From our very first conversation, Andrea brought a sense of calm and confidence that immediately put me at ease. Her experience, warmth and guidance were truly invaluable througho...
ut the entire journey. She was a steady and reassuring presence every step of the way, handling every situation and detail with such grace and care. Andrea genuinely listened and worked tirelessly to bring my daughter's dreams to life, treating them as if they were her own. I honestly cannot imagine navigating the past year without her support. Her communication with everyone involved was seamless, and working with her was an absolute joy - she is someone I now consider a friend. The wedding turned out absolutely beautiful, and I cannot imagine anyone more talented, dedicated, or caring than Andrea. She is simply exceptional at what she does.
Overlook 55 wedding venue and owners were the best! As parents of the groom, this was our first time to have a wedding in our family. We were not experienced in what we needed to...
do, plus we were seven hours away. We relied on the owners, Ben and Andrea Boykin to plan our rehearsal dinner as well as the wedding. Their professional, detail-oriented, personal services were spot on. From the very beginning there was open communication to every detail. The information for vendors, their locations and plans for both events were absolutely perfect. Both events were flawless, not to mention the beauty of the venue and the surrounding mountain view which happened to all be located in the same area. We highly recommend Overlook 55 and the owners who were kind, professional, and allowed us to have a stress-free two days. They actually treated us as if we were their long time friends.
Andrea Boykin from Unique Events was a godsend. We hired Andrea to help us coordinate my daughter’s rehearsal and wedding. She was hardworking, dedicated, experienced, and caring. ...
She provided insightful guidance that helped us achieve my daughter’s and her husband-to-be’s vision for a stunning wedding in the gorgeous mountains of north Georgia.
From early planning assistance to the event itself, her knowledge and expertise shone through, culminating in the seamless, fun, and beautiful wedding we envisioned. Her experience in the local area helped point us to top-notch vendors. Since we are not from the area, this was particularly appreciated. When we came to truly value Andrea (more than words can adequately convey) was when the unspeakable happened. With no forewarning, our original venue sent us an email (an email!!) informing us that the property had been sold, and they would NOT honor our venue contract. This unexpected email was received less than 80 days before the wedding! Every bride’s, groom’s and parent’s absolute worst nightmare.
The first person we reached out to was Andrea. She made herself instantly available and quickly provided us a list of other potential venues in the area. Her rapid response enabled us to pivot quickly. We were able to visit and select another venue within a week’s time and proceed with the wedding as originally scheduled with the wonderful new venue. As you can tell from the photos, the wedding and venue were absolutely stunning.
Andrea coordinated the entire rehearsal like the pro that she is, answering everyone’s questions and anticipating those no one thought to ask. She showed up the next day ready for action. I never saw her stop moving or sit the entire day, which began many hours before the actual ceremony. She made sure everything was handled from start to finish, from ensuring that the ceremony and reception site were beautifully arranged to securing the gifts and our personal items before she left. She coordinated with all of the vendors behind the scenes, ensuring that each of their parts was completed on time and per our vision. Whatever challenge came her way, she handled it perfectly, always maintaining a calm, cool, and cheerful demeanor – and without us having to worry or lift a finger. She is the ultimate professional.
We are so very thankful to Andrea for all her efforts and kindness in making our event exactly what we hoped. If you want to have a beautiful, unforgettable, stress-free wedding, contact Andrea at Unique Events today. You’ll be so happy you did!

Andrea was always available for any questions that I had and very easy to communicate with. She and her team made my wedding day go so smoothly, I was able to completely enjoy the day and soak up every minute. I'd recommend Unique Events to any bride in need of a planner/coordinator!

Andrea and Ben were both incredible and worth every penny for our wedding! They were both extremely communicative, kind, and helpful for us, since we didn't know what we were doing...
half the time.
Ben did a great job officiating our wedding, and listened to all of our concerns and requests for the ceremony. Andrea made the month before our wedding a breeze and handled everything from setup, vendor communication, and timeline to perfection!!
In addition to all of this, our wedding happened to be on the night of their anniversary, but they still gave us plenty of focus and attention, I cannot recommend them enough!
Andrea was great to work with. We face the challenge of planning our wedding from out of town, Andrea was a huge help with everything. She helped take our vision of what we wanted ...
our wedding to be and helped make it a reality.
Extremely organized and dedicated to every detail.
We can’t say enough about how great she was to work with.
Andrea and her team are the ABSOLUTE BEST. Even though we were planning a somewhat smaller and more informal affair, Andrea was a godsend. Leading up to the day Andrea's kind, pati...
ent, and detail-oriented communication was amazing. Importantly, she held space for us to be who we are and not pressure us to go in any direction throughout our planing- I cannot overstate how lovely that is. Honestly one of my favorite photos from the wedding was of Andrea leaning into our bird theme by wearing a feather headband!
I did not have to make a single decision or give any direction on our wedding day. I'm telling you- GODSEND. We had no idea if anything went wrong- you can't ask for anything more than that (and we had a caterer, band, DJ and bar set up in a somewhat challenging venue! We found out later that they had to completely pivot where the food was being cooked and set up). At one point Andrea had to kindly redirect the band when they started playing the wrong genre music that we had requested- woof. We were able to simply relax and enjoy the day with our loved ones. We also used her bar services and recommended DJ (who was so patient with our very specific requests) and everything was just perfect- everyone was so friendly, kind, and professional. Andrea also checked in on us throughout the evening and made sure we were fed and had drinks!
Even if you think project management and/or event planning are your strong suits, I'm telling you- HIRE ANDREA AND UNIQUE EVENTS. You don't need to be a hero on your wedding day.
Most professional attention to detail and personalized approach out there! The best!

tion wedding, not knowing or really understanding what you're walking into. They had a full knowledge of the area, were able to provide incredible guidance yet valued our input and originality. We had Zoom meetings to hammer out any details and were in constant communication via email. They had a fantastic rapport with the venue staff and people around them! They provided an invaluable service for us! We appreciate them so much!

ught a wedding planner would do to ensure that my now husband and I had the most amazing day possible! Having her there ensured that things went smoothly and eased so much stress from us so that we could truly enjoy our day. I truly can't thank her enough. If anyone is looking for someone that will help your day go smoothly and that will go way above and beyond for you Andrea is it!
Andrea helped us with our wedding at Brasstown Valley. Having worked in the area for close to 20 years, she is very experienced and extremely familiar with the area. The checklist ...
she gave on the aisle planner and the advice/tips I have gotten from her in each step of the planning process is super helpful! Her month of planning service was of great value, very comprehensive and exactly what we needed. She has great listening and coordination skills. Unlike other day of coordinators, Andrea made great recommendations on local vendors/designs as soon as we started working together and she was always ready to help. Andrea and her assistant saved us from a lot of stress on the wedding day. I highly recommend her if you are looking for a wedding planner in the north Georgia.
Our experience with Unique Events for our intimate mountain wedding was nothing short of phenomenal. Andrea and her team, with their kind but hardworking spirit, transformed our 40...
-person celebration into a seamless, stress-free dream. From the initial planning stages, where Andrea's expertise shone through, to the post-wedding brunch that left our guests raving about the fantastic food – every detail was handled with precision. Andrea's planning meetings became a sigh of relief, and on the big day, her team's assistance allowed us to truly savor the moment with our friends and family. Thanks to Unique Events, marrying my partner of 8 years became an unforgettable experience that we'll cherish for a lifetime.

running on track so I could enjoy the day and be in the moment. Andrea recommended vendors, reviewed contracts, and coordinated with all our vendors to manage logistics and make sure everything went smoothly. She has relationships with a lot of other local companies which makes everything easier when looking for and working with other vendors. I highly recommend letting Andrea work her magic and bring your wedding vision to life!
Simply the BEST! Andrea and Ben Boykin

idering we planned an outdoor sunset wedding at Brasstown Valley Resort that became a beautiful, fun Ballroom wedding inside the resort due to a tropical storm in November! Andrea navigated all the changes with the venue (along with Savannah, Catering Svc Mgr) and vendors within 24 hours of the wedding with ease, professionalism and attentiveness. Family and guests were impressed and grateful, as well, and expressed that everything turned out beautifully. Most importantly, the bride and groom were so happy with the entire celebration and were confident and at ease with Andrea's experienced advice and direction.
It was a pleasure and blessing to work with Andrea as our Day of Wedding Planner and Ben as the ceremony Officiant. They provided 5-star service and are wonderful people! I highly recommend their wedding services.

hat every vendor was coordinated and was in complete control. Because she was so in control, I never had anything to worry about. She kept in touch with me at all times and was so reassuring to my mom, the nervous Mother-of-the Bride. We will always be grateful we had Andrea as our wedding planner.

Many Thanks to them both,

k. When it came to the month of, she reached out to all my vendors to make sure they were all on the same page. She is extremely knowledgeable about the industry and completely transparent. She made sure the final touches on the table set up we’re complete along with other day of tasks so that my mom could relax and enjoy the day with me. Her attention to detail is unparalleled l. I would 10/10 recommend Andrea wedding coordination.
Andrea: what an asset to our team! She is an effective communicator, pleasant, and efficient. Her decades in the business should bring comfort to anyone needing A+ wedding coo...
rdinating services! Not only did she have to navigate a brand new venue (first wedding there), but she had to make quick decisions based on the ever changing weather-- and fortunately, the creekside wedding occurred as had been dreamed! Andrea managed to keep us all on task (bridge and groom live in Arizona) -- with her decades in the industry, she's quick on problem solving and bringing solutions, all the while remaining pleasant and professional! Thank you, Andrea!

thly. She even saved our wedding cake, which was falling apart before we had a chance to cut it. I highly recommend Unique Events for anyone looking for reliable coordination services at a reasonable price.

lved any slight concern with an email at anytime of the day. The service provided for the price offered made it an easy decision. They helped with details and vendors before the big day and made our day run perfectly smooth. She checked in as needed and ran the show even with it being a rainy day. I couldn’t have asked for two better ladies in helping our big day come together. Plus Andrea’s husband Ben was a wonderful addition as our officiant. He was kind and easy going and made our ceremony perfect! 100% recommend Unique Events!!

Our wedding would not have happened without Andrea and Jessica at Unique events. We have 3 boys, full time jobs in healthcare and education and they were a life saver. We told the...
m our perfect wedding weekend and that’s exactly what we got. No stress during our weekend whatsoever ... because they handled it all. I didn’t even have to look at a clock wedding day because It was all mapped out and taken care of for us. Of all of our wedding vendors, they were the most critical and the best. They helped us find all of our vendors and then managed payment schedules and all weekend festivities. We will love them forever and are so thankful.
We worked with Andrea at Unique Events after she was referred by our venue. She was amazing! Because she is local, she already knew most of our vendors and was able to do a bit of ...
coordination with them ahead of time, even though we only hired her for day-of. She was a prompt communicator and made our wedding day go super smoothly - she even stopped by the store to pick up a super non-urgent item for us at our request! Andrea was a delight to work with and I highly recommend her! She made the day about us but threw in her thoughts and recommendations when prompted. (FYI, this was an LGBT wedding and all our vendors, including Andrea, were great!)
I cannot tell you how grateful I am that we chose Unique Events to help us plan our wedding. We hired Jessica and Andrea for partial planning and they were readily available with i...
deas, etiquette tips, thoughts, and vendor suggestions from start to finish for months before the wedding. We hired two vendors from their suggestions and they were great choices too! It was POURING down rain on our wedding day, but they and their team worked so hard with smiles on their faces. They made what could have been a very stressful weather event no problem at all! We made some last minute changes and they were so flexible and gracious. My parents and husband and I cannot praise them enough. They saved the day before we even knew it needed saving in so many ways. There are so many things and considerations you have to make when planning a wedding, it can be quite overwhelming, but Unique Events thinks of all
of them for you and makes sure you won’t miss a beat. Jessica and Andrea and their team really made our weekend, from rehearsal-to wedding day- to day after brunch, perfect.

Jessica was great to work with!!
I hired Unique Events as recommended to me by other vendors in the area around my venue (as I was an hour and a half away). I really needed help ...
coordinating the rehearsal because the officiant wouldn't be able to join us, and I needed help getting the venue decorated the day of the wedding. I chose the "Day of" package and worked solely with Jessica. I contacted her months in advance to book. It took some time to get a hold of her to ask questions and book them, but after being booked, I had no trouble reaching her and she was always quick to respond! Because I didn't need vendor or contract help, they were willing to negotiate the price, which I was grateful for!
Being a very organized bride, I had done a lot of the work for her ahead of time, but the things I didn't know how to do or could not do for myself because I would be getting ready, I completely trusted her with. She did not disappoint!! My reception and ceremony venues changed 24 hours before the wedding due to weather and I trusted her completely to still help execute my vision. She was very sweet, helpful and accommodating. I would recommend working with Jessica to other brides who need someone to help execute their wedding vision on their wedding day!!
HORRIBLE!!!! DO NOT USE!!!!!!!! This woman is an absolute nightmare! I literally can't even wrap my head around the notion that the two reviews below are accurate and/or real. From...
the planning process to the day of she was nothing but unprofessional, inexperienced, under staffed and rude. NOTHING wen't smoothly: She had wedding guest help move and load items for set-up, her billing system is terribly inaccurate, vendors hate working with her- I could go on and on. The assistants she references for your special day are nothing more than high school students that have no clue what they are doing let alone how to assist in running an event. This woman does not act or treat the bride as a client, instead she is bothered by every step of the planning process. I can not express how deeply I wish my sister would have used someone else or fired Andrea. The fact that our wedding guest commented how rude and flustered the wedding planner seemed the day of was enough to put me over the edge. I'm not one to write reviews, but a bride's wedding day is one of the most important days of her life, a planner is hired to alleviate stress and help guide her through the process-- People like Andrea should be put out of business. I hope anyone considering using Andrea's services sees this as a warning and chooses to stay far, far away!! Literally RUN in the opposite direction of this so-called "wedding planner"
Andrea coordinated my wedding at Southern Tree Plantation a few weeks ago. She was great to work with and invaluable the day of the reception. A few times my family members became ...
a bit difficult with her through the planning process and she handled it wonderfully. Would definatley recommend!
Andrea at Unique Events is more of a coordinator than a planner. She made sure that my wedding day ran smoothly and we were always on time. I truly believe that without her I would...
