Andrea and her team are the ABSOLUTE BEST. Even though we were planning a somewhat smaller and more informal affair, Andrea was a godsend. Leading up to the day Andrea's kind, patient, and detail-oriented communication was amazing. Importantly, she held space for us to be who we are and not pressure us to go in any direction throughout our planing- I cannot overstate how lovely that is. Honestly one of my favorite photos from the wedding was of Andrea leaning into our bird theme by wearing a feather headband! I did not have to make a single decision or give any direction on our wedding day. I'm telling you- GODSEND. We had no idea if anything went wrong- you can't ask for anything more than that (and we had a caterer, band, DJ and bar set up in a somewhat challenging venue! We found out later that they had to completely pivot where the food was being cooked and set up). At one point Andrea had to kindly redirect the band when they started playing the wrong genre music that we had requested- woof. We were able to simply relax and enjoy the day with our loved ones. We also used her bar services and recommended DJ (who was so patient with our very specific requests) and everything was just perfect- everyone was so friendly, kind, and professional. Andrea also checked in on us throughout the evening and made sure we were fed and had drinks! Even if you think project management and/or event planning are your strong suits, I'm telling you- HIRE ANDREA AND UNIQUE EVENTS. You don't need to be a hero on your wedding day.

Ben and Andrea were absolutely fabulous to work with and made us feel at ease immediately! They ensured that my wedding was a complete a success. It's difficult to plan a destination wedding, not knowing or really understanding what you're walking into. They had a full knowledge of the area, were able to provide incredible guidance yet valued our input and originality. We had Zoom meetings to hammer out any details and were in constant communication via email. They had a fantastic rapport with the venue staff and people around them! They provided an invaluable service for us! We appreciate them so much!

Andrea helped us with our wedding at Brasstown Valley. Having worked in the area for close to 20 years, she is very experienced and extremely familiar with the area. The checklist she gave on the aisle planner and the advice/tips I have gotten from her in each step of the planning process is super helpful! Her month of planning service was of great value, very comprehensive and exactly what we needed. She has great listening and coordination skills. Unlike other day of coordinators, Andrea made great recommendations on local vendors/designs as soon as we started working together and she was always ready to help. Andrea and her assistant saved us from a lot of stress on the wedding day. I highly recommend her if you are looking for a wedding planner in the north Georgia.

Andrea and Ben Boykin Thanks to their expertise, guidance and calm demeanor my daughter and son-in-law's wedding went as smooth and stress-free as possible considering we planned an outdoor sunset wedding at Brasstown Valley Resort that became a beautiful, fun Ballroom wedding inside the resort due to a tropical storm in November! Andrea navigated all the changes with the venue (along with Savannah, Catering Svc Mgr) and vendors within 24 hours of the wedding with ease, professionalism and attentiveness. Andrea is everything you could want in a wedding planner. She was on top of every aspect of our wedding details. She made sure, not only that our desires were completely met, but that every vendor was coordinated and was in complete control. Because she was so in control, I never had anything to worry about. She kept in touch with me at all times and was so reassuring to my mom, the nervous Mother-of-the Bride. We will always be grateful we had Andrea as our wedding planner.

What an amazing couple to work with. One month prior to our event I needed an officiant to marry our daughter and her fiancé. Andrea stayed one step ahead of my husband and I throughout the whole planning process. She made time to meet with us and check in with us to make sure that we were staying on track. When it came to the month of, she reached out to all my vendors to make sure they were all on the same page. She is extremely knowledgeable about the industry and completely transparent. She made sure the final touches on the table set up we’re complete along with other day of tasks so that my mom could relax and enjoy the day with me. Her attention to detail is unparalleled l. I couldn’t have planned every detail without Andrea and Jessica! Their service made me feel like I was the only bride they were helping as they answered any random question or resolved any slight concern with an email at anytime of the day. The service provided for the price offered made it an easy decision. They helped with details and vendors before the big day and made our day run perfectly smooth. I planned a destination wedding for 40 people with about 12 seconds of free time a day. Andrea and Jessica helped me with vendors and a site visit and prepping for all of our guests arrival. I couldn’t have pulled it off without them. They have the patience of a saint!

Our wedding would not have happened without Andrea and Jessica at Unique events. We have 3 boys, full time jobs in healthcare and education and they were a life saver. We told them our perfect wedding weekend and that’s exactly what we got. No stress during our weekend whatsoever ... because they handled it all. I didn’t even have to look at a clock wedding day because It was all mapped out and taken care of for us. Of all of our wedding vendors, they were the most critical and the best. They helped us find all of our vendors and then managed payment schedules and all weekend festivities. We will love them forever and are so thankful.

We worked with Andrea at Unique Events after she was referred by our venue. She was amazing! Because she is local, she already knew most of our vendors and was able to do a bit of coordination with them ahead of time, even though we only hired her for day-of. She was a prompt communicator and made our wedding day go super smoothly - she even stopped by the store to pick up a super non-urgent item for us at our request! Andrea was a delight to work with and I highly recommend her! She made the day about us but threw in her thoughts and recommendations when prompted. (FYI, this was an LGBT wedding and all our vendors, including Andrea, were great!)

I cannot tell you how grateful I am that we chose Unique Events to help us plan our wedding. We hired Jessica and Andrea for partial planning and they were readily available with ideas, etiquette tips, thoughts, and vendor suggestions from start to finish for months before the wedding. We hired two vendors from their suggestions and they were great choices too! It was POURING down rain on our wedding day, but they and their team worked so hard with smiles on their faces. They made what could have been a very stressful weather event no problem at all! We made some last minute changes and they were so flexible and gracious. My parents and husband and I cannot praise them enough. They saved the day before we even knew it needed saving in so many ways. There are so many things and considerations you have to make when planning a wedding, it can be quite overwhelming, but Unique Events thinks of all of them for you and makes sure you won’t miss a beat. Jessica and Andrea and their team really made our weekend, from rehearsal-to wedding day- to day after brunch, perfect.

Jessica helped plan my wedding at Vogel State Park and I don't know what I would have done without her. We live in Gwinnett county, so her vendor recommendations were much needed and we were extremely happy with all of her recommendations. Jessica was great to work with!! I hired Unique Events as recommended to me by other vendors in the area around my venue (as I was an hour and a half away). I really needed help coordinating the rehearsal because the officiant wouldn't be able to join us, and I needed help getting the venue decorated the day of the wedding. I chose the "Day of" package and worked solely with Jessica. I contacted her months in advance to book. It took some time to get a hold of her to ask questions and book them, but after being booked, I had no trouble reaching her and she was always quick to respond! Because I didn't need vendor or contract help, they were willing to negotiate the price, which I was grateful for! Being a very organized bride, I had done a lot of the work for her ahead of time, but the things I didn't know how to do or could not do for myself because I would be getting ready, I completely trusted her with. She did not disappoint!! My reception and ceremony venues changed 24 hours before the wedding due to weather and I trusted her completely to still help execute my vision. She was very sweet, helpful and accommodating. I would recommend working with Jessica to other brides who need someone to help execute their wedding vision on their wedding day!!

HORRIBLE!!!! DO NOT USE!!!!!!!! This woman is an absolute nightmare! I literally can't even wrap my head around the notion that the two reviews below are accurate and/or real. From the planning process to the day of she was nothing but unprofessional, inexperienced, under staffed and rude. NOTHING wen't smoothly: She had wedding guest help move and load items for set-up, her billing system is terribly inaccurate, vendors hate working with her- I could go on and on. The assistants she references for your special day are nothing more than high school students that have no clue what they are doing let alone how to assist in running an event. This woman does not act or treat the bride as a client, instead she is bothered by every step of the planning process. I can not express how deeply I wish my sister would have used someone else or fired Andrea. The fact that our wedding guest commented how rude and flustered the wedding planner seemed the day of was enough to put me over the edge. I'm not one to write reviews, but a bride's wedding day is one of the most important days of her life, a planner is hired to alleviate stress and help guide her through the process-- People like Andrea should be put out of business. I hope anyone considering using Andrea's services sees this as a warning and chooses to stay far, far away!! Literally RUN in the opposite direction of this so-called "wedding planner"

Andrea coordinated my wedding at Southern Tree Plantation a few weeks ago. She was great to work with and invaluable the day of the reception. A few times my family members became a bit difficult with her through the planning process and she handled it wonderfully. Would definatley recommend!

Andrea at Unique Events is more of a coordinator than a planner. She made sure that my wedding day ran smoothly and we were always on time. I truly believe that without her I would have been a major bridezilla! She is the consumate professional and really knows what she's doing!
