great and I thought it was good value. So take to bad and annoying with the good I suppose.

was even before we committed to using his company. When there was a little misunderstanding between the rentals and the caterer - he took the approach as if the customer should not be involved in issues like this and handled it all behind the scenes. Tony showed up early on the day that all the rentals were to be delivered and made sure he knew where we wanted the tents placed and where we wanted the openings etc. We also rented all of our tables, chairs, plates, glasses, etc. from them and it was one stop shopping. The team did an excellent job on dropping everything off and picking it up as well as assembling the dance floor and the paper lanterns. Tony was very professional throughout the entire process and I never once worried that it wouldn't go smoothly (and everything did go smoothly). Highly Recommend.
